Abstract

To support the growth and development of plants in the Bedugul tourist area, in addition to using inorganic fertilizers, most farmers still use organic fertilizer derived from chicken manure which is easily obtained in large quantities from outside the Candikuning Village area. Only now, the source of organic fertilizer that can be used from solid and liquid rabbit manure in Candikuning Village still needs to be carried out further processing to improve the quality of rabbit manure as a nutrient source fertilizer for plants. Livestock farmer groups can use this opportunity in Candikuning Village to supply organic fertilizer from solid and liquid rabbit manure. The group's problem is that solid and liquid rabbit manure has not been processed optimally, there is no house where the drying and fermentation process has not been carried out, and packaging and labeling have not been carried out. Therefore, partner groups need to be facilitated by processing technology and improving the quality of rabbit waste, packaging and labeling, product quality testing in the laboratory, and partner group business management. This Community service program is carried out in livestock farming groups in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan Regency-Bali Province. The method used to achieve the goal is through socialization, counseling, mentoring, training, and applying technology with direct practice in the field. In this activity, the output target that has been achieved is that the partner group is independently able to utilize solid and liquid rabbit manure waste into "SOF" (Solid Organic Fertilizer) and "LOF" (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) with good quality has been packaged and labeled so that it can compete in the market and increase the income of the partner group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving a dose of organic coal fertilizer and NPK fertilizer on the growth of grafting seedlings of pomelo varieties. This research is an experiment on polybag planting media conducted at UPTD. Balai Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura of Bali Province from February to July 2022. This study was arranged based on a Completely Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors arranged in a factorial manner. The first factor is the dose of coal organic fertilizer (B) consisting of 4 levels: B0: 0 gr/polybag, B1: 71 gr/polybag, B2: 142 gr/polybag, B3: 213 gr/polybag. The second factor was the dose of NPK (N) consisting of 4 levels: N0:0 g/polybag, N1: 18.75 g/polybag, N2:37.5 g/polybag, N3:56.25 g/polybag. Thus, there were 16 treatment combinations, each of which was repeated 3 times to obtain 48 polybags. The results of statistical analysis showed that the interaction (B×N) and 0.05) on shoot growth variables (days), shoot cultation length (cm), bud grafting diameter (mm), number of leaves (strand), total leaf area (cm2). The fastest rootstock cuttings were obtained with a dose of NPK fertilizer of 37.5 g/polybag (N2) which was 6.67 days and the difference was not significant at a dose of 18.75 g/polybag (N1) which was 7.42 days. Abstract

The pumelo population in Bali is declining one is caused of a lack of good-quality seeds. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of organic coal fertilizer and rabbit farm waste as organic fertilizers for the growth of pomelo grafting seedlings. The research design used a nested pattern randomized block design with 3 replications. There are two factors, the first factor is the type of fertilizer, which are Coal fertilizers, Rabbit Farm Waste fertilizers, and Cow Manure fertilizers. The second factor is the dose of each type of fertilizer which consists of 3 levels, namely: 10 tons/ha; 20 tons/ha; and 30 tons/ha. The results showed that the effectiveness of the treatment of the type of organic fertilizer and the dose of the type of organic fertilizer had no significant effect on all observed variables. This shows that both coal fertilizer and rabbit manure have almost the same quality as cow manure in influencing the growth of pomelo seedlings. The effectiveness of fertilizers tested on the average shoot length of grafting tends to show the highest yields obtained at the highest dose (30 tons/ha), namely Coal fertilizer which is 28.80 cm, rabbit manure is 31.87 cm, and cow manure obtained is 28.13 cm.
