Abstract

Utilization of plants as traditional medicinal are still always be used by people in Indonesian. Especially in rural areas that still rich with variety of plants. Plants of black pudding leaves (Graptophyllum pictum Griff) are one that efficacious for treating various of diseases. The content of flavonoid in the black pudding leaves have antipyretic effect, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. This research aims to find out whether the black pudding leaves have antipyretic effect or not. This research used the induction method of vaccineDPT-Hb 0.022 / 20 gr a white rat as stimulant fever. Positive control with paracetamol 1.3 mg / 20 gram a white rat, negative control with Na CMC 0.5 ml / 20 grams a white rat, first extract test of black pudding leaves 0.8 mg / 20 gram a white rat, second extract test of black pudding leaves 1.6 / 20 gram a white rat, and third extract test of black pudding leaves 3.2 / 20 gram a white rat. The results of research showed that ethanol extract of black pudding leaves if it’s looked from statistic result of SPSS 16 program , it doesn’t show out of any effect as antipyretic effect because the significant value is P> 0.05.

Abstract

Graptophyllum pictum L Griff Leaves in the community are used as medicinal ingredients, one of which is for analgesics. Black pudding leaves contain secondary metabolite compounds that act as suspected analgesics, namely flavonoids. The ethanolic extract of black pudding leaves has been formulated into cream and ointment preparations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of analgesic preparations of black pudding leaves (Graptophyllum pictum L. Griff) ethanol extract in white male mice. The effectiveness of analgesics was tested using the hotplate method. The test animals used were 25 white male mice which were divided into 5 groups: negative control (F0), positive control (Ichtiol® ointment), and black pudding leaf F1 (10%), F2 (15%) ethanol extract treatment group, and F3 (20%). Observation of stretching of mice was done after the feet of mice were induced and immediately given treatment. Observation of analgesic percentage in each mouse was carried out every 5 minutes for 60 minutes. The data obtained were processed and analyzed using one-way ANOVA and Duncan test with a 95% confidence level. One-way ANOVA test results showed that there were significant differences between treatment groups (0.003 <0.05). The results of the average percentage of analgesic effectiveness of formula 2 have a good effect that is equal to 77.969%. Duncan's test results showed that the group that gave the best analgesic effectiveness was formula 2 (15%) comparable to positive control.

Abstract

Daun Tanaman Randu (Ceiba Pentandra .(L) Gaertn) dimasyarakat digunakan sebagai obat, salah satunya untuk antiinflamasi. Daun randu mempunyai kandunganflavonoid sebagai senyawa metabolit sekunder yang diduga berperan sebagai antiinflamasi. Ekstrak etanol daun randu telah diformulasikan menjadi sediaan krim. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas antiinflamasi sediaan krim ekstrak etanol daun randu pada mencit jantan putih. Efektifitas antiinflamasi diuji menggunakan metode Inflammation-associated edema. Hewan uji yang digunakan sebanyak 30 ekor mencit jantan putih yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu kontrol normal, kontrol negatif (F0), kontrol positif (Krim Hidrokortison), dan kelompok perlakuan krim ekstrak etanol daun randu F1 (10%), F2 (15%), dan F3 (20%). Pengamatan dan pengukuran volume tebal lipat kulit punggung mencit menggunakan jangka sorong digital dilakukan saat sebelum diinduksi dan setelah diinduksi karagenan 2%. Pengamatan penurunan volume tebal lipat kulit punggung mencit dilakuan setiap satu jam sekali selama 6 jam. Data yang didapatdiolahdandianalisa menggunakan one-way anovadanuji duncandengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%.Hasil uji one-way anova menunjukan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar kelompok perlakuan (0,967>0,05). Hasil uji duncan menunjukan bahwa antar kelompok perlakuan memiliki efektivitas antiinflamasi yang hampir sama.

Abstract

Randu plant leaves (Ceiba pentandra (L) Gaertn) are commonly used in traditional medicine, one of which is an analgesic with secondary metabolites which are thought to be analgesics, namely flavonoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the analgesic effectiveness of the ethanol extract cream of randu leaves (Ceiba pentandra (L) Gaertn) in white male mice (Mus musculus). The research on the analgesic effectiveness of the ethanol extract cream of randum leaves used the hot plate method and used male white mice as the experimental animal media. The soles of the hind legs of the mice were heated over hot plated with a temperature of 550C then the test animals were given the treatment which was divided into 5 treatment groups, namely positive control (Conterpain cream), negative control (F0), F1 (10%), F2 (15%), F3 (20%) and 1 normal group. The response of mice was calculated every 30 minutes in 120 minutes. The data obtained were analyzed using the one-way ANOVA statistical test followed by the Duncan test with a confidence level of 99%. The results of the one-way ANOVA test showed that there were significant differences between treatment groups (0.00 <0.05). The results of the Duncan test showed that the group that provided the best analgesic effectiveness was F2 (15%) but not better than Positive Control.

Abstract

Daun randu (Ceiba pentandra L.) secara tradisional di manfaatkan sebagai obat luka bakar dengan kandungan metabolit sekunder saponin yang memiliki efek penyembuhan luka bakar. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui efek krim ekstrak Daun Randu berkhasiat pada penyembuhan luka bakar.Penelitian merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan 5 kelompok hewan uji. Kontrol (-) F0, kontrol (+) Bioplacenton, F1 ekstrakdaun randu 10%, F2 ekstrak daun randu 15% dan F3 ekstrak 20%. Uji efektifitas krim ekstrak daun randu terhadap penyembuhan luka bakar dilakukan dengan induksi luka bakar menggunakan solder yang di modifikasi dengan suhu mencapai 1000 C pada punggung mencit yang telah di cukur bulunya dengan menggunakan Veet dengan diameter 1cm. Proses penyembuhan luka bakar dilakukan selama 14 hari, dihitung diameter luka bakar setiap pagi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 16 dengan uji one way anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan yang bermaknaatau berbedanyata dengan nilai signifikansi (< 0,05) antara kontrol (-), kontrol (+), F1,F2,dan F3.Krimekstraketanoldaunrandumemberikanefekterbaikyaitu F3.

Abstract

Daun puding hitam (Graftophyllum pictum (L.) Griff) oleh masyarakat dimanfaatkan untuk pengobatan antiinflamasi, obat luka dan bisul. Penggunaan daun puding hitam sebagai obat luar masih sangat sederhana dengan cara menghaluskan daun puding hitam dengan air secukupnya kemudian dioleskan sehingga memerlukan waktu untuk membuatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat ekstrak etanol daun puding hitam dalam bentuk krim sehingga memudahkan dalam penggunaannya. Pembuatan ekstrak dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 70%. Ekstrak etanol daun puding hitam dilakukan evaluasi ekstrak meliputi organoleptis, pH, Kelarutan, kadar abu dan uji flavonoid. Ekstrak kemudian diformulasi menjadi krim dengan konsentrasi 10%, 15% dan 20% dan dievaluasi selama 3 minggu meliputi sifat fisiknya meliputi warna, bau, konsistensi, pH, homogenitas dan daya sebar. Data yang diperoleh dari uji pH dan daya sebar dianalisis secara statistik dengan ANOVA One way. Hasil uji pH didapat nilai sig 0.000 (<0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak mempengaruhi pH sediaan krim. pH pada penyimpanan stabil dengan nilai sig 0.994 (>0.05). Konsentrasi ekstrak tidak mempengaruhi daya sebar dengan nilai sig 0.910 (>0.05), tetapi mempengaruhi warna. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak semakin pekat warna krim. Krim bersifat homogen, pH 5-6 dan tidak mengiritasi kulit pada 10 orang panelis, tetapi tidak memenuhi syarat daya sebar yang baik.Leaves of puding hitam (Graftophyllum pictum (L.) Griff) is used by the people as anti-inflammatory treatment, cure wounds and ulcers. The us of leaves puding hitam as external medicine is very simply by mixed puding hitam leaves with water then it can be applied but it takes a time to make it. This reseach objective make ethanol extract of puding hitam as a cream so it more easy in using. Making extraction is done by maceration method us ethanol 70%. The ethanol extract of leaves puding hitam is evaluatid includes extracts organoleptic, pH, solubility, ash content and flavonoid test. Then it’s formulated into a cream with 10%, 15% and 20% concentration. The evaluated is done in three weeks include physical properties color, odor, consistency, pH, homogeneity and dispersive power. This data is obtained from the scatter pH test and statistically analyzed by ANOVA One way. The pH test results obtained sig 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the concentration of the extract affects the pH of the cream preparations. pH stable on storage with sig 0.994 (> 0.05). The extract concentration did not affect the scatter with sig 0.910 (>0.05), but it can more affects of the color. The higher concentration of extract will be more dark to cream color. Cream is homogeneous, pH 5-6 and does not irritate the skin at the 10 panelists, but did not qualify good dispersive power.
