Abstract

The experiment was carried out in Karangbungur Village, Buahdua, Sumedang at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level. The experiment was carried out from July to August 2020. The aim of the experiment was to determine and study the effect of the interaction between the composition of the husk charcoal growing media and sheep manure on the grafting growth of avocado (Persea americana Mill.) Sindangreret variety. The experimental design used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors and repeated 3 times. The first factor is husk charcoal (a) consisting of 3 levels, namely a0 (0 t ha-1) a1 (9 t ha-1) a2 (18 t ha-1). The second factor is sheep manure consisting of 3 levels, namely b0 (0 t ha-1) b1 (9 t ha-1) b2 (18 t ha-1). The results showed that there was an interaction with root volume and no interaction with shoot emergence time, shoot length (4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 weeks after connection), number of leaves (6, 7, and 8 weeks after connection), and the percentage of live connections.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk organik cair urin kelinci terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil serta mengetahui dosis terbaik terhadap tanaman pakcoy varietas nauli F1. Percobaan dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran (Balitsa), Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Percobaan dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sampai dengan November, menggunakan rancangan eksperimen RAK sederhana dengan 6 perlakuan (dosis urin) yaitu: 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, dan 50 ml/tanaman dan diulangi sebanyak 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya dosis urin yang berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil. Dosis terbaik pada pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman umur 21 HST dan 28 HST, jumlah daun umur 28 HST, luas daun 14 HST, serta pada bobot per tanaman dan bobo per petak umur 28 HST). Dosis terbaik ditunjukan oleh perlakuan E dan F dengan dosis sebanyak 40 ml tanaman-1 dan 50 ml tanaman-1. Dosis terbaik ditunjukan pada perlakuan 40 dan 50 ml/tanaman.

Abstract

To ensure adequate nutrition for the growth of maize (Zea mays L.) in sustainable agriculture, it is necessary to apply bio-agent soil conditioner and manure. This study aims to determine the effect of doses of bioagent-ameliorant and chicken manure on growth and yield components. The research was conducted in highland with an altitude 800 m above sea level. This study used an experimental method with two sets of experiments, namely experiments using one and two-cobs maize cultivars. The experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with two treatment factors and three replications. The first treatment factor was the dose of bioagent ameliorant, which consisted of 3 levels, namely 0, 7.5, and 15 kg/ha, while the second factor was the dose of chicken manure, which consisted of 3 levels, namely 0.5 and 10 tons/ha. The observed growth components were plant height and number of leaves, while the yield components observed were cob length, cob diameter, cob weight per plant, and cob weight per plot. In research on two-cob maize experiment, there was no interaction effect between doses of soil conditioner and chicken manure, while the interaction effect on plant height occurred in one-cob maize experiment. The single effect of ameliorant doses could not increase all components of growth and yield, both in one and two-cob maize cultivars. The single effect of doses of chicken manure increased number of leaves, cob length, cob weight per plant, and cob weight per plot in one-cob maize cultivar, while increased plant height in two-cob maize cultivar.

Abstract

Experimental research conducted at the office of the Sub-Unit of Pest and Disease Control Laboratories, Kalijati District, Subang Regency. The altitude of 76-100 m above sea level was carried out from March to July 2021. This study aimed to determine the effect of various compositions of vegetable insecticide powders (turmeric, pepper, Javanese chili) on the development of Callosobruchus chinensi L. and the germination of mung bean (Vigna radiata L.) seeds. ). environmental design using a completely randomized design (RAK) basic pattern, consisting of A = no powder/control; B= Turmeric; C= Pepper, D = Chili Java; E= Turmeric+Pepper; F= Turmeric + Javanese Chili; G = Pepper + Chili Java; H = Turmeric + Pepper + Chili Java ; I = Synthetic Insectica. The results showed that the combination of botanical insecticides had a significant effect on mortality at 7 DAP and, the number of eggs aged 7 DAP, 21 DAP, and 35 DAP, the number of imago, the number of larvae, the number of pupae, the percentage of seed damage, the percentage of seed weight and germination. The use of plant-based insecticides in general emphasizes the development of Callosobrucus chinensis L on the observation of mortality at the age of 7 DAP and, the number of eggs aged 7 DAP, 21 DAP, and 35 DAS, the number of imago, the number of larvae, the number of pupae as well as suppressing the level of damage to seeds, seed weight and germination

Abstract

The experiment was carried out in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Garut which is located in the Lab of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Garut. This experiment was carried out from August to November 2022. The method used in this study was a factorial complete randomized design (CRD) method consisting of 2 factors, namely the concentration of auxin Growth Regulatory Substance/IBA (A) and the concentration of Cytokinin Growth Regulatory Substance/BAP (B). factor was the growth regulator auxin (A), which consisted of three concentration levels: a1 = 0 mg L-1, a2 = 0.5 mg L-1, a3 = 1 mg L-1. The second factor was cytokinin growth regulators (B) with 3 concentration levels, namely b1 = 0 mg L-1, b2 = 3 mg L-1, b3 = 6 mg L-1. This study consisted of 9 treatment combinations and each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so there were 27 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 3 bottles, each bottle consisted of 1 explant, so that the total explants required were 81 seed embryo explants. The day the roots appeared showed that the treatment factor A (IBA) at level b1 showed a1 was significantly different from a2 and a3. Treatment factor A at levels b2 and b3 showed that a1 was not significantly different from a2 and a3. Treatment factor B (BAP) at level a1 showed b1 was significantly different from b2 and b3, b2 was not significantly different from b3. Treatment factor B at levels a2 and a3 showed b1, b2 and b3 were not significantly different. Based on the results of statistical analysis of the number, height shows that treatment factor A (IBA) at level b1 shows no significant difference a1, a2 and a3. Treatment factor B (BAP) on number, height, diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of shoots at level a1 showed that b1 was not significantly different from b2 and b3, b2 was not significantly different from b3. Based on the results of statistical analysis of shoot diameter, it showed that treatment factor A (IBA) at level b2 showed that a1 was significantly different from a2 and a3. The best interaction for the parameter of shoot diameter occurred in the combination of treatments a1 and b2, namely IBA 0 mg L-1 (control) and BAP 3 mg L-1 (4.22 mm)

Abstract

This experiment aims to study the agronomic appearance of three genotypes of red chili plants in Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. The research method used was an experimental method with a Simple Group Random Design (RAK), with three treatments repeated nine times. The data was analyzed with various fingerprints and continued with the Duncan Multiple Distance Test. The test material consisted of three genotypes of red chili, namely one of the new superior variety candidates, and two varieties belonging to the Agricultural Research and Development Institute, namely (Tanjung 2 and Carvi Agriagrihorti).The test was carried out in Sukamantri, Ciamis Regency with an altitude of 1300 m above sea level (above sea level) from May 2021 to October 2021. Observations were made on the characteristics of plant growth including, plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width and yield characteristics which include fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per plot, and fruit weight per hectare. The test results showed that there were differences in agronomic appearance between the three genotypes tested. The LV-037556 genotype displays the best plant growth, including plant height, stem diameter, leaf length and leaf width. The characteristics of the results of the three genotypes showed the best fruit weight per hectare (LV-037556 = 7.89 tons ha-1, compared to Tanjung 2 variety = 6.15 tons ha-1, Carvi variety = 5.84 tons ha-1

Abstract

This research was conducted from May to September 2022 in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor District, Sumedang Regency, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. This study aims to study the interaction between the application of nutrient solution to the leaves and the type of fertilizer on the growth and yield of large red chili (Capsicum annum L.) Baja F1 variety. The Environmental Design used a Split plot design consisting of two treatments which were repeated 4 times. The main plot was application of nutrient solution to leaves (F) which consisted of two levels: f0 (without application) and f1 (application of nutrient solution to leaves every 10 days). Subplots were the fertilization technology (M) which consisted of four levels: m0 (nutrient solution), m1 (4 tons ha-1 cow compost), m2 (6 kg ha-1 bioamelioran) and m3 (4 tons ha-1 amelioran plus) ). The experimental results showed an interaction between the application of nutrient solution to leaves and the type of fertilizer on growth (plant height 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, number of leaves 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP, stem diameter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 WAP) and yield (number of fruits per plant and weight per fruit) of chili plants. Application of nutrient solution to leaves and bioamelioran showed the best results on growth (plant height at 2, 3, 4, and 5 WAP, number of leaves at 1, 2, 3 and 4 WAP, stem diameter 4 and 5 WAP) and yield of chili plants ( number of fruits per plant). The type of amelioran plus fertilizer without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves gave the best results on the growth of chili plants (plant height at 1 WAP, number of leaves at 5 WAP, and stem diameters of 1, 2, and 3 WAP). Types of bioamelioran fertilizers without the application of nutrient solution to the leaves give the best results on chili plant yield (weight per fruit). Abstract

This research aims to study the interaction between ameliorant formula dosage and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Pakcoy nauli F1 varieties. The experiment was carried out in the farmer's garden in Gudang Village, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency with a height of 870 meters above sea level (m asl), the time of the experiment was from July to November 2020. The research was conducted using an experimental method with environmental design using Randomized Group Design (RBD) factorial pattern consisting of two factors and repeated twice. The first factor is the dosage of the ameliorant formula with four levels: (0, 1, 2, 3 tons ha-1). The second factor was the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer at four levels: (0, 1, 2, 3 ml L-1 solution). The results showed that the interaction was not significant between the ameliorant formula dosage and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of Pakcoy nauli F1 varieties. The results of the independent test of the ameliorant formula dosage affect growth and yield. The dosage of ameliorant formula 3 t ha-1 has a good effect on plant height at 7 DAS and 21 DAS and weight per plant, with a weight per hectare of 69.1 tonnes ha-1. The results of the independent test the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) have an effect on crop yield. The POC concentration of 3 ml L-1 solution gave the highest effect on the weight per plant, with a weight per hectare of 67.5 tonnes ha-1. The dosage of ameliorant formula and the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer increased the yield of plants by 21.32% and 18.86%, respectively, compared to the control. Abstract

 Farming in the dry season is a difficult job to do, because it is constrained by the limited availability of water. This situation occurred in the village of Pasirnanjung which caused agricultural activities to cease. In order that agriculture can continue to run, a micro-scale agricultural mitigation can be applied during dry-season by planting in polybags based on bokhasi fertilizer in the yard of the house. Bokashi is an organic material that can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil, that has an effect on plants growth and yield. Empowerment of farmers have been carried out in Pasirnanjung village, from August to September 2018, by the methode of counseling, training, demonstration and planting. The participants were joined by 14 groups, 11 farmer groups, 1 Putra Karya Sejahtera Youth Group, 1 Mawar Lestari Women's Farmers Group and 1 Nanjung Jaya Gapoktan Group. Training materials include preparation of tools and materials, seedling of vegetable seeds, making bokashi, preparation of planting media, planting, cultivating and harvesting. As a result, each group can make bokashi and can grow vegetables in a polybag in their yard during the dry season. This activity will have a good impact on the acceleration of the realization the village government program to make agricultural education village and ecovillage.

Abstract

Food insecurity is a condition in an area, community or household where the level of security and availability does not meet the standards needed for the growth and health of the majority of the population. Kangkung is a heavy metal-absorbing weed plant that many people like as a vegetable. Food security in urban communities is limited by existing land and growing media, so using media from sewer sediment is an alternative. The experiment used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), consisting of two factors, namely the dose of chicken manure (A) with 4 levels as follows: a0 : 0 t ha-1 (control), a1 : 10 t ha-1, a2 : 20 t ha-1 and a3 : 30 t ha-1 and Kangkung Variety (K) with 4 levels as follows: k0 : Serimpi Variety, k1 : Amanda Variety, k2 : Bangkok LP-1 Variety and k3 : Bika Variety, so there are 16 treatment combinations repeated 2 times. The research findings indicated that there was no significant correlation between the dosage of chicken manure and the plant type in terms of plant growth, yield, and absorption of PB heavy metals, with the exception of leaf count. The optimum dose of chicken manure is 5.05 t ha-1 in the Serimpi variety with a maximum number of leaves of 11.30 plants-1, 5.27 t ha-1 in the Amanda variety produces a maximum number of leaves of 16.68 plants-1 , 9.20 t ha-1 in the Bangkok LP-1 variety produces a maximum number of leaves of 16.77 plants-1 and 3.83 t ha-1 in the Bika variety produces a maximum number of leaves of 18.66 plants-1.
