Abstract

The research is based on the law of mathematical disposition and the less of the students’sactivation in learning process. The research objective is to know the improvement of mathematicaldisposition which the learning process used is ASSURE learning model with conventional learning.The research is Quasi Experimental research.The research design is used Nonequivalent ControlGroup Design and sample collection technique is Sampling Purposive .The population in theresearch is the students of class 8th SMPN 1 Sumber Kabupaten Cirebon, academic year2017/2018. The sample of the research is the 8th qraders 36 th student class 8th D is classeseksperimental and 38 th student class 8th F is classes control. Based on the result of the difference ofthe average of post-test using the test of Independent Sample T-Test equals sig (2 tailed) score0,000 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. And then the difference of the average using of N-gain using thetest of Independent Sample t-test equals sig score (1 tiled) 0,0005 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. On theother hard, based on the result of questionnaire using the test of Mann Whitney U-Test egualsAsymp. Sig(2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,5 means H0 rejected. The research result shows that: Theimprovement of mathematical disposition which is using ASSURE learning model is better thanthe students who are learning by conventional learning process.Key Words: ASSURE, Mathematical Disposition.

Abstract

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the sciences that can improve conceptual understanding, reasoning, communication, and problem solving. The situation on the ground shows that these aspects have not been realized. Patterns and visualizations of geometric shapes are required to provide a good appearance so that learning objectives in understanding the concepts conveyed. Difficulties experienced by students of class X SMK XIX-3 Cirebon in learning geometry requires a solution to answer the difficulties encountered, especially in delivering the expected visual construction. Offering a solution in this research is learning with Cabri 3D media. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of 3D Cabri learning media on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students with geometrical geometry material in SMK Kartika XIX-3 Cirebon City. The sample selection in this study was done by cluster sampling technique, because the sampling method was taken by only a few classes to be used as research samples, so that in the Kartika XIX-3 Vocational School in Cirebon the sample used was Class X Nursing. The research method used in this study is the experimental method. The data obtained are then processed quantitatively by influencing test and improvement test as well as data collection techniques with tests and non tests and data analysis with inferential statistical analysis, observation guidelines and documentation.Keywords: Cabri 3D Learning Media, Understanding Mathematical Concepts

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to think high in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of high-level thinking skills of students who learned using the Project Based Learning model with conventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design and Purposive Sampling sampling technique. The population is a class VIII student of SMPN 1 Tengah Tani Cirebon Regency Academic Year 2018/ 2019. The research sample involved eighth grade students, namely 35 class VIII B students as the experimental class and 35 class VIII C students as the control class. Based on the results of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test the pretest, posttest and N-Gain values ??were normally distributed and the results of the Levene’s Test homogeneity test the pretest, posttest and N-Gain scores were homogeneous. Then the mean posttest difference test using the Independent Sample t-Test Test produces sig values. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0,05, meaning that H0 is rejected. Furthermore, the N-Gain mean difference test with the Independent Sample t-Test was obtained the sig value. (1-tailed) <0.05, ie H0 is rejected. Whereas based on the results of the questionnaire scale using Mann Whitney U-Test produces Asymp values. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 <0,05, ie H0 is rejected. The results showed that: (1) high order thinking students who learned using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model were better than students who conventional learning; (2) the improvement of high-order thinking skills of students whose learning uses the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is better than students who learn conventionally; (3) the response of students whose learning uses the Project Based Learning model is better than the students who learn conventionally. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model Project Based Learning dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya Sampling Purposive. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Tengah Tani Kabupaten Cirebon Tahun Pelajaran 2018 / 2019. Sampel penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas VIII yaitu 35 siswa kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 35 siswa kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk nilai pretes, postes dan N-Gain berdistribusi normal serta hasil uji homogenitas Levene’s Test nilai pretes, postes dan N-Gain bervariansi homogen. Kemudian uji perbedaan rerata postes mengunakan Uji Independent Sample t-Test menghasilkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 0,05, artinya H0 ditolak. Selanjutnya uji perbedaan rerata N-Gain dengan Uji Independent Sample t-Test diperoleh nilai sig. (1-tailed) 0,05, yaitu H0 ditolak. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil skala angket menggunakan Mann Whitney U-Test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, yaitu H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (High Order Thinking) siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) lebih baik daripada siswa yang pembelajarannya secara konvensional; (2) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (High Order Thinking) siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) lebih baik daripada siswa yang pembelajarannya secara konvensional; (3) respon siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning lebih baik daripada siswa yang pembelajarannya secara konvensional

Abstract

Abstract The learning process in the Covid-19 era did not allow lecturers and students to meet or conduct face-to-face meetings, so that the teaching and learning process was carried out online in accordance with campus decisions. Google Clasroom is one application that can be downloaded for free from the play store as an alternative in the formation of classes in cyberspace. This study aims to determine the response of students of Mathematics Education at the University of Muhammadiyah Cirebon who used Google Classroom after 11 meetings during the co-19 period. The method in this research is descriptive using a questionnaire distributed via Google form to students in semester 2, 4, and 6. Keywords: google classroom, online, covid-19 Abstrak Proses pembelajaran di era Covid-19 tidak memungkinkan dosen dan mahasiswa bertemu atau melakukan tatap muka secara langsung, sehingga dalam proses belajar mengajar dilakukan secara daring sesuai dengan keputusan daei kampus. Google Clasroom merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang dapat didownload secara gratis dari play store sebagai alternatif dalam pembentukan kelas di dunia maya. Abstract

The study was intended to find out the balance of the ability of mathematical understanding of the mathematical disposition of seventh graders pgri waled district cirebon. The research method used was mixed method research with sequential explanatory design design.. The quantitative data retrieval USES ethnoth-based problems to determine the students' mathematical comprehension capability, which is by combining sundandian culture into triangular and fourth matter. Whereas the dispositional data is taken through angkets created with Google form. Meanwhile, qualitative data are drawn through interview activities with selected subjects from each level of students' mathematical dispositions considering the ability of a student's mathematical understanding. Based on product product coent from Pearson acquired a sig value. (2-tailed) 0.279 > 0.05 then is accepted. Meaning there is no link between the ability of a student's mathematical understanding of the student's mathematical disposition. The result of qualitative analysis is also unequaled in the ability of a mathematical understanding of mathematical dispositions through a matter of sundanese ethnomathematically based culture. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the development of mathematics learning videos for Cartesian coordinate material assisted by YouTube social media as an alternative learning for students of SMP Negeri 1 Tengah Tani. The resulting YouTube social media assisted mathematics learning video has been developed with the Borg & Gall (1983: 775) model modified by Sugiyono (2017: 409). This study produces a mathematics learning video of Cartesian coordinate material assisted by YouTube social media as an alternative learning with the results of the assessment of material experts with an average score of 3,60 results from the curriculum experts with a score of 3.60 results from media experts with a score of 4.00 and the results of teaching teacher with an average score of 3.70 thus producing learning media with criteria "very valid". Products that have been validated by experts are then tested on students by filling in a response questionnaire to determine the level of attractiveness of the learning videos that have been developed and get an average score of 3.58 with the criteria "very interesting". Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the development of Contextual-based mathematics worksheets on Arithmetic Series material for class X SMK. This study aims (1) to develop contextual-based math worksheets on the subject matter of valid and practical arithmetic series, and (2) to find out contextual-based math worksheets on the subject matter of arithmetic series that are developed meet valid and practical criteria. The type of research used is Research & Development (R&D) or research and development. The development model used is the model proposed by Sugiono which consists of several phases, namely potential problems, data collection, product design, validation and revision. The subjects in this study were class X teachers of SMKN 1 Jamblang and lecturers of Mathematics Education, University of Muhammadiyah Cirebon. The instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets and teacher response questionnaires. Based on the results of the trials carried out, it was found that (1) the results of the LKPD validation were 4.20 which were in the valid category with an interval of 3.5 M < 4.3 , (2) the practicality validation sheet which is the practicality component obtained positive results, namely validation sheet with a positive category because it is in the interval 70% < 85%, thus the teaching materials meet the practical criteria. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan LKPD matematika berbasis Kontekstual pada materi Deret Aritmatika kelas X SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengembangkan LKPD matematika berbasis kontekstual pada pokok materi deret aritmatika yang valid dan praktis, dan (2) untuk mengetahui LKPD matematika berbasis kontekstual pada pokok materi deret aritmatika yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research & Development (R&D) atau penelitian dan pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model yang dikemukakan oleh Sugiono yang terdiri dari beberapa fase yaitu potensi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain Product, validasi dan revisi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas X SMKN 1 Jamblang dan dosen Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon guru. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa (1) hasil validasi LKPD adalah 4,20 berada pada kategori valid dengan interval 3,5 ? M < 4,3 , (2) lembar validasi kepraktisan yang merupakan komponen kepraktisan diperoleh hasil yang positif yaitu lembar validasi dengan kategori positif karena berada pada interval 70% ? ???????? < 85% dengan demikian bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria praktis. Kata kunci : Pengembangan Bahan ajar, berbasis kontekstual, valid, praktis.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of MASTER learning models (Motivating, Acquiring, Searching, Triggering, Exhibiting, and Reflecting) on mathematical literacy in terms of gender differences. The method used in this study is Quasy Experimental Design. A random sampling technique took a sample of 36 students. Data collection is carried out with written tests and documentation. The method uses an analysis of variance (ANOVA). Hypothesis testing uses two different path tests of variance analysis in cells. The results showed that there were mixed effects of each learning model on students' mathematical literacy abilities. There was no influence between female and male gender on students' mathematical literacy abilities. There was no interaction between learning models and gender differences in students' mathematical literacy abilities. The teacher must strive to improve the mathematical literacy skills of middle school students so that students are more motivated to learn. Keywords: MASTER Learning Model, Mathematical Literacy, Gender Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran MASTER (Motivating, Acquiring, Searching, Triggering, Exhibiting, and Reflecting) terhadap literasi matematis ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experimental Design. Sampel sebanyak 36 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (ANOVA). Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda antara masing-masing model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara gender perempuan dan laki-laki terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan perbedaan gender terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik SMP, pendidik harus berupaya agar peserta didik lebih termotivasi untuk belajar.
