Abstract

ABSTRACTWaste or by-product of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) which is rarely used is stomach.The contents of catfish stomatch is extracted with dry rendering method will produce crudefish oil. Fish oil obtained as a by-product of smoked fish processing often contains a lot ofimpurities, so a purification process is needed using bentonite adsorbents and activatedcharcoal. This study aims to determine the effect of using bentonite adsorbents andactivated charcoal with different concentrations on the characteristics of catfish entrails oil.The method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomizeddesign with 3 treatment levels namely bentonite 3%, activated charcoal 7%, and bentonite:activated charcoal (3%:7%). It was repeated 3 times, so that the number of experimentalunits was 9 units. The parameters analyzed were color, odor, and peroxide value. Theresults showed that bentonite and activated charcoal adsorbents had a very significanteffect on the characteristics of catfish entrails oil. The addition of 3% bentonite : 7%activated charcoal produced a better color and smell of fish oil compared to othertreatments. The peroxide value of crude fish oil is 5,18 meq/kg, the peroxide value can bereduced by adding different adsorbents, namely A1(3% bentonite), A2(7% activatedcharcoal), and A3(3% bentonite: 7% activated charcoal). obtained successive results of1.693 meq/kg, 1,62 meq/kg, and 0,776 meq/kg.Keywords:Clarias gariepinus, purification, bentonite, activated charcoal, fish oil1)Student at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Universitas Riau2)Lecturer atFaculty of Fisheries and Marine Science,UniversitasRiau

Abstract

ABSTRACTSea lettuce is a type of green algae which is included in the father seaweed, namely edible seaweed, which contains antioxidants, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-tumor properties. This study aims to determine the characteristics and water content in sea lettuce. The material and methods in this study were secondary data and literature studies, analyzed descriptively by describing the c haracteristics and water content of sea lettuce. The result shown that sea lettue had physical characteristics with thallus which resembles a thin sheet, the edges of thallus are wavy and smooth, have a bright green to dark green color. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik dan kimia konsentrat protein kerang darah dengan menggunakan bagian tubuh yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yaitu melakukan pembuatan konsentrat protein kerang darah dengan menggunakan bagian tubuh kerang darah berbeda. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah  rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), non faktorial dengan 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu  A1 (menggunakan daging kerang yang di buang isi perut dan mantel),  A2 (menggunakan daging kerang yang di buang isi perut), A3 (menggunakan daging kerang utuh). Berdasarkan hasil uji mutu organoleptik perlakuan terbaik adalah A1 (bagian daging yang di buang isi perut dan mantel)  dengan krakteristik warna kuning keemasan, aroma sedikit bau kerang darah, dan tekstur agak halus dan lembut. Sedangan hasil uji kimia  perlakuan terbaik pada A3 (daging kerang utuh), dengan kadar air (7,96%), protein (78,06%), lemak (0,27%), abu (5,11%).

Abstract

Communication is an important thing in a husband and wife relationship. Good communication will also increase the spiritual level of each family member. Therefore the author will examine how effective communication can build a husband and wife relationship that grows spiritually. The research method to answer the formulation of this problem uses a method with a qualitative approach. The results of the discussion show that married couples must understand the communication barriers and understand how to communicate effectively, to increase the spirituality of each partner.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of leverage, growth opportunity, firm size and capital intensity on the accounting conservatism simultaneously and partially. The population in this research is the bank company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Sample selection technique used is purposive sampling and obtained 28 companies with research period year 2016-2019. Data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using software SPSS version 22 for Windows. The results show that leverage, growth opportunity, firm size and capital intensity simultaneously affect the accounting conservatism and firm size have an effect on to accounting conservatism partially. While partially, leverage, growth opportunity, capital intensity have no effect on the accounting conservatism.
