Abstract

Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) sejak dini merupakan program pembiasaan literasi yang penting bagi siswa SD. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk menguatkan GLS di lingkup SD. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi yang berlokasi di SDN Jerukgamping. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini yaitu melalui kegiatan sosialisasi, sekolah dapat mengoptimalkan kembali program yang sempat tidak berlanjut dengan memperkuat wawasan pemtingnya dan tujuan GLS melalui peran guru. Selain itu, peran orang tua/wali siswa juga diikutsertakan dalam mendukung keberhasilan literasi sejak dini. Gerakan 15 menit membaca sebelum memulai pembelajaran kembali berjalan seperti semula. Selanjutnya guru juga memperoleh referensi strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dengan pembiasaan literasi. Optimalisasi sarana pendukung literasi seperti penyediaan perpustakaan dan referensi bacaannya serta penataan kembali pojok baca.

Abstract

Era globalisasi telah membawa perubahan besar dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan Islam sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional dituntut untuk mampu menjawab tantangan zaman tanpa kehilangan esensi nilai-nilai keislaman. Globalisasi memunculkan tantangan dalam bentuk pergeseran nilai, arus informasi yang massif, serta dominasi budaya Barat yang berpotensi mengikis etika dan moral generasi muda. Namun demikian, di balik tantangan tersebut tersimpan peluang besar bagi pendidikan Islam untuk memainkan peran strategis dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang beriman, berilmu, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam posisi, tantangan, kelemahan, dan peluang pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi serta merumuskan strategi penguatan yang dapat diimplementasikan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam memerlukan revitalisasi kurikulum, peningkatan profesionalitas tenaga pendidik, integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dan ilmu pengetahuan, serta dukungan kebijakan pemerintah. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam tidak hanya menjadi benteng moral, tetapi juga menjadi pilar peradaban dalam membangun bangsa yang mandiri dan berdaya saing global.

Abstract

Diagnostic assessment is a process for measuring students' abilities or skills so that they can provide important information to teachers so that teachers can determine and provide learning that is appropriate to students' learning models and increase students' enthusiasm and academic achievement. Research on the influence of assessment on students' enthusiasm for learning is very necessary. This is an urgency in the world of education. The reason the researchers made MI Maarif Ketegan Sidoarjo the object of research was because MI Maarif Ketegan was one of the 5 MIs that had a decree to implement the independent curriculum. Apart from that, researchers also saw that the facilities and infrastructure, educational staff and other supports were very good. This research is correlation research with a quantitative approach. In this research, researchers did not take action to prove the effectiveness of a strategy, method, or media. However, researchers used an alternative that contained several questions aimed at students. The questions included are questions with yes/no answers with a total of 10 questions. Based on research conducted on June 9 2023, researchers found that with a percentage of 94% of students having a final learning score in the "very high" interpretation, there was a fairly high increase. with an initial assessment value of 53% in the "low" interpretation. have enthusiasm for learning with a percentage of 93% of students having enthusiasm for learning in the "good" interpretation. There is an influence in implementing diagnostic assessment (x) on enthusiasm for learning (y) with a coefficient of 0.519 at a significance level of 5%. The application of diagnostic assessments in an effort to increase enthusiasm for learning among class IV students at MI Maarif Ketegan Sidoarjo is included in the quite strong category in the range of 0.400 – 0.700.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop big book media to improve the reading skills of early grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (MINU) Ngingas Waru Sidoarjo. The research method used is development research developed by Borg and Gall. There are four stages of development carried out in this study, namely: initial data collection, planning, development, and validation and testing. The results showed that the students' reading skills were very good. In the initial data of 39% reading skills and when intervened using big book media in the third trial stage, data obtained 85 percent of the average reading skills of students. So it can be concluded that the effectiveness of using big books is very good with a 46 percent increase in the level of reading skills of early grade students who have reading difficulties.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of digital literacy in enhancing writing and storytelling skills among participants of the Gendis Sewu program in Rungkut District, Surabaya. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, using primary data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used pattern matching, explanation building, and time-series analysis techniques. The results reveal that the digital literacy initiative supported by the Surabaya City Library and Archives Office utilizes the Taman Kalimas platform. The Gendis Sewu program, which includes writing and storytelling classes, has significantly improved participants' abilities to gather information, express ideas, and produce works such as e-books and storytelling videos. This study highlights the effectiveness of integrating digital literacy into educational activities and recommends broader implementation in similar contexts. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D yang menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Zig-zag Learning Book atau Zook. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media Zook. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu validasi, observasi, angket dan tes evaluasi. Hasil data dianalisis menggunakan skala likert dan skala guttman yang selanjutnya dihitung dengan rumus persentase sedangkan hasil tes menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian meliputi tiga hal meliputi hasil kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Kevalidan berdasarkan ahli materi diperoleh sebesar 90%, kegrafikan sebesar 86,7% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan penggunaan media Zook sebesar 4,56 dengan kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan media Zook berdasarkan hasil respon siswa sebesar 95,4% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

The Education Quality Improvement Consortium in schools conducted mentoring in Malang Regency to enhance teachers’ and students’ awareness and understanding of integrating climate change content into the learning curriculum. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity not only to comprehend climate issues but also to take responsible environmental action. Mentoring was implemented through a training-based approach covering planning, implementation, simulation, and evaluation. Activities included developing training modules, conducting module simulations, and administering post-training assessments. Results showed that participants successfully produced training modules, carried out simulations effectively, and achieved strong post-test scores. Participants’ understanding of climate change reached an average of 91%, indicating solid conceptual mastery. Additionally, participants demonstrated high skills in integrating climate-related content into their learning plans, with an average score of 96%. Overall, the mentoring program proved effective in enhancing both conceptual mastery and curriculum-integration skills related to climate change education.
