Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melatih para Mahasiswa PGMI sebagai calon guru agar dapat membuat media pembelajaran membaca yang edukatif berbasis DIY. DIY dengan kepanjangan Do It Yourself (Lakukan Sendiri) merupakan aktivitas membuat kerajinan tangan dengan barang-barang yang ada di sekitar lingkungan rumah. Kegiatan ini muncul karena adanya keterbatasan bagi mahasiswa dalam mempraktikkan Mata Kuliah Metode Pengembangan Membaca MI sehingga membutuhkan media yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas. Media yang dibuat berasal dari alat dan bahan sederhana. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 11 peserta yang berlangsung selama satu hari. Tahapan kegiatannya meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap monitoring, dan tahap evaluasi. Peserta dilatih untuk berinovasi dan berkreasi dalam membuat media membaca sederhana yang edukatif dan aplikatif bagi para siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan respon yang sangat positif. Para mahasiswa telah membuat tiga media membaca edukatif yang mudah digunakan dan menyenangkan untuk dipelajari, mulai dari taman abjad, roda eja, hingga silsilah keluarga. Dengan demikian, upaya untuk memfasilitasi proses pembelajaran membaca dapat teratasi dan proses pembelajaran semakin efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga semakin terstimulasi untuk menghasilkan media membaca edukatif lainnya guna mendukung keberhasilan proses pembelajarannya kelak.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a video media for internalizing students' moral values ​​based on theoanthropopoecocentric at UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan, using the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results show that the analysis of student needs really likes videos in the form of live dialogues, videos taken around the dormitory, using Indonesian, duration less than 10-15 minutes, using additional text and musical accompaniment. The scene contains morals of mutual respect, responsibility and fairness with an introduction to the campus at the beginning of the video. The design of the video media starts from determining the flow, preparing the material in the video, then continuing with development based on the assessment of media and material experts. The results of the implementation and evaluation of the video media are that students can easily understand the video and its objectives and are very inspired and touched so that they feel interested in internalizing the concept of theoanthropopoecocentric, providing a deeper understanding of living life and students realize the importance of morals that are not only oriented towards themselves.

Abstract

The phenomenon of declining moral values and religious attitudes among students—such as a lack of courtesy, increased violence, and low empathy—has become a serious concern in the field of education. To address this issue, one approach that has been implemented is the Joyful School Movement (Gerakan Sekolah Menyenangkan, or GSM). GSM aims to create a friendly and enjoyable learning environment that supports the development of positive character traits, including students’ religious attitudes. This study employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, focusing on the direct experiences of students, teachers, and school principals in implementing GSM. The findings indicate that GSM is carried out through humanistic learning, regular religious activities such as group prayers and discussions, the use of religious visual media, and the involvement of student religious organizations (ROHIS). The positive impacts include increased student participation in religious activities, greater awareness of worship practices, and the emergence of polite, disciplined, and responsible behavior. The success of GSM is supported by the school’s commitment, the availability of facilities, and parental involvement. However, challenges remain, such as the low awareness among some students, a shortage of religious mentors, external environmental influences, and limited time.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the tradition of Nahdlatul Ulama scholars in the field of education in the Tabagsel. This research method is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The instrument used in this research is descriptive analysis. Collecting data obtained from the field and then carried out data classification. The classified data is then processed and analyzed based on what is found according to the point of view. From this analysis, an analysis is carried out by confirming the findings related to the data which will be discussed in detail in a result and discussion. The results of the study indicate that the tradition of the ulama in the Nahdlatul Ulama organization has gone hand in hand with the times. The tradition of the ulama in the Nahdhatul Ulama organization, especially in the field of education. Researcher suggestions for the development of educational institutions need to be pursued in order to improve the quality and quantity of graduates. For researchers, it is hoped that they will continue to deepen their research at Nahdlatul Ulama, especially in the field of the educational process.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and potential improvements of the roles and responsibilities of Musyrif/Musyrifah at Ma’had Al-Jamiah UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan, focusing on the role of active students serving in these positions. Through document analysis, interviews with key stakeholders, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), the study identifies a significant imbalance between the academic responsibilities of student Musyrif/ah and their duties in dormitory mentoring and management. The indings of the research suggest that the transitionto full-time Musyrif/ah—individuals who are not concurrently enrolled in academicstudies—has the potential to enhance the effectiveness of the mentoring system and dormitoru management. However, the main challenges such as limited funding and infrastructure become obstacles to the implementasion of this programam. The study also highlights the importance of ongoing training and development programs to improve the competencies and qualifications of Musyrif/ah, including  the integrating technology into their roles. Based on these findings, the researchers recommendstrategic policies such as the recruitment of full-time professional Musyrif/ah, the allocationof special funds for dormitory operations, the provision of certified training, and the strengthening of the performance evaluation system. These reforms are considered essential to optimize the Musyrif/ah system to improve the quality of student guidance and management of Ma’had in Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Era digital membawa perubahan banyak dalam aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam  bidang pendidikan. Teknologi infomasi dan komunikasi (TIK) berkembang sangat pesat dam membawa perubahan besar bagi kehidupan manusia, baik dalam belajar, berinteraksi dan berperilaku termasuk peserta didik disekolah dasar. Dalam hal ini peran pendidikan agama islam sangat penting agar peserta didik tetap berpegang teguh terhadap nilai-nilai islam dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Pendidikan islam tidak hanya berfokus pada kognitif tapi juga berfokus pada perkembangan prilaku dan tingkah laku peserta didik yang harus sesuai dengan nilai- nilai ajaran islam. Di era digital sekarang peserta didik harus tetap memiliki karakter yang mencerminkan ajaran islam seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kesopanan, dan toleransi. Oleh karena itu peran pendidikan islam sangat dibutuhkan di era sekaraang ini agar peserta didik tidak melengceng dari nilai-nilai ajaran agama islam.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the variation in the quality of Qur’an recitation among female students (mahasantriah). The research aims to analyze the management of Qira’ah Al-Qur’an mentoring at Ma’had Al-Jami’ah, UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan, by examining the functions of management: planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and continuous evaluation. The findings indicate that the management of Qira’ah Al-Qur’an mentoring has been implemented effectively and in a structured manner, starting from planning based on placement tests, clear organization of human resources, scheduled instructional activities, to a tiered system of supervision and evaluation. This implementation contributes significantly to improving the quality of Qur’an recitation among the mahasantriah, especially in the aspects of makharijul huruf, fluency, and mastery of tajwid. However, the study also identifies the need for innovation in instructional methods and the development of more standardized evaluation instruments to achieve more optimal outcomes. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a reference for the development of Qur’an mentoring programs in similar educational institutions.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas cara belajar Islam dengan pendekatan yang melibatkan beberapa bidang ilmu secara bersamaan. Dalam Islam, sumber pengetahuan tidak hanya berasal dari wahyu seperti Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah, tetapi juga berasal dari akal manusia, pengalaman nyata, serta perasaan hati, yang semuanya berperan penting dalam membentuk pemahaman yang utuh. Untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dalam perspektif Islam, kita menggabungkan antara wahyu, pemikiran akal, indra, serta pengalaman spiritual. Dengan demikian, ilmu yang diperoleh tidak hanya rasional, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi spiritual. Pengetahuan dalam Islam tidak hanya digunakan untuk mencapai kesejahteraan di dunia, tetapi juga untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah, membentuk sikap dan perbuatan yang baik, mendorong perkembangan peradaban, serta menjadi bekal untuk kehidupan akhirat. Dengan pendekatan multidisipliner, belajar Islam tidak hanya sebatas pada kajian agama secara normatif dan teologis, tetapi juga bisa menjawab berbagai tantangan yang muncul dalam masyarakat modern, seperti isu sosial, budaya, politik, sains, dan teknologi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa menggabungkan ilmu agama dengan ilmu umum dalam Islam dapat menghasilkan pemahaman yang terpadu, sesuai dengan konteks zaman, dan bermanfaat bagi seluruh umat manusia.

Abstract

This study focuses on the concept of ideal women according to Minangkabau philosophy. The criteria of the ideal women can be found in proverbs containing implicit meaning related to ethical values, namely the view about women's ideal morality. The interpretation can be comprehended from its function and purposes as a concept of moral and character education for the Minangkabau young generation. The study toward the character education for Minangkabau women is based on the interpretation meaning from the concept of Minangkabau ideal women became the basis fine art creative idea resulting in the icon of personal expression. This artwork was materialized into the painting symbolic expression/abstraction by borrowing the traditional idiom "Tangkuluak (Tekuluk)" a kind of Bundo Kanduang's formal outfit in the form of headgear as the traditional symbol of Minangkabau custom. The creation of this symbolic expression painting aims to preserve Minangkabau aesthetics through the materialization of paintings that takes the specific theme, Bundo Kanduang as the ideal woman of Minangkabau people. This study used a qualitative method presented in the form of descriptive analysis. Data were collected through interviews and observation.  They had emic characteristics performed in the Centre of Minangkabau Cultural Information (in Indonesia called PDIKM) in Padangpanjang and Adityawarman Museum in Padang, West Sumatra. Meanwhile, ethic research was conducted with qualitative method, namely studying the theoretical claim and interpreting the meaning of proverbs about the nobility of Bundo Kanduang.
