Abstract

Mathematical connection ability and habit of mind are essential aspects of mathematics learning; however, they remain low among eighth-grade students at MTs Ma’arif NU 09 Kutawis. Conventional learning methods tend to be less effective in encouraging students to think critically and connect mathematical concepts. The inquiry learning model is believed to enhance these aspects by actively engaging students in exploration and problem-solving processes. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which applied the inquiry learning model, and the control class, which implemented teacher centered learning -based instruction. Data were collected through mathematical connection tests and habit of mind questionnaires, then analyzed using the N-Gain Score to assess mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The results showed a positive effect of the inquiry learning model on students’ mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The average N-Gain in the experimental class for mathematical connection was 0.723 (high category), while in the control class, it was 0.46 (medium category). For habit of mind, the average N-Gain in the experimental class was 0.5 (medium category), whereas in the control class, it was 0.416 (medium category). Thus, the improvement in students’ mathematical connection ability and habit of mind in the experimental class was higher than in the control class.

Abstract

Integrating Islamic values ​​in the mathematics education curriculum is an effort to form mathematical concepts with ethical and spiritual principles in Islam. This approach aims to provide a more holistic learning experience, developing cognitive skills and shaping students’ character and morals. This integration also encourages the understanding that mathematics is abstract and closely related to everyday life and Islamic teachings. By adopting this approach, mathematics education can be more relevant, meaningful, and contribute to forming students who are knowledgeable and have noble character. This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values ​​in the Mathematics Education curriculum. The data collection methods in this study are documentation of the Mathematics Education study program curriculum, guidelines for compiling an integrative curriculum, learning observations and interviews with lecturers and students. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. This study concludes that the integration of Islamic values ​​in the mathematics education curriculum starts from determining the profile of graduates, learning outcomes, the learning process and evaluation. In the learning process, this integration can be applied in creating teaching materials, the application of thematic and contextual learning and research by lecturers or students.

Abstract

This service-learning program developed the Kandris 2025 Village Profile to address the lack of a comprehensive and updated village document. The goal is to create an integrated database on the population, geography, socio-economy, and potential of the village. The implementation methods included document studies, in-depth interviews with community leaders, and field observations. The result is a systematic and accurate profile document, which maps the objective conditions of the village in full. This document serves as a vital tool for the village government for data-driven development planning and increased transparency. Program sustainability is expected through periodic data updates and document digitization.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to find out whether consumer’s perception of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy of bank will affect the consumer’s loyalty. We tried to see the direct effect of CSR to consumer’s loyalty and the indirect effect to loyalty by using two mediating variables, namely satisfaction and trust, We split the CSR aspect into two main aspects, namely Business CSR and Philanthropic CSR. To test the hypotheses, we carried survey for bank customer who has bank account for more than 3 years. The result found that business CSR had a direct effect and indirect effect to consumer’s loyalty. However, the philanthropic CSR did not have affect the consumer’s trust.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic necessity for companies to maintain competitiveness amid industry disruption. However, the adoption of digital transformation does not always run smoothly because it is influenced by the gap between the structural readiness of the company and the need for long-term investment, known as corporate maturity mismatch. This study aims to analyze the impact of the level of corporate maturity mismatch on the implementation of digital transformation in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018–2023. The method used is a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis, and digital transformation is measured based on the intensity of digital keyword usage in company annual reports. The results indicate that corporate maturity mismatch has a positive impact on overall digital transformation, as well as on fundamental technology categories such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Big Data. Conversely, no significant impact was found on digital transformation in extended applications technology. These findings indicate that mismatches in financial structure drive companies to respond to such pressures through investments in strategic and long-term digital technologies. This study provides important implications for policymakers and industry players in designing funding strategies and regulations to support the acceleration of national digital transformation.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kanker kolorektal merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan adanya pertumbuhan sel abnormal pada bagian kolon dan rektum. Angka kejadian kanker kolorektal pada pria lebih tinggi dibandingkan wanita dan kejadian kanker kolorektal ini meningkat secara signifikan di kelompok usia 50 tahun keatas. Lokasi kanker kolorektal paling banyak ditemukan pada rektum dan tipe histopatologi paling banyak ditemukan adenokarsinoma sekitar 90%. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui distribusi, frekuensi dan menganalisis hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, lokasi, dan tipe histopatologi terhadap kejadian kanker kolorektal di RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel melalui data sekunder dengan cara Total Sampling (115 responden). Analisis univariat untuk menilai distribusi frekuensi usia, jenis kelamin, lokasi, tipe histopatologi dan kanker kolorektal serta analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Dari 115 responden, terdapat 38 responden (33%) untuk kelompok usia 51-60 tahun dengan ρ-value 0,175, 67 responden (58%) untuk jenis kelamin laki-laki dengan ρ-value 0,508, lokasi rektum 54 responden (47%) dengan ρ-value 0,07 dan untuk tipe histopatologi terdapat 85 responden (74%) adenocarsinoma dengan ρ-value 0,07. Simpulan : Pada penelitian ini tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara usia, jenis kelamin, lokasi, dan tipe histopatologi terhadap kejadian kanker kolorektal di RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon.

Abstract

Few English materials integrate Islamic values for mathematics teacher education. This study aimed to develop an Islamic context-based English learning material for pre-service mathematics teachers to address the need for integrating language proficiency with religious values. Using R&D approach with the 4D model, the study involved needs analysis, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness testing. The material covered mathematics topics such as symbols and operations, plane and solid geometry enriched with Islamic contexts including Qur’anic references and the contributions of Muslim mathematicians. This is among the first to embed Qur’anic references and Muslim mathematicians in English for Mathematics materials. Validation by three domain experts (mathematics, English, and Islamic education) resulted in high scores of 4.12 (82.3%), 4.59 (91.8%), and 4.06 (81.2%), respectively, indicating strong validity. Student assessments further supported its validity with an average score of 4.41 (88.1%). Effectiveness testing using a quasi-experimental design revealed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group’s English proficiency, with an N-Gain score of 0.57 compared to 0.39 in the control group (p < 0.05). These findings confirm that the developed material is valid, practical, and effective for improving English skills. However, the study was limited to only two classes in a single institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis secara komprehensif dan ilmiah perbedaan kinerja keuangan serta risiko kebangkrutan antara perusahaan jasa konstruksi BUMN dan non-BUMN di Indonesia dalam periode 2017 hingga 2023. Dengan pendekatan metode campuran yang menggabungkan analisis kuantitatif (statistik deskriptif, rasio keuangan, dan model prediksi kebangkrutan) dan analisis kualitatif (analisis tematik dan konten), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa perusahaan konstruksi BUMN cenderung memiliki tingkat leverage yang lebih tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ketergantungan kuat pada pendanaan eksternal, proyek-proyek strategis nasional yang rendah profitabilitas, serta tekanan arus kas yang signifikan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan perusahaan BUMN lebih rentan terhadap risiko kebangkrutan dibandingkan dengan perusahaan non-BUMN, yang menunjukkan fleksibilitas lebih tinggi dalam pemilihan proyek, pengelolaan biaya yang efisien, serta implementasi teknologi inovatif. Penelitian juga mengungkap bahwa struktur modal, manajemen arus kas, regulasi pemerintah, dan dinamika pasar merupakan faktor utama yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi perbedaan kinerja keuangan dan risiko kebangkrutan kedua jenis perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan implikasi teoritis dan praktis bagi para pemangku kepentingan, khususnya dalam pengambilan keputusan strategis guna meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan industri konstruksi nasional

Abstract

Supervisi Pendidikan merupakan suatu elemen yang sangat penting dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan Islam khususnya terhadap guru yang mengajar untuk melakukan perbaikan sehingga menghasilkan proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Untuk menjaga kegiatan supervisi agar sesuai dengan tujuannya, perlu peningkatan profesionalitas dari supervisor pendidikan dalam hal ini adalah kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berupa studi kepustakaan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Langkah-langkah profesionalisasi supervisor pendidikan yang dapat ditempuh adalah: Meningkatkan kualifikasi akademik supervisor pendidikan, Meningkatkan kompetensi supervisor pendidikan, Mengenal dan menerapkan berbagai pendekatan supervisi, Memanfaatkan ICT dalam Supervisi Pendidikan, Meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi supervisi, Berorientasi kepada peningkatan SDM Pendidikan, Membuat program supervisi bersama.

Abstract

This study aims to specifically examine the impact of intellectual capital on financial and market performance, considering the moderating role of board function. The study uses a sample of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the period 2017-2022. The approach employed in this research is panel regression to test the relationships between variables. The results indicate that intellectual capital has a significant effect on return on assets (ROA). Additionally, the role of the board function strengthens the impact of intellectual capital on return on assets as a moderating variable. The implications of this study suggest that company management should consider increasing investment in the development and utilization of intellectual capital. This can include employee training and development, effective knowledge management, and innovation development, which can ultimately enhance the overall value of the company.
