Abstract

Pemahaman mengenai makna dan tujuan hidup merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan mahasiswa. Salah satu faktor yang diyakini berperan dalam pembentukan tujuan hidup adalah religiusitas, yang dalam penelitian ini dikaji melalui konsep Personal Religious Construct-System (PRCS). Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara PRCS dan tujuan hidup (the purpose) pada mahasiswa Muslim di Indonesia, khususnya di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan 308 mahasiswa Muslim dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di tujuh kota di Jawa Barat. PRCS diukur menggunakan The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS-15), sedangkan tujuan hidup diukur dengan Claremont Purpose Scale (CPS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PRCS memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan the purpose (r = 0,630, p < 0,01), yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat religiusitas seseorang, semakin jelas dan stabil orientasi tujuan hidupnya. Mahasiswa dengan tingkat PRCS yang lebih tinggi cenderung memiliki visi hidup yang lebih terarah, memaknai tujuan hidup mereka tidak hanya dalam aspek pribadi tetapi juga dalam kontribusi sosial yang lebih luas. Hal ini sejalan dengan teori "The Purpose" yang menekankan bahwa tujuan hidup tidak hanya bersifat individual tetapi juga melibatkan aspek beyond the self. Temuan ini mendukung penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa religiusitas berkontribusi pada pembentukan makna dan arah hidup individu. Selain itu, dalam konteks mahasiswa Muslim di Jawa Barat, religiusitas berperan sebagai kerangka berpikir yang membantu mereka menetapkan dan mengejar tujuan hidup yang bermakna. Studi ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan program pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai spiritual dalam lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Psikolog klinis rentan mengalami kelelahan dalam melakukan proses pekerjaan menolong klien. Namun, pada psikolog klinis kerap ditemukan perasaan puas yang muncul dari proses membantu klien yang dapat melindungi psikolog klinis dari dampak negatif akan kelelahan tersebut. Perasaan puas yang didapatkan dari proses menolong klien atau compassion satisfaction pada psikolog klinis perlu ditumbuhkan karena dapat membantu psikolog untuk melakukan proses terapeutik dengan klien secara lebih efektif. Salah satu faktor yang membantu meningkatkan compassion satisfaction adalah mindfulness atau kesadaran penuh akan momen yang sedang berlangsung dengan sikap ingin tahu, terbuka, dan tanpa penghakiman. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu menemukan bahwa mindfulness dan compassion satisfaction berhubungan secara positif pada tenaga kesehatan mental. Namun, terdapat sedikit penelitian yang meneliti tentang mekanisme yang memediasi hubungan antara kedua variabel ini. Salah satu kemungkinan variabel yang dapat menjembatani hubungan antara mindfulness dan compassion satisfaction pada adalah self-efficacy akan pekerjaannya, atau keyakinan individu akan kemampuannya dalam melakukan pekerjaan sebagai psikolog klinis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi self-efficacy terhadap hubungan antara mindfulness dan compassion satisfaction pada psikolog klinis. Berdasarkan data yang diambil yang diambil dengan metode convenience sampling (n = 280) dengan kuesioner self-report, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness dan compassion satisfaction  memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan, dan hubungan tersebut dimediasi secara parsial oleh self-efficacy, dengan lama masa kerja dan jam kerja per minggu sebagai variabel kovariat. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa walaupun mindfulness tetap berhubungan positif secara signifikan dengan compassion satisfaction tanpa peran mediasi self-efficacy, hubungannya lebih kuat jika melalui mekanisme self-efficacy.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between cognitive jealousy and stress levels in emerging adulthood individuals who are in romantic relationships. Lazarus & Folkman's theory and Pfeiffer and Wong's theory are used as a framework for understanding how cognitive jealousy can influence stress levels. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. Data was collected through an online survey using an adapted questionnaire of the Multidimensional Jealousy Scale (MJS) and Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). The results of data analysis show that there is a relationship between cognitive jealousy and stress levels in 290 participants. These findings highlight the importance of awareness of the emotional impact of romantic relationships in emerging adulthood individuals. The research results show that there is a significant and directly proportional relationship between cognitive jealousy and stress levels in emerging adults who are in a romantic relationship. This means that the higher the level of cognitive jealousy experienced by emerging adulthood individuals who are in a romantic relationship, the higher the level of stress experienced by the individual.

Abstract

Mahasiswa perguruan tinggi sering menghadapi tekanan akademik seperti beban tugas, tuntutan prestasi, serta kesulitan dalam mengelola waktu dan emosi. Dalam konteks ini, academic gratitude (rasa syukur akademik) dan academic buoyancy (daya lenting akademik) dipandang berperan penting dalam membantu mahasiswa mengatasi tekanan tersebut. Gratitude membantu mahasiswa menghargai hal-hal positif dalam proses belajar, sementara buoyancy mencerminkan kemampuan bangkit dari tantangan akademik sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji hubungan antara academic gratitude dan academic buoyancy. Desain yang digunakan adalah studi korelasional dengan teknik probability sampling berbasis strata kelas. Sampel terdiri atas 410 mahasiswa (104 laki-laki, 306 perempuan) dari universitas negeri di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui Google Form selama masa pandemi, menggunakan instrumen Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6) dan Academic Buoyancy Scale (ABS) yang telah diadaptasi ke konteks Indonesia. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berada pada kategori tinggi, serta terdapat hubungan positif, cukup kuat, dan signifikan antara academic gratitude dan academic buoyancy. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa rasa syukur berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan daya lenting akademik. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar universitas mengembangkan program berbasis gratitude untuk memperkuat ketahanan akademik mahasiswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) not only affects the physical condition but also impacts on psychological conditions, such as feeling down, embarrassed by appearance, feelings of worthlessness, anxiety, to despair which is the cause of decreased quality of life. In improving the quality of life requires a psychological intervention called Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). This study aims to seek the effects of MBCT interventions on improving the quality of life of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with hemodialysis. Research participants were 3 people. This research was a case study research with a mixed method. Data analysis strategy used was a concurrent embedded strategy that compares quantitative and qualitative data. The result showed that MBCT interventions could improve participant’s quality of life. MBCT interventions provide the skills to be aware of clear thoughts, feelings, and events without assessing them so that patients can sort out the things that originate from their thoughts and distinguish them from actual events. This accomplishment of the result can be perceived from the arising of feeling more enjoy life and there is an increase in scores on each aspect of quality of life on the measurement scale used.

Abstract

Academic gratitude plays an important role in shaping students’ psychological well-being and motivation; however, research on its association with purpose in life remains limited, particularly among Muslim students in Indonesia. On the other hand, many Muslim students experience confusion in determining life direction and the meaning of academic activities, which leads to stress, anxiety, and even depressive symptoms. Cultural pressures, discrimination, and lack of social support further exacerbate this condition, making the absence of a clear life purpose a significant issue affecting their well-being. This study aims to examine the relationship between academic gratitude and purpose in life among Muslim students. The participants consisted of 308 Muslim students in West Java recruited through convenience sampling. The instruments used were self-report questionnaires, namely the Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6) to measure academic gratitude and the Claremont Purpose Scale (CPS) to measure purpose in life. Spearman correlation analysis revealed a moderately strong and significant positive relationship between academic gratitude and the purpose (r = 0.434; p < 0.01). These findings suggest that the higher the students’ academic gratitude, the clearer their sense of life purpose. Further research is needed to explore the influence of academic gratitude on purpose in life in different cultural and religious contexts to broaden the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

Kabupaten Garut is an area with a high level of disaster vulnerability, causing communities to frequently experience both physical and psychological impacts in the aftermath of disasters. On the other hand, the effectiveness of the Pusdalops PB BPBD Garut response remains limited due to the placement of members that do not yet align with their personality characteristics, as well as insufficient psychosocial capacity when dealing directly with survivors. To address these issues, this intervention was designed using two approaches: a DISC personality assessment to allocate members into four work clusters (logistics, decision-makers, communicators, and data assessors), and Psychological First Aid (PFA) psychoeducation to enhance knowledge and self-efficacy. The program involved 23 participants through DISC assessment, PFA training, and a pretest–posttest evaluation using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed significant improvements across all variables, including PFA knowledge (Z = –3.649; p = 0.000), self-efficacy in responding to survivors (Z = –2.496; p = 0.013), self-efficacy in recognising survivors (Z = –2.858; p = 0.004), and emotional regulation self-efficacy (Z = –2.550; p = 0.011). These findings highlight that personality-based role placement and PFA psychoeducation are effective in strengthening psychosocial preparedness and can serve as a relevant intervention model for disaster-prone regions such as Kabupaten Garut.
