Abstract

The aims of this research are; to determine the effect of the concentration of red dragon fruit peel extract on the results of the yield and organoleptic tests, to determine the best concentration on the results of the yield and organoleptic tests and for the preparation of teaching materials (LKPD) on biotechnology materials. The organoleptic test aims to determine the level of preference for VCO based on 3 parameters namely: 1) Color, 2) Taste, 3) Texture This research is an experimental research with a RAL research design with 5 treatments (P1; 15%, P2; 20%, P3; 25%, P4; 30%, P5; 35%) and 6 replications. The data analysis technique in this research uses ANOVA 1. Based on the analysis results; The concentration of dragon fruit peel extract influences the yield results and organoleptic tests. The P1 concentration produced the highest yield and the best organoleptic tests on 3 parameters (color, taste, texture). The source of teaching materials (LKPD) for biotechnology material has been validated by design experts and material experts, with a design aspect percentage of 95.27% and a material aspect percentage of 98.43% with the category very valid and suitable for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of Digital Handout of biodiversity material that is valid and easy to understand by students and educate students to maintain biodiversity. This research is development in nature using the ADDIE development method which consists of five stages, namely 1) Analysis, in this stage the main activity is to analyze the need for the development of teaching materials in learning objectives. 2) Design, the design stage includes several learning media development plans. 3) Development, at this stage the development of Handout is carried out in accordance with the design that has been made. 4) Implementation, at this fourth stage a real test is carried out limited to the School, with a small group test of 15 students from a total of 36 students taken randomly. 5) Evaluations, Evaluation is the process of giving value to the development of learning materials. The results of the assessment are used to provide feedback on the development of teaching materials. The products that have been developed have been validated by design experts and material experts, the results obtained from material experts are 94% with "very feasible" criteria, design experts are 96% with "very feasible" criteria. And the results of the trial to students amounted to 93% with the criteria "Very feasible".

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore how student motivation for learning connects with their advanced thinking skills regarding the digestive system topics in class XI IPA at SMA Minhajuth Thullab. This study employs an ex post facto design, which means it analyzes data collected after events have occurred. A saturated sampling method was used in this research. The study followed a quantitative approach, utilizing the ex post facto method alongside a correlational framework to investigate existing cause-and-effect links. According to the validation test results where rxy ≥ rtable: 0. 98 > 0. 63, it can be affirmed that the questions are valid. The outcomes from the hypothesis testing, analyzed through the r test, show that the results yielded t (5. 74, 1. 69), establishing a correlation. These findings indicate that there is indeed a connection between students' learning motivation and their high-level thinking skills. This conclusion is backed by the fact that t count surpasses t table: t count 5. 74 > t table 1. 69. Hence, there exists a strong correlation between learning motivation and high-level thinking skills, represented by an r value of 0. 703. Furthermore, the increase in learning motivation corresponds with an enhancement in high-level thinking skills, specifically by a factor of 0. 04. Therefore, the link between learning motivation and high-level thinking abilities in students regarding the digestive system content in class XI IPA at SMA Minhajuth Thullab is both very strong and significantly high.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) To determine the effect of variations in the composition of the use of processed fish waste feed on bird growth (Coturnix coturnix japonica), 2) To determine the variation of feed composition that gives the best effect on the growth of quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) 3) To determine the results of this study worthy of being used as a Biology learning resource in the form of student activity sheets (LKPD). This type of research is experimental research using a completely randomized design (RAL). In this study using 1 dick 3 treatments namely, P0 (50% centrate feed & 50% bran feed), P1 (Feed 10% fishmeal, 45% bran & 45% Concentrate), P2 (Feed 20% fishmeal + 40% bran & 40% Concentrate), and P3 (Feed 30% fishmeal + 35% bran & 35% Concentrate) each treatment was given 4 replicates. The parameter observed was quail weight gain (grams). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that variations in the composition of processed fish waste feed affect the growth of quails and the second treatment gives the best effect. The results of this study can be used as a biology learning resource with high school class XII growth and development material in the form of LKPD, data obtained from expert validation, with an average material validation score of 92.85%, design validation 93.75%.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of integrating Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-oriented digital assessments on students’ self-regulated learning (SRL) in General Chemistry courses. A quasi-experimental design was employed involving 50 undergraduate students who participated in four sessions of formative assessments delivered through digital platforms such as Quizizz and Google Forms. Each assessment item was carefully aligned with specific learning outcomes and designed to support five SRL dimensions: goal setting, time management, self-monitoring, help-seeking, and self-evaluation. Data were collected using pre- and post-intervention questionnaires and tests, and subsequently analyzed through paired sample t-tests. The results revealed a statistically significant improvement in overall SRL scores (from 64.52 to 77.84, p < 0.001), with the most notable increases observed in self-monitoring and help-seeking. These findings indicate that embedding digital formative assessments within an OBE framework can foster learners’ autonomy, metacognitive engagement, and reflective learning strategies. The study underscores the pedagogical value of aligning assessment with learning outcomes while leveraging feedback-driven digital tools to create meaningful and sustainable learning experiences in higher education, particularly in science-related disciplines
