Abstract

Clash of clans online game recently gain much attention from many people. Many research convinced that online game have negative effects on employee performance. Playing online game at work is not discouraged there is evidence that work hours increases productivity and that online game can be beneficial. This research is designed to clearer image and deeper understanding that online game could reduce stress while break hours. The method used in this research is the qualitative research methodology with case study research approach which will provide a descriptive insight about clash of clans online game and its relation with employee performance. The data for this research were gathered from observation, interviews, and documents, with 10 people participant in PT. Honda Remaja Jaya Mobilindo to get a comprehension about clash of clans online game. In the finding, there are several perspective about clash of clans online game but the main point is playing clash of clans online game in break hours could reduce stress. The employee should use break time to playing online game in order for reduce stress in work place.   Keywords: clash of clans, game online, employee performance

Abstract

Humans have many needs and wants that they must fulfill in his life. Motorcycles is one requirement that must be met to be used as a means of transportation. Male and female have their own criteria for selecting the type of motorcycle they want. Male and female have different decision-making to buy a motorcycle. The method used in this research is the method of comparative data, collecting data through questionnaires, data analysis methods (validity and reliability), hypothesis testing and independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant difference between male and female in the purchasing behavior of consumers towards Yamaha Mio. Yamaha Mio sellers should consider offering their products for men and women differently. Keywords: decision making, consumer purchase behavior

Abstract

Abstract: This research titled: The Influence Of Change Management And Organizational Culture To Employee Performance Study At Sam Ratulangi University Rectorate. This study aims to determine the impact of change management and organizational culture on employee performance simultaniously and partially. Total sample are 75 respondents. The research was conducted at Sam Ratulangi University Rectorate office in Manado City North Sulawesi Province. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The results showed that, change management has significant and positive impact on employee performance, change management become the highest impact factor to employee performance compare other variable in this research. Organizational culture has significant and positive impact on employee performance, organizational culture become the lowest impact factor to employee performance compare other variable. Suggestion of this research is Sam Ratulangi University in order to improve the employee performance of this organization should focus first of all on the change management also the organizational culture as the proxy of employee performance. Keywords: change management, organizational culture, employee performance

Abstract

Abstract: The Wheel of Life of an employee is one important concept that can easily be put off balance by the quality of work and work related stress. Effective communication also plays a vital role in the company that can influence the employee’s productivity. Productivity increases when your employees are satisfied with their jobs and with the level of communication they receive from management. In north Sulawesi, PT. Hasrjat Abadi has several branches office which is located in different region, one of the branches is CV. Kombos. This research aim to know about the influence of workload, job stress, and effective communication toward employees’ productivity. This research is using a multiple regression analysis with total population is 50 employees at CV. Kombos Manado. The result shows that workload and effective communication are significantly influence the employees’ productivity. Meanwhile, job stress isn’t significantly influence the employees’ productivity. The company should keep added the something that can keep the productivity of the employee positively increase, like hire a professional team leader. Abstract

Abstract: Quality of Work Life is all the original inputs which aim at improving the employee’s satisfaction and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The sample size of this research is 36 employees that currently working in Bank SulutGo Branch Office in Amurang. The result of this study shows that the indicators of each variables such as Adequate and Fair Compensation placed in Quadrant II, Safe and Healthy Working Conditions placed in Quadrant I, Immediate Opportunity of Use and Develop Human Capacities placed in Quadrant I and II, Future Opportunity for Continued Growth and Security placed in Quadrant III, Social Integration in the Work Organization placed in Quadrant II, Constitutionalism in the Work Organization placed in Quadrant I and III, Work and the Total Life Space placed in Quadrant III, the Social Relevance of Work Life placed in Quadrant II. So based on the findings in this research, there are some recommendation for Bank SulutGo Branch Office in Amurang.Keywords: quality of work life, human resource management, importance performance analysis.

Abstract

Many company must have the own competitive advantage in order to survive in its environment, actually after the global economic crisis. To keep survive and living in that global competition, commonly every company has built their own strategies as well as gather a profit maximization. Over the past decade, merger, acquisition, spin-off and other forms of expansion in operations have declined sharply, and many conglomerates have resorted to downsizing and focusing their businesses on their core competencies Some corporate take the spin-off decision to gain the more benefit. The purpose of this research is to analyze whether there is significant difference on financial performance of PT. BNI Tbk (Persero) before and after spin-off with PT. BNI Syariah in 2010. This research is comparative study. This current research has used judgment sampling method. This research concern on BNI spin-off in 2010, and then the research needs three years data before and three years data after 2010. The Paired Samples T-Test is deployed to accomplish the research’s objectives. From nine variables that have been tested with this research’s tools, six of those variables show the significant different after BNI did spin-off, and three of them show there is no significant different. PT. BNI Tbk (Persero) should concern about a spin-off policy, since there is a significant difference on ROA, ROE, current ratio, CAR, OEOI and EPS before and after spin-off. Abstract

Abstract: Banking is one of sectors that drive the economy in Indonesia. One of them is Regional Development Bank that is scattered throughout Indonesia, each have different performance based on the state of the region itself. Judging from the character of Indonesia is an agricultural country, of course, the economic character formed historically, geographical conditions also have an important role in the economy of a region. PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua is a Go Public bank located in eastern Indonesia. This study aims to determine the differences in financial performance between PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua by using RBBR method analysis. The method of this research is comparative analysis. The results show the financial performance seen from ROA there is no a significant difference, whereas if viewed from NPL, LDR, GCG, NIM, and CAR there are a significant difference. PT. Bank SulutGo and PT. Bank Papua management should not only satisfied with the results already obtained and continue to improve the company's performance in order to further increase in the future.Keywords: financial performance, regional development bank, rbbr method

Abstract

Abstract: Human need to consume food to get energy in their daily activities. The development of franchise fast food restaurant is now growing rapidly and become very interesting phenomena in the Manado market. One of the fast-food restaurants are growing in Manado is Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences between male and female customers of KFC in Manado determined from factors such as Perceived Price, Perceived Quality and Perceived Value. This research conducted by a quantitative method and the sample of this research is 100 respondents of KFC in Manado divided by 50 males and 50 females. By using an Independent Sample t-test, the result shows that there is significant difference between male and female customers in Perceived Price meanwhile there is no significant difference between male and female customers in Perceived Quality and Perceived Value. Based on the results, The Company should be more critical and more pay attention in order to re-structure their pricing strategy to compete with other fast food restaurants and just has to keep maintaining and improving the quality and value of the product/service to attract more new customers and to keep the loyal customers. ­­Keywords: perceived price, perceived quality, perceived value, independent sample t-test

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Modal, Non Performing Loan, Capital Adequacy Ratio, dan Return On Equity terhadap  Harga Saham Perusahan Perbankan Pada Indeks LQ45 dalam pengamatan  tahun 2011-2015. Populasi yang terdapat pada indeks LQ45 sebanyak 45 perusahaan. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 (lima) perusahaan Perbankan Pada Indeks LQ45 dalam pengamatan 2011 samai dengan 2015 dengan purposive sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dan metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis regresi untuk menguji pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Dengan uji t untuk melihat t pengaruh parsial, uji F untuk melihat pengaruh simultan dan koefisien determinasi untuk melihat kemampuan variabel bebas dalam menjelaskan variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Ukuran Perusahaan dan Non Performing Loan secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Harga Saham, sedangkan Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Modal, Non Performing Loan, Capital Adequacy Ratio, dan Return On Equity secara simultan memiliki pengaruh terhadap Harga Saham. Kata Kunci: Ukuran Perusahaan, Struktur Modal, Non Performing Loan (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Equity (ROE), Harga Saham.

Abstract

Brand equity is an intangible value of brand that may lead to premium pricing. Nowadays, there are so many coffee shops in Manado, whether they are traditional or modern ones. Each coffee shop has their own popularity that makes the competition within the industry even tighter day by day, including Starbucks which is known for having high brand equity. The study aimed to analyze the effect of brand equity on consumer buying behavior in Starbucks Manado Town Square (MTS). This research was done by using quantitative method, and processed using multiple regression analysis. The data were gathered from 100 respondents. The result shows that all the variables of brand equity simultaneously influence the consumer buying behavior in Starbucks Manado Town Square. Brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand loyalty have significant and positive influence on consumer buying behavior in Starbucks Manado Town Square, whereas brand association has no significant and positive influence on consumer buying behavior in Starbucks Manado Town Square. For the company management, it is recommended to improve brand equity so it can be the first choice of coffee shop in consumers’ mind.   Keywords: brand equity, brand awareness, consumer buying behavior
