Abstract

Halal tourism has emerged as a significant global phenomenon in line with the growing population of Muslim travelers worldwide. This development has spurred a rapid increase in academic studies related to halal tourism, particularly over the past decade. However, the application of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the SPAR-4-SLR protocol remains limited, especially on the specific topic of halal tourism in the Indonesian context. This study aims to examine the trends and development of halal tourism research in Indonesia by employing the SLR method in conjunction with the TCCM (Theory, Context, Characteristic, Method) analytical framework. The research was conducted in two main stages, first the application of the SPAR-4-SLR protocol to identify and screen relevant literature and, second a detailed analysis using the TCCM framework. The assembling stage identified 112 relevant articles, which were then narrowed down to 50 key articles during the arranging stage for indepth analysis in the assessing phase. The findings reveal that theoretically halal tourism research remains centered on marketing and customer satisfaction issues, with limited exploration of sociocultural aspects and information technology. In terms of context, studies predominantly focus on Muslim-majority regions, while non-Muslim areas with high tourism potential remain underexplored. Regarding characteristics, correlational and causal approaches dominate, primarily examining relationships between halal tourism and other sectors or themes. Methodologically, quantitative approaches particularly Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) are the most commonly applied, whereas mixed methods and longitudinal studies are still relatively scarce. These findings offer valuable insights into mapping the direction and research gaps in halal tourism studies in Indonesia moving forward.

Abstract

Located at the northern tip of Indonesia, Natuna Regency not only has a lot of natural potential, but many interesting cultural attractions, and also a variety of culinary delights. One form of cultural tourism resource in Natuna Regency is the traditional game Pangkak Gasing. This research aims to reveal the folk game Pangkak Gasing as a potential tourist attraction to bring tourists to Natuna Regency. By taking a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews with five informants and direct observation at the destination. Then the results of the interview were analyzed using Grounded Theory analysis techniques. The research results show that the main attraction of Pangkak Gasing folk games tourism is cultural heritage and cultural tourism. Apart from that, cultural heritage and cultural tourism also have several groupings to explain the tourist attraction of the folk game Pangkak Gasing. Abstract

The existence of a Tourism Village will definitely have an impact on the local community. Therefore, this study aims to determine the impact of the Okura High Cliff Tourism Village on the economy of the local community This research was conducted in Tebing Tinggi Okura Village, Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The research method that will be used in this study is Qualitative with the type of Grounded Research. Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and interview methods by interviewing several residents living in Tebing Tinggi Okura Tourism Village. Through interviews conducted with 8 informants, 4 impacts of the Okura High Cliff Tourism Village were obtained, namely: 1) The Impact of Novelty; 3) the emergence of jobs; 3) the Impact on visits; and 4) the Impact on the Economy. Abstract

Carrying out trolley cart preparation by room attendants in the housekeeping department is a key element in hotel operations which functions to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of rooms for guests. At Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru, this preparation is an integral part of the standard of service offered to guests. With increasing demands for service quality and guest satisfaction, it is important to ensure that every aspect of housekeeping operations, including trolley cart preparation, runs optimally. Trolley carts are the main tool used by room attendants to carry cleaning supplies and equipment to each room. Proper and efficient preparation of the trolley cart ensures that the room attendant has everything needed to clean and tidy the room quickly and without interruption. This not only improves work efficiency but also minimizes the time required to clean each room, so more rooms can be prepared for guests in less time. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the implementation of cleaning cart preparations (Trolley Cart) in the housekeeping department of the Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru and to find out and analyze the obstacles to implementing cleaning cart preparations (Trolley cart) in the housekeeping department of the Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru. This research uses direct observation methods and interviews with housekeeping staff and hotel management. The data collected was analyzed qualitatively to get an in-depth picture of how the trolley cart preparation was carried out and its implications for operations and guest satisfaction. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Room attendants at the Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru follow the SOP that has been set in preparing the trolley cart. The results of this research show that the implementation of trolley cart preparation by room attendants at the Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru has been carried out in accordance with the established SOP. Room attendant work efficiency increases, and guest satisfaction is well maintained. Proper trolley cart preparation is an important factor in ensuring quality service and efficient housekeeping operations. The recommendations provided include regular training for housekeeping staff and regular evaluation of existing procedures to ensure the quality of trolley cart preparation and room service is maintained. In this way, Fox Harris Hotel Pekanbaru can continue to maintain and improve their service standards, which ultimately increases guest satisfaction and loyalty. Abstract

Tanjung Lapin Beach is a tourist destination with natural potential in North Rupat District. This study was conducted to analyze the tourism potential of Tanjung Lapin Beach in North Rupat. This research method used descriptive analysis and SWOT. The results of this study indicate that Tanjung Lapin Beach has natural beauty with white sand, cultural attractions, security and cleanliness of the location, friendly residents, and has more complete tourism facilities than other tourist attractions on Rupat Island. To analyze the right strategy in developing Tanjung Lapin Beach to obtain development results, it is recommended to use an aggressive strategy. It is necessary to develop tourism potential, conduct promotions, empower local communities in the field of entrepreneurship, empower and improve services for business actors in the field of tourist accommodation, and develop businesses as income to increase PAD and local community.

Turi Beach Resort is located in a city that is the city of Batam where this location is a lot of favorite locations for tourists in the country and foreign tourists to visit, (1) to know the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of waiter and waitress at Tamingsari Turi Beach Resort Batam (2) to know the constraints encountered in the implementation of SOP waiter and waitress. The design of this study using qualitative methods with descriptive approach in which researchers will retrieve data from informants who know the restaurant in Turi Beach Resort Batam. From the research results can be concluded in the implementation of Standard Oprasional Procedure (SOP) waiter and waitress Mise And Place Table Setting, Greet And Great, Offering Menu, Taking Order, Other Service, Clearing Table, Taking The Dessert Order, Presenting Bill, Clearing and some obstacles that are found are Individual, Leadership, Team and system. Abstract

Bintan has great natural tourism potential, especially marine tourism. Therefore, it is necessary to have a arranged and planned travel pattern to increase visitors in Bintan. This study was conducted to reveal the potential of marine tourism that is not yet known by tourists. This study aims to identify the object and potential of marine tourism and reveal the cluster of travel patterns, and recommend the travel pattern of marine tourim in Bintan. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques in this study using literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study reveal the object and potential of marine tourism in Bintan, and recommend the travel pattern of marine tourism in Bintan District. Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the promotion and identify the obstacles faced by Queen Star Waterpark as the only largest water recreation attraction in Siak Regency, Riau. Queen Star Waterpark has great potential as a superior tourist destination because it offers modern facilities, strategic location, and family attraction. However, in an effort to attract more visitors, promotion becomes a very important element. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data is obtained through observation, interviews with eight informants (managers, employees, local communities, and visitors), as well as documentation. Research results show that the promotion of Queen Star Waterpark is carried out through print media (brochure), electronic media (Instagram and Facebook), as well as public relations strategies through bundling packages. This effort is considered quite effective in reaching the local community, but still has limitations in reaching a wider audience. The main obstacles found include the limited use of modern digital media, lack of variety of promotional content, and competition with other tourist destinations in the surrounding area. The research suggests that the management should expand the use of video-based social media such as TikTok, increase the creativity of digital content, and establish collaboration with the local tourist community. With a more innovative and adaptive promotion strategy, Queen Star Waterpark has the potential to become a family tourism icon as well as increase its contribution to the Siak Regency tourism sector. Abstract

The design of this study using qualitative method with explorative approaches. That is research of excavation. Dig to find an image of an object. Tourism has an important rule in the growth of regional progress. In this study aims to find out how the role of an organization that is Asosiasi pelaku pariwisata Indonesia ( ASPPI ) DPD Riau,in developing tourism and knowing wheter efforts through the organization’s programs have an impact to Riau Tourism. Based on the results of research conducted, there are results to show the efforts of bussiness actors in Riau especially Pekanbaru, through this association (ASPPI) already have an impact or influence for tourism development in Riau province. The program activities of this association are active in supporting the implementation of tourism development.
