Abstract

Globalisasi mengandaikan hadirnya problem identitas sebagai isu utama yang menarik untuk dilakukan kajian. Tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan problem identitas itu, yang secara khusus berkenaan dengan refleksi identitas manusia Indonesia di era global. Dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif-reflektif, penelitian ini berusaha secara akademis mendeskripsikan data berupa teks dalam novel Burung-burung Rantau karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya, yang kemudian diikuti dengan proses merefleksikannya secara lebih dalam. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian ini menyatakan tiga hal sebagai temuannya. Pertama, transformasi manusia Indonesia di era global mengandaikan kesadaran transformatif yang dibutuhkan dalam rangka melakukan adaptasi dan strategi atas globalisasi yang dihadapi. Kedua, kesadaran atas dunia yang sedang berubah dan bergerak tersebut melahirkan kegalauan identitas bagi manusia Indonesia, yang pada proses berikutnya melakukan pencarian identitas sebagai akibat dari kegalauan atas identitas yang diterimanya. Ketiga, kesadaran bahwa manusia Indonesia adalah manusia pascanasional merupakan bentuk kesadaran transformatif. Sebagai implikasinya, menuntut manusia Indonesia memiliki sikap yang terbuka dalam interaksi global yang tidak dapat dihindarinya. Kata Kunci: Manusia Indonesia, refleksi identitas, era global, novelBurung-burung Rantau

Abstract

Sastra Timur Jawa dengan demikian, seperti yang dinyatakan oleh kurator, ia ingin memberikan penegasan iktikad untuk menangkap dan merefleksikan geliat kebudayaan yang terjadi di bagian timur pulau Jawa.[1] Sebuah geliat kebudayaan yang penting dicatat, tidak sekadar sebagai mozaik sejarah; melainkan sebagai penanda sejarah kebudayaan itu sendiri. Di ujung timur Jawa telah terserak (baca:tersebar) suatu kreativitas dengan kekhasan khasanah kreatif sastranya, yang mampu menempuh jalan kebudayaannya sendiri. Sebuah jalan kebudayaan yang tidak dimaksudkan sebagai sebentuk resistensi; melainkan sebagai bentuk konstruksi identitas bagi khasanah kesastraan yang di(ter-) diamkan.

Abstract

Penguatan ketahanan nasional dapat dilakukan dengan pembinaan    mental-ideologi kebangsaan.  Kegiatan tersebut mendesak untuk dilakukan karena di Indonesia marak semangat mikro-etnis nasionlisme   dan ideologi fundamentalis anti Pancasila yang berpoteni memecah belah negara. Salah satu upaya penguatan ketahan nasional itu adalah pendidikan karakter nasionalis-religius. Pendidikan tersebut menjadi tanggung jawab lembaga-lembaga pendidikan, termasuk perguruan tinggi. Kajian ini memaparkan upaya pendidikan karakter nasionalis-religius pada program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia.   Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan multidisipliner yakni pendidikan, kebudayaan, ketahanan nasioanal. Sasaran penelitian berupa pendidikan karakter nasionali-religius pada program studi pendidikan bahasa Indonesia di Universitas Jember. Data dialisis dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif-multidipliner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan  karakter  nasionalis-religius  untuk  mahasiswa  Pendidikan  Bahasa Indonesia di Universitas Jember terdapat pada (1) rencana pembelajaran yaitu pada (a) standard pembelajaran karakter, (b) “learning outcome” program studi, dan (c) silabus matakuliah, (2) materi ajar, dan (3) proses pembelajaran. Sementara, evaluasi pembelajaran masih kurang menekankan pendidikan karakter nasionalis-religius. Masih terdapat mahasiswa    yang cenderung “coba-coba atheis” 0,025% dan cenderung    religius-radikal  1%.  Untuk  mengatasi hal negatif tersebut  mahasiswa, program studi, dan universitas perlu bekerjasama secara terpadu.

didik untuk belajar bahasa Indonesia sekaligus mengembangkan sikap dan perilaku peduli terhadap lingkungan. Melalui metode dokumentasi, tulisan ini disajikan dengan tujuan memaparkan kompetensi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks di SMP dan mendeskripsikan teks dengan muatan pendidikan lingkungan berbasis kearifan lokal Osing serta penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat teks bermuatan pendidikan ekologi yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber materi pembelajaran beragam teks, seperti teks prosedur dan teks fabel. Dari teks-teks tersebut peserta didik, khususnya yang berlatar budaya Osing, dapat dibimbing dalam rangka menguasai kompetensi bahasa serta menumbuhkembangkan sikap dan perilaku peduli terhadap lingkungannya.

Abstract

This paper will present the dimensions of women in the context of environmental relations with culture, social interaction, and gender in the short story Pakoh Bumi Di Ujung Pertarungan by Nurillah Achmad. The interpretive descriptive method is used to analyze and interpret data from material objects. The superiority of the subsistence lifestyle of the main character that is highlighted in this short story is the traditional feminine behavior that is able to support efforts to save the piles. The data and data sources are in the form of words, sentences, and paragraphs that indicate the existence of women and the form of the domination of patriarchal culture towards gumuk and women in the short story. The results showed: (1) the form of the dominance of patriarchal culture on gumuk and women was found: gumuk transactions, (2) the subsistence lifestyle of the main character as an effort to save the gumuk was found: traditional feminine values.

Abstract

Abstract: The process of Islam transformation as a great religion however is massively received in Nusantara, recognized or not can bring its own problems for the local religion that has been long existed. In such cases, this study aims to describe the locality response of local religion in Java over the incessant process of the great religion transformation and diaspora. By the literature sociological approach, this study sought to describe the locality response as reflected in fiction Indonesia, namely Serat Darmogandul by K.R.T.Tandhanagara and novel Putri Cina by Sindhunata. By the analysis of genetic structuralism, the results of this study stated that that the process of transformation, the diaspora, and the response of the locality in the context of local religion in Java presupposelinearity pattern of cultural process for the cultural transition that occurred in Java. After the collapse of Majapahit who embrace Buddhism (the religion of Shiva-Buda religious/Java) who then turn to the rule of Islam in the Sultan of Demak, showing intertwined process between the dimension of power and religion. The intertwined process shows that the power dimensions and religiondimensions that seem inseparable; on the contrary, interwoven in their entirety. Therefore, the implications of this study are expected to contribute to the process of positioning the local religion more adequately in the context of the transformation and the religion diaspora that exists and keep going until today.

Abstract

This paper describes the phenomenon of ludruk wetanan in Jember which experienced institutional problems. Institutional problems include; the administrative system is still weak, the actor's regeneration system and actresses are weak, and the ludruk gamelan (musical instrument) is old. Therefore, this community partnership program is directed at addressing partner problems, which are focused on the three institutional issues. With the achievement of the three partner problems, it is expected that the ludruk group can face the competition in the entertainment market industry; including maintaining existence and permanence. For this reason, a method was developed to overcome the problems of the partners, namely by developing the capacity of an institutional system based on three pillars (system development based on three pillars); namely, a system of cooperation between the implementing parties (teams), target partner groups, and market participants to contribute to the institutional revitalization process. Therefore, the results of this service program cover three things. First, related to the revitalization of the administration system, the ludruk group is willing to work with the team to design and make the draft AD/ART as the basic foundation of the administrative system of the arts organization. Secondly, from the revitalization side of the generation, the Setia Kawan Jember ludruk group has carried out a regeneration system by carrying out structural arrangements, replacing Manager of ludruk followed by a fairly good pattern of division of tasks between skipper and vice-boss. Third, in terms of property revitalization, this Setia Kawan Jember group has done two things; namely making stage performances and repair/maintenance for the ludruk gamelan.

Abstract

This article describes a graphic design development program with the content of literary literacy in Sumbersari, Maesan, and Bondowoso villages. This activity was the second year agenda with the vision of creating a literacy-based convection village. This year, the team collaborated with the youth community of Sumbersari village, namely “Pusaka” (Pemuda Sumbersari Krajan) which consisted of 32 youngsters to develop the potential of the village in the convection field. The human resources in Krajan, Sumbersari were 13 tailors, 1 hijab convection, and 3 screen printing micro business. So far, these businesses were still traditional-domestic. Through target needs analysis, the business groups required product and business branding in order to compete in a wider market and increase their income. The team focused on collecting data and recruiting human resources by program socialization, product branding and additional graphic design skills training that aimed at increasing value and building product character, as well as capacity building in market services. The program was relatively successful because an industrial bag based on screen printing skills has been formed which was initiated by the team named “Pusaka Connection”. Pusaka Connection was the center for business production and marketing with the brand named "Boker (Bondowoso Keren)" which collaborated with other screen printing entrepreneurs and tailors in Krajan, Sumbersari. The flagship product of Pusaka Connection currently focused on era-sensitive t-shirts with the content of literary literacy of East Java. Through this program, it is hoped that in the next two years, the community will be able to develop the industry and be able to become a local convection industrial area like "Dagadu" in Yogyakarta and "Joger" in Bali. In addition to this activity article, the output of this program were training materials in the form of handbooks, activity videos on YouTube, and market places on Instagram and Shopee.

Abstract

Sufism are teachings in Islam about the search for truth by doing certain disciplines so as to the knowledge or understanding of God. This understanding of God can be accomplished by practicing through the stage of spiritual ascension, to the contemplation and deeper understanding of God. The concept of the spiritual ascension in the teachings of Sufism is called the maqam, while the meditation on God is called by things. Moreover, in the teachings of Sufism, one who has attained the highest level gains the privilege of God in the form of abilities that can not be done by ordinary people or so-called karomahs (As Sarraj, 1914: 17, Nicholson 1998: 99, Simuh 1997: 49 ). Sufism or tasawwuf teachings are not only taught through the books written by the Sufis, but also contained in literary works such as poetry and stories. Sufism in literature is one way to teach the values of the teachings of Sufism. This is useful for the reader to introspect themselves to be a good human being. The reader can gain a deeper insight and appreciation of the teachings of religion. An example is the reader learns to live and contemplate the Sufi expression in poetry or the sufistic behavior of the story. Such behavior is usually a person's struggle to achieve the highest degree or level in God's eyes. To accomplish that one must cleanse his heart from disgraceful qualities.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dirancang sebagai skema pengabdian desa binaan yang difokuskan pada pengembangan eduwisata berbasis literasi bahari. Program ini dilaksanakan di desa Kedungrejo, Kecamatan Muncar, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Desa Kedungrejo merupakan desa nelayan yang penduduknya sebagian besar aktivitas kehidupannya bersentuhan dengan bahari. Dengan bermitra bersama “Rumah Baca Ikan” program ini dikembangkan untuk skema eduwisata melalui pengembangan kerajinan tangan (handycraft) dengan berbagai bahan dan permainan tradisional. Pengembangan program eduwisata seperti ini selain bermanfaat untuk memperkaya khasanah pengetahuan masyarakat dan pengembangan pengetahuan anak-anak berbasis bahari; lebih dari itu, juga diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian desa binaan ini dilaksanakan selama dua tahun, dengan tujuan: pada tahun pertama, diarahkan untuk pengembangan karya kerajinan tangan dengan berbagai varian produk, misalnya pemanfaatan bahan papan kayu dan kertas yang dapat difungsikan untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi bahari. Program ini merupakan program tahun pertama dari skema dua tahun program. Adapun metode pelaksanaan program Hibah Pengabdian Desa Binaan ini dengan metode partisipatori rural apprasial (PRA) melalui kegiatan survei potensi dan identifikasi masalah, focus Group Discussion (FGD), workshop dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan pada program tahun pertama ini mampu dikembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi bahari, berupa replika perahu, media gambar ikan, dan media gambar bentang alam bahari. Media tersebut digunakan untuk belajar bersama dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis literasi bahari. Oleh karena itu, program ini diharapkan mampu memberikan manfaat dalam skala yang lebih luas bagi pengembangan pendidikan/pembelajaran untuk anak-anak di tingkat SD di luar daerah Muncar.
