Abstract

This research arranged to know the difference of average Return and Risk of sharia stock in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and conventional stock in IDX30 in the period 2014 until 2016. The type of this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. The location of this research is the website of Indonesia Stock Exchange www.idx.co.id as a secondary data’s provider which provide issuer’s names included in JII and IDX30 and closing price of monthly stock period 2014 until 2016. Data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive and inferential statistic analysis. The results of descriptive analysis within 3 years showed that the average return of sharia stock is 0.005566501 or 0.56% while the average return of conventional stock is 0.0090529 or 0.91%. The Risk level of Sharia stock fora period of 3 years is 0.086718628 or 8.7% while the level of risk of conventional stock is 0.085490516 or 8.55%. Based on the results of inferential analysis by using different test (Independent Sample t-test) obtained result that there is no significant difference between return and risk of sharia stock with conventional stock.Keywords: Return, Risk, Sharia Stock, Conventional Stock ABSTRAK Penelitian ini disusun untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata Return dan Risk saham syariah di Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) dan saham konvensional di IDX30 pada periode 2014 s.d 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu website Bursa Efek Indonesia www.idx.co.id sebagai penyedia data sekunder berupa nama-nama emiten yang termasuk dalam indeks JII dan IDX30 serta data closing price saham bulanan periode 2014 s.d 2016. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif dalam kurun waktu 3 tahun menujukkan bahwa rata-rata return saham syariah sebesar 0,005566501 atau 0,56% sedangkan rata-rata return saham konvensional sebesar 0,0090529 atau 0,91%. Adapun tingkat Risk saham syariah selama kurun waktu 3 tahun sebesar 0,086718628 atau 8,7% sedangkan tingkat risk saham konvensional sebesar 0,085490516 atau 8,55%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan uji beda (Independent Sample t-test) didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara return dan risk saham syariah dengan saham konvensional. Abstract

This study examined the Holding Period of the shares of LQ-45 Index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during period 2014-2016. The sample was 14 companies which always listed in LQ-45 Index during the research period. The data used are secondary data retrieved by the method of documentation. From the test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 55,6% Holding Period can be explained by Bid Ask Spread, Market Value, and Dividend Payout Ratio, while the rest 44,4% explained by other factors outside the variable Bid Ask Spread, Market Value, and Dividend Payout Ratio. From the results of the partial hypothesis testing (t test) obtained the result that variable Bid Ask Spread has not significant influence on the holding period. Variable Market Value and Dividend Payout Ratio has significant influence on Holding Period. From the results of hypothesis testing significantly (Ftest) can be said there is a significant influence silmutaneously between the Bid Ask Spread, Market Value, and Dividend Payout Ratio of the Holding Period. АBSTRАK Penelitian ini menguji Holding Period saham-saham Indeks LQ-45 di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2014-2016. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 14 perusahaan yang selalu masuk dalam daftar Indeks LQ-45 selama periode penelitian. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang diambil dengan metode dokumentasi. Dari hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi (R2) didapat nilai sebesar 55,6% Holding Period dapat dijelaskan oleh Bid Ask Spread, Market Value dan Dividend Payout Ratio, sedangkan sisanya 44,4% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain di luar variabel Bid Ask Spread, Market Value dan Dividend Payout Ratio. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis secara parsial (uji t) diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel Bid Ask Spread tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Holding Period. Variabel Market Value dan Dividend Payout Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Holding Period. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis secara simultan (uji F) dapat dikatakan bahwa Bid Ask Spread, Market Value dan Dividend Payout Ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Holding Period. Abstract

This study aims to explain the differences between a company's financial performance before and after the initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in terms of the current ratio, debt ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on investment, return on equity, and total asset turn over. Sampling research using a purposive sampling method for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015. Sampling companies in accordance with specified criteria are 10 companies. Analysis of the data used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis of the sample company's financial data, namely the financial ratios of the two years before and two years after the Initial Public Offering, and inferential statistical analysis consisting of normality tests and hypothesis testing. Hypothesis tests used in this study are paired t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the company's financial performance before and after the IPO as measured using the current ratio(CR), debt ratio(DR), debt to equity ratio(DER), and return on equity(ROE). There is no significant difference in the company's financial performance before and after the IPO which is measured using the ratio of financial return on investment(ROI) and total assets turn over(TATO). АBSTRАK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah initial public offering di Bursa Efek Indonesia dilihat dari current ratio, debt ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on investment, return on equity, dan total asset turn over. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling terhadap perusahaan yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2015. Perusahaan sampel yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan sebanyak 10 perusahaan. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif terhadap data keuangan perusahaan sampel yaitu rasio keuangan periode dua tahun sebelum dan dua tahun sesudah Initial Public Offering, serta analisis statistik inferensial yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah paired t-test dan wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah IPO yang diukur dengan menggunakan current ratio (CR), debt ratio (DR), debt to equity ratio (DER), dan return on equity (ROE). Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan sebelum dan sesudah IPO yang diukur menggunakan rasio keuangan return on investment (ROI) dan total assets turn over (TATO).   Kata kunci: Initial Public Offering, IPO, Rasio Keuangan, Kinerja Keuangan, BEI.

Abstract

Desa Sumbersekar, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang memiliki potensi kerajinan sulam yang berpotensi untuk menjadi objek wisata edukasi. Namun, belum adanya program pemberdayaan kelompok pengrajin sulam dan minimnya pemahaman terkait strategi pemasaran menjadikan potensi tersebut belum banyak dikenal masyarakat. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah mendampingi kelompok pengrajin dalam memperkuat strategi pemasaran produk kerajinan sulam sebagai objek wisata edukasi berbasis kearifan lokal. Terdapat sebelas tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mulai dari pengajuan perizinan pengabdian masyarakat dan identifikasi awal permasalahan pengrajin sulam hingga evaluasi dampak video dalam pencapaian tujuan pengabdian masyarakat. Pengabdian masyarakat ini mengombinasikan dua metode berbeda, yaitu: 1) konsultasi berupa diskusi interaktif dengan kelompok pengrajin sulam, dan 2) pendampingan dalam pembuatan video profil dan video tutorial yang menonjolkan kearifan lokal. Video profil dan video tutorial didesain dengan mononjolkan kearifan lokal Desa Sumbersekar, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang. Video tutorial juga didesain sebagai sumber pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan afektif, kognitif dan psikomotorik penggunanya. Dengan demikian, kerajinan sulam menjadi sumber pembelajaran non formal, selain menjadi produk komersial. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan minat masyarakat terhadap kerajinan sulam tinggi, dibuktikan satu bulan sejak video diupload di sosial media, jumlah penonton mencapai puluhan dan video mendapat respon yang positif. Kesimpulannya, video profil dan video tutorial merupakan strategi pemasaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap kerajinan sulam Desa Sumbersekar, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang sebagai objek wisata edukasi berbasis kearifan lokal. Namun, untuk mewujudkan desa wisata edukasi sulam masih dibutuhkan langkah-langkah lanjutan melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bersifat multidisiplin dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Purpose The study aims to review access to payment system services, awareness and knowledge in the Sempaja Shopping Tourism Area so that it can evaluate appropriate policies to transform the economy cash-based to a non-cash economy Design/methodology/approach The research method used in this research is quantitative research with the nature of research is explanatory research. Data collection techniques are questionnaires and interviews. Findings Financial literacy, financial technology, cashless policy, and financial have strong and positive effects to the objectives of the study. Research limitations/implications         This research has limitations in the sampling were not all of these MSMEs have switched to digital so for further research it would be better to use a sample of MSMEs that have switched to digital use. Originality/value This study seeks to evaluate the implementation of bankaltimtara policies with a view to assessing the prospects and challenges that are factors in encouraging financial inclusion.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate factors that contribute to strengthening the business performance of youth entrepreneurs. Based on the Resource-Based Theory (RBV), this study examines the social capital, financial literacy, and emotional intelligence of small and medium-sized business (SME) youth owners' effect on business performance. The link between the variables is evaluated using the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings demonstrated that youth entrepreneurs' social capital and financial literacy positively and significantly affect emotional intelligence. At the same time, SME performance was directly influenced by the youth owner's emotional intelligence. Based on the research, SME youth owners are urged to strengthen their emotional intelligence to make prudent business choices that would significantly enhance their firm's success. Also, maintaining the relationship and upgrading their financial literacy could indirectly enhance business performance. Managers in SMEs must understand the link between social capital, financial literacy, and emotional intelligence to improve performance. Cultivating strong business networks and relationships, ensuring sound financial practices, and fostering emotionally intelligent leadership can drive stronger business performance and maintain a competitive advantage.

Abstract

Businesses focused on sustainable growth would consider intangible assets with unique characteristics that are difficult to imitate in order to provide their business a competitive edge to be the most valuable productive assets. The purpose of this study is to examine the role that the company's intangible assets—specifically, its social and intellectual capital—have in improving overall performance. Manufacturing companies listed on the IDX between 2016 and 2020 make up the study's population. In order to address current hypotheses, the analytical procedure consists of testing the measurement model and structural model. The study's findings demonstrate that intellectual capital directly improves a company's success. But it hasn't been demonstrated that other intangible assets, including social capital, have a direct effect on the firm performance. The results of this model are expected to contribute in improving corporate governance and increasing stakeholder trust in company performance.

Abstract

This study analyzes previous research to understand the influence of corporate governance and competitive advantage on firm value. The research employs a literature review method, gathering and analyzing data from existing written sources such as scientific journals, e-books, theses, books, and magazines to comprehensively understand the discussed topic. This study integrates various theories, including agency theory, resource-based view theory (RBV), and market orientation theory, to explain the relationships between variables. As a literature review article, this study contributes to deepening the understanding of the impact of corporate governance, competitive advantage, and firm value. The practical implications of this literature review emphasize the need to strengthen effective corporate governance practices and develop competitive advantage as strategies to enhance firm value. Furthermore, this article has implications for management, investors, regulators, and future research, given the scarcity of prior studies that utilize this theoretical framework to examine similar research models.

Abstract

Companies are required to always have a strategy that can increase profitability and strengthen their competitive advantage. One of the factors that can affect a company's profitability is competitive advantage (CA) and Internationalization. In order to have CA and internationalization, the company can manage and utilize its various capabilities through research and development (R&D) and marketing methods owned by the company. This relationship is explained in the RBT and internalization theory. This study aims to analyze and explain the influence of CA and internationalization on profitability with R&D Intensity and marketing intensity as antecedents. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with several criteria so that a sample of 15 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period was obtained. The results of this study indicate that R&D Intensity and Marketing Intensity have a significant effect on CA, R&D intensity has no significant effect on Internationalization, Marketing Intensity and CA have a significant effect on internationalization, CA has a significant effect on Profitability, Internationalization has no significant effect on Profitability, CA can mediate the effect of R&D intensity and marketing intensity on profitability, and internationalization is not able to mediate the effect of R&D intensity and marketing intensity on profitability. Abstract

Sambirejo Village in Rejoso District, Pasuruan Regency, experiences major challenges in household waste management due to population growth and increased economic activities. This program addressed these challenges by improving environmental quality and community welfare. The main objective was to empower residents through capacity-building sessions on waste sorting, composting, and using Lumbricus Rubellus worms and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggots for organic waste reduction. Program implementation began with a survey identifying community needs, followed by workshops and hands-on training emphasising participatory methods. These sessions introduced the principles of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), home-scale composting, and the formation of community-based waste management groups. Results indicated a notable increase in public awareness regarding proper waste disposal, a decline in illegal dumping sites, and broader adoption of organic waste processing technologies. Although the community’s improved understanding of waste segregation and composting reflected a positive shift in behaviour, limited facilities and varying levels of commitment continued to pose challenges. Overall, this initiative highlights the effectiveness of a collaborative and community-driven approach in addressing waste management issues. Sustained government support, academic engagement, and strong community participation are vital to ensure the long-term impact of these efforts and provide a practical model for other villages facing similar environmental problems.
