Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi komunikasi kini berkembang pesat dan merubah pola berkomunikasi pada individu yang menggunakannya. Hampir 95% kini individu mengakses jejaring sosial. Jejaring sosial diminati karena memiliki kemampuan untuk saling terhubung dengan cepat antara satu domain komunitas dengan domain komunitas lainnya.Komunitas sendiri terjadi karena adanya kesamaan minat atau ketertarikan.Teknologi kini merambah keberbagai elemen kehidupan, tidak terkecuali bagi komunitas-komunitas tertentu.  Hal ini dimanfaatkan oleh komunitas kaum LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Biseksual dan Transgender) gay untuk berinteraksi sesamanya tanpa merasa berbeda bila berkomunikasi dengan minat yang sama. Dalam pengoprasianya, masih terdapat penyembunyan identitas diri pada dunia virtual. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan paradigma konstrutifis dengan metode virtual ethnografi melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah mengenai representasi identitas diri yang digunakan pada dunia virtual bagi kaum Gay pada jejaring sosial Grindr bahwa adanya makna yang menunjukan pada diri mereka dalam identitas yang digunakan di dunia virtual sebagai maksud dan tujuan mereka berkomunikasi melalui jejaring sosial tersebut. Kata Kunci: Identitas Virtual, Etnografi, Social Media Grindr. ABSTRACTThe development of communication technology is now growing rapidly and changing communication patterns in individuals who use it. Nearly 95% of individuals now access social networks. Social networking is in demand because it has the ability to connect quickly with one community domain with another community domain. The community itself occurs because of similar interests or interests. Technology is now reaching various elements of life, not least for certain communities. This is used by gay LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) communities to interact with each other without feeling different when communicating with the same interests. In the operation, there is still a hidden identity in the virtual world. This study will use the constructivist paradigm with virtual ethnographic methods through a qualitative approach. The results obtained in this study are about the representation of self-identity used in the virtual world for Gay people on Grindr's social network that there are meanings that show themselves in identities that are used in the virtual world as their intent and purpose to communicate through social networks. Keywords: Virtual Identity, Ethnography, Grindr Social Media.

Abstract

Young entrepreneurs are now seen as having the potential to become the backbone or support for the country's economy. The problems of young entrepreneurs are still closely related to the difficulty of marketing. One of the factors that causes the distribution of goods to be less widespread is because young entrepreneurs have not done online marketing. Empowerment of young entrepreneurs is believed to be able to provide more benefits to businesses. But how business actors can make it part of a strategy that supports businesses in their respective core activities and supply chains is still an obstacle. The solution offered in this service program is to provide training and assistance that focuses on improving the ability of young entrepreneurs in the field of marketing communication through the website. For this reason, several sub-discussions will lead to promotion through the website, improving product quality through innovation and the use of technology. This program is carried out with the aim of encouraging and increasing the productivity of the young entrepreneurial community in Prumpung, East Jakarta so that they have both hard skills and soft skills so that they are able to be economically and socially independent.

Abstract

Brand is an important concept in the marketing of products, booth goods and services. Giving a city a brand is needed to provide an identity for the city. With a strong brand, a city can "sell itself" and open up more extensive employment opportunities, both through tourism excellence (culinary, tourism, handicraft, arts, and culture), as an education center, as well as industry excellence that has the potential to attract investors inside and outside country. Banda Aceh, which is reported strictly with Islamic values, often makes this city unworthy of being a tourist destination. By promoting Islamic tourism, Banda Aceh still lacks in tourist arrivals, though many of Banda Aceh's culture and tourist destinations are fascinating to visit. Given the importance of communicating the superiority of destination related to Banda Aceh, stakeholder training needs to be developed in developing a city branding strategy. Stakeholders have an essential role in promoting the image of the city, primarily through various media. This training focuses on providing insights and knowledge, as well as skills in developing attractive and effective city branding strategies through multiple media to communicate the image of Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology during the Covid-19 pandemic turned out to have an important role in communication and information. However, the limited space for movement due to the extended PPKM provides opportunities to access social media in a short time. The intensity of using social media for too long can affect the mental health of themselves not only in adolescents, it can also affect children at an early age. This Community Service Activity (PkM) was carried out at the Sekolah Teman Belajar, Cipinang East Jakarta, where there was still a lack of knowledge about the use of social media and lack of awareness of parents in assisting their children. The purpose of the service activities carried out is to provide understanding through digital literacy methods in the formation of self-esteem with national insight. The implementation method is carried out in the form of providing assistance and training to students by involving the parents of students. Then, provide an understanding of digital parenting, where as parents must also follow the development of content packaged through social media. In addition, students who are still at an early age are introduced to wayang characters, namely Arjuna and Srikandi which are packaged through animated videos. The results of the activity showed that the participants understood the explanation given by the facilitator. Then with an interactive experience sharing approach that implements 5W + 1H there is self-disclosure to students, in this case they want to make story ideas which later on from the results of the story ideas are depicted in the animated video of Arjuna and Srikandi as icons of my friends. The process of making story ideas is a process of forming self-esteem, then participants are equipped to invite families to create entertaining content by raising cultural values as the theme on both TikTok and Instagram, this aims as an effort to form national identity.

Abstract

This service aims to provide training related to financial reporting of non-profit oriented entities (EBNL) to the Radiyatan Mardiyah Foundation (YRM), Prumpung Tengah, East Jakarta based on the digital-based Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards (ISAK). The problems faced by the YRM as a non-profit oriented entity (EBNL) are the newly established foundation and the preparation of financial reports based on accounting standards that have been made by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) according to the needs of each entity. The limited understanding of the Foundation's management related to internal/external communication and financial reporting based on certain standards is an important thing to be facilitated by providing internal/external communication training for organizational strengthening and preparation of financial reports based on ISAK 35. In addition, the demands for rapid technological development have become focus of this service activity is to facilitate foundation management to make digital-based reports, so that financial reports can be made easily. The method of training and socialization activities is carried out with an online system due to the Covid 19 pandemic conditions. Training activities are carried out with pre-test stages, presentation of training materials, discussions and questions and answers. The pre-test results concluded that the foundation management mostly understood the simple financial statements but did not understand ISAK 35. The training focuses on explaining financial statements based on SAK 35. Furthermore, after the training is carried out socialization of web-based financial statements. The socialization of digital-based financial reports based on ISAK 35 was carried out to explain to the management, especially the finance and accounting divisions so that they understand how to record all transactions using the system built. There is limited time of the service activity then the continuation of this activity is to conduct assistance in the form of monitoring and evaluations of implementation ISAK 35 in YRM.

Abstract

The community service aims to provide training and assistance related to the transparency and accountability of the foundation from law, communication, accounting, and information technology at the Radiyatan Mardiyah Foundation (YRM) Prumpung East Jakarta. Currently, YRM is facing several problems, that is does not have a deed of establishment of the foundation. In addition, YRM's financial statements are still simple and have not made financial statements based on the Foundation's financial accounting standards (Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards/ISAK 35). This problem is due to the limited understanding of the foundation management related to the transparency and accountability of the foundation. These limitations are important to be facilitated by providing training and assistance related to transparency from the perspective of law, communication, accounting, and information technology. This activity builds a YRM web and financial report application based on information technology based ISAK 35. The foundation's transparency and accountability training from law, communication, accounting, and informatics techniques was felt by participants to provide additional knowledge and understanding related to the foundation's transparency and accountability. Participants were satisfied with the material provided because it was in accordance with the information needs that were needed by the foundation management. This activity provides benefits for trainees on how important transparency and accountability are for the foundation. The output of this service is that YRM immediately has a legal entity and is able to implement the information technology-based financial statements based on ISAK 35.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain data on the shift in cultural values in the customs of marriage traditions in Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency. The research was conducted in Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency for 5 months from August 2023 to December 2023. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method that is carried out through observations, observations, and in-depth interviews with customary heads, village heads, RT/RW and the Community. The results of this study resulted in the existence of a shift in customs that occurred in the Manna community of South Bengkulu Regency along with the development of the times and the progress of science and technology, another thing that makes the shift is a fairly large budget for traditional indecisive processions, making people choose modern or ordinary wedding processions.

Abstract

Puppets are not only entertainment but also reflect philosophical values. Arimbi Ngadeg Ratu, an Indonesian rod puppet, is full of wise advice, moral teachings, and philosophical phrases about politics and power. In emphasizing gender and leadership, women occupy roles defined in their specific positions within the hierarchy and simultaneously function within the constraints of their gender roles. This study uses the Gadamer hermeneutic for interpretation; the method is based on experience, history, and tradition from a cultural feminism perspective. Research findings show the role and position of women as mothers who nurture and educate their children to be good leaders. Women have complementary roles and positions in their families, but they must be able to be independent. Women also have the right to assemble, rehearse, lead an organization, and have the freedom to make their own choices. Women also have the same abilities as men to become political leaders and have equal opportunities to compete for power. Leadership roles for women are achieved by fighting in the realm of patriarchal norms. Reframing the image of women's political leadership from a gender viewpoint that considers keeping values and principles an operation of feminism seems proper.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya penonton series Layangan Putus yang mengusung genre keluarga, dimana topik terkait keluarga menjadi perbincangan yang hangat di kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana pemaknaan penonton mengenai film series Layangan Putus.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana pemaknaan para penonton dari Layangan Putus tentang keluarga ideal yang mereka inginkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode analisis resepsi Stuart Hall dengan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kode-kode dominan, negosiasi, dan oposisional. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam (In-Depth Interview) dan Triagulator sumber. Informan disini dibagi menjadi tiga posisi makna miliki Stuart Hall yaitu Dominan hegemonic position, Negotiated position, dan Oppositional position. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa para informan berada di masing-masing posisi. Satu di posisi dominan, Satu di posisi negosiasi dan dua di posisi oposisi. Latar belakang kehidupan dan pengalaman juga mempengaruhi cara informan dalam memberikan makna.

Abstract

Proses komodifikasi terjadi selama fase produksi, ketika kapitalis membeli barang, tenaga kerja, dan peralatan untuk menciptakan nilai lebih yang dapat digunakan untuk akumulasi modal lebih lanjut. Modal adalah nilai yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pertukaran dan produksi. Fokus penelitian ini pada analisis semiotika sosial Halliday terhadap iklan televisi sirup marjan versi tarian betawi dan sepatu roda. Terlihat adanya komodifikasi tarian Topeng Betawi yang merupakan bagian dari budaya Betawi yang terkenal di tengah masyarakat Indonesia. Sama halnya dengan asal muasal dan makna dari tari Topeng Betawi dengan tujuan Marjan dalam meningkatkan penjualan produknya melalu strategi komunikasi dan pemasaran yaitu iklan. Ide adegan perempuan berlatih di halaman depan rumah joglo Betawi menjadi titik tolak proses komodifikasi budaya. Ideologi kapitalis yang mengabdi pada kepentingan kapital menjadi motor penggerak proses komodifikasi. Kekuatan pasar adalah kekuatan pendorong komodifikasi. Diharapkan kedepannya para pembuat iklan mampu memahami dan memperhatikan jalan cerita dan penokohan yang dibuat untuk iklan tersebut, serta tujuan penjualannya dan mampu memberikan pengaruh positif kepada masyarakat.
