This research is library research using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research show that: (1) The status of bonds in Islam is halal and zakat is mandatory; (2) In reviewing Islamic law, scholars have different opinions regarding the issuance of zakat on bonds, the first opinion states that bonds are not subject to zakat because they contain elements of usury, while the second opinion states that zakat is required for bonds along with the interest. The second opinion is a strong opinion because conventional bonds require zakat to be issued on the nominal value of the bond itself at 2.5%. Meanwhile, the zakat that must be paid on sharia bonds, namely from the bond itself, both the bond and its profits, must pay 2.5% zakat; (3) How to calculate zakat on bonds in Islam, namely bonds at PT Bank Mandiri, zakat is calculated based on their nominal value, namely 1000 bonds times IDR 25,000 equals IDR 25,000,000 then 25,000,000 times the zakat rate (2.5%) the result is the same as IDR 625,000.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relevance of Paulo Freire's thoughts on critical education in the context of political transformation in Indonesia. Paulo Freire emphasizes the importance of dialogue, critical consciousness, and praxis as the main foundations in the process of human emancipation. In Freire's view, education serves not only as a transfer of knowledge, but also as a means of liberation to form a conscious, critical, and social-politically active subject. Indonesia as a developing democracy faces various political challenges, such as social polarization, low political literacy, and inequality of access and participation of citizens in the democratic process. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing secondary data in the form of books, scientific journals, and articles related to critical education and political dynamics in Indonesia. The analysis is focused on the potential application of Freire's thinking in answering the challenge of democracy. The results show that Freire-style critical education is relevant to encourage more inclusive, reflective, and democratic political participation. Critical education is able to equip citizens with critical thinking skills, awareness of political rights and obligations, and encourage active involvement in democratic life. Therefore, this study recommends the integration of Freire's critical education principles into the national education curriculum in order to strengthen the quality of democracy and encourage a more just and sustainable political transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the epistemological foundations of Islamic education through the integrative analysis of three major epistemologies in the Islamic intellectual tradition: bayani, burhani, and ‘irfani. While discussions of these epistemologies are often situated within philosophical discourse, this article positions them explicitly within the framework of Islamic educational theory. Using a qualitative library research method, the study critically analyzes classical and contemporary sources to explore how each epistemology contributes to the construction of educational orientation, curriculum design, and teaching–learning processes. The findings indicate that bayani epistemology provides a textual-normative foundation that shapes value-based curriculum content and ethical guidance in education. Burhani epistemology strengthens critical thinking, systematic reasoning, and intellectual rigor within pedagogical practice. Meanwhile, ‘irfani epistemology emphasizes character formation, spiritual development, and the cultivation of inner awareness as integral dimensions of learning. Rather than functioning in isolation, these epistemologies offer complementary educational paradigms that collectively support a holistic model of Islamic education. This study contributes to the development of Islamic educational philosophy by proposing an integrated epistemological framework that bridges revelation, reason, and spirituality. Such integration is essential for constructing an educational paradigm that is intellectually sound, spiritually grounded, and responsive to contemporary challenges.

Abstract

The high failure rate of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations demands an in-depth evaluation of non-technical aspects, particularly leadership and organizational dynamics. This study aims to examine the moderated mediation mechanism linking transformational leadership to successful ERP implementation, positioning employee innovative behavior as a mediator and organizational culture as a moderator. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 310 professional employees in Indonesia who had used an ERP system for at least one year. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results demonstrate that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect in triggering innovative behavior. The most crucial finding indicates that innovative behavior is the most dominant determinant (β=0.592) in predicting ERP success, surpassing other factors. Furthermore, organizational culture is proven to moderate the relationship, where an adaptive culture serves as a catalyst that strengthens the impact of leadership on innovation. This study concludes that successful digital transformation requires a paradigm shift from a techno-centric approach to a human-centric one, where visionary leaders and a supportive culture are absolute prerequisites for technology adaptation
