Abstract

The idiosyncratic character of Donald Trump significantly influenced his attitudes and policy choices during the process of normalizing relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Prior to the agreement, relations between the two states were marked by political tension, as the UAE was part of the Arab League boycott of Israel. However, shared national interests and common threats encouraged the emergence of discreet diplomatic interactions. The Trump administration seized this opportunity by promoting normalization through the Abraham Accords as part of the United States’ broader Middle East foreign policy. Amid domestic pressure including public unrest related to the COVID-19 crisis and driven by Trump’s campaign promises to broker peace in the Middle East and strengthen Israel’s international standing, the Abraham Accords became a vehicle through which Trump sought to improve his political image and present himself as an architect of regional peace. The findings indicate that Trump’s behavior throughout the normalization process between Israel and the United Arab Emirates under the 2020 Abraham Accords reflects three key leadership traits. Ego-Ambition as he sought to restore his political image and secure a major Middle East agreement. Goal Oriented demonstrated by his selection of a team whose views aligned with his objectives, and Crusader Expansionist marked by his assertive and sometimes coercive approach in pushing Arab states to normalize relations with Israel. Abstract

Cyberbullying is one of the challenges in achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which is quality education that is safe and inclusive. Cyberbullying has a negative impact on students' psychological well-being and academic performance, especially at the elementary school level. This article aims to explain efforts to prevent cyberbullying through digital education activities conducted at SD IT An-Nur BPMAA, Sumahilang Village, Riau Province. The method used is a qualitative approach involving socialization, counseling, and interactive discussions with students. The activities focused on improving digital literacy, understanding internet ethics, and strengthening mutual respect in the online world. The results of the activities showed that more than 90% of students began to understand the dangers of cyberbullying and the steps that can be taken to prevent it, both as perpetrators and victims. These findings emphasize that digital education plays a strategic role in creating a healthier learning environment, thereby supporting the achievement of quality education in line with SDG target 4.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the strategy of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI) in supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 14 on life below water through the implementation of the Humpuss Blue Commitment. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using interviews and literature review. The findings show that HUMI’s strategy is implemented through proper ballast water management, the use of Oil Water Separator (OWS) technology, improved ship waste management, and environmental initiatives such as mangrove planting and employee awareness programs. The implementation of these strategies has strengthened environmental compliance within the company, as reflected in the absence of violations in 2024. However, the company still faces challenges in building sustainability awareness among employees, which continue to be addressed through policy reinforcement and ongoing innovation.
