Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of internal control system on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency. This study was a quantitative research with associative method. The population of this study was all nagari apparatus in Tanah Datar Regency, which numbered 600 people.Sample inthis study was consisted of 248 nagari apparatus determined with Slovin formula. Besides, samplein this study determined through multistage random sampling technique. Data in this study were collected through questionnaires with Likert scale measurement distributed to respondents. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicated that internal control system (in the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability stages, together and partially), had a significant effect on the performance of nagari apparatus in managing nagari financial in Tanah Datar Regency. So that it could be concluded that the internal control system of nagari apparatus had a significant effect on the performance of nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Tanah Datar Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by an indication that the lack of honesty, commitment and consistency in civil servants in carrying out their duties and obligations as well as low productivity in completing work. This study aims to determine 1) The effect of honesty on the work productivity of Civil Servants, 2) The effect of commitment to the work productivity of Civil Servants, 3) The Consistent Effect on Work Productivity for Civil Servants, and 4) The Influence of Integrity on the Civil Servants' work productivity . This research uses associative quantitative methods. The population of this study amounted to 72 people consisting of Civil Servants at the District Office and Lurah Office in the District of North Padang, and the sample of this study amounted to 70 respondents determined based on the Slovin formula with a significant level of 0.5%. The sampling of this research used the Multistage Random Sampling technique. This research instrument was questionnaire using a Likert scale measurement. The analysis of this study uses multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that the honesty sub-variable significantly influences the work productivity of Civil Servants in Padang Utara District with the results of the regression test of the Adjusted R Square value of 0.230, the commitment sub-variable significantly influences the work productivity of the Civil Servants with the results of the Adjusted R Square value test of 0.225, the consistent sub-variable has a significant effect on the work productivity of Civil Servants with the regression test value of the Adjust R Square value of 0.348. Together the honesty, commitment and consistent sub-variables significantly influence the work productivity of Civil Servants in Padang Utara District with the result of a regression test of Adjusted R Square value of 0.373.

Abstract

This study (article) was summarized based on experiences of Community Service program among younger generation in Padang Laweh Malalo Village at Tanah Datar Regency. This program was intended to increase the understanding and awareness the younger generation to the importance of preserving the traditional arts of randai as one of the cultural heritages and at the same time the potential and tourist attraction that has been neglected all this time. This study was inspired by various conditions that indicated the lack of interest, awareness, and skills of the younger generation in preserving this randai art, while on the other hand traditional randai art can be used as an attraction and is a potential for cultural tourism that can be packaged and adapted to the current context. Based on this condition, various coaching, training and management programs would be needed to improve the abilities and skills of partner groups, especially the youth group who were members of the "Sanggar Seni Salapan Suku" group at Kenagarian Padang Laweh Malalo Tanah Datar, both in terms of knowledge and skills, so that there will be professional youth groups and able to become pioneers and motivators for other youth in the development of traditional arts of randai. These coaching activities and programs needed to be conducted collaboratively and synergistically between the local government and universities.

Abstract

This study’s purpose was to identify : (1) the effect of family environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (2) the effect of school environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (3) the effect of community environment on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency; (4) the effect of an environment of family, environment of the school, and environment of the community simultaneously on employee integrity in OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The background of this research was because there were still many employee integrity problems found in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. This research type was quantitative research using statistical analysis. The research variable used the independent variable, namely the social environment, while the dependent variable was integrity. This research population was employees at the OPD Tanah Datar Regency. The total sample in the study amounted to 97 employees. The technique for data collection in this research was a questionnaire distributed to respondents through the measurement of the Likert scale. The research analysis uses a multiple linear regression test using SPSS software version 26.0. The research results indicated that: (1) There was a significant influence of the family environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (2) There was a significant influence of the school environment on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency. (3) There was a significant influence of the environment of the community on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency and (4) There were significant influences of the environments of family, school, and community simultaneously on the integrity of employees in the OPD of Tanah Datar Regency.

Abstract

Kepemimpian adalah sebuah kemampuan dalam proses atau fungsi guna mempengaruhi orang lain untuk melakukan sesuatu supaya mencapai sasaran tertentu. Kecakapan kepemimpianan sangat penting untuk sebuah perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuannya dan menghadapi tantangan yang ada. Tujuan pada penelitian kali ini guna mengetahui pengaruh dari kepemimpinan, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor PT Daikin Indonesia cabang Kota Bekasi. Penelitian kali ini berjenis kuantitatif data didapatkan secara langsung atau data primer. Pengumpulannya dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuisioner terhadap para karyawan yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2022. Penelitian juga mengunakan data sekunder yang berasal dari studi leteatur pada buku dan jurnal online. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan alat regresi linear berganda. Pada uji t signifikasi variabel kinerja terhadap variabel kepemimpinan sebesar 0,170 lebih dari alpha 0,05 maka tidak ada pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia. Uji t pada variabel kinerja terhadap variabel motivasi kerja sebesar 0,003 lebih kecil dari alpha 0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kepemimpinan tidak mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara parsial pada kantor PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia cabang Kota Bekasi. Sementara motivasi kerja mempengaruhi secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor PT Daikin Indonesia cabang Kota Bekasi.

Abstract

Padang City as the capital city of West Sumatra Province with its economic center is very committed to Regional Development. This can be seen from the many building and infrastructure development activities that are growing rapidly from year to year. The management of buildings is one of the physical forms of space utilization in the city of Padang. Buildings that are erected need to be arranged so that they are in accordance with the function and purpose of using the building. Building Construction Permit (IMB) or currently called Building Approval (PBG) is one of the building administration instruments that will become a regulatory and controlling instrument, for the construction and maintenance of buildings in the city of Padang.This article discusses the formulation of a public policy, namely the Mayor of Padang Regulation Number 378 of 2022 concerning the City Building and Infrastructure Supervision Team in 2022. This research aims to identify and analyze the reasons behind the Padang City Government sparking the idea to form a Building and Infrastructure Monitoring Team Cities in 2022. Through the approach used in this study, namely a qualitative approach, researchers can find out and carry out an analysis of the formulation process for various reasons until the issuance of a policy product. The results of this study are the formulation process which is carried out through four stages with a typical formulation model, namely a mixed model between the institutional model and the rationalism model.

Abstract

The Municipal Government of Padang through North Padang District continues to make changes and developments in governance through bureaucratic reform. There are 8 areas of change in bureaucratic reform that need to be carried out seriously and sustainably. One of the important areas of change is a change in mindset and culture set (work culture). Mayor of Padang Decree Number 274 of 2019 concerning Bureaucratic Reform Change Agents for the Padang City Government assigns individuals or groups of organizational members from the leadership level to employees to be able to drive change in the work environment and at the same time act as role models for each individual organization. This study analyzes the influence of the work culture of change agents on the behavior of bureaucratic apparatus using a descriptive quantitative approach and the population is all State Civil Servants of the North Padang District with a total of 71 people based on the bezzeting of this District in December 2022. Data collection with this questionnaire starts from distribution until all questionnaires were collected again in full took place from October to December 2022. This questionnaire was prepared according to a Likert scale which was made based on the Padang Mayor Regulation Number 18 of 2016 concerning Guidelines for the Development of Change Agents. Based on this research data, it can be seen that the work culture of change agents has an influence significant and contributed 17.4% while the remaining 82.6% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Abstract

This research is start from the various problems in practical reformation and inovation of local goverment in public service realization, especially in implementation of investment affair and integrated license service. Based on data and result of analysis are found that realization of reformation and public service inovation in Board of Investment and Integrated License Service at Lima Puluh Kota Regency is not running well. Reformation practical and public sevice inovation all this time have many problems because of minimum budget factor, less of human resources, minimum of tools and infrastructures and information technology. Public service approach that are used is based on good governance principles with Structural Adjustment Programs (SAPs) pattern that have standardized in Standard Operational System (SOP) that tend to awkward and the dimensions of sound governance is not fulfill yet. Based on the riil condition from realization of reformation and inovation that public service, it can be arranged the ideas to reform the principle and public service regulation in Board of Investment and Integrated License Service at Lima Puluh Kota Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the impact caused by the dynamics of society and culture on changes in the Nagari Salayo community, Solok Regency and what efforts can be made. This study uses qualitative research methods to make it easier for researchers to describe research in an open and in-depth manner regarding research problems. The research was conducted in Nagari Salayo, Solok Regency. The data sources studied by researchers used qualitative research methods based on positivism philosophy, as research informants namely the nagari guardian, the community and the parties involved. The research results obtained in this case the dynamics of society will continue to develop and grow over time. The process between humans and culture is an aspect that is interrelated so that the impact can be both positive and negative. Cultural changes in Nagari Salayo towards the lives of the surrounding community, namely where the existence of a new culture that collaborates with the old culture makes the community less culotte and people's thinking becomes more developed because the incoming culture is adjusted to the times and the old culture which previously existed in the village of Selayo. The efforts made by the people of Nagari Salayo are to continue to adapt according to the existing conditions.

Abstract

Lack of public understanding of the importance of waste management is a major consideration in overcoming waste problems. Not only relying on government mediation and depending on cleaning staff Of course, but the local area as the main producer of waste must accept activity in administration. The essence of this exploration is: 1) knowing the basis behind the existence of waste management in the city of Padang, 2) knowing the structure of waste management in the city of Padang, 3) knowing the social activities of the local city community in managing waste. This study uses a qualitative subjective exploration strategy. Methods The variety of information used are: perceptions, meetings, and documentation. The information legitimacy test is carried out through source triangulation. The procedure for investigating information in this study uses the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The hypothesis used is the Social Action Hypothesis. The results of this study are social activities carried out by Padang residents in conquering the waste problem confirmed by the arrangement of various types of waste management, such as TPS 3R, Garbage Bank, and Garbage Scholarship.
