Abstract

This research uses the Polya problem-solving procedure to describe students' difficulty in problem-solving in the material about systems of linear equations in two variables. The method in this research is descriptive research. The subjects in this research were three students in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. The data analysis techniques used are data presentation, data reduction and conclusion. The results of this research show that of the four stages of Polya problem solving, students who have the highest scores can fulfil all stages of Polya problem solving, students who have medium scores can fulfil three stages of Polya problem solving, and students who have high scores can fulfil two stages of Polya problem-solving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuannuntuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswaayang menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL pada materi aritmetika sosial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Kristen Kulur pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian yanggdigunakan adalah eksperimen “One Group Pretest-Posttest”. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas VII dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang yang merupakan kelas perlakuan. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai tes adalah soal essay yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan Uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh =6,284 > = 1,686. Dengan nilai rata-rata posttest 81,5 di atas KKM 71. Dengan demikian diputuskan bahwa menerima H1 yang berarti pembelajaran materi aritmetika sosial dengannmenggunakan model pembelajaran PBL lebih dari KKM.

Abstract

Abstrak Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui apakah rata-rata hasil belajar Pola Bilangan siswa SMP Negeri 6 Tondano yang diajar dengan menggunakan model PBL lebih dari siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model DI. Jenis penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Posttest Only Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 6 Tondano pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Subjek penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 6 Tondano pada dua kelas, yang mana kelas A menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas B menjadi kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis berbentuk essay (uraian) setelah pembelajaran berakhir (post-test). Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata dua kelompok yang tidak berpasangan. Berdasarkan data hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen dan di kelas kontrol, terlihat bahwa perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen pada materi Pola Bilangan sebesar 83,15 lebih dari perolehan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol yang sebesar 77,05. dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar Pola Bilangan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning lebih dari siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model Direct Instruction.

Abstract

Learning activities are not as usual due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With several reasons that become shortcomings and limitations for carrying out teaching and learning, the handling of this pandemic makes students have to study online. This study was conducted to determine whether there were differences in student outcomes in online and offline SPLDV materials during the new order. The data for this study used samples from class VIIIA and B of SMP Negeri 4 Tondano. The instrument used is an essay test which is carried out online and offline at different times and places and documentation. From the data analysis of the research results, the average posttest results obtained by the experimental class was 80.46 while for the control class it was 76.26. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test at the real level =0.05, it was obtained tcount=1,757 and ttable=t((0,05.45))=1,679. Because thitung=1,757 and ttabel=t((0,05.45))=1,679 the statistic value falls in the critical area, so reject H0 and accept H1. It can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes in the SPLDV material which is carried out online and offline.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher when practicing the jigsaw type cooperative model with the help of question cards (karsol) media in statistics learning at SMP Negeri 1 Tabukan, South Tengah. This learning model aims for a study plan involving students collaborating to achieve the mission and concurrently organize a group of experts who are taken from each initial group and are expected to become experts in the material they carry, then return to the initial group to teach the expert material to their group mates. In the translation of the data, the author uses the t-test. from the results of the translation of experimental data with n = 10, it is obtained that t_count = 10.38268, and t table = 1.81246 for = 0.05. Because t_hitung = 10.38268 > t_table = 1.81246, it is concluded that the average student learning outcomes by applying the jigsaw type cooperative model with the help of question card media are higher than the KKM value set at SMP Negeri 1 Tabukan, South Tengah. So the use of this learning model has a positive influence, namely, it can improve student learning outcomes.
