Abstract

Computer technology has developed recently and is used to help humans, one of the technologies is the use of the Microsoft Excel computer application. A village is a legal community unit that has territorial boundaries and has the authority to regulate and manage community interests and is led by the village head or village head. The use of Microsoft Excel has been used to process data but it is not fully known so it does not provide benefits and is less effective in serving the community. The aim of this training is to improve the quality of human resources in the Tanjung Baru village apparatus. The methods used are interviews and surveys. The results obtained from this training are an increase in the ability of Tanjung Baru village equipment and staff in operating Microsoft Excel to help smooth work and village administration services

Abstract

The development of information technology is a challenge, so we are required to be able to adapt to improve our capabilities in the field of technology. The problem in orphanages is the lack of facilities, funds and volunteers to help improve skills. The aim of this service is to help orphanage children gain skills that can be used in the future. The training method used is lecture and direct practice. The children participating in the training welcomed this training activity happily, seen from the response when the training team carried out direct exposure and practice

Abstract

Proper packaging plays a role in protecting food products from physical, chemical and biological damage so that learning about good packaging is needed to ensure food safety. In the implementation of the Food Packaging and Storage course, food grade packaging is applied for use. This community service aims to educate students and the community in food grade food packaging to students of the Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business Department. During the activity, participants actively participate in activities and learn the benefits of using food grade packaging. The result of this community service activity is increased knowledge about food grade packaging.

Abstract

The village government, namely the village head and other village officials, have duties and responsibilities as well as obligations to provide services needed by the community, the process of which must go through the village administration. In village administration, governance must run well to prevent unwanted things from happening, such as the loss of valuable assets. This community service aims to educate village officials in working on the village administration and governance system. During the activity, participants actively participated in the activities and studied the governance and administration system. The result of this activity is an increase in the ability and knowledge of village officials in Battu Winangun Village regarding the village administration system and governance.

Abstract

The potential of the tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fishery as one of the village's leading potentials needs to receive serious attention and development, and be sustainable so that it can produce quality products, if the village community's economy is to be strengthened. To be able to produce processed products made from tilapia fish that can compete in the market, professional business management is needed. This can be realized if the village tilapia fish commodity is run by quality human resources considering that this commodity is vulnerable in terms of quality and marketing. So far, tilapia fish in Batu Raden Village are mostly marketed in whole form without any further processing for restaurant and household consumption. Abstract

These intervention was carried out on employees of PT. P. The assessment results show that employees such as Seed Production Unit employees have concentration that needs to be improved. After investigating, several causes of concentration problems among employees include visual distraction, auditory distraction, work overload which results in employee fatigue, and demotivation. Then the intervention is in the form of providing a brain gym with several movements that can increase concentration including sipping water, cross crawl, neck rolls, thinking caps, brain button, arm and leg activation, back cross crawl, gravity glider, calf pump, hooks up and ice breaker which trains employee focus for work. The intervention carried out provided significant results in reducing errors in counting sprouts made by employees. This also shows that employee concentration has increased significantly.

Abstract

TPA Pelawi is 513 km from residential areas. TPA Pelawi implements an open dumping system. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the TPA groundwater and its distribution. Samples were taken as many as 4 stations, namely station 1 is river water, station 2,3, and 4 are groundwater samples. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, the quality of ground water in the Pelawi TPA is moderately polluted, Fe, Zn, Cd, Cr, Mn and Pb metals are found in the groundwater around the Pelawi TPA.

Abstract

Accounting information is a system that is generally computer-based and a method for tracking accounting activities in relation to information technology resources. Based on data published by UMKM Medan Belawan. Accounting information affects the development of UMKM for micro, small and medium enterprises that use accounting information. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of information technology, accounting knowledge, educational background, business age, and business scale on the use of accounting information in micro, small and medium enterprises in Medan Belawan 2019-2023. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. Data was taken from 96 UMKM in Medan Belawan sub-district that met the sample assessment criteria. The results of this study state that the use of information technology, accounting knowledge, educational background, business age, and business scale affect the use of accounting information.

Abstract

Parking tax compliance is a taxpayer's activity in implementing applicable tax provisions. Compliant Taxpayers are Taxpayers who comply with their tax obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Legislative Regulations (Siti Kurnia Rahayau, 2017). Based on data published by the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency Office, the higher the level of parking tax compliance, the higher the level of parking tax revenue which is supported by the information technology system and modernization of the parking tax revenue system. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of information technology, modernization of the parking tax revenue system on parking tax compliance at the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method uses quantitative methods with primary data from the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency. The sampling method in this research uses the Probability Sampling method for the period 2017 to 2022, and has met the sample fulfillment criteria. The research results show that information technology and modernization of the parking tax revenue system have an influence on parking tax compliance.

Abstract

Tax is one of the income in Indonesia and is a mandatory deposit paid to the state without any direct benefits, which is used for state needs and public welfare. There are many types of taxes in Indonesia, one of which is Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT is closely related to Taxpayers who are Taxable Entrepreneurs, VAT is collected on purchase/sales transactions carried out by Taxpayers, both Individuals and Corporate Taxes. On January 1, 2025, the government increased the VAT rate from 11% to 12%. The increase in VAT aims to increase state revenues so that in the long term it can support development and encourage economic recovery. The study aims to determine the impact of the increase in VAT rates on income and business continuity of UMKM in Medan City. The data analysis method used in this study is the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of the study based on the multiple linear regression analysis method show that the income and business continuity variables have a significant positive effect on the 12% tax rate variable on UMKM in Medan City. Data was taken from 36 UMKM in Medan City. The results of the study stated that the increase in VAT to 12% has a positive impact, namely that it will increase state revenue to be redistributed to the community. Meanwhile, the negative impacts that will arise include increasing prices of goods and services, increasing inflation, and decreasing people's purchasing power.
