Abstract

Based on the results of interview done by researchers against the junior high school in Bandar Lampung, is known that many students do not have learning resources such as books for use outside of school hours. It is known that the stu-dent's reason do not have a source of learning is the limited cost and the difficulty in getting it. Taking into account these problems, the researcher developed an electronic books as a learning resource. Electronic books are developed based on multiple representations to matter physics junior high school class VIII. The pur-pose of this development is to make the students more interested in learning and can develop students' understanding of physics concepts. Development's model used in this study was adapted from the model of media development and learn-ing according Suyanto and Sartinem (2009). Development's model includes five procedures product development and product testing, namely: preliminary re-search, creation of script/ design materials, product development, product testing (internal testing and external testing), and the dissemination and implementa-tion. Internal test results indicate that the learning resource has been developed in accordance with the content standards and fit for use as a learning resource for students. External test results showed that the quality of learning resource are very attractive, reaching 96% for attractive level of product and effective used as a learning resource, reaching 82% of students are complete the KKM. So, we can conclude that generated the learning resource such as electronic books based multiple representations that have been tested and fit for use with very attractive qualities and declared effective as a learning resource.Key words : development, electronic books and multiple representations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce an interactive multimedia used macromedia flash for SMP/MTs for light topic based on scientific approach and describe the attractiveness and the effectiveness of the product. The research used research and development approach consist of analysis of need (problem), learning objectives, materials, synopsis, first manuscript, prototype production, evaluation, revision, final manuscript, product test, and final product. The product of interactive multimedia showed that the attractivenesss value with score 3,39 (very attractive), easinesss value with score 3,37 (very easy), expediencys value with score 3,16 (useful), and effective because more than 75% of students reach the standard of achievement score. Based on the result of research and development , it can be concluded that the interactive multimedia is attractive and effective to be used as a learning media through scientific approach. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan multimedia interaktif menggunakan macromedia flash untuk SMP/MTs pada materi cahaya yang sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dan mengungkapkan kemenarikan dan keefektifan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian pengembangan meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan (masalah), tujuan, pokok materi, sinopsis, naskah awal, produksi prototipe, evaluasi, revisi, naskah akhir, uji coba, dan produk final. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat menarik dengan perolehan skor 3,39, sangat mudah digunakan dengan perolehan skor 3,37, bermanfaat dengan perolehan skor 3,16, dan efektif karena hasil belajar siswa lebih dari 75% siswa telah tuntas KKM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan menarik dan efektif sebagai suatu sumber belajar dengan pendekatan saintifik.Kata kunci: cahaya, multimedia interaktif, pendekatan saintifik, pengembangan

Abstract

This study aim were to determine (1) the characteristics of learning physics-based comic graphic design (2) the attractiveness, usefulness, and the ease of learning physics-based on comic graphic design (3) The effectiveness of learning physics-based on comic graphic design. The development procedures included the analysis of the needs, objectives, subject matter, synopsis, early script, prototype production, evaluation, revision, the final draft, the trial, and the final comic. Results from this study were (1) it is produced the characteristic of comic-based graphic design and contains the Quantities and Units material for junior high school class VII, and it is presented by a picture in full color book format (2) it has the attractiveness score of 3.55 (very interesting),the ease scores of 3.48 (very easy),the expediency score of 3.57 (very useful).(3) Comic of physics learning is effective to be used by students has completed 80.65% of the set value, which is 72.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; (1) Karakteristik komik pembelajaran fisika berbasis desain grafis; (2) Kemenarikan, kemanfaatan, dan kemudahan komik pembelajaran fisika berbasis desain grafis; (3) Keefektifan komik pembelajaran fisika berbasis desain grafis. Prosedur pengembangan tersebut meliputi analisis kebutuhan, tujuan, pokok materi, sinopsis, naskah awal, produksi prototipe, evaluasi, revisi, naskah akhir, uji coba, komik final. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu; (1) menghasilkan komik yang memiliki karakteristik berbasis desain grafis, dan berisi materi Besaran dan Satuan SMP kelas VII SMP, dan disajikan dengan gambar dalam bentuk buku full color; (2) Komik yang dikembangkan memiliki skor kemenarikan 3,55 (sangat menarik), skor kemudahan 3,48 (sangat mudah), skor kemanfaatan 3,57 (sangat bermanfaat); (3) Komik pembelajaran fisika dikatakan efektif untuk digunakan karena 80,65% siswa telah tuntas dari KKM, yaitu 72.Kata kunci: Berbasis Desain Grafis, Pengembangan, Komik

Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be improved applying a learning model ARIAS and Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This study aims to: (1) know the difference between average yield learnng physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) determine average physics student learning outcomes are higher among ARIAS learning model with Scientific inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle. This research has been carried out in second semester of school year 2012/2013 in SMAN 13 Bandarlampung and the sample class XI IPA2 and XI IPA1 totaling 80 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The design is One-Shot Case Study. Learning outcomes data obtained from average achievement test. Data were analyzed using independent sample t test. The results of analysis of data with an average value of learning outcomes in the classroom ARIAS at 64.39 while Pictorial Technique of Scientific Inquiry class Riddle of 74.91. Thus be concluded: (1) There is difference between average yield learning physics students taught using inquiry learning model ARIAS with Scientific Techniques Pictorial Riddle, (2) Average yield learning physics students taught using learning model ARIAS lower than average learning outcomes of students who were taught physics model Pictorial Riddle Engineering Scientific Inquiry.Key words: ARIAS, Scientific Inquiry Pictorial Techniques Riddle, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Result of observation showed that there are still many students who received grades below the minimum completeness criteria. One aspect that is thought to affect it less optimal assessment activities assigned by the teacher during the learning process especially on aspects of cognitive assessment. This research aimed to know the effect of ongoing assessment using IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique) technique on learning results through team-based learning models. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu, using a class that X4 class with the number of samples 33 students and using the design of One-Shot Case Study. This research uses data from the IF-AT results obtained through the average value of the IF-AT test results in ongoing assessment and student learning results data. Then carried out to examine the effect of linearity test, correlation and simple linear regression between the data the IF-AT results and student learning results. The results of research showed that there are significant positive linear and significant correlation between ongoing assessment IF-AT technique on students learning results.Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Salah satu aspek yang diduga mempengaruhi hal tersebut adalah kurang optimalnya kegiatan penilaian yang diberikan oleh guru selama proses pembelajaran khususnya pada aspek penilaian ranah kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ongoing assessment teknik IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique) terhadap hasil belajar melalui model team based learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Banyumas Pringsewu, menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas X4 dengan jumlah sampel 33 siswa dan menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study. Pene-litian ini menggunakan data hasil IF-AT yang diperoleh melalui nilai rata-rata hasil tes IF-AT secara ongoing assessment dan data hasil belajar siswa. Kemudian untuk menguji pengaruh dilakukan uji linieritas, korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana antara data hasil IF-AT dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh linier yang positif dan signifikan antara ongoing assessment teknik IF-AT terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar siswa, model team based learning, ongoing assessment,teknik if-at

Abstract

The results of a comparative study was conducted by PISA 2009 showed that the mean score of science literacy test in Indonesian students is still relatively low. Some of the factors that cause are learning in school activities tend to be centered on teachers, so it makes the students get difficult to develop their science communication skills, besides students' ability to interpret the data from a representation to another representation is still low. One of efforts that can assist to improve the students’science literacy especially in newton law material is to develop students' science communication skills. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of science communication skills using Multiple Representation learning approach to science literacy of junior high school students. Sample class is selected by cluster random sampling. The research design that is used one-shot case study. The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect between science communication skills through Multiple Representations approach to science literacy of junior high school. Both variables have a strong correlation, that is 0.61 with a contribution is 37%.Keywords: science communication skills, Multiple Representations learning approach, and students’ science literacy.

Abstract

The aims of this research were producing Learning Modul by Using Learning Content Development System (LCDS) on impulse and momentum material, describing the attractiveness, the easiness, the expediency, and the effectiveness of product. This research method used research and development model adapted from product development procedure and product test according to Suyanto and Sartinem that were consisted of seven steps, includes need assesment, resourches identification, spesification identification, product development, internal test, external test, and production. The result of the external tests showed the attractivenesss value with the score is 3.23 (attractive), easiness is 3.31 (very easy), and expediency is 3.22 (useful). It was also effective to be used as a learning media because of the average value of the gain is 0.57 (medium classification).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul pembelajaran menggunakan LCDS pada materi pokok impuls dan momentum, mendeskripsikan kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan, serta keefektifan produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari prosedur pengembangan produk dan uji produk menurut Suyanto dan Sartinem yang terdiri dari 7 langkah, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal, uji eksternal, dan produksi. Hasil uji eksternal menunjukkan nilai kemenarikan dengan skor 3,23 (menarik), kemudahan dengan skor 3,31 (sangat mempermudah), dan kemanfaatan dengan skor 3,22 (bermanfaat). Selain itu, produk yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena rata-rata nilai gain berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest yaitu 0,57 (klasifikasi sedang).Kata kunci: modul pembelajaran, learning content development system (LCDS), impuls dan momentum

Abstract

Berdasarkan kompetensi dasar 4.3 silabus kurikulum 2013 revisi menuntut adanya kegiatan praktikum pada materi fluida statis SMA. Namun di MAN 1 Lampung Timur belum dilakuan praktikum untuk kompetensi dasar 4.3, salah satu alasannya karena belum adanya panduan praktikum pada percobaan fluida statis di MAN 1 Lampung Timur. Sehingga peneliti membuat panduan praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbingpada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, serta kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 1 Lampung Timur dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R & D). Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi dari model penelitian dan pengembangan Borg and Gall yaitu, pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, validasi produk, revisi produk, dan uji coba produk. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan teknik angket. Data hasil wawancara dan angket dianalisis kemudian digunakan untuk merencanakan produk. Produk yang telah dikembangkan dinilai tingkat validitas desain dan materi oleh dua orang dosen pendidikan fisika Universitas Lampung dan satu orang guru fisika MAN 1 Lampung Timur. Nilai Validitas desain mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,57 dengan kualitas sangat layak dan validitas materi mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,33 dengan kualitas layak. Setelah melalui uji validasi, produk direvisi sesuai saran dan perbaikan, kemudian produk diuji kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan kepada 4 orang siswa-siswi kelas XI MIA 2 MAN 1 Lampung Timur yang diambil secara acak. Hasil uji kemenarikan mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,29 dengan kualitas tinggi, uji kemudahan mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,28 dengan kualitas tinggi, dan uji kemanfaatan mendapat nilai rata-rata 3,29 dengan kualitas tinggi.
