Abstract

According to the research, it was known that students thought that physics was a very difficult subject because of it used many formulas and concept development. This research used a method which was adapted by procedural development according to Borg Gall that had been modified by Research Central of Education Policy and Innovation, Research and Developing Agency, National Education Department which is synthesized with assessment instrumental standardization procedure of scientific behavior. The result of expert test showed that the developed instrument of assessment isomorphic appropriated with the theory and suitable to be used for instrument judgement. The next testing step done toward 36 students of class X2 of SMAN 1 Way Tenong. According to the data achieved by this test, 86,11% students passed the minimal passing grade criterion.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa siswa menganggap fisika merupakan pelajaran yang sangat sulit karena terlalu banyak menggunakan rumus-rumus dan pengembangan konsep. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang diadaptasi dari prosedur pengembangan menurut Borg Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Tim Pusat Penelitian Kebijakan dan Inovasi Pendidikan Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Departemen Pendidikan Nasional yang disintesiskan dengan prosedur pembakuan instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan instrumen assessment isomorphic yang dikembangkan telah sesuai dengan teori dan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian. Tahap pengujian selanjutnya dilakukan terhadap 36 siswa kelas X2 SMA Negeri 1 Way Tenong. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh melalui uji ini, sebesar 86,11 % siswa tuntas KKM.Kata kunci: pengembangan, instrumen assessment isomorphic, multirepresentasi.

Abstract

Based on observations in SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar, the low learning outcomes was caused by a physics teacher who rarely gives a chance to the students to examine the phenomena at the learning proccess independently. Students were less able to access the capabilities of inquiry that tend to be less active and bored because of the monotony of the learning. This researchs aimed to determine: (1) the effect of inquiry ability on physics learning results assisted by virtual laboratory, (2) a significant increase in physics learning results assisted by virtual laboratory. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar. Data from the research were collected by physics achievement test, and inquiry ability test. The results showed that the inquiry ability has effect on pysics learning results by virtual laboratory in and there was a siginificant increase in physics learning results.Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar, penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar fisika adalah guru yang jarang memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mandiri dalam menelaah fenomena-fenomena pada saat pembelajaran. Siswa kurang mampu dalam mengakses kemampuan inkuiri sehingga cenderung kurang aktif dan bosan karena pembelajaran yang monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (1) pengaruh kemampuan inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar fisika berbantuan Virtual Laboratory, (2) peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar fisika berbantuan Virtual Laboratory. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Terbanggi Besar. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar fisika, dan tes kemampuan inkuiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika dengan bantuan virtual laboratory dan terdapat peningkatan yang siginifikan pada hasil belajar fisika.Kata kunci: hasil belajar fisika, kemampuan inkuiri, virtual laboratory

Abstract

This research has a purpose to (1) identify the influence of hands on activity representation skill towards the Vibration and Wave concept mastery among junior high school students and (2) the improvement of Vibration and Wave concept mastery among junior high school students by using hands on activity representation skill. Based on the research, data gathered in hands on activity representation skill and concept mastery and after that they have been analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 Program. The analysis results showed that the data distributed normally and linearly. The research hypotheses testing used correlation method, simple regression linear and paired t-test sample. The results of the research showed that :(1) there was a positively and linearly significant influence towards concept mastery amounted to 45,70% which was a determination coefficient value. It was gained from correlation coefficient value amounted to 0,676 in strong category and regressive equation where coefficient values a and B were significant coefficients. (2)There is an significantly average improvement in junior high school students’ concept mastery caused by the influence of hands on activity representation skill amounted to 36,37 with N-gain average concept mastery amounted to 0,64 in moderate category.Keywords : hands on activity representation skill and mastery of concept

Abstract

A module is a media that can be used without other supporting media. Based on the need analysis, the media used as learning source in State SMAN 1 in Banjit was only students’ working sheets (LKS). The objective of this research was to produce a physic learning module based on multi representation for kinematics learning material for Grade X students in SMAN 1 in Banjit. The development method was adapted from research procedures and developments according to Suyanto and Sartinem (2009) that contain of seven stages of development. The testing results of users’ response were 3.30 for appealing aspect with excellent category, 3.24 for easiness aspect with good category, and 3.54 for usefulness aspect with excellent category. The effectiveness test result was 77.1% with least accomplishments criteria (or KKM) of 70. These indicate that the module is proper and effective to use as a learning media.Modul merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan tanpa media penunjang lain. Berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan, media yang digunakan sebagai sumber belajar di SMAN 1 Banjit hanya LKS. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis multirepresentasi pada materi kinematika untuk siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Banjit. Metode pengembangan diadaptasi dari langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Suyanto dan Sartinem (2009) yang meliputi tujuh tahapan pengembangan. Hasil uji coba terhadap respon pengguna untuk aspek kemenarikan memperoleh skor 3,30 dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek kemudahan memperoleh skor 3,24 dengan kategori baik, untuk aspek kebermanfaatan memperoleh skor 3,54 dengan kategori sangat baik. Sementara itu, hasil uji efektivitas mencapai 77,1% siswa tuntas KKM 70. Dengan demikian, modul layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: modul, multirepresentasi, pengembangan.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) identify students's misconceptions before and after remediation, (2) determine how large a decrease in the percentage of students after being remediated in physics misconceptions and (3) determine how much the remediation of misconceptions influenced high school students class X. The design of this study was one shoot case study group. The test used were the initial diagnostic tests and a final diagnostic test. The results showed that (1) students had misconceptions on the concept of uniform rectilinear motion, uniformly accelerated motion, free fall motion , and upward vertical motion (2) the percentage of students who had misconceptions reduced by 44.3% (3) based on McNemar test results known significance is 0.000. Based on these results it can be concluded that the provision of remediation significant effect on high school students's misconceptions physics of class X.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa sebelum dan setelah remediasi, (2) mengetahui seberapa besar penurunan persentase miskonsepsi fisika siswa setelah diremediasi dan (3) mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh remediasi terhadap miskonsepsi fisika siswa SMA kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kelompok one shoot case study. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes diagnostik awal dan tes diagnostik akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) siswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep gerak lurus beraturan, gerak lurus berubah beraturan, gerak jatuh bebas, dan gerak vertikal ke atas (2) persentase siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi berkurang sebesar 44,3% (3) berdasarkan hasil uji McNemar diketahui signifikansinya 0.000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian remediasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap miskonsepsi fisika siswa SMA kelas X.Kata kunci: gerak lurus, miskonsepsi, remediasi.

Abstract

The aims of this development research were to make an Interactive module based ICT on refraction of light with inqury strategy, to describe the attractiveness, the easiness, and the expediency, and also the effectiveness of product. The model used research and development model which included analysis of need, learning objectives, materials, treatment, first manuscript, prototype production, evaluation, revision, final manuscript, product test, and final product. The result of module product test in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo showed the attractivenesss value which got score 3.10 (attractive), easinesss 3.07 (easy), and expediencys 3.07 (useful), and 82.76 % of students have completed KKM is 70.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah membuat modul interaktif berbasis Teknologi, Informasi, dan Komunikasi pada materi Pembiasan Cahaya dengan strategi inkuiri, mengungkap kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan, serta keefektifan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, tujuan pengembangan, pokok materi, treatment, naskah awal, produksi prototipe, evaluasi, revisi, naskah akhir, uji coba produk, dan produk final. Hasil uji produk modul di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gadingrejo menunjukkan nilai kemenarikan dengan skor 3,10 (menarik), kemudahan dengan skor 3,07 (mudah), dan kemanfaatan dengan skor 3,07 (bermanfaat), dan 82,76% siswa telah tuntas KKM yaitu 70. Abstract

This research aimed to know (1) the influenceof using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry towards the interest, and (2) the influenceof using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry towards the study result on temperature and heat material. This research was carried out using experimental research method with One Group Pre test-Post test Design. The result showed that there was a difference of the students interest and the students cognitive study result before and after being taught by using physics learning modul based on guided inquiry. The increasing of interest in learning is shown by the value of N-gain0.71 (high category) and the study result is shown by the value of N-gain 0.74 (high category).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap minat, dan (2) pengaruh penggunaan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar pada materi suhu dan kalor. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre test- Post test Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan minat siswa dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Peningkatan minat belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71 (kategori tinggi) dan peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,74 (kategori tinggi).Kata kunci: hasil belajar, inkuiri terbimbing, minat, modul

Abstract

Physics teachers have used the approach to the material process skills using practical. However, the physics student learning outcomes is still relatively low. This is due to the observed process skills are less complex. So the results of their study was still relatively low. This study aimed to determine (1) The effect of the ability to think on mastery of concepts students with the skills approach, (2) The effect of the ability to think on learning outcomes of students' learning process skills approach. This research was conducted in the classroom VII5 School 1 Pekalongan are 32 students in the semester of the school year 2012/2013 with the material sub Heat. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The design of this study is the One-Shot Case Study. Based on this study, the data obtained thinking skills, mastery of concepts and learning result are then analyzed using linear regression with SPSS 17.0. The analysis showed that the three data were normally distributed and linear. Furthermore, to examine the effect done by correlation test and simple linear regression with SPSS 17.0. The results of this study show that: (1) There is the influence of the ability to think on mastery of concepts students with the skills approach. and (2) There is the influence of the ability to think on learning outcomes process skills approach.Keywords: thinking skills, process skills approach, mastery concepts, learning result.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the average difference of students’ learning result of EXCLUSIVE model between based on inquiry and verification. The population was 150 Grade VII students of SMPN 3 in Tegineneng in odd semester of academic year 2013/2014. There are 60 samples taken from classroom VIIA and VIIB using purposive sampling. This was research with One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Hypothesis was tested using Independent Sample T-Test. Independent sample t-test result showed that the average value of students’ learning result in classroom using EXCLUSIVE learning model based on inquiry and verification were 86.5 and 8.15 respectively. Value of tcount ttable (3,415 2,042). It suggested that H0 was rejected and the conclusion that there was an average difference of students’ learning result using EXCLUSIVE learning model between inquiry based and verification based.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar menggunakan model EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri dan verifikasi. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Tegineneng semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 sebanyak 150 siswa, sampel yang diambil kelas VIIA dan VIIB sebanyak 60 siswa. Pemilihan kelas sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T Test. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent Sample T Test didapatkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas EXCLUSIVE berbasis inkuiri adalah 86,5 lebih tinggi dari kelas verifikasi yaitu 81,5. Nilai thitung ttabel (3,415 2,042) maka H0 ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE antara metode inkuiri dengan verifikasi.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE, inkuiri, verifikasi, hasil belajar

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an interactive quiz that attractive, easy, useful and effective to train the observation ability on the kinematics and dynamics. The development included need analysis, design of product, expert validation, first revision, test-drive limited, second revision, field test, third revision and final product. The field test was tried out to the students grade X MIPA 6 SMAN 1 Metro. The result of the field test showed that the attractiveness score of interactive quiz was 3.64 (very attractive), easiness score was 3.48 (very easy) and usefulness score was 3.67 (very useful). Based on KKM that applied in the class, there was 86.00 % of the students have completed the test with the average score was 82.76. Based on these results, it can be concluded that interactive quiz was very attractive, very easy, very useful and effective as media to train observation ability of the students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kuis interaktif yang menarik, mudah digunakan, bermanfaat dan efektif untuk melatih kemampuan pengamatan pada materi kinematika dan dinamika. Pengembangan tersebut meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, validasi ahli, revisi pertama, uji coba terbatas, revisi kedua, uji lapangan, revisi ketiga dan produk akhir. Uji lapangan dicobakan kepada siswa kelas X MIPA 6 SMAN 1 Metro. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa, skor kemenarikan dari kuis interaktif adalah 3,64 (sangat menarik), skor kemudahan 3,48 (sangat mudah) dan skor kemanfaatan 3,67 (sangat bermanfaat). Berdasarkan KKM yang digunakan di kelas, sebanyak 86,00 % siswa tuntas, dengan nilai rata-rata 82,76.
