Abstract

Tourism destination management is crucial for ensuring visitors feel comfortable and are interested in returning. This study aims to analyze the influence of authenticity on tourist loyalty. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS. The sample was calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in 470 respondents. The analysis results show that authenticity also has a direct influence on tourist loyalty (Y), with positive coefficients of 0.195, 0.219, and 0.196, respectively. Overall, these findings contribute to the understanding of the influence of digital and cultural elements on tourist loyalty and emphasize the important role of social media in influencing tourist decisions. In addition, the authenticity of a tourist area must be maintained to ensure loyal tourists return to Lake Lau Kawar.

Abstract

The decline in the quality of a plantation company is often caused by various factors, both internal and external to the company itself. The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of engagement on leadership implementation and employee performance at PTPN IV Regional 1, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of leadership implementation. The analytical method used in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on SmartPLS version 4.1. The research population is all employees of PTPN IV Regional 1. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, and the sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula. This resulted in 391 employees from three employee groups at PTPN IV Regional 1, selected proportionally. The results indicate that engagement directly has a positive and significant effect on leadership implementation and employee performance. Furthermore, leadership implementation plays a significant role in mediating the relationship between the independent variables and employee performance, thereby strengthening the influence of organizational factors on performance. The implications of this study indicate that increasing engagement that supports innovation can strengthen leadership implementation at PTPN IV Regional 1, thereby improving employee performance and supporting the achievement of organizational goals.

Abstract

Incorrect marketing techniques can result in a decrease in consumer purchasing decisions. Marketing plays a crucial role in the business world. Therefore, it is crucial to examine the influence of risk perception on electronic word-of-mouth (EWOM) in North Sumatra. The risk perception variable serves as the independent variable, while electronic word-of-mouth serves as the intervening variable. This study employed a quantitative method, supported by extensive literature. All data from the variables were analyzed using structural equation modeling with a partial least squares approach, using SmartPLS software. The population consisted of online transaction users in North Sumatra. The sample size was 62 respondents. The analysis concluded that the influence of risk perception on electronic word-of-mouth (EWOM) in North Sumatra is positive and significant. Therefore, risk perception is crucial in enhancing all forms of communication, reviews, or testimonials about a product or service shared by consumers via the internet in North Sumatra.

Abstract

The low level of student trust in a product is caused by various factors. Although various studies have examined the factors that influence consumer behavioral intentions, there is still limited research that specifically explains the role of functional value in shaping students' behavioral intentions as digital-native consumers in the context of higher education in Indonesia. The low level of student trust in a product is caused by various factors. This study aims to examine the influence of functional value on students' behavioral intentions. This type of research is included in the associative or causal research category. The researchers selected 385 students from five universities. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire method, and the measurement scale in this study was a Likert scale with gradations from lowest to highest. The data analysis technique used was statistical analysis, namely the partial least squares structural equation model (PLS SEM). The results showed that functional value directly had a positive and significant influence on behavioral intentions, with a coefficient value of 0.410, indicating that the fifth hypothesis was accepted. This finding confirms the dominance of utilitarian considerations in shaping students' behavioral intentions as digital-native consumers.

Abstract

Lack of understanding regarding financial management traders has caused many MSMEs to close down. This research contributes to the growing literature on digital finance and MSME management by demonstrating that financial literacy acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between peer-to-peer (P2P) lending utilization and MSME performance. These findings expand the conceptual model, which has focused primarily on the direct impact of financing access on business performance, by demonstrating that the effectiveness of digital financing is significantly influenced by MSMEs' ability to understand, manage, and appropriately utilize financial resources. This study uses an explanatory research approach and in-depth literature study. This study employed a literature review as a data analysis method. The data sources used in this study consisted of secondary data. The data collection technique employed a comparison of research data from various journals and related sources. The results of this study indicate that peer-to-peer lending has a positive and significant effect on performance. Peer-to-peer lending also has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy of MSMEs in North Sumatra. Meanwhile, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME performance. In the indirect hypothesis, it was found that financial literacy mediates the influence between peer-to-peer lending and MSME performance. Therefore, it can be said that all variables influence the sustainability of MSMEs in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Competition among vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia, particularly Aviation Polytechnics, is intensifying, necessitating marketing strategies capable of building positive perceptions and trust among prospective students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between brand image, brand trust, and students' decisions to study at Aviation Polytechnics in Indonesia using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review process followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and included a search for related articles. The synthesis results indicate that a positive brand image, reflected in the institution's reputation, educational service quality, and other factors, increases prospective students' brand trust. Furthermore, brand trust has been shown to strengthen prospective students' confidence in making decisions about choosing a university. Furthermore, the synthesis indicates that brand trust acts as a mechanism explaining how brand image influences university choice decisions, although some studies have found that the influence of brand image can also occur directly depending on the characteristics of the institution and the research context. This study provides a theoretical contribution by integrating the concepts of brand image, brand trust, and university choice decisions within a higher education marketing framework.
