Abstract

Currently, the development of communication technology is very advanced with the presence of cellular and internet technology. However, when there is a public security disturbance and in an emergency situation, cellular communication devices are very dependent on electricity sources and pulses to communicate. Besides, if a natural disaster occurs, the power source will go out and the cellular provider BTS will not function. Radio communication can be used as an adequate alternative technology in dealing with emergencies. Radio communication can be established using simple equipment such as HT (Hand Transceiver), transmitting antennas and repeater stations to extend the communication range. The advantages of radio communication are that it is easier to implement, economical, and has a wide coverage. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to improve skills in using emergency communication tools and provide an understanding of Standard Operating Procedures on how to communicate in an emergency situation. The target of this activity includes members of the National Disaster Relief Agency (BPBD) at Yogyakarta City. There are 2 activities, namely radio frequency regulation and skills workshops using emergency communication tools (HT). The result of this community service activity is that the participants are skilled in communicating using HT in times of emergency.

Abstract

Joketro Village, Parang District is one of the villages in Magetan Regency, East Java, where most of the people make a living as producers and sellers of traditional herbal medicine. From generation to generation, this herb is a legacy from our ancestors which is preserved and beneficial for the health of the human body. Currently, these herbs are only produced on a small scale and are only sold by going door to door. The Universitas PGRI Madiun community service aims to help improve the herbal medicine business. The methods used include: 1) we donated PIR sensor-based automatic grater machines, and 2) provided assistance and training in the use of tools for herbal medicine entrepreneurs with the aim of increasing herbal medicine production. The result of mentoring is that herbal medicine entrepreneurs have the skills to use machine technology to increase the quantity of herbal medicine produced. By increasing herbal medicine production, it will certainly improve the community's economy, especially herbal medicine entrepreneurs in Joketro Village.

Abstract

The potential for fires increased at this time. Many factors cause fire, both small sale and large scale, such as forest fires. Early detection of fire is one of the right solutions. The Research about detection fire use any methods, you can use UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), Android devices, and other technologies that are mostly based on image processing. This is one of the research based on image processing with fire objects. Fire image will be processed in the features extraction with the source of the fire coming from the candle. The candle is used as a detection object because the color characteristics of the fire in the candle as same as a larger scale fire. The method used is feature extraction based on colour extraction in HSV color space (Hue Saturation Value) and RGB color space (Red Green Blue). The result of this research are parameters of each color space for fire detection, there are HSV color space get 0,2≥Hue≥0,1; 0,85≥Saturation≥0,5; and 1≥Value≥0,9, and also for RGB color space get 255≥Red≥230; 250≥Green≥100; and 130≥Blue.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the process of facial recognition has a very big role. Face recognition has benefits for authentication and identification processes. The development of facial recognition research continues to be carried out with the aim of being able to get the right algorithm, more accurate, faster processing, to be able to recognize faces from various angles. In this study, a performance test was performed on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm with the AlexNet architecture, which is one of the deep learning algorithm developments for facial recognition. AlexNet has 8 convolution layers so that it will not leave even the slightest feature of the object. The process of training and testing the system uses the MATLAB programming language. The number of datasets used is 400 image data which is divided into 360 training image data and 40 test image data. The 400 data come from 4 classes of facial images that have been labeled with names and each classes have 100 images. The training process produces an accuracy of 100% and the testing process produces an accuracy of 95%.

Abstract

Electronics Practicum in the Laboratory is a routine activity carried out to support student skills. Capacitors are one of the components that are often used in practice. Capacitors are one of the passive electronic components that have a magnitude value in the form of capacitance in Farad units. The capacitance value indicates the capacitor's ability to store electric charge. However, the value contained on the capacitor label is not necessarily the actual value because the capacitor has a tolerance range. Of course, this is very influential in the measurement and performance of electronic circuits that use capacitors. In addition, another factor that supports this research is that the available measuring instruments, such as the multimeter, are not yet equipped with capacitance measurements. Capacitance meters available in the market are still analog. The purpose of this study is to design a device that can measure the capacitance value of capacitors as a measurement device in a digital laboratory, namely the Digital Capacitance Meter. This device is made using Arduino Uno as a microprocessor for data processing. The method used is to apply the process of charging and discharging the capacitor. In this case, Arduino Uno activates a timer to measure the time required to charge and discharge the capacitor so that the Time Constant value is obtained. By using the formula T = 0.693RC, the capacitance value can be obtained. In testing using 3 different capacitors and 10 times testing on each capacitor, the accuracy of the device is 97.76% and a relative error of 2.24%.

Abstract

Small and medium-sized micro enterprises (UMKM) are one of the economic activities that can improve the economy of the community. The empowerment of UMKM as an attempt to improve the economy of the post-Covid 19 pandemic community was also carried out by the citizens of Dusun Mangirejo district of Saradan, Madiun district. The initial purpose of cultivating this mushroom was to create positive activities for mothers around the UMKM site. In addition, this activity is also expected to increase the input of the UMKM. The strategy used by UMKM managers is that they have not used labelling, product packaging and have not mastered design. The solution to be achieved is to use technology as a means of marketing, in addition to the labelling and peckaging of products to expand the product distribution market. Activities in the implementation of dedication include socialization of product labeling, product packaging design skills training, and socialisation of product marketing with media sosial. Results of activities show that socialization and training activities have a significant impact on UMKM Sido Lancar. This is evident in the ability of UMKM perpetrators to design simple logos, design product packaging labels, as well as their ability to promote through media sosial.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dan internet dalam pembelajaran telah mengalami peningkatan untuk kepentingan pembelajaran. Internet dapat digunakan untuk mengoperasikan alat dari jarak jauh dengan teknologi modern Internet of Things (IoT) yang dikembangkan dalam media pembelajaran elektronika. Penelitian ini merancang Trainer Arduino Wemos D1 dengan memanfaatkan Internet of Things (IoT) untuk pembelajaran teknologi elektronika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang trainer Arduino Wemos D1 berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dan dapat digunakan pada mata Kuliah Dasar Pemrograman agar mahasiswa dapat mempelajari mengenai penggunaan Internet of Things (IoT). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Melalui model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation) penelitian ini berhasil merancang Trainer Arduino Wemos D1 yang terdiri dari menghidupkan LED dengan pushbutton dan Blynk, jarak parkir menggunakan sensor Ultrasonik Output LCD, Buzzer dan terhubung ke Blynk, monitoring suhu dan kelembaban menggunakan sensor DHT11 dengan Output LCD, Kipas DC dan Blynk, dan alarm anti maling berdasarkan gerakan tangan menggunakan sensor PIR dengan Output LCD, Buzzer, LED dan Blynk. Keberhasilan penelitian ini dalam merancang Trainer Arduino Wemos D1 dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran dan praktikum pada mata kuliah Dasar Pemrograman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat bahan ajar berupa Modul Pembelajaran Elektronika Digital Berbasis Aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook, heyzine flipbook ini adalah Modul Digital yang dapat diakses dimana saja, sehingga lebih praktis digunakan menjadi media belajar. aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook merupakan aplikasi yang digunakan untuk dapat mengakses bahan ajar secara Digital. Metode yang dipakai Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), juga dikenal sebagai model 4 D, digunakan sebagai metodologi penelitian. Model pengembangan 4D terdiri dari empat tahap utama: Define (pendefinisian), Design (perencanaan), Development (pengembangan), dan Disseminate. Metode dan model ini dipilih karena tujuan peneliti adalah untuk menghasilkan produk seperti pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Elektronika Digital Berbasis Aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook. Hasil dari skor penilaian validator dicari persentase kelayakan dengan menggunakan skala likert untuk mendapatkan hasil kelayakan modul pembelajaran elektronika digital. Berdasarkan tabel penilaian validasi ahli yang mengacu pada tabel 4.6 diperoleh hasil validator 1 (89%), validator II (88%), validator III (87%). kiteria kelayakan dapat dinyatakan bahwa penilaian validasi yang dinilai oleh tiga validator terhadap modul pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat layak, karena tiga validator mendapatkan hasil persentase di atas 81%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Pembelajaran Elektronika Digital berbasis aplikasi heyzine flipbook "Sangat Layak" untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran untuk mata kuliah Elektronika Digital.

Abstract

Penurunan kapasitas lahan parkir di kota-kota besar menjadi salah satu permasalahan utama dalam manajemen parkir. Banyak area parkir yang tidak terkelola dengan baik, menyebabkan kemacetan dan ketidakefisienan dalam penggunaan lahan. Sistem pemantauan parkir otomatis dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan parkir dan mengurangi kemacetan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan prototipe sistem pemantauan parkir otomatis menggunakan Arduino dan sensor inframerah untuk mendeteksi ketersediaan ruang parkir secara real-time. Metode yang digunakan meliputi perancangan perangkat keras berbasis Arduino dengan multi sensor inframerah sebagai alat deteksi kendaraan, motor servo sebagai aktuator untuk palang pintu otomatis dan led sebagai indikator/status ketersediaan lahan parkir. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memonitor status parkir di beberapa titik secara simultan dan mengirimkan informasi tersebut ke pengguna melalui layar atau tampilan led. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya prototipe sistem pemantauan parkir yang dapat berfungsi secara efektif untuk mendeteksi ruang parkir yang kosong dan memberikan informasi tersebut kepada pengguna secara akurat. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan parkir dan mengurangi waktu yang dibutuhkan pengguna dalam mencari tempat parkir dan memudahkan petugas dalam memantau ketersediaan tempat parkir.

Abstract

Pembelajaran anak usia dini (PAUD) merupakan tahap penting dalam proses pendidikan yang memberikan landasan bagi perkembangan sosial, emosional, kognitif, dan fisik anak. Pada usia ini, anak-anak berada dalam fase kritis untuk belajar melalui pengalaman dan interaksi. Energi sangat penting untuk kehidupan manusia. Energi dibutuhkan sehari-hari untuk mendukung aktivitas manusia dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Sinar matahari merupakan salah satu energi alam yang murah dan mudah didapatkan. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman dan pengetahuan kepada anak-anak usia dini khususnya di usia Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) tentang manfaat energi matahari/surya menggunakan media edukatif berbentuk diorama yang sederhana dan menarik.. Dengan memanfaatkan diorama dan metode bermain sambil belajar, diharapkan siswa TK mampu mengenal dan belajar tentang manfaat energi matahari secara sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di TKIT Nur Mujahidin dengan peserta kurang lebih 25 siswa TK B. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan lancar, dan materi dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada siswa TK.
