Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of History, specifically on the material of Islamic Culture at SMA 3 Central Maluku. Initial data showed that students understanding of the material had not reached the expected competency standards. Therefore, this study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method used is classroom action research with data collected through learning outcome tests and observations during the learning process. The subjects of the study were 11th-grade students at SMA 3 Central Maluku. The results indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model significantly improves students understanding and learning outcomes on Islamic Culture material. Thus, the PBL model can be an effective alternative to enhance the quality of history learning in senior high school.

Abstract

Health sociology study that sexual crimes are a form of social deviation. This is because the act is very contrary to the provisions of norms and positive laws that apply to be studied from the legal aspect, causes and solutions to resolve the problem of sexual harassment socially. The purpose of the PkM activity is an effort to prevent sexual harassment of adolescents and it is expected to know the parts of the body with permissible and unacceptable touch and efforts to avoid various forms of deviation and sexual behavior. The method of PKM activities from this program is health education for adolescents in an effort to prevent sexual harassment by improving the quality of parent-adolescent relationships. The results of the activity were carried out well and smoothly with the number of participants in this activity totaling 41 people. The conclusion is that sexual violence against adolescents is a form of violence that is destructive and violates so that individual awareness and the active role of society in strengthening the mechanism for protecting adolescents from sexual violence still need to be pursued together to produce a positive and meaningful impact in protecting adolescents in their social environment.

Abstract

Digital space has now become a medium for contestation and competition, including in the field of religion, in the context of Indonesia's multireligious society. YouTube is one of the social media that has become a digital space that can give rise to polemics of intolerance in religious harmony in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to find out the polemic of religious intolerance on YouTube channels. Using qualitative methods and a netnographic approach, data collection was carried out using YouTube media with content that is in accordance with the orientation of this study, namely the polemic of religious intolerance. The results show that there are 15 YouTube channels that upload 20 video contents about religious debates, responses to the uploaded videos show various comments from netizens who claim the truth of their respective religions. The implications of claims regarding religious truth often manifest in intolerance, conflict, hatred, and even war. This study is expected to contribute to the prevention of religious intolerance and support religious moderation in order to achieve a more harmonious and tolerant religious life.
