Abstract

Air, sebagai kebutuhan vital bagi masyarakat harus selalu tersedia baik dari segi kuantitas dan kualitas. PDAM Baturaja merupakan satu-satunya perusahaan penyedia air bersih di Kota Baturaja. Air bersih yang digunakan sebagai sumber pemenuhan kebutuhan warga Desa Batu Kuning berasal dari Sungai Ogan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sistem jaringan, pendistribusian air bersih dan ketersediaan air bersih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif – kuantitatif. Data penduduk di Desa Kibang diproyeksikan sebanyak 181 KK dengan jumlah sebanyak 493 jiwa sehingga masuk kedalam katagori pedesaan. Kebutuhan air domestik minimal 150 l/hari dan kebutuhan air sebesar 27.045,98m3 dengan rata-rata 2.253,85m3.

Abstract

As a society that is a nation and a state, we must have a character to be realized which is sourced from the noble values ​​of the nation guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Among the concepts of its implementation are listed in the citizenship course. In the implementation of the citizenship course is to implement waste management based on 5R (reduce, reuse, recycle, replace, replant). This service aims to educate students, teachers and staff at SD Negeri 137 Palembang about the importance of responsible waste management and introduce 5R practices that can be applied in the school environment. During the activity, participants will actively participate in the activities of reducing, using, reusing, replacing and replanting and learning the benefits and process of implementing 5R in schools. The result of this service is the implementation of character building for students so that they understand the concept of waste management so that they can be more sensitive, intelligent, and skilled in utilizing and utilizing the resources they have to be smart in managing waste.

Abstract

The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Baturaja University. Ogan Komring Olu Regency. The materials used were: Dendrobium sp orchid seedlings, charcoal, ferns, coconut fiber. The tools used were plastic/paranet, 7 cm diameter plastic pots. ruler, pot rack, treatment labels, stationery, and cameras. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK). The factorial treatment consisted of a combination of Shade (N), and planting media composition (M), the combination of Shade (N) consisted of 3 levels and the composition of the planting media consisted of 3 levels, the treatment was repeated three times so there were 27 combinations. Each treatment consisted of 5 plants with five sample plants. The variables observed were the percentage of growth, plant height, number of leaves, number of roots, root length, and wet weight of the plant. From the results, it was obtained that the average vegetative appearance of dendrobium orchid seedlings from the shade and planting media treatments showed more vigorous growth than without shade. The average growth of shaded seedlings was higher than without shade. Growth was higher in 50% shade. The average growth of orchid seedlings was higher in coconut fiber, fern, and rice husk charcoal (1:1:1) planting media except for leaf chlorophyll content. Correlation regression testing of the percentage of survival determined plant height by 0.55. number of leaves 0.19, dry plant weight 0.57, root length 0.005, number of roots 0.63, and leaf chlorophyll content 0.41. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2), the percentage of plant growth correlated with the number of roots, dry plant weight and plant height. The conclusion of this study is based on the plant growth pattern, the use of 50% shade and the use of coconut fiber, fern, and rice husk charcoal (1:1:1) planting media is a better treatment for the growth of Dendrobium sp. Orchids. The percentage of survival determined plant height by 0.55. number of leaves 0.19, dry plant weight 0.57, root length 0.005, number of roots 0.63, and leaf chlorophyll content 0.41. From the results of the determination coefficient (R2), it can be seen that the percentage of plant growth is correlated with the number of roots, dry weight of the plant and plant height.

Abstract

Computer technology has developed recently and is used to help humans, one of the technologies is the use of the Microsoft Excel computer application. A village is a legal community unit that has territorial boundaries and has the authority to regulate and manage community interests and is led by the village head or village head. The use of Microsoft Excel has been used to process data but it is not fully known so it does not provide benefits and is less effective in serving the community. The aim of this training is to improve the quality of human resources in the Tanjung Baru village apparatus. The methods used are interviews and surveys. The results obtained from this training are an increase in the ability of Tanjung Baru village equipment and staff in operating Microsoft Excel to help smooth work and village administration services

Abstract

Rapid population growth and large amounts of land being converted into housing, especially in the Sekarjaya Village at Sriwijaya Hospital, with these changing conditions, make the Sriwijaya Hospital area prone to flooding when the rainy season arrives. Therefore, an analysis of the influence of flood discharge on changes in land use in Sekarjaya Village was carried out. The results of the flood discharge analysis for the 10 year period show that the increase in discharge in 2014 reached 14,863.81 m3/sec and in 2024 it reached 100,818.46 m3/sec. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that changes in land use around the Sriwijaya RSS are related to the magnitude of flood discharge in the Sriwijaya RSS watershed.

Abstract

Abstract

Proper packaging plays a role in protecting food products from physical, chemical and biological damage so that learning about good packaging is needed to ensure food safety. In the implementation of the Food Packaging and Storage course, food grade packaging is applied for use. This community service aims to educate students and the community in food grade food packaging to students of the Agricultural Engineering Technology and Business Department. During the activity, participants actively participate in activities and learn the benefits of using food grade packaging. The result of this community service activity is increased knowledge about food grade packaging.

Abstract

The village government, namely the village head and other village officials, have duties and responsibilities as well as obligations to provide services needed by the community, the process of which must go through the village administration. In village administration, governance must run well to prevent unwanted things from happening, such as the loss of valuable assets. This community service aims to educate village officials in working on the village administration and governance system. During the activity, participants actively participated in the activities and studied the governance and administration system. The result of this activity is an increase in the ability and knowledge of village officials in Battu Winangun Village regarding the village administration system and governance.

Abstract

The potential of the tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fishery as one of the village's leading potentials needs to receive serious attention and development, and be sustainable so that it can produce quality products, if the village community's economy is to be strengthened. To be able to produce processed products made from tilapia fish that can compete in the market, professional business management is needed. This can be realized if the village tilapia fish commodity is run by quality human resources considering that this commodity is vulnerable in terms of quality and marketing. So far, tilapia fish in Batu Raden Village are mostly marketed in whole form without any further processing for restaurant and household consumption. Abstract

These intervention was carried out on employees of PT. P. The assessment results show that employees such as Seed Production Unit employees have concentration that needs to be improved. After investigating, several causes of concentration problems among employees include visual distraction, auditory distraction, work overload which results in employee fatigue, and demotivation. Then the intervention is in the form of providing a brain gym with several movements that can increase concentration including sipping water, cross crawl, neck rolls, thinking caps, brain button, arm and leg activation, back cross crawl, gravity glider, calf pump, hooks up and ice breaker which trains employee focus for work. The intervention carried out provided significant results in reducing errors in counting sprouts made by employees. This also shows that employee concentration has increased significantly.
