Abstract

Kecapi (Sandoricum koetjape Merr Burm. f.) has many benefits and uses of which fruit can be eaten, and the wood can be used for furniture. Therefore, the researchers conducted a study with the method of tissue culture (in vitro) because the kecapi wood has potential as an alternative wood. This research was conducted in a tissue culture laboratoryof UPT Food Crops and Horticulture Council, Guntung Manggis, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. The treatment of the observed growth response i.e. explant for 8 weeks and the organ is formed from explant. We used a descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the formation of roots perfectly, occurred on treatment using the hormone combination of IBA and BAP with a concentration of 0.5 ppm; Formation of shoots perfectly, occurs in treatment uses a combination of hormone IBA and BAP with a concentration of 4 ppm; The formation of the callus, occurred on treatment using the hormone combination of IBA and BAP with a concentration of 0.5 ppm. So it can be inferred that the research response to the growth of the harp (Sandoricum koetjape Merr Burm. f.) against granting ZPT IBA and BAP in in vitro experiment based on all of the observation data obtained after 8 weeks there are 12 eksplan that make up the plant organs namely organogenesis and 1 eksplan that form the kalus. Most of the seeds of the harp that obtain treatment 0.5 ppm, 1 ppm, 2 ppm and 4 ppm only managed to reach the phase changes color to green and the addition of size or swell. The amount of esksplan nth response is present on the combination treatment ZPT IBA and BAP of 2 ppm.Keywords: Kecapi; In Vitro; Growth Response

Abstract

The increase of timber consumption by the industry is not balanced with the supply of raw materials which is precisely reduced in number. One of the types of alternative plants that can be utilized is Nyawai. This research aims to determine the variation of growth and percent of life of each family, in order to provide recommendations of the best families that are able to adapt in a KHDTK Riam Kiwa environment. This research uses Nyawai plant in forest area with special purpose (KHDTK) Riam Kiwa is 27 months old with 9 families from 3 different Provenans namely South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and central Kalimantan with a planting distance of 3 m x 3 m. Based on measurements obtained by the result of the highest lifetime survival percentage of 27 months Nyawai which averages 96%, the average height is 5, 539 m, the average diameter of 9.9 cm and the average bar straightness 4.45.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the live percentage of rubber grafting seeds in each treatment, analyzing the effect of ZPT concentration on growth and concentration of ZPT which gives the best growth against grafting seeds. Data analysis using Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and repeated as many as 10 times, which amounted to 40 units of experiments. The time required for this study is ± 3 months. The equipment used is ruler, plastic label, polybag, sprinkler, camera, computer, stationery and measuring cup while the materials used are rubber grafting seeds PB 260 age 2 months, growth regulators (ZPT), and water. The data obtained from the first observation is done by Smirnov Kolmogorov test to know the normality and for the homogeneity test of variance done by Barlett test. The results obtained from this study is the live percentage of rubber grafting seedlings PB 260 for each treatment 100%. The treatments showed significant effect on leaf number parameter with average value A0 = 8,5, A1 = 9,7, A2 = 12,6 and A3 = 10,5. Based on the difference test the average treatment price of A2 (5ml ZPT / 1 liter of water) significantly different to other treatment. Abstract

This research purposes to determine seed growth of limau kuit explant by tissue culture with arranger growth IBA and BAP. This research is expected to give advantage for alternative supply limau kuit seeding by tisuue culture and give scientific information for develop best quality limau kuit seedling. Data collection and this research from weekly observations limau kuit explant. The results of the studySshowed that theecombination treatment of concentration withhthe addition of ZPT in the form of IBA and BAP gave a visible response to the concentration of treatment A with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones of 0.5 Ppm and treatment of B with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively 1 Ppm is more stimulating to the formation of shoots in  limau kuit seeds while in treatment C with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively as much as 2 Ppm and Treatment D with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones as much as 4 Ppm each stimulates root growth. Based on all the experiments from the observed data, there were 15 explants that experienced new organ growth and 2 explants that formed a small callus after being observed for 8 weeks.Keywords: explan; growth regulating agent; Limau kuit

Abstract

Kawasan hutan mangrove di kabupaten Tanah Laut terus mengalami kerusakan yang diakibatkan oleh pembukaan tambak, abrasi pantai dan kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat. Ekowisata adalah bentuk perjalanan wisata yang menitikberatkan pada konservasi sumberdaya alam. Kawasan hutan mangrove di desa Pagatan Besar berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi kawasan ekowisata mangrove. ParameterIndeks Kesesuaian Ekosistem untuk Wisata Mangrove (IKW) meliputi ketebalan mangrove, kerapatan mangrove, jenis mangrove, objek biota, pasang surut, karakteristik kawasan dan aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dan kesesuaian hutan mangrove di desa Pagatan Besar sebagai kawasan ekowisata. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive samplingdengan menentukan tiga titik stasiun yang mewakili kondisi kawasan, Pengukuran ketebalan mangrove dilakukan secara manual dengan menarik garis tegak lurus kearah laut, analisa vegetasi menggunakan Line Transect plot, untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat dilakukan wawancara langsung kepada responden yang telah ditentukan secara sengaja.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilaiIKWkawasan mangrove di desa Pagatan Besar sesuai untuk dikembangkan menjadi kawasan ekowisata dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 74,99 %.Jenis mangrove yang ditemui adalah jenisRhizophora mucronata, Excoecaria agallocha L., Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Avicennia marina, Acanthus ilicifolius L., Terminalia cattapa L., Cerbera manghas L dan Pandanus odoratissima. Jenis biota yang berasosiasi adalah krustasea, mollusca, reptil, ikan, burung, arthropoda dan primata. Masyarakat desa Pagatan Besar sudah mempunyai pemahaman yang baik terhadap ekosistem mangrove serta pentingnya pelestarian dan tujuan dibukanya kawasan ekowisata mangrove.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the effect of organic fertilizer on the growth of Melaleuca leucadendra Linn crops in terms of high growth, increase in diameter and number of plant branches. To know the type of organic fertilizer that gives the best growth of Melaleuca leucadendra Linn plants.Methods of this study include Preparation of eucalyptus trees selected healthy cinnamon plant, straight stem and high green leaf color and uniform diameter cultivated, Preparation of planting hole with size 40cm x 40cm with spacing 2m x 2m, Planting is done by inserting eucalyptus plants on planting holes that have been provided and then heap and padded with topsoil around the plant left for 1 week for adaptation, Observations conducted for 3 months every 2 weeks, starting week 0 to week 12, the parameters observed include the ability to live or percentage grow, stem height, stem diameter increase, and increasing number of branches. Maintenance undertaken among others watering and eradicating pests and diseases, weeding weeds, The results obtained from the study showed that the provision of bokashi organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the treatment for stem height increase, stem diameter increase, and increasing number of branches with average increase of height 30, 675 cm, the increase of diameter 0, 514 mm and the number of branches 25.5 pieces. The results of Duncan's follow-up test showed that all the different treatments were very significant to the control, but in the high increase for the bokashi treatment were not significantly different from the kascing and the kascing treatment was not significantly different from the cage.  Keywords: Eastwood crop; organic fertilizerABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pupuk organik terhadap kayu putih dalam hal pertambahan tinggi, pertambahan diameter dan jumlah cabang tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis pupuk organik yang memberikan pertumbuhan tanaman kayu putih terbaik. Metode penelitian ini meliputi Persiapan tanaman kayu putih dipilih tanaman kayu putih yang sehat, batang lurus dan warna daun hijau tinggi dan diameter diusahakan seragam, Persiapan lubang tanam dengan ukuran 40cm x 40cm dengan jarak tanam 2m x 2m, Penanaman dilakukan dengan memasukkan tanaman kayu putih pada lubang tanam yang telah disediakan kemudian timbun dan padatkan dengan topsoil disekitarnya tanaman dibiarkan selama 1 minggu untuk adaptasi, Pengamatan dilakukan selama 3 bulan mulai minggu ke 0 sampai minggu ke 12, parameter yang diamati meliputi kemampuan hidup atau persentase tumbuh, pertambahan tinggi batang, pertambahan diameter batang, dan pertambahan jumlah cabang. Pemeliharaan dilakukan antara lain penyiraman dan pemberantasan hama dan penyiangan gulma. Hasil yang di peroleh dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik bokashi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap perlakuan untuk pertambahan tinggi batang, pertambahan diameter batang, dan pertambahan jumlah cabang dengan rata-rata pertambahan tinggi 30, 675 cm, pertambahan diameter 0, 514 mm dan jumlah cabang 25,5 buah. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa semua perlakuan berbeda sangat nyata terhadap kontrol, namun pada pertambahan tinggi untuk perlakuan bokashi tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kascing dan perlakuan kascing tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kandang.  Kata kunci: Tanaman kayu putih, pupuk organik.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the effect of growing media that giving the best respons to growth of sengon and to know the effect of treathment the best for each parameter on the growth of sengon seedlings. The study was conducted duringjuni until Agustus 2016 in UPTD PembibitanTanamanHutanDinasKehutanan dan perkebunanKabupatenKotawaringin Timur Procinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Experiment design arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 6 treatment by 10 times. The treathment this study was combinasi from growing media with oil palm bunc by K (100 % Top Soil : 0 % AJS), A (90 % Top Soil : 10 % AJS), B (80 % Top Soil : 20 % AJS), C (70 % Top Soil : 30 % AJS), D (60 % Top Soil : 40 % AJS), dan E (50 % Top Soil : 50 % AJS). The research variable is percent of life tree, high tree, number of lieves, and diameter stem after that Data analysis using analysis of varian (Anova).Analysis results shows that giving oil palm buncis effect to percent of life tree, high tree, number of lieves, and diameter stem. Combinasitreathment of growing media C,D and E getting the best does to percent of life tree, as well as combination of growing media the effective to respon growth sengon is combination D for growthofhigt tree, and combinasi of growing media E for number of lieves and diameter stem.Keywords: Sengon; growing media and oil palm bunc

Abstract

This research aims to calculate life percentage on every treatment and analyze the growth of Kemiri (Aleurites   moluccana L. Willd) seedlings to the various interaction between shade or light intensity. The variable of seedling growth includes height, diameter and sum of leaves. This research was conducted in open land area around farms and plantations with flat slope conditions in Padang Anyar roads, Tungkaran, RT 04, RW 02, South Borneo Province for 3 month. The data was analized using factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatment. Each replication consists of five sample and every treatment was repeated trhree times so that 60 seeds are needed (4x5x3). The result showed the life percentage of seedlings on every treatment was 100%. Growth under shade shows a significant effect on height of seedling, a very significant effect on diameter of seedling, and not give significant effect for sum leaves, known that 50% shade the best give effect to average response toward the increase of tall was 43,73 cm, stem diameter was 0,73 cm and sum of leaves was 13,8 leaves). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of presenting mycorrhizae on the growth of eucalyptus plant (Melaleuca leucadendron Linn), to analyze the proper mycorrhizal dose for the growth of eucalyptus plant. This research was conducted in Cindai Alus Village, Martapura District, Banjar Regency, Kalimantan selatan. The implementation of this study took 4 months. The experimental design used was CRD (Completely Randomized Design) by giving mycorrhizae whit 5 treatments, each treatment with 20 replications, so that all of them had 100 experimental units.The results showed that the setetage of live eucalyptus plant seedlings in each treatment mycorrhizae was 100%. , and offered eucalyptus plant mycorrhizae had a very significant effect on increasing height, increasing the number of shoots, but not affecting the increase in diameter. The administration of 40 grams of mycorrhizae had the best effect on increasing height (9.55 cm), number of ban (11.75) and increasing diameter (0.493 mm). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian mikoriza pada pertumbuhan kayu putih (Melaleuca leucadendron Linn), menganalisis dosis mikoriza yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan kayu putih. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Cindai Alus, Kecamatan Martapura, Kabupaten Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan. Implementasi penelitian ini membutuhkan 4 bulan. Desain eksperimental yang digunakan adalah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan pemberian mikoriza dan 5 perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan dengan 20 ulangan, sehingga semuanya memiliki 100 unit percobaan, Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa persentase semai kayu putih hidup dalam setiap perlakuan pemberian mikoriza adalah 100%, dan pemberian mikoriza bibit kayu putih memiliki efek yang sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan tinggi, peningkatan jumlah tunas, tetapi tidak mempengaruhi peningkatan diameter. Pemberian mikoriza sebanyak 40 gram memberikan efek terbaik pada peningkatan tinggi (9,55 cm), jumlah tunas (11, 75 bua) dan peningkatan diameter (0,493 mm).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze agroforestry management systems for coffee plant species under pine tree stands in the forest area in Babadan Village at KPH Malang, East Java and to analyze the contribution of pine-coffee agroforestry income. The agroforestry management system applied by the respondents in Babadan Village RPH Wagir BKPH Kepanjen is an agroforestry agroforestry pattern with arabica coffee plants combined with pine trees. The spacing between the pine trees and the pine trees in the two plots is 3 x 2 m², while the distance between the pine trees and the coffee plants is 1.5 m and the distance between the coffee plants and the coffee plants is 3 x 2 m². The results of direct interviews with all coffee subscribers, namely the number of results from coffee production divided by Perhutani, where 29 coffee members received 70% income, namely Rp216,580,000 / year, while Perhutani received 30% income worth Rp.92.820.000 / year. So the average individual coffee subscriber earns an income of Rp7,468,276 / year from the coffee production. Agroforestry's contribution to household income is 33% with a value of Rp. 351,106,000 / year with an average income of Rp12,107,103 / year.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengelolaan agroforestri jenis tanaman kopi dibawah tegakan pohon pinus pada kawasan hutan di Desa Babadan pada KPH Malang Jawa Timur dan menganalisis kontribusi pendapatan agroforestri pinus-kopi. Sistem pengelolaan agroforestri yang diterapkan responden di Desa Babadan RPH Wagir BKPH Kepanjen merupakan pola agroforestri agrisilviculture dengan tanaman kopi jenis arabica yang berkombinasi dengan pohon pinus. Jarak tanam antara pohon pinus dengan pohon pinus pada kedua petak adalah 3 x 2 m², sedangkan jarak pohon pinus dengan tanaman kopi yaitu 1,5 m dan jarak antara tanaman kopi dengan tanaman kopi 3 x 2 m². Hasil dari wawancara langsung dengan seluruh pesanggem kopi yaitu jumlah hasil dari produksi kopi dibagi dengan pihak Perhutani dimana 29 pesanggem kopi memperoleh pendapatan 70% yaitu senilai Rp.216.580.000/tahun, sedangkan pihak Perhutani memperoleh pendapatan 30% senilai Rp.92.820.000/tahun. Jadi rata-rata pendapatan perorangan pesanggem kopi memperoleh pendapatan sebesar Rp.7.468.276/tahun dari hasil produksi kopi. Kontribusi agroforestri terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga responden adalah 33% dengan nilai Rp.351.106.000/tahunnya dengan rata-rata pendapatan perorang Rp.12.107.103/tahun.
