Abstract

Pembuatan motif pada tekstil pada kain dengan menggunakan teknik ecoprint memiliki tujuan konservasi atau mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan baik dari metode dan bahan kimia yang digunakan. Bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam teknik ecoprint pada penelitian ini adalah kelopak bunga mawar (Rosa sp.). Tingkatan produksi bunga mawar yang meningkat seiring waktu dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perbandingan lurus dengan limbah bunga mawar yang dihasilkan. Perlu diadakan metode lain pemanfaatan bunga mawar agar tetap menstabilkan angka produksi dan permintaan dan agar bunga mawar dapat memiliki nilai ekonomis yang lebih baik. Dalam sistem pewarnaan dan pembuatan motif alami pada kain dibutuhkan mordan sebagai suatu zat yang dapat mengikat struktur kimia zat warna dari tumbuhan dengan serat tekstil. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji kombinasi premordan dan postmordan pada teknik ecoprint dengan kelopak bunga mawar pada kain katun (mori primissima). Metode penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan variasi mordan yang digunakan ialah tawas, tunjung, dan kapur tohor. Variabel terikat yang diujikan ialah uji arah warna dan ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian. Metode pengumpulan data ialah melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan angket kepada panelis. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Dari pengujian arah warna dan motif didapatkan kain dengan menggunakan premordan tunjung (Fe2SO4) memiliki nilai ketajaman sebesar 80%, kain dengan tawas dan kapur tohor (CaO) memiliki nilai sebesar 20%. Postmordan menentukan hasil akhir warna motif. Postmordan yang menggunakan tawas menghasilkan motif dengan rentang warna biru hingga ungu, postmordan dengan tunjung menghasilkan motif dengan rentang warna biru gelap hingga ungu gelap, dan postmordan menggunakan kapur tohor menghasilkan warna kuning hingga cokelat. Uji ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian menunjukkan kain dengan premordan tunjung dan postmordan kapur tohor memiliki hasil terbaik yaitu sebesar 93.33% dan kain dengan premordan tunjung dan postmordan tunjung yaitu sebesar 81.33%. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah bahwa kelopak bunga mawar dapat digunakan sebagai penghasil motif pada teknik ecoprint pada kain katun dengan kombinasi mordan tunjung sebagai premordan dan postmordan kapur tohor karena menghasilkan ketajaman motif dan ketahanan luntur yang paling baik.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah piloting maupun pelaksana mandiri perlu dievaluasi untuk menjaga konsistensi pencapaian tujuan kurikulum itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah pelaksana mandiri yang meliputi (1) Kesiapan implementasi; (2) Proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran, (3) hasil implementasi; dan (4) tingkat keberhasilan implementasi. Metode evaluasi yang digunakan adalah model Countenan Stake yang membagi komponen kurikulum dalam matrik observasi dan matrik pertimbangan meliputi tahap pendahuluan (antecedent), proses (transaction), dan hasil (outcomes). Penelitian dilakukan di SD Nasima Semarang yang merupakan sekolah pelaksana mandiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap pendahuluan atau kesiapan implementasi meliputi kesiapan guru, buku, sarana prasarana, dan rencana pembelajaran sangat baik (95%), tahap proses yang meliputi kegiatan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran sangat baik (90%), dan hasil implementasi yang meliputi respon peserta didik dan hasil belajar juga sangat baik (94%). Implementasi Kurikulum 2013 di sekolah pelaksana mandiri dapat berjalan sangat baik dengan dukungan pemenuhan standar nasional pendidikan dan para guru yang memiliki motivasi, kreativitas, dan kinerja yang baik.Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in schools piloting or independent organizers needs to be evaluated to maintain the consistency of curriculum goals. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in independent organizer to determine: (1) the readiness of implementation; (2) learning teaching process and evaluation; (3) results of the implementation; and (4) the success rate of implementation .The evaluation used Countenan Stake method which devided curriculum component in the judgment matrix and observation matrix includes the consideration of antecedent, transaction, and outcomes. The study was conducted in elementary school Nasima Semarang which is independent organizer. The results showed that the preparing stage or implementation readiness include the readiness of teachers, books, facilities, and learning plan is very good (95%), stage process that includes learning activities and learning evaluation is very good (90%), and the results of the implementation which includes responses students and learning outcomes are also very good (94%). Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in schools independent organizer can run really well by the support of compliance with education national standards and teachers who have the motivation, creativity, and good performance.

Abstract

E-book adalah buku digital yang di dalamnya terdapat materi macam-macam saku, gambar langkah kerja proses pembuatan saku, video proses pembuatan saku disertai suara narasi langkah pembuatan saku, terdapat posttest teori dan progam yang telah dikembangkan dengan adobe flash CS 6 yang akan di publish dalam bentuk application berformat EXE. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan atau dikenal dengan metode Research and Development. Tahapan dalam proses penelitian ini adalah tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Pengujian yang dilakukan berupa validasi yang dilakukan oleh expert judgement atau ahli media dan materi, kemudian media di uji coba oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini e-book yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan layak menurut penilaian pakar atau ahli media, e-book yang dikembangkan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar, e-book yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai kepraktisan dengan kategori baik. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian ini disarankan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran praktek, e-book pembelajaran berbasis scientific dapat diadaptasi untuk mengembangkan kompetensi keahlian lainnya sebagai sumber belajar tambahan.

Abstract

Batik course is practical learning which effectively applies by face-to-face learning method. However, batik learning activities cannot run effectively during the disaster (covid-19) period. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' batik skills with an online learning model in batik courses at the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Semarang. This research is a type of research and development. The development procedure in this study adapted from the ADDIE model, which includes the analysis phase of preliminary studies and literacy, drafting of learning models, development of learning models, application of learning models to research subjects, and product revision. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics. The research subjects consisted of an experiment group of 10 students and a control group of 10 students. Based on the results of the expert validation of the learning model, all indicators approve with some improvements. Analyzed the effectiveness based on trials was through the impact of student learning outcomes in batik subjects. The average learning outcomes of the experiment group had a relatively higher score of 85.3, and the control group was 80.1. In comparison, the N-Gain value is 64%, which means that the online learning model of batik learning is quite effective in improving learning outcomes and solutions for implementing practical knowledge during disaster periods.

Abstract

The Teaching Factory (TeFa) learning model is a learning model used in aproduction or service-based vocational school that refers to standards,procedures, and an industry-like atmosphere (companies). PIKA IndustrialWood Working School Semarang is one of the vocational schools thatimplements the TeFa learning model. The implementation of ongoing TeFalearning requires evaluation so that the program can run according to theexpected goals. The evaluation of the TeFa learning implementation used theCIPP evaluation model which consists of four aspects; they are Context, Input,Process, and Product (CIPP). This study aims to determine the extent of theimplementation of TeFa learning in terms of the four aspects by usingquestionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The observationresults of the teachers and industry representatives in terms of Context, Input,Process, and Product aspect showed that the implementation of TeFa learningwas considered in the very good category in accordance with the standards setby the Directorate of Vocational Education of Indonesian Ministry ofEducation, Culture, Research, and Technology with the achievement result of93% context, 96.2% inputs, 91.4% process, and 84.6% product. The results alsoshowed that the implementation of TeFa learning, according to the teacher, interms of Context, Input, Process, and Product aspects was included in the verygood category, with the respective achievements of 91.8%, 95%, 92.9% and93.4%. In addition, according to the students, the implementation of TeFalearning in terms of Context, Input, Process, and Product aspect was includedin the very good category, with the achievements of 82.8%, 89%, 89%, and93.8% respectively.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship program of Vocational High School (SMK) Ibu Kartini Semarang consisted of Business Centre, School of Entrepreneur, and Production unit. The implementation of the production unit faced several problems such as students’ lack of motivation in conducting industrial apprentice even though it has been scheduled in the timeline. There were gaps between industrial need and students’ output based on their specialization so that improving production units in school was crucial. This research was qualitative research that focused on evaluating the production unit program in SMK Ibu Kartini Semarang. The participants of the current study were principals, production unit staff, teachers, and production unit partners. The questionnaires, observation, and interviews were applied to gain the data. The analysis data used descriptive qualitative method with evaluation model such as context, input, process, product (CIPP). Furthermore, it was evaluated by the Glickman quadrant. The result showed that the production unit of SMK Ibu Kartini Semarang was “not effective” (++--) and the T score achieved 50 so that the improvement was needed.

Abstract

A Vocational High School (VHS) is an institution that aims to prepare students to be ready for work. Therefore, the graduates must have employability skills. The purpose of this research was to find out the effectiveness of applying steamPjBL approach-based employability skill modules to Computer and Network Engineering (CNE) skills competencies. This research took a sample of 36 students of class X majoring in CNE at Ngraho Public VHS. This research and development employed the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation. The research stages included conducting observations, validating research instruments by experts, and conducting trials by distributing pretest and posttest questionnaires to experimental and control classes to find out any different learning outcomes. The analysis technique was carried out using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results of the feasibility test showed that the module was very suitable for use and was considered valid with revisions; the results of the practicality test showed that the modules were very practical; and the results of the effectiveness test showed that the modules were quite effective to be used to train cooperation, communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah gulma khususnya tanaman kencana ungu dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna alami tekstil yang diujikan pada kain sutera menggunakan mordan tunjung, tawas dan kapur tohor dengan lima konsentrasi yang berbeda dan mengetahui hasil kualitas pewarnaan dalam aspek arah warna, ketuaan warna, dan ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dan hasilnya diuji secara kualitatif. metode yang digunakan yaitu metode dokumentasi dan hasil uji laboratorium. Hasil kualitas uji arah warna yang dihasilkan oleh ketiga jenis mordan berbeda. Mordan tunjung menghasilkan warna iron mordan tawas menghasilkan warna crocodile dan mordan kapur tohor menghasilkan warna hazelnut. Hasil uji ketuaan warna diperoleh kategori sangat tua namun tingkat ketuaan warna paling baik adalah mordan tunjung sedangkan hasil ketahanan luntur warna terhadap pencucian paling baik diperoleh mordan tawas dengan kategori baik dan cukup baik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tanaman kencana ungu dapat digunakan sebagai pewarna alami tekstil dan jenis mordan yang digunakan berpengaruh terhadap hasil kualitas pewarnaan yaitu arah warna, ketuaan warna dan ketahanan luntur terhadap pencucian.

Abstract

Kendal regency government committed to develop tourism, through batik as one of their local potentials. Situation analysis in two micro-scale industry partners identify that both locate in tourism destination area, however their competitiveness to support tourisms need to be enhanced. Their motif collections with typical Kendal were limited, as well as product diversification,and environment support. One of the industry use natural dyes with high dependence to other province cultivation and high cost, while the other need applied technology of souvenir batik crafts,batik packaging, and patterned batik fashion. Solution offered was tourism awareness and environment collaboration agenda to strengthen industries through training, workshops, and technical assistance in: (1) development of typical regional motif; (2) producing souvenirs and packaging; (3) batik patterned dress; (4) batik with natural dyes based on research; (5) excellent service and simple communication in English. Product exhibition was conducted at the end of project. The results of the implementation of the activities showed an increase in knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the drilled material, creative product quality, while all participants affirmed their satisfaction.

Abstract

The effort to preserve batik is to maintain the continuity of batik production. Coloring process is one of the important processes in batik production. In addition to the dyeing technique, there is a “colet” technique in batik coloring process. Colet technique is considered an efficient technique in saving coloring dyes. The colet process is still carried out without standards and does not consider ergonomic aspects. This study aims to analyze the risk level of batik workers posture in colet technique coloring process. This research is an observational study with data analysis using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Nordic Body Map (NBM). Based on the measurement, the risk level with the initial work posture has a score 9 and 7, which means the posture needs immediate corrective action to prevent occupational diseases. The implementation of Ergonomic “Colet” workbench is a way to improve work posture so the risk could be decreased, with score 4 both in standing and sitting working position.
