Abstract

Abstract

The Random Forest classifier model trained on the CICDDoS2019 dataset achieved an accuracy of 99.94%, precision of 99.79%, recall of 99.94%, and F1-Score of 99.87%, demonstrating strong performance in detecting Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks. This study aims to develop a real-time DDoS detection system by integrating Suricata as an intrusion detection system (IDS) and Random Forest as a machine learning model. The Dataset used consisted of 431,371 samples and 31 selected features from the results of feature selection. The system works by monitoring log eve.json from Suricata, extracts relevant features directly, then performs classification using a trained model. Predictions are displayed via a Flask-based web interface for easy monitoring. In the live traffic test, the model gave a confidence score of 0.65 for attacks and 0.81 for normal traffic. These results prove that the built system is able to recognize DDoS attack patterns efficiently and can be applied to real network infrastructure as a real-time Threat Detection Solution.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of digital competence, learning communities, and supervision on teacher performance which impacts work performance in elementary schools (SD) in Pangkalpinang City. The research uses an explanatory approach to explain causal relationships between variables. The model applied is hypothesis testing based on theories developed by the researcher. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to elementary school teachers in SD Negeri 3, 6, 10, and 28 Pangkalpinang. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The research findings indicate that digital competence, learning communities, and supervision significantly influence teacher performance. Furthermore, these three variables also have a positive and significant impact on work performance. The study also reveals that digital competence, learning communities, and supervision not only directly affect work performance but also indirectly through improvements in teacher performance. Therefore, enhancing digital competence, strengthening learning communities, and implementing effective supervision can significantly improve teacher performance, ultimately leading to better overall work performance in elementary schools

Abstract

Employees of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must have an extra role in carrying out their functions in serving the community. The relationship between leaders and subordinates in the ASN organization must be able to create a Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) relationship to build a special relationship with enthusiastic employee engagement to achieve the organization's vision and mission based on the Core Values of ASN BerAKHLAK. The research was used a quantitative method to identify the level and nature of the cause-and-effect relationship of the independent Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) and Employee Engagement variables with the dependent variable Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) and the connecting variable being the core value of AKHLAK. The research population of ASN employees working in the Pangkalpinang City Government is 3505 people, probability sampling while the sampling technique uses simple random sampling, 359 respondents were obtained. Data processing with SmartPLS software version 4.  The Core Values of Morality and employee engagement are key to improving prosocial behaviour (OCB). The important role of Core Value BerAKHLAK as a mediator in the relationship between employee involvement and OCB. Emphasizing the importance of the organization's core values in creating positive performance and behaviour in the workplace. However, the effectiveness of this mediation depends on the extent to which core values are embodied in the organization's culture and supported by an inclusive leadership style. LMX can reinforce an organization's core values. Still, the mediating effect on OCB Insignificance points to the need for a more holistic approach to understanding how leader-subordinate relationships and core values together influence extra-role behaviour.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology in the digital era has brought significant convenience to various aspects of human life, yet it has also given rise to new forms of criminal behavior known as cybercrime. This phenomenon encompasses a wide range of unlawful acts such as hacking, data theft, online fraud, and the dissemination of false information, all of which can cause serious social and economic harm. Such developments demand a legal system that can adapt to the dynamic, borderless, and often untraceable nature of cyberspace. This article aims to describe the various types of cybercrimes emerging in Indonesia, analyze the key challenges in law enforcement, and propose strategic measures to strengthen the effectiveness of their handling. The study employs a qualitative method with a normative juridical and descriptive-analytical approach through the examination of relevant literature, legal frameworks, and national research findings. The results indicate that law enforcement against cybercrime in Indonesia faces several obstacles, including regulatory gaps that fail to keep pace with technological progress, limited resources among law enforcement personnel, the complexity of digital evidence, and weak inter-agency and cross-border coordination. Therefore, it is essential to harmonize existing regulations, enhance the technical capacity of law enforcement officers, foster effective international cooperation, and promote public education on digital security to ensure that the national criminal justice system can respond comprehensively and adaptively to the challenges of digitalization.
