Abstract

Concrete's drawback is its low tensile strength and heavy weight, which may exceed 2400 kg/m3. The significance of self-weight in building construction is essential, particularly when dealing with seismic loads. The larger the inertial force from the weight of the structure itself, the greater the inertial force from the weight of the building itself, therefore lightweight concrete can provide an opportunity to lower its own weight with a smaller unit weight of 1850 kg/m3. Fly ash was employed as a substitute for cement in this investigation, while pumice was used as a substitute for coarse aggregate. The goal of this research was to establish the unit weight, compressive strength, and workability/slump value of concrete. In this investigation, 30% of the fly ash was utilized. Pumice is determined at 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of coarse aggregate. The SN sample has the highest slump value of 8.8. However, the slump value continued to fall with the addition of pumice. The use of larger pumice stone results in   a reduction in the volume weight of concrete up to 1845 kg/m3, permitting it to be classified as lightweight concrete. Pumice has been demonstrated to diminish strength by 11% on average for every 5% replacement

Abstract

Utilization of waste materials as building materials is a solution to reduce waste materials that exist in nature.Fly ash as a waste product from coal combustion contains silica which can be used to increase the compressivestrength of concrete/mortar. Paving Block as a building material made of mortar composition can be increasedits compressive strength by substituting some cement material with fly ash. Fine aggregate material in the formof sand can also be substituted with natural limestone waste material. In this study, paving blocks were madeusing limestone as a substitute for fine aggregate and fly ash as a cement substitute. The ratio of materials formaking paving blocks is 1: 4. For variations of substitution materials, fly ash is used as a cement substitution.The variation of fly ash is 20% and while the limestone waste is used variations of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%.The compressive strength test was carried out at the age of 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days. The results of the studyof compressive strength at the age of 7 days obtained a value of 12.24 MPa at a natural limestone substitutionconcentration of 20.7%. For the age of 14 days the compressive strength value is 15.27 MPa with an optimumconcentration of 20.1% at the concentration of natural limestone, while at the age of 28 days the compressivestrength value is 17.11 MPa, with the optimum concentration of natural limestone material being 20. .15%. Theincrease in compressive strength from the optimum mixture to the normal mixture was 28.93%. Based on SNI 03-0691-1996 the paving blocks produced in this study include Quality B.

Abstract

Beton merupakan bahan bangunan populer yang diakui kekuatan dan daya tahannya. Para peneliti telah mengeksplorasi penggunaan superplasticizer dan gel C-S-H untuk meningkatkan kualitas beton . Superplasticizer adalah bahan tambahan kimia yang dapat ditambahkan ke campuran beton untuk meningkatkan fluiditas sekaligus menjaga kekuatan. Hal ini memudahkan pemasangan dan meningkatkan kemampuan kerja beton. Selain itu, menambahkan gel C-S-H ke beton dapat meningkatkan kinerja jangka panjang dan meminimalkan retak. Formasi gel C-S-H pada kekuatan dan daya tahan beton diselidiki secara cermat dalam studi ini dengan melakukan pengujian foto SEM EDS. Pemindaian Mikroskop Elektron-Spektroskopi Sinar-X Dispersi Energi adalah alat analisis yang kuat untuk menentukan komposisi unsur dan bentuk bahan berskala nano. Ini menyelidiki permukaan material dengan berkas elektron terfokus dan menghasilkan sinyal yang dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memetakan distribusi komponen yang ada. Hasil Uji SEM-EDS menunjukkan Unsur senyawa Ca, Al dan Si mendominasi. Rasio Oksida SiO2/CaO yang tinggi pada sampel cenderung memiliki kuat tekan yang lebih tinggi. Sebaliknya, material dengan rasio SiO2/CaO yang lebih rendah menunjukkan kuat tekan yang lebih rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang ditanamkan di Madrasah Aliyah Sunan Ampel Kraton Pasuruan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Instrumen penelitian yaitu berupa pedoman observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan langkah-langkah berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan, pengujian keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang ditanamkan yaitu keikhlasan, kedisiplinan, amanah, tawadhu’, dan istiqomah; 2) proses internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dilakukan pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung maupun diluar pembelajaran dan juga melalui kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan dan pembiasaan sekolah seperti istighosah, sholat dhuha, sholat dhuhur berjamaah, dan hafalan surah-surah pendek Al-Qur’an; dan 3) dampak internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk akhlak mulia siswa adalah terbiasa melaksanakan ibadah, terbentuknya akhlak al-karimah siswa, keakraban dengan teman yang lain, memiliki kepedulian terhadap orang lain yang terkena musibah, bersikap toleran, dan taat peraturan.

Abstract

Pasien skizofrenia tingkat kecemasannya sering meningkat di karenakan masalah pada psikosis yaitu ketidakseimbangan antara imajinasi, emosi, pemikiran dengan realita yang sebenarnya sehingga merasa dirinya melihat, mendengar, ataupun merasakan sesuatu yang tidak benar adanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh terapi relaksasi progresif terhadap tingkat kecemasan pada klien skizofrenia di Yayasan Griya Cinta Kasih Jombang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre experimental design dengan pendekatan One group pre test-post test design. Populasi sebanyak 60 klien, menggunakan teknik sampling Purposive sampling didapatkan sebanyak 52 klien. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kuesioner HRS-A. Setelah ditabulasi data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan signifikasi P<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum diberi terapi dari 52 klien lebih dari sebagian besar mengalami cemas sedang (54%). Setelah diberi terapi hampir sebagian mengalami cemas sedang (48%). Dari hasil uji Wilcoxon di atas dengan nilai signifiksi p sign = 0,008 dan nilai Z=-2,646. yang artinya ada pengaruh teknik relaksasi progresif terhadap tingkat kecemasan pada klien skizofrenia di Yayasan Griya Cinta Kasih Jombang. Untuk mengatasi masalah kecemasan, salah satu alternative yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan teknik relaksasi progresif.

Abstract

Background: Chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis commonly experience excess fluid volume in the body. It is necessary to provide media which can be independently employed by the patients to control body fluids and prevent fluid overload. The purpose of the study is to develop an android-based application "Sabahat Dialisis", as well as conducting validity test, reliability test, and application usage tests on users. Methods: This research utilized a Research and Development (R&D) design consisting of two stages. In Stage 1, an Android-based application was developed and its validity and reliability were assessed by five experts in dialysis. Stage 2 involved conducting trials of the application with 30 chronic renal failure patients in the Dialysis Unit to evaluate its usability. Results: The application component proved to be valid (I-CVI=1) and reliable (Cronbach’s alpha=0.768). The results of the application use trial on 30 hemodialysis patients indicated that 83.3% considered the application easy to understand, the menu/features were easy to use and operate (83.4%: 86.7%), 76.7% of users were satisfied with the application, the application was useful, in accordance with the needs of hemodialysis patients, and easy to learn (90%), 86.7% were easy to operate, and 76.7% recommended the application for use in hemodialysis patients. Conclusion: Sahabat Dialisis application is valid, reliable, and usable for chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis to control fluid in the body and avoid fluid overload.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypoglycemia is a medical emergency requiring immediate intervention as it can lead to fatalities. One of the initial treatments for hypoglycemia out of hospital settings is the administration of sweet food and drinks. This research aims to analyze the difference in blood glucose level increase between respondents given date juice and those given sugarcane juice.  Methods: A quasi-experimental two-group pretest-posttest design was conducted in March 2024, involving 92 students divided into 2 groups (Intervention Group: 46; Control Group: 46) recruited through purposive sampling. Both groups were asked to fast for 14 hours, followed by blood glucose measurement (pretest), and then given date juice (intervention group) and sugarcane juice (control group). Blood glucose post-test was conducted at 15 and 30 minutes after intervention with a glucometer, and data were analyzed using ANOVA (α≤0.05).  Results: The study indicated an increase in blood glucose levels after date juice intake at 15 minutes with a mean of 129.83 mg/dl (p=0.000), followed by a decrease in mean blood glucose from 15 to 30 minutes by 21.7. There was an increase in blood glucose levels after sugarcane juice intake at 15 minutes with a mean of 131.17 mg/dl, followed by a decrease in mean blood glucose from 15 to 30 minutes by 19.8. Statistically, there was no difference in blood glucose increase between the two groups at both 15 minutes (p=0.633) and 30 minutes (p=0.347). Conclusion: Date juice and sugarcane juice similarly increase blood glucose levels and can be used as out-of-hospital therapies for conscious hypoglycemic patients.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penyakit diabetes mellitus yang tidak bisa disembuhkan secara total sering berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup. Terapi progressive muscle relaxation dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi PMR (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) terhadap kualitas hidup pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2.Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimental dengan pendekatan pre-post test control group design dengan simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel 50 orang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol masing-masing 25 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RS Muhammadiyah Lamongan tahun 2015. Alat ukur menggunakan DQOL (Diabetes Quality of Life) untuk kualitas hidup. Analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat, bivariat menggunakan uji t, uji t tidak berpasangan, uji korelasi pearson & spearman. Faktor confounding dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana.Hasil analisis kualitas hidup dengan uji t pada kelompok perlakuan nilai p=0,000 dan kelompok kontrol p=0,098. Perbedaan kualitas hidup pada kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol p=0,076. Faktor confounding yang berhubungan yaitu pendidikan dengan kualitas hidup p=0,027.Terapi progressive muscle relaxation efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien DM tipe 2. Tetapi tidak terdapat perbedaan kualitas hidup antara kelompok yang telah diberikan terapi progressive muscle relaxation dengan kelompok yang diberikan penyuluhan. Terapi progressive muscle relaxation dapat dimasukkan kedalam intervensi keperawatan pada pelayanan rumah sakit. Kata Kunci: Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2, Kualitas Hidup, Terapi Progressive Muscle Relaxation ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus which can’t be cured completely often impact on the quality of life. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy can improve the quality of life of patients. This study aims to determine the effect of PMR therapy (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) on the quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Quasy-experimental design with the approach of pre-posttest control group design with simple random sampling. This study conduct in Muhammadiyah Hospital Lamongan in 2015. Number of samples 50 people were divided into two treatment groups and control each 25 people. Quality of life is measured using DQOL (Diabetes Quality of Life).Results of the analysis of the quality of life by t test on the value of the treatment group and the control group p 0.000 p 0.098. Differences in the quality of life in the treatment group and the control p 0.076. Confounding factors associated with quality of life: education p 0.027. Progressive muscle relaxation therapy is effective to improve the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes in the treatment group. But there is no difference in quality of life between progressive muscle relaxation therapy groups with group counseling group. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini mencoba memanfaatkan campuran limbah fly ash dan SEC (Electrocoagulation of Sludge) menjadi material yang berguna untuk digunakan sebagai bahan penyusun paving block. Selama ini, limbah SEC dari pabrik tekstil hanya dikumpulkan sebagai bahan yang tidak berguna, sehingga memanfaatkan penggunaan material limbah ini menjadi lebih penting dalam rangka pengurangan limbah padat pada lingkungan sekitar. Untuk meningkatkan kuat tekan paving block, campuran fly ash, yang merupakan bahan limbah industri yang tidak dimanfaatkan. Komposisi campuran fly ash pada nilai 20% sedang komposisi variasi SEC sebesar 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25%. Pada masing-masing kondisi dibuat 9 benda uji dengan pembagian masing-masing 3 benda uji untuk pengujian 7 hari, 28 hari dan 56 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan konsentrasi SEC makin tinggi akan mengurangi kuat tekan dan mutu paving block. Namun untuk variasi limbah SEC sebesar 5% masih dapat digunakan untuk campuran dengan target mutu pavingblock B. Penurunan nilai kuat tekan dikarenakan adanya pengaruh unsur karbon (C) dalam limbah SEC. Secara visual, Benda uji dengan kandungan SEC tinggi akan terlihat basah, dan mengalami proses pengeringan yang lama, hal ini dikarenakan SEC memiliki sifat menangkap air, dan sulit menguapkan air.Kata kunci: sludge, limbah tekstil, elektrokoagulasi, fly ash, pavingblock ABSTRACTThis research tries to utilize a mixture of fly ash waste and SEC (Electrocoagulation of Sludge) into a useful material to be used as a paving block material. So far, SEC waste from textile factories has only been collected as useless material, so making use of this waste material has become more important in order to reduce solid waste in the surrounding environment. To increase the compressive strength of paving blocks, mix fly ash, which is an unused industrial waste material. The composition of the fly ash mixture is 20%, while the SEC variation composition is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. In each condition, 9 test objects were made, divided into 3 test objects each for 7 days, 28 days and 56 days testing. The research results show that adding a higher SEC concentration will reduce the compressive strength and quality of the paving block. However, a 5% variation in SEC waste can still be used for a mixture with a paving block quality target of B. The decrease in compressive strength is due to the influence of the carbon element (C) in SEC waste. Visually, test objects with a high SEC content will appear wet, and undergo a long drying process, this is because SEC has the property of capturing water, and is difficult to evaporate water.Keywords: sludge, textile waste, electrocoagulation, fly ash, paving block

Abstract

This study examines the impact of social recommendations by colleagues who also act as influencers, product quality, and price factors on consumer decisions in buying Skintific beauty products in Cirebon City. With a quantitative approach, this study involved 210 respondents, where data was collected through an online survey and analyzed using SPSS software through multiple linear regression techniques, validity tests, reliability, and hypothesis testing. The findings emphasize that social proof has a major role to play in purchasing decisions, followed by product quality and price. Therefore, it is recommended for Skintific marketers to maximize social evidence-based marketing strategies, improve product quality, and set prices that match consumer value perceptions to drive purchase decisions
