Abstract

This study implemented the use of basic competency job-sheet to lathe for a rectangular thread for students of vocational high school. The numerous numbers of students who asked questions indicated that learning has been ineffective. Pretest results proved that the competency in the use of lathe with a rectangular thread did not meet KKM value. This study’s objective therefore was to understand validity, reliability, effectiveness and practicality of the jobsheet for vocational senior high school students.This study used a Research and Development method with 4Da study model approach comprising of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, this study  only used 3D, specifically, Define, Design and Develop. The Kappa Coefficient of the VCR raw material was used to gain validity and reliability of the jobsheet content. Two group pretest-posttest designs were used to test effectiveness of the jobsheet, and students’ response to questionnaires were used to understand their  responses.The results of study indicate that validity of the jobsheet content is derived from 2 raters which indicate CVI value with a valid category. Reliability of the jobsheet content showed this was the most substantial category. The results of effectiveness given illustrates that the increasing mean of the posttest values where found effective, while that of students’ responses given to an experimental class was in the very feasible category. The conclusion of this study therefore is valid, reliable, effective and practical development and can be usable for practice learning to lathe the rectangular thread.

Abstract

Accreditation and ISO become a benchmark that is used as a school in an effort to ensure the quality of education. In applying of Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2015 can be integrated with accreditation standards. Purpose of this research: (1)the evaluation results of ISO 9001: 2015 implementation integrated with accreditation standards in SMK 1 Sragi  in terms of Context, input, process, product; and (2) inhibiting and supporting factors for the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 that are integrated with accreditation standards in SMK 1 Sragi. This research was carried out using the CIPP evaluation model from Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques: questionnaires, interviews, and review of  archive documents. The results showed that : (1) The evaluation results of the ISO 9001: 2015 implementation integrated with accreditation standards in SMK 1 Sragi showed that: the context aspect is categorized quite well with an average of 3.18, the input aspect is categorized quite well with an average of 3.23, the process aspect is categorized quite well with an average of 3.19, the product aspect is categorized quite well with an average of 3.06. (2) The inhibiting factors for the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 integrated accreditation standards in SMK 1 Sragi are stagnation of mindset for sustainable school progress, lack of literary awareness and lack of understanding of risk management, supporting factors for the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 integrated accreditation standards in SMK 1 Sragi are top management commitment, role of personal, effective communication, and continous improvement.

Abstract

Unemployment of graduates of Automotive Engineering expertise program of Vocational High School (SMK) can be overcome with entrepreneurship. The obstacle is that students are not ready to become entrepreneurs. Learning process at school needs to be analyzed to find new learning models that enhance students' entrepreneurship skills which is in accordance with the expertise program. This study aims to analyze the factual conditions of productive learning of motorcycle tune-up competence and entrepreneurial learning in SMK, to analyze conceptual models developed, to determine hypothetical models, to analyze student learning outcomes using hypothetical models, and to determine the final model of learning. The method used in this research is research and development, carried out by conducting preliminary studies, model development, product testing, and final model determination. The result shows that factually productive learning of motorcycle tune-up competence with entrepreneurship lesson are separated. The conceptual model designed using the syntax of project-based learning model has entrepreneurship approach in productive learning, but still requires improvement. After the improvement, there comes a hypothetical model with the principle of integrating productive learning with entrepreneurial activity, and the learning is oriented towards a modified project-based learning model. The model is well implemented because the experimental class’ learning result is better than the control class’ learnng result. The value of technical skill and entrepreneur skills of experimental class students increased significantly, thus the final model of learning used hypothetical model with the learning model name is PjBL In Entre (Project-Based Learning Integrated with Entrepreneurship).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a website of Master Study Programs in Vocational Education of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). This research used Research and Development methods, and website development design using the Waterfall method. The subjects of the study are students, alumni & managers of the Master Study Program at UNNES vocational education. The object of this study is the website of the UNNES Vocational Education Graduate Study Program. The sample of the research subjects was taken purposively because this research focused more on the research objectives, the website applied in this Study Program. The development of this website was tested by validators of web experts, substance experts, and user validators. The test results from the validator are as follows: (1) the test results of web experts got an average percentage of 90% or can be considered very feasible; (2) the results of testing by a substance expert got an average of 88% (very feasible); (3) the test results by the user got an average of 90% or very good. This study program information website was also tested using the blackbox method which resulted in the average website running well in suitted with the results expected. The reliability of the website was tested using loadimpact, tools for stress testing using 50 virtual users for 5 minutes, the results of which failed rate 0. This study produced a web with broadcast message feature, responsive website theme. The final results of research on website development are categorized as very feasible to be applied.

Abstract

Woman Muslim (Muslimah) outfit had became trend or been a part of fashion blooming nowdays. The increase of fashion industry has positive impact for Indonesian economic condition. Fashion education and training did not have learning module yet, which is fit with National Worker Competency Standard (SKKNI) for muslimah fashion design. The purpose of this research is to develop muslimah outfit learning module based on National Worker Competency Standard. Research and development method is used for developing learning module, while expert validation technique is used for validating the module, and practition respondent is used for validating the suitable of the module. The developed learning module shows its validity observed on feasibility of content 3.47; feasibility of presentation 3.49; contextual value 3.38, feasibility of graphic 3.46; feasibility of language 3.53. The overall number 17.32 with an average 3.46 with the result that learning module is very valid. The result of data analysis collected from 10 respondents shows that this learning module strongly ready to use observed by content, language and anxiety. The conclution of this research are muslimah outfit learning module based on National Worker Competency Standard declared valid and can be used for school learning as well as training. Learning method with scientific approach involve process competency such as observe, classify, measure, predict, explain, and conclude. Learning module gives alternative competency based media to develop fashion word.

Abstract

Computer Aided Design (CAD) learning model in the Civil Engineering Vocational Education program in Universitas Negeri Semarang, especially 2-dimensional modeling, continues to be developed so that learning outcomes are accepted by the standards the business / construction services industry. Development of learning outcomes is inseparable from efforts to develop learning model that is used during the learning process. The development of learning models in this study focused on the development of learning methods, learning materials and CAD learning evaluation techniques. This study used the research and development using the Dick and Carrey design. The research sample was 34 students who took Computer Graphic course. The results showed that the three aspects: the development of methods, the development of teaching materials and materials and the development of evaluation techniques were categorized as excellent and very excellent. The CAD learning method was very suitable to be developed through conceptual learning methods, direct practice learning and case study learning. The use of this method was based on the needs faced in the classroom (situational). This means that the use of this method could be used at once, or varied according to the condition in the class. The use of learning equipment is one of the keys for successful learning development. The learning equipment developed in this study included the use of hand-outs, modules and supplements. The use of all three was very successful to support optimal learning outcomes. The use of all three was also aimed to facilitate the diverse learning needs of students. The development of evaluation techniques in learning included three domains: cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain. The cognitive domain was divided into two aspects: construction knowledge and the use of software. The development of evaluation techniques showed that the ability of students in each domain was in the excellent and very excellent category.

Abstract

Kendal regency government committed to develop tourism, through batik as one of their local potentials. Situation analysis in two micro-scale industry partners identify that both locate in tourism destination area, however their competitiveness to support tourisms need to be enhanced. Their motif collections with typical Kendal were limited, as well as product diversification,and environment support. One of the industry use natural dyes with high dependence to other province cultivation and high cost, while the other need applied technology of souvenir batik crafts,batik packaging, and patterned batik fashion. Solution offered was tourism awareness and environment collaboration agenda to strengthen industries through training, workshops, and technical assistance in: (1) development of typical regional motif; (2) producing souvenirs and packaging; (3) batik patterned dress; (4) batik with natural dyes based on research; (5) excellent service and simple communication in English. Product exhibition was conducted at the end of project. The results of the implementation of the activities showed an increase in knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the drilled material, creative product quality, while all participants affirmed their satisfaction.

Abstract

UTILIZATION OF LEAF LITCHI (NEPHELIUM LOGAN) FOR BATIK DYES. Abstract : The purpose of this study to determine whether the leaves litchi can be used as natural dye for batik cloth. This research uses experimental method and the result in laboratory test to see the quality of dyeing result with leaf litchi. The analysis used that is analysis descriptive on all results test laboratory . The object of this research is leaf litchi , primissima mori cloth that has been batik, type mordan (alum, lime tohor, tunjung). Leaf extraction process litchi with type different mordant showing existence difference old age color on fabric morri that is without mordan produce most young color with value the mean T% 44,32, with alum with value the mean T% 46,71, then chalk with value the mean T% 77.79, and tunjung produce The oldest color with value average of TT% 94.02. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan canting cap batik dari bahan kaleng bekas, mengetahui hasil kualitas penggunaan canting cap, dan mengetahui kelayakan canting cap batik bahan kaleng bekas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan produk ini adalah metode penelitian R&D, yang menyebutkan dalam tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, revisi produk dan uji coba produk. Hasil penelitian ini dalam memvisualisasikan canting cap batik dari kaleng bekas dalam proses pembuatannya tidak jauh berbeda dengan pembuatan canting cap bahan tembaga, hanya saja bahan kaleng ini diperlakukan sedikit berbeda karena kaleng bersifat kurang mudah dibentuk-bentuk sehingga perlu proses pembakaran terlebih dahulu sekitar 30 menit. Sedangkan penciptaan canting cap bahan kaleng ini diimplementasikan pada dua produk canting cap ukuran standar yaitu 18 x 18 cm dengan bermotifkan UNNES konservasi yaitu stilasi logo UNNES dan gulma cacalincingan yang memiliki filosofi tertentu. Uji kelayakan canting cap batik bahan kaleng dinilai dari beberapa indikator oleh 3 Ahli pakar canting cap dan 20 responden yang sering menggunakan canting cap batik yaitu perajin batik cap.

Abstract

Pembuatan motif pada tekstil pada kain dengan menggunakan teknik ecoprint memiliki tujuan konservasi atau mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan baik dari metode dan bahan kimia yang digunakan. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam teknik ecoprint pada penelitian ini adalah kelopak bunga mawar (Rosa sp.). Tingkatan produksi bunga mawar yang meningkat seiring waktu dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perbandingan lurus dengan limbah bunga mawar yang dihasilkan. Perlu diadakan metode lain pemanfaatan bunga mawar agar tetap menstabilkan angka produksi dan permintaan dan agar bunga mawar dapat memiliki nilai ekonomis yang lebih baik. Dalam sistem pewarnaan dan pembuatan motif alami pada kain dibutuhkan mordan sebagai suatu zat yang dapat mengikat struktur kimia zat warna dari tumbuhan dengan serat tekstil. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji kombinasi premordan dan postmordan pada teknik ecoprint dengan kelopak bunga mawar pada kain katun (mori primissima). Metode penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan variasi mordan yang digunakan ialah tawas, tunjung, dan kapur tohor. Variabel terikat yang diujikan ialah uji arah warna dan ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian. Metode pengumpulan data ialah melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan angket kepada panelis. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Dari pengujian arah warna dan motif didapatkan kain dengan menggunakan premordan tunjung (Fe2SO4) memiliki nilai ketajaman sebesar 80%, kain dengan tawas dan kapur tohor (CaO) memiliki nilai sebesar 20%. Postmordan menentukan hasil akhir warna motif. Postmordan yang menggunakan tawas menghasilkan motif dengan rentang warna biru hingga ungu, postmordan dengan tunjung menghasilkan motif dengan rentang warna biru gelap hingga ungu gelap, dan postmordan menggunakan kapur tohor menghasilkan warna kuning hingga cokelat. Uji ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian menunjukkan kain dengan premordan tunjung dan postmordan kapur tohor memiliki hasil terbaik yaitu sebesar 93.33% dan kain dengan premordan tunjung dan postmordan tunjung yaitu sebesar 81.33%. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah bahwa kelopak bunga mawar dapat digunakan sebagai penghasil motif pada teknik ecoprint pada kain katun dengan kombinasi mordan tunjung sebagai premordan dan postmordan kapur tohor karena menghasilkan ketajaman motif dan ketahanan luntur yang paling baik.
