Abstract

Kapal penangkapan ikan adalah kapal yang secara khusus digunakan untuk menangkap ikan termasuk menampung, mengangkut, menyimpan, mendinginkan atau mengawetkan. Perencanaan kapal penangkapan ikan yang baik dalam industri perikanan diharapkan dapat memadai dan dapat menghasilkan produk ikan yang siap jual kemasyarakat dan jika memungkinkan dapat mengekspor keluar negeri maka perlu untuk mendesain kapal yang moderen dalam pembuatan kapal. Pembuatan kapal secara tradisional biasanya tidak didasari pada perencanaan yang jelas sehingga dalam pembuatannya selalu ada perubahan karakteristik pada bentuk kapal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi disain serta menghitung besar nilai rasio ukuran utama kapal perikanan tipe Pole and line di PPN Ternate. Metode pengambilan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran langsung terhadap seluruh ukuran-ukuran utama kapal Pole and line, wawancara dengan nakhoda dan ABK kapal untuk pengambilan data motor penggerak dan pompa mengail serta hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan penelitian. Kapal ikan tipe pole and leni yang berpangkalan di PPN Ternate ada beberapa suda memenuhi standar nilai rasio kapal, L/D pada kapal KM. Inka Mina 287 dan KM. Mina Maritim 0.34 sudah memenuhi standar dengan rasio perbandingan masing-masing adalah 10 dan 10.76. dan ada yang belum memenuhi standar nilai rasio kapal KM. Firgo 3, KM.. Inka Mina 522 dan KM. Karpoto dengan nilai masing-masing, 8.231, 8.667 dan 7.931. Nilai koefisien block (Cb) dan koefisien gading tengah (Cm) masing-masing nilai 0.67- 070 dari kapal sampel di PPN Ternate sudah sesuai dengan standar nilai yang ideal dan digolongkan dalam kapal dengan bentuk lambung yang kurus atau fine type.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret tahun 2023 di lokasi budidaya ikan Nila Desa Tarkus Kecamatan Sahu Timur kabupaten Halmahera Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan untuk memperkecil kekeliruan, setiap perlakuan menggunakan 4 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 16 unit percobaan. Dari hasil penenelitian ini kemudian dianalisi Ragam yaitu: (1) Pertumbuhan mutlak ikan nila pada perlakuan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 15% memberikan sedikit pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap nilai rata-rata. Namun dari hasil uji statistic (ANOVA) tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak ikan nila, Pertumbuhan panjang mutlak ikan nila dari nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan dengan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 15% dan 10%. Namun dari hasil uji statistic (ANOVA) tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak ikan nila, Laju pertumbuhan lebih tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan dengan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 15% yaitu 0,49 gram perhari. (2) Efisiensi pakan pada setiap perlakuan dengan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15% berdasarkan hasil uji stastik (ANOVA) dinyatakan Tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata. (3) Rasio konversi pakan pada perlakuan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 0%, 5%,10%, dan 15% berdasarkan hasil uji satistik (ANOVA) tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata. (4) Kelangsungan hidup dari hasil uji stastik (ANOVA) pada perlakuan tambahan tepung tulang ikan 0%, 5%, 10%, dan 15% dinyatakan Tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata.

Abstract

Vaname shrimp (Litopeanus vannamei), known as white shrimp, is an introduced species from the waters of Central America and countries in Central and South America such as Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama, Brazil and Mexico that has not been cultured in Indonesia for a long time. In recent years, the main contributing commodity to the aquaculture sector in Indonesia is white shrimp. Vaname shrimp was officially released in 2001 and since then the role of vaname is very real to replace the tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) agro-industry which is the original Indonesian shrimp that has decreased and failed production due to technical and non-technical factors. This research was conducted in the vaname shrimp farming pond of Muhammadiyah University of North Maluku, located in Dowora Village, Tidore Islands City in April-June 2023. The amount of feed given must be in accordance with the needs of shrimp in the pond, so as not to experience a lack of feed or excess feed. Shrimp need a lot of protein in its growth, generally the protein needed by shrimp in a higher percentage compared to other animals. Protein is the nutrient that plays the most role in shrimp growth. Shrimp need for protein is different for each life stadia.

Abstract

The research was conducted over a period of one month in the waters of Tobelo with the aim of identifying fish species caught using purse seine fishing gear and determining the variation in species numbers and total catch during the research in the waters of Tobelo, North Halmahera Regency. This study is an experimental fishing study with data analysis in the form of identification and quantitative descriptive statistics to explain the composition of purse seine catch based on data using histograms and tables. The results of the study showed that the pelagic fish species caught were skipjack tuna (Euthynnus affinis), Spanish mackerel (Elagatis bipinnulata), yellowfin tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis), mackerel (Decapterus spp.), and mackerel (Rastrelliger spp.), where mackerel and mackerel were the dominant pelagic fish species in the catch during the study. This was due to various factors, including migratory patterns that tend to form schools and abundant food sources.

Abstract

Coastal ecosystems in Ternate have high biodiversity, including the macroalga Caulerpa racemosa, which contributes to ecosystem stabilization and mitigation of ocean acidification. However, environmental degradation due to human activities poses a serious threat, so analyzing the distribution and density of macroalgae is important for sustainable ecosystem management. This study aimed to analyze the distribution pattern and density of C. racemosa in Kastela and Gamalama waters, Ternate City. Data collection was conducted from May to August 2024 using the line transect method with 1x1 m quadrants in two research locations. Each site had three 50 m long transect lines with five quadrants per transect. Density was calculated based on the number of individuals per unit area, while distribution patterns were analyzed using the Morisita index (Id). Environmental data such as temperature, salinity and pH were also measured to understand the factors affecting macroalgae distribution. Spatial analysis using GIS software visualized distribution patterns. Results showed that C. racemosa had a concentrated distribution pattern (Id 1) in both study sites, with higher average densities in Kastela waters than Gamalama. Environmental factors, including temperature and substrate type, significantly influenced the distribution of this species. This study provides important data to support ecosystem-based management and sustainable coastal conservation, and fills an information gap on the impacts of ecological pressures on macroalgae in this region.Keywords:Caulerpa racemosaTernateDistributionCoastal Ecosystem
