Abstract

This service was held on Monday, July 31 2023. This service was held at Al Ittihad School Pekanbaru. The training participants were 17 high school students, this service ran smoothly and all participants were able to take part in the training well. In this service activity, participants are given a questionnaire before and after the training. The results of questionnaires before and after training showed a significant increase in knowledge regarding fertilizer making. The school also really supports this service activity, so that with the support of all parties the service runs well and is successful.

Abstract

Perekonomian yang anjlok selama covid berimbas kepada industri perbankan, tidak terkecuali bank syariah. Selama covid bank syariah menunjukkan penurunan kinerj yang sangat signifikan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis, menunjukkan hasil kinerja bank syariah yang ditunjukkan oleh angka NPL ( syariah NPF ) berada pada angka rata-rata 3,06% sedangkan NPL bank konvensional berada pada angka rata-rata 2,73 sedangkan untuk angka efisiensinya yang diproksikan dengan BOPO, rata-rata BOPO bank syariah adalah 94% dan bank konvensional 71,73 %. Dari angka BOPO ini diketahui bahwa selama covid bank konvensional lebih efisien dari pada bank syariah. Dari indikator kinerja diatas, terlihat bahwa selama covid bank syariah memiliki kinerja buruk, buruknya kinerja selama covid apakah ini memeng disebabkan covid 19 atau melainkan buruknya kinerja ini sudah terjadi sebelum terjadinya covid 19 di Indonesia. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian yang berjudul analisis kinerja bank syariah sebelum dan selama covid 19 suatu studi pada bank syariah yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kinerja bank Syariah sebelum dan selama covid 19. Analisis data menggunakan uji beda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kinerja bank syariah sebelum dan selama pandemi covid 19 jika ditinjau dari segi CAR ( modal ) dan BOPO ( Efisiensi ) akan tetapi kinerja yang tinjau dari segi ROA, ROE, FDR, NPF dan dana pihak ketiga tidak terdapat perbedaan . Abstract

Edukasi mengenai pengelolaan sampah harus dilakukan sedari dini dan di setiap lapisan masyarakat. Peran perguruan tinggi sebagai lembaga pendidikan sangat diperlukan dalam mensosialisasikan program pengelolaan sampah. Berdasarkan hal ini tim pengabdian dosen FEB Unilak akan memberikan edukasi sehingga budaya pengelolaan sampah dan cinta lingkungan ini dapat tumbuh pada diri masyarakat pada umum dan anak-anak sekolah pada khususnya. Berdasarkan hal ini Kami tim pengabdian dosen FEB unilak untuk kedua kalinya melakukan pengabdian dalam rangka membentuk karakter siswa sejak dini cinta lingkungan melalui edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan eco enzim, yang mana setelah semester lalu kami mengadakan pengabdian dalam bentuk sosialisasi dan edukasi zero waste. Sebagai mitra kami dalam hal ini adalah SMK Muhamadiyah 2 Pekanbaru yang mempunyai Misi Menumbuh kembangkan budaya hidup hemat energi, cinta kebersihan, dan keindahan serta kelestarian lingkungan bagi seluruh warga sekolahnya. Kegiatan pelatihan membuat ecoenzyme dipraktekkan di hadapan para siswa dan guru, termasuk kepala sekolah yang terlihat antusias karena kegiatan ini sangat mendukung kurikulum sekolah dengan topik berwawasan lingkungan. Guru dan siswa terlibat dalam pembuatan ecoenzyme yang dipraktekkan oleh narasumber yang merupakan dosen pertanian Unilak. Abstract

Kedungsari sub-district is the most densely populated area in Sukajadi sub-district, if housewives want to do cultivation such as making a living pharmacy or gardening vegetables it is not possible because of the unavailability of land for farming. Kedungsari Village is currently actively increasing the activities of PKK women where women are grouped into business groups where most of the members are housewives. Starting from a meeting with one of the PKK administrators in the village, he also said that the Kedungsari village had never received an understanding of plant cultivation with water media or often called hydroponics. The purpose of holding this community service is that partners are expected to be able to plant and breed vegetable crops with hydroponic media and can take advantage of their harvests for families and to be marketed to outside parties. This activity empowers group members to support the family's economy through mentoring and counseling about hydroponic plant cultivation. The purpose of this activity is that participants are taught how to breed and grow vegetable crops using hydroponic media. The strategy used is to provide knowledge and understanding of hydroponic plant procedures by utilizing a narrow yard. All participants in this activity were women from Kedungsari Village, Sukajadi Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, which was attended by 20 participants. In understanding and using a narrow yard to grow crops with hydroponic planting media, local residents are very motivated, enthusiastic and creative by using used plastic bottles, as well as using a simple planting media module, residents can easily practice it in their yard. Apart from that, partners can also take advantage of their plant products to be marketed to other parties.

Abstract

Penanganan ini dapat dimulai dari regulasi dari masing-masing stakeholder di dunia. Pemerintah Indonesia telah mencanangkan program Indonesia Bebas Sampah 2025. Melalui Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup, pemerintah mengharapkan perubahan cara pandang masyarakat terkait sampah melalui kemandirian pengelolaan sampah. Berdasarkan hal ini Kami tim pengabdian dosen FEB unilak berupaya untuk memberikan edukasi dan menumbuhkan budaya pengelolaan sampah melalui pengenalan gerakan zero waste. Tempat pengabdian kami sebagai mitra dalam hal ini adalah Madrasah Tsanawiyah Diniyyah Puteri Pekanbaru yang mempunyai Visi dan Misi yaitu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang berkualitas dan menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang hijau, sejuk dan bersih. Budaya pengelolaan sampah harus diberikan sejak dini serta di setiap lapisan masyarakat. Oleh karena nya perlu gerakan dari berbagai elemen termasuk perguruan tinggi serta lembaga pendidikan lain dalam upaya penanggulangan sampah zero waste dengan prinsip 3R Kata Kunci : Zero Waste, 3 R, lingkungan, Sosialisasi, edukasi

Abstract

This study examines the financial management of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia and Malaysia which are the drivers of the economy in both countries, but this sector has not been able to become an independent sector and become the foundation of the national economy in both countries. The problem is that financial management in Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) ignores the importance of financial management standards, the problem is that poor financial management makes Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) insignificant in advancing the economy. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were obtained from MSME actors by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study indicate that MSME financial management in Indonesia is not as good as Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Malaysia, meaning that Malaysia has better MSME management, this can be seen from various research indicators, namely: planning indicators, budget use, recording, reporting and controlling. Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia and Malaysia when compared to Indonesian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) do not have good planning, have not carried out standard records, standardized reporting, are not concerned with standard financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow, do not have or install systems in their business units, such as control of systems and procedures, billing records of sales notes, it is very clear that Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have not done so. Meanwhile, from the other side, when compared to Indonesian MSME respondents, the level is very small, more so for micro cart businesses, small shops that are not in the form of their own buildings, the context is very small. In Malaysia, micro, small and medium enterprises are not comparable to the conditions in Indonesia, while in Malaysia, the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) already have a more appropriate place. Thus, it is easier for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Malaysia to get banking support, while Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia are still difficult to upgrade and are still difficult to enter the bank compared to Malaysia.

Abstract

This research study delves into the dynamics of employee behavior in relation to leadership and organizational culture, focusing on the roles of voice and silence as mediating variables. The study aims to understand how employees' perceptions of leadership and the prevailing organizational culture influence their decisions to speak up (voice) or withhold their opinions (silence). By investigating the mediating effects of voice and silence, the study seeks to provide insights into the intricate interplay between leadership effectiveness, organizational culture, and employee communication behavior. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to capture a comprehensive view of the subject matter. Through a survey administered to a diverse sample of employees across various industries, data will be collected regarding their perceptions of leadership styles, organizational culture dimensions, and their tendencies to engage in vocal behaviors or remain silent. Concurrently, qualitative interviews with selected participants will delve deeper into the underlying motivations, barriers, and contextual nuances shaping employees' decisions to voice their opinions or remain silent. The study hypothesizes that both leadership styles and organizational culture significantly impact employees' likelihood to engage in voice or silence behaviors. Furthermore, it posits that employees' perceptions of leadership and organizational culture act as mediating factors in this relationship. By employing advanced statistical analyses and thematic coding techniques, the study aims to validate these hypotheses and uncover potential mechanisms through which leadership and culture jointly influence employee communication behavior. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge by shedding light on the complex relationship between leadership, organizational culture, and employee communication behaviors. The study's outcomes could offer practical implications for organizational leaders and managers, helping them comprehend the importance of fostering an inclusive culture that encourages employee voice and reduces the prevalence of silence. Ultimately, the research strives to enrich the understanding of the dynamics that shape employee engagement, communication, and participation within their respective organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect firm value in companies incorporated in the LQ45 Index in Indonesia in the period 2018-2022. The data comes from companies' annual financial statements in the LQ45 Index. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling method by selecting 20 companies from a total of 45 companies in the LQ45 Index. This study covers 2018 to 2022, and data analysis was performed with panel data regression using Eviews 10 software. The results exhibited that overall, the variables of firm size, profitability, capital structure, dividend policy, and stock price positively and significantly influence firm value. Partially, the firm size variable, profitability, as measured by NPM, and capital structure, as measured by DAR, show a negative and significant influence on firm value. In contrast, ROA measures profitability, DER measures capital structure, and the stock price positively and significantly influences firm value. Dividend policy, although showing a negative influence, has no significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

Previous studies have shown that emotional intelligence plays an important role in the educational environment, especially in supporting the psychological well-being of educators. However, research linking emotional intelligence to organizational performance (OP) in the public sector is still lacking, especially among public policy management. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a causal research design with a population of state civil servants at the Siak Regency Health Office with a population of 64 people. The sampling method used in this study is the saturated sampling method. The saturated sampling method is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and distribution using google forms. The data analysis tool in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed using SmartPLS 32.9 for data processing. From the findings of this study, it was found that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance (hypothesis 1 is rejected), emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy (hypothesis 2 is accepted), self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance (hypothesis 3 is accepted) and emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance through self-efficacy (hypothesis 4 is accepted).

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the extent of the influence of leadership style, work discipline, and training on employee performance at the Meranti Islands Regency Communications, Information, Statistics, and Coding Service to analyze the extent of the influence of leadership style, work discipline, and training simultaneously on employee performance in the Department Informatics Communication, Statistics, and Coding, Meranti Islands Regency. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, with data analysis techniques using research instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results found that leadership style, work discipline, and training had a positive and significant influence on employee performance at the Meranti Islands Regency Communications, Information, Statistics, and Coding Service. Based on the results of the correlation coefficient analysis, it can be concluded that leadership style, work discipline, and training have a simultaneous or joint influence on improving employee performance at the Meranti Islands Regency Communications, Information, Statistics, and Coding Service. So it can be said that the fourth hypothesis proposed is proven to be true
