Abstract

Effect of superior plant hormone ZPT (hantu) and composition of planting media on the initial growth of dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) stem cuttings.The research was began in November 2018 until February 2019, taking place in Sukodono Hamlet, Sumber Sari Village, Loa Kulu Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research  was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 4 x 3 factorial analysis and repeated three times . The first factor is the provision of superior plant hormone ZPT (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely h0 (control or without treatment), h1 (1.5 ml L-1), h2 (3 ml L-1), and h3 (4,5 ml L-1) The second factor is the composition of the planting medium consisting of 3 levels, namely m1 (soil + cow manure (2: 1)), m2 (soil + cow manure (3: 1)), m3 (soil + cow manure (4: 1). The treatment of superior plant hormone ZPT administration had no significant effect on all parameters observed (first shoot time after planting, shoot length, number of shoots and stem circumference shoots 40, 60, and 80 days). The treatment of the composition of the planting medium has no significant effect on all parameters observed (first time shoots after planting, shoot length, number of shoots and stem circumference shoots 40, 60, and 80 days).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the origin of the waste liquid organic fertilizer market and applicaton time on result lettuce. This research began in May to July 2013, located behind the office BP3K Muara Jawa Sub district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Borneo Province.This research was arranged using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) 3 x 4 factorial with 3 (three) replication. As the first factor is the concentration of POC with 4 levels that are p0= without treatment (control), p1= 2,5 ml POC-1 liters of water, p2= 5,0 ml POC-1 liters of water, p3= 7,5 ml POC-1 liters of water. And the second factor is the treatment time of POC applications with 3 levels that are w1= fertilizer 3 days, w2= fertilizer 7 days, w1= fertilizer 10 days.Concentration and origin of the waste liquid organic fertilizer market is not a real effect on the average plant fresh weight. Results of plant fresh weight was highest at p3 concentration effect is 52,19 g.Liquid organic fertilizer application time origin does not affect the real market waste on average plant fresh weight. The results ofthe highest plant fresh weight at the time the application is w1 is 47,02 g.Interaction between the origin of the waste liquihd organic fertilizer market and application time did not significantly affect the average plant fresh weight. Fresh weight of the plants on the interaction effect of concentration and time of application is p3w3 that 57,09 g.Key word : result, lettuce, the waste liquid organic fertilizer market, applicaton time

Abstract

Response on Growth and Yield of Peanut (Arachis Hypogeae L.) by Potassium Fertilizing and Soil Tillage System.The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction between potassium fertilizer application and soil tillage systems on the growth and yield of peanuts and getting potassium fertilizer and tillage systems optimum for the growth and yield of peanut.The experiment was conducted approximately four (4) months since September 2012 until December 2012 starting from land preparation to harvest. The research was located in the Ponoragan village of Loa Kulu Sub District of Kutai Kartanegara Regency in East Kalimantan Province.Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) was used as factorial experimental design with three times replication. The first factor was Potassium Fertilizer with four levels, i.e. k0 = 0 kg K2O ha-1 ; k1= 30 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 32 g KCl plot-1 ; k2 = 60 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 63 g KCl plot-1 and k3 = 90 kg K2O ha-1 equal with 95 g KCl plot-1. Whilst the second factor was soil tillage system with three levels, i.e. s0 = no tillage ; s1 = minimum tillage and s2 = maximum tillage (intensively tillage).The results showed that application of potassium fertilizer was significantly affected to height of plant, number of pods per plant, number of void pods per plant, weight of seed per plant, number of dry seed per plant and production of dry seed. The highest of dry seed production was reached at k3 = 90 kg K2O ha-1equal with 95 g KCl plot-1 with average 1.61t ha-1.The results also showed that soil tillage system was significantly affected to height of plant, number of pods per plant, number of void pods per plant, weight of seed per plant, number of dry seed per plant and production of dry seed. The highest of dry seed production was reached at s2 = maximum tillage (intensively tillage) with average 1.78t ha-1.Interaction between application of potassium fertilizer and soil tillage system was not affected to all parameters observed.Keyword : Peanut, Potassium Fertilizing, Soil Tillage System

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kalium dan sistem olah tanah terhadap hasil tanaman kacang tanah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat dalam upaya peningkatan produktivitas kacang tanah di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur khususnya di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara.Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kalium menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap rata-rata hasil biji kering. Perlakuan pemberian pupuk kalium dengan dosis 90 kg K2O ha-1 (k3) menghasilkan rata-rata hasil biji kering tertinggi yakni 0,23 ton ha-1. Melalui perbandingan ortogonal polynomial pada hasil biji kering di dapatkan kurva linier dengan persamaan regresi dan koefisien determinasi, yaitu ? = 0,0015x + 0,0866, dan r2 = 0,9242. Sedangkan sistem olah tanah menunjukkan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap rata-rata hasil biji kering. Perlakuan dengan sistem olah tanah maksimum (s2) menghasilkan rata-rata hasil biji kering tertinggi yakni 0,17 ton ha-1. Selain itu tidak terjadi interaksi antara pemberian pupuk kalium dan sistem olah tanah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan dalam upaya memperbaiki kondisi tanah dan tingkat kesuburannya, maka disarankan untuk petani dan instansi terkait bahwa pemberian pupuk kalium dengan dosis 90 kg K2O ha-1 (k3) dapat diaplikasikan karena memberikan rata-rata hasil biji kering tertinggi yakni 0,23 ton ha-1 dengan terlebih dahulu memperhatikan sifat kimia tanah (pH tanah) untuk diperbaiki melalui pengapuran, sedangkan sistem olah tanah yang dapatkan aplikasikan dalam budidaya kacang tanah yakni dengan sistem olah tanah maksimum (maksimum tilage) karena memberikan rata-rata hasil biji kering tertinggi yakni 0,17 ton ha-1.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence tricokompos and coconut water toward the result cauliflower research was conducted since May to August 2015, at agricultural landlongaparistreet maluhu village, Sub District Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara District, East Borneo Province.The research was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with analysis of factorial 4x4 with deuteronomy three times. first factor treatment is giving tricokompos (T) that consists of 4 level, which consist of t0 (without fertilizer), t1(6 kg swath-1), t2(12kg swath-1), t3 (18 kg swath-1), and secondary factor treatment are a gift from coconut water (A) that consists of 4 level that is a0 (without hormone), a1 (0,125 L swath-1), a2 (0,250 L swath-1), and a3(0,375 L swath-1).The research results show that the treatment tricokompos do not affect to the six parameters and influential real highly visible to the three parameters, while coconut water does not have real an effect on to crops all parameters. The highest result per hectare of yield t3a3treatment at 18,48 t ha-1.
