Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of health and comfort based on Minister of Public Works Regulation Number 29 of 2006 concerning Guidelines for Technical Building Requirements for Bidara Cina Flats. The method used is descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were families who lived in flats. The sampling technique used a formula developed by Isaac and Michael to obtain 194 samples. The results of this research show that the perception of the residents of the Bidara Cina Flats regarding health, with a percentage of 72.075%, can be said to be that the level of health in the Bidara Cina Flats is Medium. It is shown based on the results of each aspect of health, namely the ventilation system, lighting system, sanitation, and The use of building materials in Block II is better than in Block I. Then the occupants' perception of comfort in the Bidara Cina Flats is still considered moderate, with a percentage of 66.355%. This is shown based on the results of each aspect of comfort, including movement space, air condition, sight (visual), sound (audio), and social environment in Block II are better than in Block I.

Abstract

Pantai di Indonesia menyimpan berbagai sumber daya alam, baik yang bisa dimanfaatkan langsung maupun yang harus melalui pengolahan. Kecamatan Muara Gembong, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat, merupakan daerah pesisir yang memiliki potensi kelautan yang cukup baik dan masih dapat dikembangkan oleh masyarakatnya. Sejauh ini hanya sektor perikanan yang telah digarap masyarakat, dan salah satu limbah dari hasil laut tersebut adalah cangkang kerang. beragam jenis cangkang kerang dengan bentuk dan warna yang unik berpeluang besar untuk diolah dan dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku berbagai jenis produk seni kerajinan yang dapat dijual. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan upaya untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah-limbah cangkang kerang menjadi produk-produk seni kerajinan kreatif yang bisa diperdagangkan. Sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil limbah yang bermanfaat dan dapat menghasilkan, maka dilakukan pemberian tambahan pengetahuan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (P2M). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kantor Desa Pantai Mekar dan bermitra dengan PKBM Serat Bangsa dan PKBM I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Muara Gembong, Bekasi. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian pertama dari rangakaian P2M 3 (tiga) tahaun Prodi Sarjana Terapan Tekonologi Rekayasa Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung FT UNJ. Bagian pertama dari kegiatan P2M ini adalah berupa pengenalan dan persiapan bahan baku cangkang kerang dengan kombinasi resin. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan P2M ini, berupa kegiatan persiapan, pelaksanaan yang berisi ceramah dan demonstrasi pemanfaatan limbah cangkang kerang dengan kombinasi resin dan ditutup dengan pembuatan luaran kegiatan pegabdian. Kegiatan bagian pertama ini berhasil menambah pemahaman dan keterampilan warga akan pemanfaatan limbah cangkang kerang.

Abstract

The public as users of construction service products are increasingly aware of the need for quality products that meet the required quality standards. Efforts to obtain construction products with the desired quality is to improve the quality of human resources. One of them is the collaboration between universities and vocational schools in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Instruction Number 9 of 2016, through increasing the competence of vocational students in terms of knowledge about building maintenance and maintenance within the scope of housekeeping in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number: 24/PRT/M/2008. Implementation on Saturday, September 12, 2020 via a Webinar with the "Zoom Cloud Meeting" application. The number of participants who took part in the activities from 5 vocational schools in Jakarta and Bekasi was 67 participants. The results of the evaluation using pre-test and post-test question instruments for 61 respondents showed: (1) there was an increase in the knowledge of SMK students about regulations in the construction industry related to building maintenance and maintenance competencies in the range of 16% - 26% before the webinar and after that 65% - 80%; and (2) Increased knowledge of building maintenance and maintenance work related to housekeeping increased between 25% to 50% or there were additional 15 - 30 people.

Abstract

Survey and mapping in the Industrial 4.0 era increasingly requires personnel who have the knowledge and skills in data survey management such as the use of the Surfer 11 application. Through community service activities carried out in 2021 with a target audience of Students of the Building Modeling and Information Design Study Program (DPIB) SMKN 1 Cikarang Barat, Kab. Bekasi, West Java Province, whose objectives increasing knowledge and specific are: (1) Introducing DPIB students about processing measurement and mapping data; and (2) providing an understanding of the use of the Surfer 11 application. The method used is in the form of online training with lectures. Evaluation of the success of the program is carried out through pre-test and post-test questionnaires according to the class material. The results of the implementation of the activity were attended by 141 on the first day and 144 on the second day from 156 participants. The results of data collection for evaluation of activities from 50 respondents can be concluded: (1) training participants for the use of the Surfer 11 application from those who do not know to become familiar or know from 70% are reduced to 6%; and (2) his understanding of the Surfer 11 Application showed that from those who did not understand (4 – 8%) to understand to very understand (28 – 54%).
