Abstract

Indonesian is the language of Malay which is used as the official language of the Republic of Indonesia and the language of the unity of the Indonesian nation. The Indonesian language was inaugurated after the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, to be precise the day after, at the same time as the enactment of the constitution. Indonesian as the language of unity and the language of the State in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has a very dominant function in all aspects of social life. An acronym is an abbreviation in the form of a combination of letters or syllables or other parts that are written and pronounced as normal words. Acronyms, also called abbreviations, are short for a term which can be a combination of prefixed terms. Thus, an acronym stands for a term or name that is pronounced as a single word. Indonesian acronyms have a very large number of words, in general currently Indonesian acronyms are still in printed book form. The problem that is often faced by acronym dictionary users in the form of printed books is the difficulty in obtaining search results for Indonesian acronym words quickly and precisely because it must be done by opening each sheet of the book to find the acronym word being searched for. To overcome the problems described above, in this study the authors designed an Android-based Indonesian acronym application. In order to make it easier to get search results on the designed Indonesian acronym application, the authors apply the Raita algorithm in the search feature. The Raita algorithm is part of the exact string matching algorithm, which is the matching of strings precisely to the arrangement of characters in the matched string which has the same number and sequence of characters in the string. Raita designed an algorithm by comparing the last character of the pattern starting from the rightmost character from the "window".

Abstract

The problems that occur in chef selection have been carried out by the Head of Chef and most likely not all criteria for lexis are made judged, sometimes only a few criteria are assessed. A good restaurant certainly needs to reconsider the chef who will be accepted according to predetermined criteria. The success of a restaurant business in the background of pengelolahan in it, including the selection of a good chef will encourage the success of the restaurant. In dealing with chef selection problems conducted by the Head of Chef, a decision support system can be developed in the face of chef acceptance selection problems, namely by using the Composite Performance Index method. The criteria that will be used as an assessment are the taste of cuisine, experience, speed, creativity, education, and cleanliness. For this reason, the author hopes that the application system for receiving chef selection decisions using the Composite Performance Index method can facilitate Fishermen's Restaurant in the chef's reception selection.Keywords: Decision Support Systems, Chefs, Restaurants, Composite Performance Index

Abstract

In the election of the head of a nun, usually a nun who will be elected as head must be a nun who has been educated for ten years, and has been legalized as eternal vows, and meets the age of over thirty years, and six years after her eternal vows, the nun can only elected to be a head, and usually in a manual way, namely through voting the most votes, the right to become chairman is the most votes, this manual system is actually not wrong, but if the system in selecting the head of a nun that uses the manual system is not correct, Because it takes a long time to determine, vote count errors often arise, and the head of the nun who is elected as a result of the calculation process is not based on predetermined criteria, then with the new system, the election does not only use the most votes but also through the k-criteria. The riteria that has been determined in the system will get faster and more precise results in the election of the head of a nun, of course, supported by the diocesan council as the final decision maker.Therefore, to facilitate the election, you can use the Electre method which is also computerized to get better results. The Electre method (Elimination Et Choix Traduisant La Realite) is one of the methods in the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) which is based on the outranking concept using paired comparisons of the alternatives for each suitable criterion. Although it does not guarantee its efficiency, using this method can help decision makers make decisions more accurately in the selection of the Head of Nuns.

Abstract

Data is an important aspect that has important information in it, which includes numbers, characters, symbols, pictures, sounds, or other signs that can be used as information. Data are certain facts, thus producing information. Cryptography is often used to secure and encode text data, messages, or other information, so using cryptographic algorithms on text data is able to secure data that is very important to everyone. So the expected results from the RC4 Cryptography algorithm and One Time Pad, which are used in text data can help in securing or encoding very important text data, so that the text is not easy to read or know the original message.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific work that must be written by students as a requirement for the final project of education. For students who want to write a thesis, for example, students on the STMIK Budi Darma campus are required to first find a topic for the title to be submitted. The way to find thesis topic references can be done by accessing the repository application. The title of the thesis has different topics, so it takes a grouping of thesis topics. Classification or grouping of thesis titles in the repository application is very important, because with the grouping of thesis titles it will make it easier to find thesis topic information that can be used as a reference in further research. Therefore, this study aims to create a repository application that is able to group theses. This research uses three methods, namely Text Mining, TF-IDF, and cosine similarity. The thesis abstract data will be processed by Text Mining to produce sentences that represent the thesis, then weighted using TF-IDF and find the level of similarity using cosine similarity. processed. So if the percentage is only 73%.

Abstract

Unity Drumband Indonesia (PDBI) Region of North Sumatra is an organizational body engaged in sports groups, which involves players in various musical instruments. In selecting players, PDBI North Sumatra through the committee to conduct strict selection, through a judging system with several stages of a rigorous process. From the selection of participants, compare each criterion one by one to get the best athletes. Implementation of decision support systems is expected to provide the right solution and can assist the jury in generating a decision. Thus the process of selecting athletes can produce a decision directly without a long time. So that accelerate the selection process of drum band athletes who will strengthen the team of North Sumatra. The Elimination and Choice Translation Reality (ELECTRE) method is required in decision support systems for the selection of drum band athletes who will strengthen the North Sumatra team.

Abstract

The computer-based Final Semester Examination (UAS) held at the Dwiwarna Private Vocational School in Medan was carried out with the help of a web-based application. The application display is divided into two parts, namely the web client accessed by students and the web admin accessed by administrators who have authority. Exam questions are an important aspect of assessing student ability. The problem that occurs is that the record of exam questions stored in the exam database by the admin is very vulnerable to access and can be read by students in the admin menu when inputting questions. This happens because there is no safety record database of questions in the exam web application. Therefore we need a cryptographic security technique. Cryptographic techniques can secure the record of questions by randomizing the value of the incoming question character into a value that is not understood. This research will encrypt the computerized exam database question records with the Word Auto Key Encryption (WAKE) algorithm when the admin enters the questions in the admin web. While the decryption process using the WAKE algorithm is carried out by the application system when the web client is accessed by students by logging in and pressing the start test button

Abstract

Proses belajar dan mengajar secara langsung di dalam ruangan kelas, beralih menjadi distance learning atau belajar jarak jauh sebagai aksi antisipatif meluasanya penyebaran COVID-19 antara siswa dan guru. Penyesuaian proses belajar mengajar di era pandemi juga menjadi perhatian penting bagi para guru sebgai ujung tombak pelaksana pendidikan di sekolah. Hal ini menjadi perhatian penting bagi semua pihak untuk bertanggung jawab menghidupkan semangat belajar yang efektif bagi siswa, baik guru, orangtua, dosen, mahasiswa dan seluruh elemen masyarakat harus mengambil peranan dalam menyumbangkan ide, kretifitas, ilmu untuk bersama meningkatkan efektifitas belajar mengajar di masa pandemi ini.Presentasi dipilih untuk menyampaikan konsep-konsep yang penting oleh para peserta latihan. Metode ini didukung dengan presentasi oleh para dosen dengan menapilkan display teori dan materi yang sesuai dengan kegiatan pelatihan. Demonstrasi dipilih untuk menunjukkan proses kerja pemanfaatan teknologi aplikasi google classroom dan video mp4 dalam proses pengajaran speaking dan pengiriman tugas yang nantinya para guru akan meneruskan sosialisasi pemanfaatan teknologi dan aplikasi ini kepada para siswa. Keragaman guru bidang studi yang hadir sangat membuat suasana pelatihan hidup, karena peserta pelatihan yang berpartsipasi tidak hanya guru bidng studi bahasa Inggris saja, akan tetapi guru bidang studi lain yang memiliki tugas praktikum terlihat cukup antusias untuk mengikuti pelatihan ini. Pelatihan berlangsung dengan porsi praktik yang cukup besar, sehingga guru-guru bidang studi mempelajari beberapa fitur pengiriman tugas lainnya lewat google classroom dengan mempelajari cara pengiriman tugas lewat dokumen video, link, maupun dokumen yang tersimpan di google drive.Mengingat banyaknya fitur, platform, aplikasi, multimedia yang tersedia saat ini untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar, maka perlu adanya penambahan waktu pelatihan agar para peserta mampu memanfaatkan berbagai macam teknologi aplikasi dan multimedia sesuai dengan tingkat kebutuhan dan bidang studi yang diajarkan oleh para peserta yang terdiri dari guru-guru SMK.

Abstract

Perumahan New Pratama Asri merupakan perumahan subsidi pemerintah yang kurang lebih terdiri 80 KK, masyarakat perumahan tersebut pada umumnya memiliki ekonomi menengah kebawah dengan sumber pendapatan dari gaji tenaga kerja harian dan beberapa sebagai karyawan swasta dan pegawai negeri. Warga pada perumahan tersebut setidaknya terdapat 30 KK yang telah memiliki anak sekolah dasar (SD) dan sebagai sekolah menengah pertama (SMP).Metode pelaksanaan kegiatang yang dilakukan di Perumahan New Pratama Asri ialah LPPM Budi Darma Menerima Surat Permintaan Untuk Melakukan Kegiatan Pengabdian, LPPM Budi Darma Menugaskan Dosen Sebagai Tim Pelaksana Kegiatan, Tim Pelaksana Melaukan Perencanaan, Pembangunan Infrastruktur Jaringan Internet di Perumahan New Pratama Asri, Tim Pelaksana Melakukan Persiapan Untuk Melaksanakan Kegiatan Peatihan, Penyusunan Laporan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada MasyarakatUntuk meningkatkan atusiasme dan pemahaman dari peserta kegiatan dalam menerima materi yang diajarkan digunakan yaitu dengan memanfaatkan power point dengan tampilan slide yang mudah dipahami dan juga disertai gambar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan langsung kepada masyarakat perumahan new pratama asri sehingga masyarakat tersebut tidak mengeluarkan biaya yang lebih dalam menyediakan akses internet. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan terbilang sukses dalam menyalurkan pengetahuan hal ini disimpulkan dari dilakukannya pendampingan pembangunan infrastruktur jaringan internet selama 1 bulan.Selama ini masyarakat perumahan new pratama asri dalam menyediakan akses internet menggunakan paket internet dari operator yang relatif mahal bagi masyarakat dengan penghasilan menengah kebawah, Internet murah dapat membantu masyarakat perumahan new pratama asri dalam menyediakan akses internet, Masyarakat perumahan new pratama asri dapat dengan mudah mengembangkan jaringan internet tersebut ke rumah masyarakat lainnya

Abstract

Video files have a large size that affects the storage space and the delivery process. This size is a factor in how much storage space will be used and how long it will take to send files. The longer the video file, the larger the size can be overcome by doing the compression process. Compression is done to reduce the size of a file. The compression algorithm that can be used is the start step stop code algorithm. The advantage of the start step stop code algorithm is that it first determines the value of n = 0, then determines the value of a = start + nx stop, then the subset starting with n will be preceded by the number '1' and followed by the insertion of '0' followed by a combination of bits. a.
