Abstract

Pemecahan masalah merupakan hal terpenting yang terdapat dalam tujuan pembelajaran. Pentingnya kemampuan tersebut maka dibutuhkan perlakuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa agar dapat menumbuhkan berpikir secara sistematis, kritis dan logis. Salah satunya menggunakan bahan ajar yang inovatif dan dan mengacu pada masalah matematika pada kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui bahan ajar matematika berbasis konteks islami pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar di kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU 1 Karanglewas yang mempunyai kelebihan pada muatan pendidikan islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Reseach and Development dengan menggunakan pengembangan model PPE (Planning, Production, and Evaluation). Analisis data validitas pengembangan bahan ajar melalui angket validasi yang diberikan kepada tiga validator, serta analisis data efektivitas melalui hasil tes pemecahan masalah matematika yang diberikan kepada 56 siswa MTs Maarif NU 1 Karanglewas. Hasil peneitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika berbasis islami valid dan layak digunakan sebagaimana hasil validasi ahli materi dengan persentase kumulatif 93,18%, vaidasi bahan ajar dengan persentase kumulatif 95,23%, validasi ahli konteks islami dengan persentase penilaian 91,42%. Selanjutnya bahan ajar matematika berbasis konteks islami dinyatakan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan skor N-gain eksperiment 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi yang mana lebih baik dari skor N-gain kontrol 0,29 dengan kategori rendah.

Abstract

Pancasila, sebagai dasar negara Indonesia, bukan hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman politik dan hukum, tetapi juga sebagai sistem etika yang memberikan arahan moral dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Artikel ini membahas dua hal utama: pertama, etika Pancasila sebagai pedoman perilaku yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai ketuhanan, kemanusiaan, persatuan, demokrasi, dan keadilan sosial; kedua, penerapan Pancasila sebagai solusi terhadap masalah besar bangsa, yaitu kerusakan lingkungan dan dekadensi moral. Pancasila mengajarkan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam sesuai dengan sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, serta mengedepankan prinsip keadilan sosial dan pemerataan kesejahteraan. Dalam konteks moralitas, Pancasila mendasari tindakan yang menjunjung tinggi norma sosial, menghormati hak asasi manusia, dan memperkuat persatuan bangsa. Dengan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila, diharapkan Indonesia dapat mengatasi tantangan kerusakan lingkungan dan dekadensi moral, menuju masyarakat yang lebih adil, beradab, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Identitas nasional merupakan konsep yang sangat penting dalam memahami keberagaman dan kesatuan suatu bangsa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana identitas nasional dibentuk dan dipertahankan dalam konteks globalisasi, dengan fokus pada Indonesia. Melalui kajian literatur, penulis menganalisis peran sejarah, budaya, bahasa, serta simbol-simbol nasional dalam membangun rasa kebangsaan. Selain itu, tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mempertahankan identitas nasional di tengah arus globalisasi juga dibahas, termasuk pengaruh teknologi dan budaya asing yang dapat mengancam keberagaman budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa identitas nasional harus dipahami sebagai sesuatu yang dinamis, yang harus terus diperbarui dan dipertahankan oleh generasi-generasi berikutnya.

Abstract

Mathematical comprehension ability is essential for students to achieve proficiency in mastering mathematical material. Innovation is needed, such as using animated learning media that can display illustrations visually to increase student interest. The purpose of this study was to develop valid and effective animated video learning media to improve the mathematical comprehension ability of grade VIII students. The method used was the Research and Development with the Bergman & Moore model. The instruments were questionnaires and tests. The study results showed that the learning animation video was valid and interesting with a percentage of validation by material experts of 81,3% (valid of a good predicate) and media experts of 89% (valid of a good predicate). The learning animation video effectively improved students' mathematical understanding abilities with an average class N-Gain score of 0,58 (moderate).

Abstract

Women are under-represented in top management positions, with their participation declining as positions increase. This study investigates the role of the 'glass ceiling' in contributing to the deficit of female leadership in Indonesia. This study adopted a qualitative methodology using a phenomenological approach. The research data was collected using semi-structured, in-depth interviews. The data were analysed using four stages of coding: open coding, axial coding, selective coding, and process coding. The findings show that the glass ceiling phenomenon results from several barriers faced by female employees. These barriers are categorised into five types: situational/organisational, social role, person-centred, interactional, and human capital. In conclusion, women workers in Indonesia face invisible barriers in various situations. These include organisational and socio-cultural factors as well as gender issues. This phenomenon creates a glass ceiling which prevents the advancement of women into leadership roles, leading to a deficit of female leaders in Indonesia

Abstract

Learning material is an important part of the implementation of learning, so teachers should be able to design, arrange, and develop their learning material. There are a lot of mathematics learning materials on the market but they are still rarely integrated with Islamic studies. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop Islamic context-based learning material to increase students' mathematical understanding. This study is research and development using the PPE model which consists of three stages, namely planning, production, and evaluation. The data collecting techniques used are tested to find out the students' mathematical understanding and questionnaire to find out expert's assessment. The data is analyzed quantitatively using descriptive data analysis techniques. The data obtained from the questionnaire is quantified to get results in the form of percentages to find out the results of the questionnaire from the validation of the learning material experts. The results showed that Islamic context-based learning material has fulfilled the requirements to be considered feasible to be used in the learning process and is feasible to be used as learning support to increase students' mathematical understanding.

Abstract

Mathematical connection ability and habit of mind are essential aspects of mathematics learning; however, they remain low among eighth-grade students at MTs Ma’arif NU 09 Kutawis. Conventional learning methods tend to be less effective in encouraging students to think critically and connect mathematical concepts. The inquiry learning model is believed to enhance these aspects by actively engaging students in exploration and problem-solving processes. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which applied the inquiry learning model, and the control class, which implemented teacher centered learning -based instruction. Data were collected through mathematical connection tests and habit of mind questionnaires, then analyzed using the N-Gain Score to assess mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The results showed a positive effect of the inquiry learning model on students’ mathematical connection ability and habit of mind. The average N-Gain in the experimental class for mathematical connection was 0.723 (high category), while in the control class, it was 0.46 (medium category). For habit of mind, the average N-Gain in the experimental class was 0.5 (medium category), whereas in the control class, it was 0.416 (medium category). Thus, the improvement in students’ mathematical connection ability and habit of mind in the experimental class was higher than in the control class.

Abstract

Integrating Islamic values ​​in the mathematics education curriculum is an effort to form mathematical concepts with ethical and spiritual principles in Islam. This approach aims to provide a more holistic learning experience, developing cognitive skills and shaping students’ character and morals. This integration also encourages the understanding that mathematics is abstract and closely related to everyday life and Islamic teachings. By adopting this approach, mathematics education can be more relevant, meaningful, and contribute to forming students who are knowledgeable and have noble character. This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values ​​in the Mathematics Education curriculum. The data collection methods in this study are documentation of the Mathematics Education study program curriculum, guidelines for compiling an integrative curriculum, learning observations and interviews with lecturers and students. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. This study concludes that the integration of Islamic values ​​in the mathematics education curriculum starts from determining the profile of graduates, learning outcomes, the learning process and evaluation. In the learning process, this integration can be applied in creating teaching materials, the application of thematic and contextual learning and research by lecturers or students.

Abstract

This service-learning program developed the Kandris 2025 Village Profile to address the lack of a comprehensive and updated village document. The goal is to create an integrated database on the population, geography, socio-economy, and potential of the village. The implementation methods included document studies, in-depth interviews with community leaders, and field observations. The result is a systematic and accurate profile document, which maps the objective conditions of the village in full. This document serves as a vital tool for the village government for data-driven development planning and increased transparency. Program sustainability is expected through periodic data updates and document digitization.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to find out whether consumer’s perception of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy of bank will affect the consumer’s loyalty. We tried to see the direct effect of CSR to consumer’s loyalty and the indirect effect to loyalty by using two mediating variables, namely satisfaction and trust, We split the CSR aspect into two main aspects, namely Business CSR and Philanthropic CSR. To test the hypotheses, we carried survey for bank customer who has bank account for more than 3 years. The result found that business CSR had a direct effect and indirect effect to consumer’s loyalty. However, the philanthropic CSR did not have affect the consumer’s trust.
