Abstract

Amerta Masa Farmer Group is a farmer group in Asah Duren Village that focuses on cultivating cloves. The problem faced by the Amerta Masa Farmer Group is the lack of knowledge about the control techniques of Clove Plant Disturbing Organisms. Control using root infusion techniques is very effective, efficient and more selective, but this method requires expertise or trained personnel so that in its implementation there is no difficulty in obtaining roots suitable for this application. Therefore, the service team provides assistance and direct practice in overcoming the problem of controlling organisms that disturb clove plants. After the implementation of the activity, it was obtained that, partners have been able to practice controlling organisms disturbing clove plants so as to increase production by 10-20%. Mitra hopes to get continuous assistance in cultivating cloves so that they can remind the production of clove plants.

Abstract

Agro Pudak Lestari, an ornamental plant farmers group, has been cultivating chrysanthemums for an extended period. The Agro Pudak Lestari farmer group had various challenges during the growing of chrysanthemums, including inadequate yields that failed to satisfy market standards due to white rust disease. The presence of antagonistic bacteria, specifically Trichoderma sp., Implementing efficient strategies for managing white rust disease. Consequently, farmer collectives will be instructed to utilize Trichoderma sp as a biological agent. The community service initiatives conducted at the Pudak Lestari Agro Ornamental Plant Farmer Group in Pancasari Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency have been executed efficiently and effectively. Partners have demonstrated a high level of awareness, up to 87%, about using Trichoderma sp mushrooms as biological agents. Additionally, farmer groups have successfully implemented techniques to get Trichoderma strains from natural sources and propagate them in the present rice cultivation medium. The Trichoderma sp fungus will be employed as a Trichocompost to mitigate the white rust disease in chrysanthemum plants, enhancing agricultural productivity.

Abstract

The problems faced are that chili cultivation techniques are not yet understood, chili processing has not been carried out, equipment and materials for cultivation and chili processing are not yet complete, and the importance of strengthening organizational management. The solution is that the partner group needs to be facilitated from the technological aspects of chili cultivation, chili processing, post-harvest and processing processes, and business management of the partner group. The aim of the activity is: to increase the knowledge and skills of partners in an effort to increase food security by cultivating in the yard and utilizing chili products to be processed into processed products with high economic value which can increase people's income.

Abstract

The solutions offered to overcome the problems faced by the partners are carried out through a community partnership program through farmer assistance, counseling, training, technology transfer, techniques for making biological fertilizer from citrus fruit waste, as well as strengthening group institutions. This Community Service Program is implemented in this farmer group. The method used to achieve this goal is through counseling, training and application of technology with direct practice in the field. The implementation of Community Service has gone well according to plan and the participation and response of all members have been very enthusiastic in its implementation. The output targets are a technology package for managing orange plantation waste into good quality biofertilizer, and strengthening the institutions of integrated agrotourism groups in Senganan village and publishing them in scientific journals.

Abstract

Bedugul tourist attractions with the lake and the attractive Beratan Temple, the "Eka Karya" Botanical Gardens, a place to enjoy impressive nature in Candikuning Village, are favorite tourist destinations for domestic tourists and foreign tourists visiting BaliMost of the people of Candikuning work in the agricultural sector as their livelihood and source of livelihood, requiring fertilizer to increase soil and plant fertility. Currently, most of the organic fertilizer used is chicken manure, which is purchased from outside the village, while the potential for developing rabbits in Candikuning Village as a potential source of fertilizer is still underutilized. The objectives of this activity for partners are: increasing partners' knowledge and skills in rabbit cultivation, using solid and liquid manure as organic fertilizer to substitute for the use of inorganic fertilizer, meeting increasing market demand by adding production facilities to support product quality, increasing quantity and continuous production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) application from rice water washing and cow manure on the growth and yield of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L). The method used is a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors, namely the concentration of POC (10 cc.l -1, 20 cc.l -1, and 30 cc. l ---1) and the dose of cow manure (10 tons ha -1, 15 tons ha -1-, and 20-tons ha -1). The results of the analysis showed that the interaction between the concentration of POC and the dose of cow manure did not have a significant effect (P>0.05) on all observed variables. The treatment of rice water washing POC concentration gave the highest fresh weight of fruit bunches at a concentration of POC (C3) 30 cc.l -, namely 44.18 g, or an increase of 6.4% from the lowest fresh weight of fruit bunches obtained at a concentration of POC (C1) 10 cc.l-1, namely 40.19 g, the highest oven dry weight of fruit bunches at a concentration of POC 30 (C3) cc.l-1, namely 10.49 g, an increase of 28.5%. The treatment of cow manure dose had no significant effect (P>0.05) on all observed variables. There was a significant effect on the number of harvested fruits per plant, where the treatment of POC 30 cc.l -1 and the dose of cow manure 30 tons ha -1. This study concluded that the use of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from rice washing water and cow manure can increase cayenne pepper yields, although the effect varies depending on the variables observed. It is hoped that these results will provide useful information for farmers in sustainably increasing cayenne pepper productivity.
