Abstract

The selection of project leaders must be done by determining several main criteria to consider in determining the quality of each company. One of the problems that are often faced in selecting project leaders at PT. The PPs for the Lau Simeme Dam Project are many of the prospective project leaders who meet the criteria. This causes the election organizers to be confused in determining the right project leader. One way that must be done to help the PT. PP Lau Simeme Dam Project in the decision-making process to determine the project leader is the need for a computer-based application in the form of a decision support system that can provide solutions to decision making. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system used by management in producing a decision from an existing problem. The Multi-Objective Optimization On The Basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method is one method that can make a decision based on the concept of ranking by comparing the index value of each alternative to the overall index value of the alternative. In the process of selecting project leaders at PT. PP Lau Simeme Dam Project uses the Multi-Objective Optimization On The Basic of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method, resulting in the highest weight value that will be taken into consideration in selecting the project leader. The results obtained in this process determined that alternative A1 on behalf of Yudi Priyanto has a high ranking value with a score of "25.6".

Abstract

The head of the computer laboratory is the person who leads and coordinates all planning, implementation and control activities in the laboratory and receives all periodic reports from laboratory staff and evaluates all existing activities and reports the results of the evaluation to the leadership. However, in the selection process, there were so many enthusiasts and the selection stages were so long, such as administration selection, competencies and interviews, that it was difficult for the school to make a decision in getting a new laboratory head candidate as expected. To overcome the problem of choosing a laboratory head who is difficult to make decisions, a decision support system is needed. A decision support system is a system capable of solving a problem and facilitating decision making. The method used for decision making is by using a combination of Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) and Rank Order Centroid (ROC) methods. This method is used to carry out settlements where the ROC method is used to find weight values and the ARAS method is used for a ranking based on existing criteria such as expertise, level of education, age, length of teaching and discipline. Where each criterion has its own weight value and the alternatives will be ranked. After doing a ranking, the results obtained from the combination of the ARAS method and the ROC method are M. Agus Salim Siregar (A4) with a score of 3.2794. These results can facilitate the selection team in making decisions and being elected as the head of the computer and network engineering laboratory at the Musda Perbaungan Private Vocational School.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently experiencing an outbreak of a global virus called COVID-19. A lot of the fake news currently spreading on social media is news about vaccinations. The truth of spreading fake news should be detected by applying one of the information technologies, namely natural language processing (NLP). The algorithms that will be used to support fake news detection are text mining algorithms and cosine similarity algorithms. Looking for references related to the problem, starting from looking for books that discuss the algorithm used in this research. Looking for data related to the research topic, namely the COVID-19 vaccination. Data processing is done by applying a text mining algorithm as text processing. The stages of text mining are case folding, tokenizing, filtering, stemming. The processing analysis stage is carried out by applying the cosine similarity algorithm to analyze the level of similarity between data. Based on the calculation using the cosine similarity algorithm above, Q (detected news) has a similarity value of above 40% to D31 and D59, where the labels that have been made on D31 and D59 news data are hoax news. The probability of news appearing using a mathematical formula to calculate the probability, the probability value obtained by Q (news detected) is 100% hoax and 0% fact. Based on the results of the analysis of the data by applying the text mining and cosine similarity algorithms, the results show that the identified news is declared a hoax according to the data held.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a virus that is so small that you cannot see it with the naked eye, you need the help of a magnifying device such as a microscope and this virus is very dangerous which causes respiratory problems in humans and can even kill humans who have been exposed to the Covid-19 virus or other viruses. this crown. Where in general, the community and medical teams diagnose someone who has been exposed to Covid-19 based on a symptom including: fever, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, unable to smell and feel on the tongue. But not everyone who suffers from such a disease can be classified as Covid -19 disease. So to make sure someone has Covid-19, an antigen test or PCR test is carried out. Examination data related to Covid-19 from the results of symptoms with the results of antigen or PCR tests has been collected and has not been used to diagnose someone who has symptoms of Covid-19. From the problems that exist, the medical team really needs help in diagnosing Covid-19 disease in patients easily and quickly, namely by using the Naïve Bayes algorithm data mining, where the Naïve Bayes algorithm can produce correct and real data. The results of this study are based on the Naïve Bayes data mining algorithm in the diagnosis of Covid-19, namely Alex is positive for Covid-19 while Imam is negative for Covid-19.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is a very important concrete element in efforts to improve the quality of human resources. To improve this quality, what needs to be considered is the problem of student achievement. Many factors cause students or students to fail academically, one of the factors is the less advanced and less modern education system. SMA Negeri I STM Hilir has a computer laboratory equipped with an internet connection. The laboratory is also equipped with a screen projector and projector so that it can be used to display subject matter using presentation slides to make it easier to simulate subject matter delivered by the teacher. However, the obstacle faced is the teacher's limitations in preparing material on presentation slides making the presentation slides that are displayed less attractive and making students less interested in paying attention to the material being taught. By looking at the problems faced by teachers at SMA N 1 STM Hilir, it is necessary to train teachers to make the most of multimedia-based learning tools so as to increase students' interest in learning. So that it has an impact on increasing students' understanding of the subject matter presented.

Abstract

News presentation is generally structured in such a way that the information presented is well grouped, but the use of electronic media does not necessarily offer complete news categories because not all of the space offered can be filled with good presentation, so special treatment is needed so that readers get the news. needed which is arranged based on recommendations. To arrange this research to be more structured, the authors carried out several stages in completing the research, namely the Problem Identification Stage, Literature Study Stage, Data Collection Stage, Text Mining and TF-IDF Algorithm Implementation Stage, and conclusions. The author implements the text mining and TF-IDF algorithms in processing news title data starting with the Text Mining Algorithm where this stage is a preprocessing stage with the aim that the data to be processed is a basic word so that the weighting process in the TF-IDF Algorithm is not too broad. After the text mining stage, it will proceed to the TF-IDF stage, namely weighting the terms in each document. Text mining and TF-IDF algorithms are able to provide appropriate news recommendations based on the highest similarity in meaning both in terms of topic and object of the news title, for future research it is recommended to use other algorithms such as cosine similar so that recommendations are not only generated from the suitability of words but can also see the similarity of meaning so that research results can be even better.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that is felt by the community is the paralysis of all daily activities. As a result, the cessation of work for a long time causes the company's economy to cripple and results in many companies losing money and making Termination of Employment (PHK) for employees or employees. For the heads of families, the termination of employment (PHK) experienced, of course, has a fairly heavy impact. There are many bad impacts caused by Termination of Employment (PHK) such as not being able to continue education for children, especially in college due to not being able to pay tuition fees every semester. Therefore, to overcome this problem, the government created a Single Tuition Assistance (UKT) program. However, the UKT assistance provided by the government was not able to cover all the financing needs for students who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Limiting quotas for recipients of Resident Tuition (UKT) assistance for Budi Darma University is a new problem, of course. Decision Support System is a computerized system on a computer that is used to support decision making in organizations. The Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method is a combined method consisting of the WP method and the SAW method, the WASPAS method is expected to provide better results in helping to determine the decision support system. To support obtaining optimal and objective results, a weighting method is needed, namely the ROC method. Based on the above discussion, the research that will be carried out is to select students who receive Single Tuition (UKT) assistance. Abstract

The wisdom in taking a decision on a particular problem is not an easy thing, because too much consideration is taken which is expected to help give a reason certain decisions must be taken. Likewise, the handling of the problem determines the price of used laptop units on the CV. Sumber Jaya Computer Medan. The type of used laptop that is determined by the price will be easier if it is done with an application, because it has done an assessment, then the things needed are like the quality of a used laptop according to the price, processor, hard disk, memory, VGA, Old Usage. Decision support system for determining a leptop price is very appropriate to be applied for handling problems that require self-resolution of computers for processing data specifications that follow selection with efficient and accurate calculations. By using Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic reasoning in the processing of input and output data, as well as supporting information how much ranking is very supportive in making decisions to determine the price of a used laptop.

Abstract

Desa Tumpatan Nibung, yang terletak di Kecamatan Batang Kuis, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berkat lokasinya yang strategis dekat Bandara Kualanamu. Namun, mayoritas pelaku UMKM di desa ini menghadapi kendala dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital, khususnya di bidang pemasaran dan branding produk, yang menjadi kebutuhan mendesak di era digital 4.0. Salah satu tantangan utama adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam desain grafis, yang penting untuk menarik perhatian konsumen melalui kemasan produk dan materi promosi yang profesional. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis pelaku UMKM di Desa Tumpatan Nibung melalui pelatihan menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Mitra kegiatan adalah 25 pelaku UMKM setempat. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara dan observasi, penyusunan modul pelatihan, dan pelaksanaan pelatihan langsung di Aula Kantor Desa Tumpatan Nibung. Kegiatan ini mencakup pengenalan dasar desain grafis, praktik langsung membuat kemasan produk, daftar menu, dan poster menggunakan Canva.  Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap desain grafis, yang tercermin dari kemampuan mereka menghasilkan desain yang menarik dan sesuai kebutuhan. Hambatan berupa perbedaan perangkat yang digunakan (laptop dan handphone) dapat diatasi melalui penyesuaian arahan. Penggunaan Canva terbukti efektif bagi pemula, mendukung kreativitas peserta dalam membuat desain yang kompetitif untuk pasar digital. Pelatihan ini diharapkan mendorong keberlanjutan promosi digital UMKM di Desa Tumpatan Nibung.
