Abstract

 Klaten Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java province that has a regional character that is vulnerable to several natural disasters. Two potential disasters that have been known to the wider community, even internationally, are the eruption of Merapi and earthquake. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of Muhammdiyah Middle School in the Wedi District of Klaten Regency for the Implementation of the Disaster Preparedness School and to find out the efforts of the Muhammadiyah Middle School in the Wedi District of Klaten Regency to support disaster preparedness in schools. The method of data analysis in this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the level of readiness of students and teachers of Muhammadiyah Middle School and Muhammadiyah Vocational Schools, especially the high level Wedi sub-district in the sense that the school was ready for the implementation of disaster preparedness schools, even though they did not meet the procedures for disaster preparedness schools. As an effort, these schools still have very little effort in disaster preparedness due to factors in human resources that lack knowledge of disasters.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to evaluate the implementation of individual counseling results at Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Senior High School. Evaluation model used was gap (discrepancy evaluation model). In addition, population in this research was students who had attended individual counseling. Furthermore, research samples were 104 students, obtained by using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection used was individual counseling scale. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings indicated that the majority of individual counseling results was in good criteria.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hasil pelaksanaan layanan konseling individual di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah kesenjangan (discrepancy evaluation model). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang pernah mengikuti layanan konseling individual. Teknik proportionate stratified random sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan skala hasil layanan konseling individual. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas hasil layanan konseling individual masuk pada kriteria baik

Abstract

Spatial thinking ability is a person's ability to represent an object around him that is associated with natural events. MTsN 5 Klaten is one of the schools that has experienced flooding. This study aims to (1) analyze the spatial thinking skills of MTsN 5 Klaten students, (2) analyze the location knowledge of students at MTsN 5 Klaten regarding flood disaster vulnerability, and (3) analyze the relationship between spatial thinking skills and location knowledge of students in MTsN 5 Klaten. This type of research is quantitative research. The total population of this study was all students of MTsN 5 Klaten, amounting to 348 students. The sample of this study amounted to 103 students who were taken by purposive sampling method because grade IX students had experienced flooding at MTsN 5 Klaten. Data collection techniques with interviews and observation questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and correlation tests. The results showed that: 1) the spatial thinking ability of class IX students at MTsN 5 Klaten was in the medium category, with an average score of 40.78. 2) The ability of students' location knowledge to flood disaster vulnerability is included in the medium category with an average value of 75.01. 3) There is a relationship between the ability to think spatially and the location knowledge of students at MTsN 5 Klaten against the flood disaster. This can be seen from the value of t-count (7.22), which is greater than the t-table (1.66), so Ho is rejected, and H1 is accepted. The Rxy correlation test value is 0.583, included in the medium level with a coefficient of determination of 0.33 at a significance level of 5%.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country with a total area of 189,241,009 hectares with amazing food security potential. The issue of land conversion is a barrier for Indonesia to achieve this potential. Therefore, the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency issued Decree No. 1589/SK-HK.02.01/XII/2021 on the Determination of Protected Paddy Fields Map. The Decree of the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency on Protected Paddy Fields (LSD) is applied to 8 provinces throughout Indonesia, one of which is West Java Province, so Cimahi City also has the responsibility to implement this Protected Paddy Fields (LSD) program. In achieving the objective to see the implementation of Protected Paddy Fields (LSD) in Cimahi City, researchers used land cover analysis, overlay, SWOT. Land cover analysis resulted in a time lapse from 2012 to 2022 with the initial rice field area of 591.89 Ha reduced to 323.63 Ha. The results of the LSD overlay analysis with the Spatial Pattern stated that the LSD that can be maintained is 33.03 Ha. The results of SWOT analysis of X and Y coefficients (2.33, 1.44) on SWOT analysis show that it is located in quadrant I, namely Aggressive, quadrant I provides strict direction that maintaining LSD is mandatory.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik modeling simbolik yang diberikan dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap perilaku prokrastinasi akademik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Adapun dalam pemlihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah siswa 8 orang. Dari data pretest dan posttest menunjukan nilai rata-rata sebelum diberikan treatment layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling simbolik adalah 87,25 yang termasuk kategori tinggi dan setelah diberikan treatment menunjukan penuruan dengan nilai rata-rata 48,75 Kemudian hasil hitung uji paired sample t test menunjukan hasil nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukan bahwa pemberian layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik modeling simbolik terbukti berpengaruh dalam mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian berikutnya dan dapat menjadi salah satu strategi dalam mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the assertive behavior of students who are victims of verbal bullying at SMP Negeri 27 Samarinda City through assertive training techniques in group counseling services. The subjects of the study were grade VIII students who were identified as experiencing bullying and had difficulty expressing their feelings, based on the results of AKPD and interviews with BK teachers. The method used was Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection techniques included assertive scales, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed an increase in assertive behavior after assertive training was given, such as the courage to express opinions, defend personal rights, and reject verbal pressure more confidently. Thus, the conclusion in this study is that assertive training has been proven effective in improving assertive behavior and can be used as an alternative intervention in guidance and counseling services

Abstract

Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to face challenges and complete certain tasks. Based on the results of the pre-study, it shows low student self-efficacy, which is in accordance with the results of AKPD, observations, and interviews with BK teachers. This study aims to prove solution-focused career counseling services as an intervention in improving the self-efficacy of Samarinda high school students. This study uses an experimental research method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design and a quantitative approach. The determination of the subjects of this study used non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique of 9 students. The solution-focused career counseling service intervention was carried out in 7 meetings. The results of this study showed an increase in student self-efficacy, namely an average pre-test score of 74.8 and an average post-test score of 104.5. The results of data analysis showed that the sig. value in the pre-test was 0.054> 0.05 and the post-test was 0.761> 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the data is normally distributed. The results of the paired sample t test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.005. So it can be concluded that solution-focused career counseling can be applied to improve the self-efficacy of high school students in Samarinda.

Abstract

Tindakan kekerasan seperti bullying masih marak terjadi di berbagai jenjang pendidikan, dari sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk menganalisis upaya preventif melalui pelatihan asertif adalah langkah penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman dan kondusif. Metode yang digunakan adalah practical action research, dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sesi pelatihan melibatkan diskusi, role play, dan tanya-jawab untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan asertif yang dapat diterapkan dalam interaksi sosial. Subjek pengabdian menunjukkan 10 siswa. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam keberanian siswa untuk menyampaikan pendapat dan menanggapi situasi konflik secara konstruktif. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan asertif berhasil mengurangi frekuensi perilaku bullying dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman. Kegiatan pengabdian di SMP Negeri 4 dan SMP Negeri 5 Samarinda berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan asertif siswa melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan asertif. Meskipun SMP Negeri 5 mengalami kendala akibat kebakaran, pelatihan tetap berjalan efektif dengan penyesuaian jadwal dan metode pembelajaran. Simpulan pengabdian menunjukkan pelatihan asertif menjadi intervensi yang efektif untuk mencegah bullying dan meningkatkan kualitas interaksi di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the factors influencing the development of leadership character among prospective guidance and counseling teachers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mulawarman University. The study employs a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The data was collected from eight students from the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, spanning the years 2021 to 2024, using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The study identifies both supporting and inhibiting factors in leadership character development. Supporting factors include internal elements such as cognitive and affective aspects, and external factors including family, social, and academic environments. In contrast, inhibiting factors involve internal challenges like insecurity and lack of experience, and external barriers such as insufficient support from family or peers. The findings highlight that fostering self-confidence, engaging in positive social environments, and participating in extracurricular activities are crucial to developing leadership qualities. Implications for educational institutions include the need for targeted curricula and support systems to nurture these traits among future educators. This study provides practical recommendations for enhancing leadership skills in guidance and counseling programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan: (1) menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan guru geografi SMA mengenai sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis di Kabupaten Klaten. (2) menganalisis tingkat pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis oleh guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Klaten. (3) menganalisis tingkat keberlanjutan pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis oleh guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Klaten. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru geografi pada jenjang SMA di Kabupaten Klaten yang berjumlah 46 responden dengan teknik sampling adalah sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tingkat pengetahuan guru geografi SMA mengenai sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis di Kabupaten Klaten berada pada kategori sedang dengan skor 6,67. (2) tingkat pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis oleh guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Klaten berada pada kategori rendah dengan skor 29.87. (3) tingkat keberlanjutan pemanfaatan sumber belajar digital pada pembelajaran sistem informasi geografis oleh guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Klaten berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai 54,17.
