Abstract

Based on the research conducted there are many teachers who use conventional learning so that students are difficult to accept, respond, and develop materials provided by the teacher. The purpose of this study to determine: 1) The average difference the students 'physics learning outcomes between using simulation and experimental (2) The average difference the students 'physics learning outcomes between using simulation and experimental. This research has been carried out in the school year 2012/2013 in SMPN 1 Kotagajah. The study population was all students in class IX during the second semester.The samples taken while the IXB class as a class that uses experimental methods and IXF class as a class that uses simulation methods. Sampling technique in this study using cluster random sampling technique. Design of Experiments in this study using the form One-Shot Case Study. The results of the research conducted is: (1) There is a difference average physics student learning outcomes between using simulations and experiments that are 80.5 in the experimental class dan 70 in the simulation class (2 ) There is a difference average the students' mastery of physics concepts between using simulations and experiments that are 72.38 in the experimental class and 68.10 in the simulation class. So we can conclude the results of study and mastery of the concepts of physics experiments grade higher than the simulation.Kata kunci: eksperimen, hasil belajar, penguasaan konsep, simulasi

Abstract

Based on observations, teachers still emphasized only on the provision of subject matter, yet the manner in which equip the students with the Science Process Skills (SPS). This was thought to be the cause of low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the effect of SPS on student learning outcomes in Inquiry Training Model (ITM) learning.This study was a quasi-experimental study. Data collection was conducted by using tests and non-test (observation) which used a booklet achievement test (post-test) and SPS observation sheet. The analysis used is the Simple Linear Regression Test.The results showed that t count (6.375) is greater than ttable (2.042). That means there is an effect of SPS on studentslearning outcomes in ITM learning. Based on the calculation, R Square is 57.5%, that is categorized very significant.Berdasarkan observasi, guru masih menekankan pemberian materi pelajaran saja, belum memperhatikan cara membekali siswa dengan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS). Hal ini diduga menjadi penyebab hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh KPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Model Latihan Inkuiri (MLI). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan non tes (observasi), yakni menggunakan lembar soal tes hasil belajar (post-test) dan lembar observasi KPS. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa t hitung (6,375) lebih besar dari t tabel (2,042). Itu artinya ada pengaruh KPS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Pembelajaran MLI. Berdasarkan perhitungan, R Square diperoleh 57.5%, pengaruhnya sangat signifikan.Kata kunci:hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains,model latihan inkuiri

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine: (1) the linear positively and significantly influence of learning motivation toward understanding concept by using Learning Cycle 5E (LC 5E); (2) the linear positively and significantly influence of skill process science toward understanding concept by using LC 5E; (3) the linear positively and significantly influence of study motivation and skill process science toward understanding concept by using LC 5E. The population is all of students in class X SMAN 1 Natar. The sample are students of class X2 amount 36 students. The sample class is selected by cluster random sampling. Design of this research is one-shot case study. The results are: (1) there are a linear positively and significantly influence of learning motivation toward understanding concept by using LC 5E and it contributed 35,1%; (2) there are linear positively and significantly influence of skill process science toward understanding concept by using LC 5E and it contributed 53,5%; (3) there are linear positively and significantly influence of study motivation and skill process science toward understanding concept linear positively and significantly by using LC 5E and it contributed 58,8%. Abstract

Physics is impressed as the one of difficult subject by the students. This wrong Impression makes the students do not like physics and makes them get low scores in result of learning. Research aimed, to see the effects of scaffolding in Multirepresentative problem solving on Physics Toward The Students’ Result of Learning Physics in Senior High School. The sample of this research is all of the students in first grade of IPA1 at Senior High School Number 1 Adiluwih Kab. Pringsewu in odd semester which consists of 24 students in year 2013/2014. The percentage of the mean in students’ scaffolding is 64,11% with high category. Meanwhile, the mean of the students’scores is 66,56 with high category. So, big influence of scaffolding in multirepresentative problem solving on physics is 29,1%, high scaffolding can influence high results of learning physics too.Fisika merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang dianggap siswa sebagai pelajaran yang cukup sulit. Anggapan inilah yang membuat siswa kurang menyukai fisika sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian, untuk mengetahui pengaruh scaffolding dalam pemecahan masalah fisika berbasis multirepresentasi terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa SMA. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Adiluwih Kab. Pringsewu pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 24 orang. Persentase rata-rata scaffolding siswa adalah sebesar 64,11% dengan kategori tinggi. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai belajar siswa adalah sebesar 66,56 dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, besar pengaruh scaffolding dalam pemecahan masalah fisika berbasis multirepresentasi sebesar 29,1%, scaffolding yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa yang tinggi pula.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, multirepresentasi, pemecahan masalah, scaffolding.

Abstract

This research that aims to know the influence of: Analogy representation toward students’ rational thinking ability, and students’ mastery of Physics concept. The research used one class as sample i.e. class X2 that consisted of 27 students. One-shot case study was used as research design. Data obtained from this research were data of analogy representation, rational thinking ability and mastery of the concept that was normal and linear distribution. Simple linear regression test was conducted to examine the influence of analogy representation toward rational thinking ability and mastery of the concept. The result of this research indicated that: There was linear influence that were positive and significant at analogy representation toward rational thinking ability with contribution as much 46%, and There was linear influence that were positive and significant at analogy representation toward students’ mastery of physics concept with contribution as much 63 %.Penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional siswa dan penguasaan konsep fisika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel satu kelas yaitu kelas X2 dengan jumlah 27 siswa dan menggunakan desain penelitian one-shot case study. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data representasi analogi, kemampuan berpikir rasional dan penguasaan konsep yang berdistribusi normal dan linier. Untuk menguji pengaruh representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional dan penguasaan konsep fisika dilakukan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara representasi analogi terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional dengan kontribusi sebesar 46%, dan Terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara representasi analogi terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika siswa dengan kontribusi sebesar 63%.Kata kunci: representasi analogi, kemampuan berpikir rasional, penguasaan konsep fisika

Abstract

The use of conventional methods was causing student lackof interest in the physics subjects, so it was needed an innovations in the use of learning methods. This study aims to determine the differences in average outcomes study between Role play methods using MR Gesture approach with demonstration method. This research has been carried out in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013 at SMPN1 Bandarsribhawono. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The study design was a One-Shot Case Study. Learning outcomes data obtained from the average achievement test were analyzed using independent sample t test. The results of the data analysis was known that the average value of Role play methods using MR Gesture approach class at 69, while the demonstration method class at 65, so it was concluded that there were differences student outcomes study between methods Role Playing approach MR gesture with demonstration methodPenggunaan metode pembelajaran yang masih konvensional menyebabkan kekurang tertarikan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika,sehingga diperlukan inovasi dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture dengan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013 di SMPN 1 Bandarsribhawono. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah One-Shot Case Study. Data hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kemudian dianalisis meng-gunakan independent sample t test. Hasil analisis data menunjukan nilai rata-rata kelas metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture sebesar 69, sedangkan kelas metode demonstrasi sebesar 65, Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar fisika siswa antara metode bermain peran menggunakan MR Gesture dengan metode demonstrasiKata kunci: bermain peran, multiple representations gesture, demonstrasi dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The research aimed to produce of student worksheet based on guided inquiry for temperature material and its amendment which is attractive, easiness, usefulness, and effectiveness. The development of procedures consist of the potential and problems, data collection, product design, validity design, revision design, product test, revision product, utility test, revision product, and production. The result of the research was student worksheet based on guided inquiry for temperature material and its amendment which has a; very good attractiveness with the score 3.33, a very good easiness with the score 3.31, and a very good usefulness of product with the score 3.36. Student worksheet has been proper used because 84,61% has of the value that has been set at 70.Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi suhu dan perubahannya yang menarik, mudah, dan bermanfaat, dan efektif. Prosedur pengembangan tersebut meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi suhu dan perubahannya yang memiliki tingkat kemenarikan sangat baik dengan skor 3,33, tingkat kemudahan sangat baik dengan skor 3,31, dan tingkat kemanfaatan sangat baik dengan skor 3,36. LKS dinyatakan efektif untuk digunakan karena 84,61% siswa telah tuntas dari nilai yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu 70.Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, LKS, pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce multimedia learning for Newton's law of gravity with scientific approach developed in accordance with the criteria of scientific approach in an attractive and effective manner as a learning resource. This research was conducted in SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. This study uses research and development method. Test subjects of this research consist of content experts/ learning materials, design experts, one for one test and small group test. The conclusion of this research is a product in a form of Development of multimedia learning for Newton's laws of gravity with scientific approach that is in accordance with the criteria of scientific approach that are attractive and effective as a learning resource. Multimedia is claimed to be effective used as a learning medium based on the acquisition of learning outcomes of the students in which 78.94 % of the students completed the minimal passing grade criterion.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran Hukum Newton tentang gravitasi dengan pendekatan saintifik yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan criteria pendekatan saintifik secara menarik dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development atau penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji coba produk penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri atas uji ahli isi/materi, uji ahli desain pembelajaran, uji satu lawan satu (one for one) dan uji kelompok kecil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dihasilkan produk multimedia pembelajaran Hukum Newton tentang gravitasi dengan pendekatan saintifik sesuai dengan kriteria pendekatan saintifik yang menarik dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Multimedia dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai persentase 78,94 % siswa tuntas KKM.Kata kunci: gravitasi, multimedia pembelajaran, pendekatan saintifik, pengembangan.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be improved applying a learning model ARIAS and Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This study aims to: (1) know the difference between average yield learnng physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) determine average physics student learning outcomes are higher among ARIAS learning model with Scientific inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This research has been carried out in second semester of school year 2012/2013 in SMAN 13 Bandarlampung and the sample class XI IPA2 and XI IPA1 totaling 80 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The design is One-Shot Case Study. Learning outcomes data obtained from average achievement test. Data were analyzed using independent sample t test. The results of analysis of data with an average value of learning outcomes in the classroom ARIAS at 64.39 while Pictorial Technique of Scientific Inquiry class Riddle of 74.91. Thus be concluded: (1) There is difference between average yield learning physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) Average yield learning physics students taught using learning model ARIAS lower than average learning outcomes of students who were taught physics model Pictorial Riddle Engineering Scientific Inquiry.Key words: ARIAS, Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research of development are developing worksheets based guided inquiry on material Temperature and Heat, describing the attractiveness, the easiness, and the expediency, and also the effectiveness of product. The model used research and development model included analysis of need, learning objectives, materials, instrument of success, first manuscript, prototype production, evaluation, final manuscript, revision, product test, and final product. The result of product LKS in SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung showd attractivenesss value which got score 3.52 (attractive), easinesss 3.49 (very easy), and expediencys 3.48 (useful), and 82.14% of students have completed KKM is 76. Based on these result of development research, it can be cocluded that this LKS was attractive, very easy, useful and effective as a learning media.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan adalah mengembangkan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi Suhu dan Kalor dengan menggunakan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing, mendeskripsikan kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan, serta keefektifan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, tujuan pembelajaran, butir-butir materi, alat ukur keberhasilan, naskah awal, produksi prototipe, evaluasi, naskah akhir, revisi, uji coba produk, dan produk final. Hasil uji produk LKS di SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung menunjukkan nilai kemenarikan dengan skor 3,52 (menarik), kemudahan dengan skor 3,49 (sangat mudah), dan kemanfaatan dengan skor 3,48 (bermanfaat), dan 82,14% siswa telah tuntas KKM yaitu 76. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan LKS yang dikembangkan menarik, sangat mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai suatu media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, lembar kerja siswa, pengembangan, suhu dan kalor
