Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, job placement and career development on the performance of Civil Servants at the Office of Industry and Trade of Maluku Province. Methods This research uses survey research methods and explanatory research types. The population in this study were 80 employees of the Maluku Province Industry and Trade Office, and the sample used in this study were 48 civil servants. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS v 26 (2023). The results of the study show that partially competence has a significant effect on performance, partially work placement has a significant effect on performance, partially career development has no significant effect on performance. For further research it is suggested to be able to study other variables that can affect performance

Abstract

The National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, hereinafter abbreviated as POLRI, is a state instrument that plays a role in maintaining public order and security, enforcing the law, and providing protection, protection and service to the community in the context of maintaining domestic security. The method of collecting primary data from respondents was carried out by survey method through distributing questionnaires given to respondents. Survey is a primary data collection method by providing written questions to respondents Respondents in this study were Budget User Authorities (KPA) who worked for the Maluku Regional Police. The research data consisted of 34 questionnaires delivered directly to the respondents who were the object of research. Of the 34 questionnaires sent, all participated in this study because the completed questionnaires were returned in full so they were feasible for analysis in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture, work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Maluku Provincial Transportation Office. The method used in this study is a quantitative method involving all civil servants (PNS) of the Maluku Province Transportation Service, totaling 62 people as a population. The sample in this study amounted to 54 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is stratified random sampling. The measurement tool used is SPSS version 26. The results of the study show thatOrganizational culture partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Maluku Province Transportation Service, as evidenced by the tcount = 2.377 greater than the ttable = 1.675, work motivation partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Maluku Province Transportation Service, evidenced by the tcount = 2.158 greater than the value of ttable = 1.675 and work discipline partially has a significant effect on employee performance at the Maluku Provincial Transportation Office,evidenced by the value of tcount = 2,964 greater than the value of ttable = 1,675. The better the application of organizational culture, the better the performance of employees, as well as if the higher the motivation and work discipline, the higher the performance of employees. Conversely, the lower the application of organizational culture, work motivation and work discipline, the lower the employee performance. This means that the research hypothesis can be accepted.

Abstract

The study explores various concepts such as human capital, social capital, innovation capability, and performance. Human capital, involving skills, knowledge, and abilities, is crucial for organizational performance, and the higher level of education positively associates with better performance. Social capital encompasses networks, relationships, and shared norms that facilitate innovation by fostering an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas and resources. Innovation capability refers to an organization's capacity to adopt and employ technology to develop products, services, or processes that contribute to competitiveness and adaptability. This study formulates hypotheses aiming to establish relationships between human capital, social capital, innovation capability, and organizational performance. The proposed hypotheses suggest the influence of human capital and social capital on innovation capability and performance. A quantitative approach was utilized through explanatory research, investigating specific populations within Telkom Ambon Branch, using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The study’s findings present insightful conclusions regarding the relationships between the variables. Human capital positively influences performance and innovation capability, while social capital has a positive effect on innovation capabilities but negatively impacts employee performance. Moreover, innovation capability positively impacts organizational performance. The examination further elucidates the mediation role of innovation capability between human capital, social capital, and employee performance. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the relationships between human capital, social capital, innovation capability, and performance within an organizational context. The study's outcomes offer valuable insights for management and decision-makers in fostering sustainable competitive advantages and driving innovation within organizations.

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The population used in this study was 40 lecturers at Lelemuku Saumlaki University. The sample used in this study was 40 respondents, as a sampling method was used, namely total sampling, in which the total population was used as a sample. Therefore the number of samples used in this study were 40 lecturers at Lelemuku Saumlaki University. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis assisted by using SPSS 26 software.Situational leadership style, work environment and organizational commitment partially and simultaneously significant effect onperformance of Lelemuku Saumlaki Higher Education Foundation lecturers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja non fisik dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PPNPN Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pattimura Ambon melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai PPNPN yang bekerja di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pattimura Ambon dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 42 responden. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan sumber data menggunakan data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui google form. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara langsung, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai PPNPN FEBIS UNPATTI. Namun hasil temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel moderasi. Hal ini berarti bahwa kepuasa kerja tidak memberikan signifikansi yang relevan ketika dijadikan sebagai variabel moderasi. Kemudian keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini adalah responden yang terlibat hanya Pegawai PPNPN FEBIS UNPATTI. Untuk itu, bagi penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menambahkan variabel lain dan menambahkan responden dari Fakultas maupun Universitas lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Pariwisata Berbasis Masyarakat sebagai strategi pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Desa Sawai, Maluku Tengah. Desa Sawai yang terkenal dengan daya tarik wisata alam, bahari, dan budayanya, telah menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat setempat dalam mengelola aset pariwisata, termasuk wisata pantai, alam, dan budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan lokal seperti pemerintah desa, POKDARWIS (kelompok pariwisata lokal), anggota masyarakat, dan perwakilan dari pemerintah Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran terstruktur tentang praktik-praktik Pariwisata Berbasis Masyarakat dan dampaknya terhadap aspek ekonomi, sosial, budaya, lingkungan, dan politik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT memberdayakan masyarakat lokal, memungkinkan pertumbuhan ekonomi, konservasi lingkungan, dan pelestarian budaya sambil mendorong kolaborasi di antara para pemangku kepentingan. Kehadiran POKDARWIS terbukti efektif dalam mengkoordinasikan upaya-upaya ini, memastikan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata Desa Sawai selaras dengan praktik-praktik berkelanjutan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa Pariwisata Berbasis Masyarakat merupakan model yang tepat untuk mendorong pariwisata berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di daerah pedesaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja karyawan pada hotel di Kecamatan Nusaniwe kota Ambon. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya organisasi dan pemberian insentif, untuk variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan sampel purposive. Sampel peneltian adalah karyawan hotel Tirta Kencana dan Collin Beach Hotel dengan jumlah Sampel sebanyak 36 karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara budaya organisasi dan kinerja karyawan, ditunjukan dengan hasil uji t yaitu nilai t hitung sebesar 2,650 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,012<0,05. (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja karyawan hotel tirta kencana dan collin beach hotel, ditunjukan dengan hasil uji t yaitu nilai t hitung 5,122 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0.05.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Talent Management (TM) and Knowledge Management (KM) on Employee Performance (EP), with Employee Engagement (EE) as a mediating variable, within the context of the Maluku Provincial Transportation Department. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, this research analyzes both direct and indirect relationships among these variables. The findings indicate that TM has a positive and significant effect on EP, demonstrating that strategic talent acquisition, competency development, and career planning enhance employee productivity. Conversely, KM does not directly influence EP, suggesting that knowledge-sharing mechanisms alone are insufficient to improve performance outcomes. However, mediation analysis reveals that EE plays a crucial role in strengthening both TM-EP and KM-EP relationships, highlighting the necessity of engagement-driven frameworks to maximize talent and knowledge utilization. Furthermore, EE exhibits a strong positive effect on EP, reinforcing the importance of fostering workplace motivation, participation, and job satisfaction. These results provide valuable insights for public sector HR management, emphasizing the need for policy reforms that integrate talent retention, structured learning initiatives, and engagement-driven leadership strategies. Given the increasing demands for efficiency and workforce optimization in government institutions, adopting TM, KM, and EE-based HR models will be instrumental in enhancing employee performance and ensuring long-term institutional success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, penerapan Balanced Scorecard, dan penggunaan sistem informasi e-Monev terhadap kinerja pelayanan sumber daya manusia (SDM). Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif berperan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas serta kepuasan kerja karyawan. Balanced Scorecard digunakan sebagai alat ukur strategis yang membantu organisasi dalam mengevaluasi kinerja Pelayan, proses internal, serta pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan SDM Jemaat GPM Imanuel Klasis Kota Ambon. Sementara itu, implementasi sistem informasi e-Monev memungkinkan monitoring dan evaluasi berbasis digital yang lebih akurat serta transparan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data melalui teknik regresi berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap 38 SDM yaitu Majelis yang terlibat dalam pelayanan jemaat GPM Imanuel Klasis Kota Ambon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja yang baik secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kinerja pelayanan SDM. Selain itu, penerapan Balanced Scorecard memberikan dampak positif dalam pengambilan keputusan dan strategi organisasi, sedangkan penggunaan sistem informasi e-Monev mempercepat proses evaluasi serta meningkatkan akuntabilitas kinerja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi lingkungan kerja yang mendukung, penerapan Balanced Scorecard, dan sistem informasi e-Monev dalam meningkatkan kinerja SDM dalam pelayanan jemaat. Rekomendasi diberikan agar organisasi semakin memperkuat kebijakan dan strategi berbasis digital guna meningkatkan efektivitas serta kualitas pelayanan.
