Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of non-physical work environment and job satisfaction on teachers’ work discipline at public junior high schools in Cirebon City. The study used a quantitative method with an associative research design. The population included all public junior high school teachers in Cirebon City, and a sample of 90 teachers was determined using the Slovin formula combined with purposive sampling. Data were gathered via questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression using SPSS version 29. The findings show that the non-physical work environment positively and significantly influences teachers’ work discipline, and job satisfaction also has a positive and significant impact on teachers’ work discipline. Furthermore, the non-physical work environment and job satisfaction jointly contribute significantly to teachers’ work discipline within a regression model. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.616 indicates that 61.6% of the variation in teachers’ work discipline can be explained by the non-physical work environment and job satisfaction, while the remaining 38.4% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings suggest that improving teachers’ work discipline requires not only formal rules and monitoring systems but also a supportive non-physical work environment and a high level of job satisfaction. Therefore, schools should focus on enhancing these aspects to strengthen teachers’ work discipline sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to improve employee performance (Y) at PDAM Majalengka through the enhancement of work-life balance (X1) and work motivation (X2). The research applies a quantitative method with an associative approach and a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 111 employees who met the predetermined research criteria. The sampling technique applied purposive sampling to ensure respondents possessed relevant job experience and organizational tenure. Data analysis procedures consisted of validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the t-test supported by IBM SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that work-life balance exerts a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance (sig. 0.030 < 0.05). Work motivation demonstrates a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance (sig. 0.025 < 0.05). The regression model confirms that both independent variables contribute meaningfully to variations in performance levels among employees. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.115 indicates that 10% of the variance in employee performance is explained by work-life balance and work motivation. The remaining 90% of performance variance reflects the influence of other variables beyond the scope of the present research model, including organizational culture, leadership style, job satisfaction, compensation systems, and work environment factors.

Abstract

The growing trend toward healthy lifestyles has increasingly driven demand for culinary products that are hygienic, nutritious, and practical. This condition creates opportunities for healthy culinary MSMEs to develop, including Bekal Sehatkoe, which operates in Talun District. Business legality, such as the Business Identification Number (NIB), Home Industry Food Production Permit (PIRT), and halal certification, constitute essential requirements for enhancing public trust. This community service program aims to strengthen the administrative capacity of Bekal Sehatkoe through structured and practical assistance in business legalization. The community engagement method employed is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which integrates needs identification, legal training, implementation assistance, and outcome evaluation. The results show that Bekal Sehatkoe successfully obtained an NIB as a basic operational license, gained an understanding of the stages and requirements for PIRT, and subsequently acquired halal certification. The impact of this assistance is reflected in the partner's increased readiness to develop the business professionally and to ensure long-term business sustainability.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor in determining the success of an organization, especially in government agencies that provide public services. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance at the Cirebon Regency Environmental Office. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 134 respondents from a population of 200 employees determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires using the Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients. The results of the study show that organizational culture and work environment partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The determination coefficient shows that both variables explain some of the variation in employee performance, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside of the research model. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening organizational culture and creating a supportive work environment to improve employee performance.
