Abstract

This study examines the text Geguritan Prasada Niti. The purpose of this study to describe the structure , function , and meaning contained in the text Geguritan Prasada Niti. The theory used in this research is the structural theory and the theory of functions according to Luxemburg and semiotic according to Pierce . The methods and techniques used are divided into three stages, namely (1) the stage of providing data use observation methods with transliteration techniques, technique of recording and translation techniques, (2) the stage of data analysis using qualitative methods with techniques descriptive analytic, (3) stages presentation of data analysis using formal and informal methods with inductive - deductive techniques. The results obtained in this study is a structure consisting of structures forma and content structure. Structure forma; (1) pupuh / padalingsa; smarandana puh, ginanti puh, dandang gendis puh, mijil puh, and pucung puh, (2) a variety of language; Bali Alus language, (3) language style; style stylistic comparisons and stylistic contradictions. Content structure ; (1) the first part ; begins with mantras, (2) part of an early transition to the contents ; an early introduction to enter the contents, (3) part of the contents; contains the teachings of leadership, (4) the content to the end of the transition section; an introductory statement that the work has been completed (5) the final part; a statement that the work of the authors has been completed. In addition there is a function that consists of ethical teaching function and the function of self-control and there is a meaning which consists of the meaning of well-being and the meaning of love.

Abstract

This study discussed two literary works of oral prose namely I Ubuh story and Bagus Diarsa story, which aims at understanding and investigating the existence of a text in another text or the intertextual relation in the story of I Ubuh and Bagus Diarsa. This study is conducted based on the structural theory from Teeuw and intertext theory from Kristeva, while the data collection is done by using free guided interview and supported by recording technique, taking notes, transcription and translation techniques. The methods used in analyzing the data are qualitative method and descriptive analytic method. In presenting the data analysis, the method used is informal method supported by deductive and inductive techniques. The findings of this study show that there are structures which form the story of I Ubuh and Bagus Diarsa namely incident; chronological plot in the stories; characters and characterizations such as main character, secondary figures, and complementary characters; the settings of both stories are setting of time, place and situation; the theme of the stories is Satya Samaya; and the moral. Besides, the findings show that there is intertextual relation between the story of I Ubuh and Bagus Diarsa, they have the similar motives namely chicken feathers that used to show directions and places in the stories. Meanwhile, the difference between these stories is I Santeng went southeast to reach the sea floor, and I Bagus Diarsa went north to reach the Banyan Tree.

Abstract

Research on Anggastya Geguritan is about the analysis of the structure and function. This analysis has the objective to describe the structure and functions contained in the Geguritan Anggastya. This study uses a structural theory and the theory of functions. Based on the structural theory and Teeuw Luxemburg Ratna theory, the theory of functions used Damono theory and Ratna. The methods and techniques used are divided into three stages, namely (1) the methods and techniques used method of providing data reading and recording techniques, which assisted with translation techniques; (2) the method and the data teknikanalisis used qualitative methods and techniques of descriptive analysis; and (3) the methods and data analysis used teknikhasil informal formal methods aided by deductive and inductive techniques. Disclosures of the text structure Anggastya Geguritan structure forms including; code language and literature, a style that include a comparison of style, style convergence and stylistic contradictions. Variety of language includes Bali Alus language, Bali Madya language and Bali Kasar language. Narrative structure include: the incident, there were seven incidents, using advanced groove and the groove is divided into five stage; stage situation, stage generating circumstances, stage rising action, stage climax and stage denoument, character and characterization are divided into three; the main character, a character secondary, and figures complementary, the background, in Geguritan Anggastya used backlight time, the background of the place, and background ambience, the theme contained in Geguritan Anggastya is karma phala, and the mandate. Functions contained in the Geguritan Anggastya is function as a medium of teaching religion, as a medium of moral education and intellect plant, and as a medium for social development

Abstract

Research dictionary Balinese-Indonesia classified for terminology upakara manusa yadnya in Badung Regency, to have special purpose to know the shape and quantity of terminology in upakara manusa yadnya in Badung Regency. It is used linguistic structural theory by Ferdinand de Saussure, lexicology theory, and lexicograpy theory. In act of preparing data, it is used interview and see method, with tap technique. Followed record technique and note technique. In analysis data is used (1) translasional method followed by based technique classify determine element with intermediate technique, related equivalent technique make the same with related equivalent technique compare the main thing. (2) apportion method with based technique for element direct with intermediate technique are expansion technique and infix technique. Method that used in presentation analysis result is formal method and informal with inductive and deductive technique. The result of this research is terminolgy in form of based word consist of based word in one word, two word, three word, four word. From the based word can make new word. Affixs consist of : preffixs {N-}, {-paN}, {m?-}; suffixs {-an}; konffixs {pa-/-an}, and also combination affixs, the word that replay consist of : whole reduplication, whole reduplication + affixs, partial reduplication, partial reduplication + affixs, and word complex. Terminology in form of phrase is: endosentrik phrase just one main word consist of: nominal phrase, numeralia phrase, and verbal phrase. This research collect 402 terminology.

Abstract

The study of Satua I Srabeni I Srabena discusses the analysis of literary structure and anthropology. This analysis aims to reveal the building structures and values ??of Balinese culture embodied in Satua I Srabena I Srabeni.This research uses structural theory, text theory, and theory of Literary Anthropology. Methods and techniques used in this study are divided into three stages, namely 1) methods and techniques of data provision using simak method assisted by transcription techniques, record techniques, and translation techniques, 2) methods and techniques of data analysis using qualitative methods and descriptive analytic techniques , 3) methods and techniques of presenting the results of data analysis using informal methods and deductive and inductive techniques. The result of this research is narrative strutur which includes eight incident, using straight groove and groove is divided into five stages, namely: situation stage, generating circumstances stage, rising action stage, climax stage, and denouement stage. Characters and characterizations are divided into three namely: the main character is I Srabena I Srabeni, secondary figures namely Father, and complementary figures (complementary) ie a couple husband, wife of Anak Agung, Anak Agung, wife Jin, Jin. Background is divided into three, namely: the background of the place that is on the road, jumah, gerobag, park, alase, diwangan, punyan bingin, ampike, and pasisi, background time is peteng, ibi sanja, and weak and background atmosphere angry atmosphere, , longing, anxiety, fear, and threatening atmosphere. The theme of women, about women in good behavior should be done by women and contained a mandate on how to respect women and behave well in life. The results of the literary anthropological research in this satua reveal the values ??of the culture contained, namely the value of vital, social values, ethical values, human values, sacred values, and the value of rwa Bhinneda contained in the four elements of culture in the story.

Abstract

Narrative structure include: (1) the incident, there were nine incidents, (2) the groove, the groove forward Geguritan Linggapeta used, (3) character and characterization are divided into tigayaitu; the main character, a character secondary, and figures complementary, (4) the background, in Geguritan Linggapeta used backlight time, the background of the place, and background ambience, (5) the theme contained in Geguritan Linggapeta is karma phala and loyalty, and (6) the mandate. Functions contained in the Geguritan Linggapeta namely: religious function, education function, and aesthetic functions.

Abstract

This study discusses about Ratna Tribanowati Novel with the analysis structure, image of the sorceress, and gender ideology. This study uses the structural theory and literary criticism of feminism. Methods and techniques in this study consisted of three steps: (1) stage of providing data used methods of reading and translation techniques, (2) stage of data analysis used descriptive analytic, (3) stage of presentation of data analysis using informal methods, aided by engineering deductive and inductive. The results obtained in this study are the narrative structure of the novel. Ratna Tribanowati major theme of the novel is love, while the minor theme of this novel is a love story between a man and a woman who finally fused. There are six primary characters important incident in Ratna Tribanowati novel. The character events (major) named Ratna Tribanowati portrayed through the psychological aspect, physical, and sociological. Plot in the Ratna Tribanowati novel follow the usual pattern of tradisional. Setting include the appropriate place and time running storylines. Mandate contained in the Ratna Tribanowati novel is do not be cheap, either not prejudiced, thinking before acting, and the truth will win. Novel image of the sorceress in Ratna Tribanowati is a strong image of religious values is evident. Strong beliefs about religion, Tri Kaya Parisudha appear on this novel. Gender ideology that character novel Ratna Tribanowati about the ideology of feminism is very apparent at the end of the story.

Abstract

The study is titled "The Text of Myth Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti in Gelar temple Pakraman Gelogor village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency; Analysis of Structure, Function, and Value”. This study aims to describe the structure of the content contained in the mythical text of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti and to analyze the function and value. The theory used in this research is structural theory, function theory, and value theory. Phase of data provision used method of recall and technique of record. It also used interview method assisted by recording technique and record technique. In the data analysis presentation stage, informal methods are used. The content structure that built the mythical text of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti there are three, namely opening, content, and cover. In the opening section describes the figure of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti. In the contents describe the ceremony, sraddha as a form of bhakti, and the disaster that occurred in the village of Pakraman Gelogor. In the closing section describes the end of the mythical text of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti. The functions contained in the mythical text of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti, namely (1) social function, (2) function as harmony of natural element, and (3) religious function; while the values ??contained in the mythical text of Ida Ki Dukuh Sakti are (1) magical values ??and (2) the value of local wisdom.

Abstract

This study discusses Kakawin Hariwangsa and Geguritan Hariwangsa. The purpose of research describing the structure of narrative and how far do the reception kakawin into shape geguritan. This study used structural theory of Teeuw, and reception theory of Junus powered by Jausz, Kelvin, and Fokema. Methods and techniques use divided into three stages, namely: (1) at the stage of providing data used method of reading aided engineering log and translation techniques, (2) at the stage of data analysis used descriptive comparative aided engineering analytical description, and (3) at the stage of presentation of the results of analysis Data used informal methods aided engineering inductive and deductive. The results achieved in this study, known Kakawin Hariwangsa narrative structures using a loose groove with the background of a kingdom Dwarawati, Kundina kingdom, the kingdom of the Pandavas, and setting time in the afternoon. The characters in Kakawin Hariwangsa namely Sang Krishna, Dewi Rukmini, Sang Jarasandha, Sang Pandavas and Hyang Narada. Themes in kakawin hariwangsa is loyalty and mandate that every person who faithfully and waited for her beloved then they will meet and unite with the person loves. Geguritan Hariwangsa using loose groove with background Dwarawati kingdom, the kingdom Kundina, the kingdom Magada, garden Kundina kingdom, and the kingdom Indraprasta and timescapes afternoon, seven in the evening, a full moon toward the fourth month, the afternoon before the evening and when the day was good. The characters in the Geguritan Hariwangsa namely Sang Krishna,Dewi Rukmini, Sang Jarasandha, Hyang Narada SangYudistira, Sang Arjuna, Sang Bima, Ni Kesari and I Priambada. Themes in kakawin hariwangsa is loyalty and mandate that we have to wait for someone to love us because no matter how hard we will unite separated. Kakawin Hariwangsa of narrative structure and Geguritan Hariwangsa obtained reception of kakawin towards geguritan where reception is not done thoroughly because there are some differences.

Abstract

This study aims at describing and analyzing phonological and lexical varieties of Leo language in the regions where it is spoken, classifying its dialects and subdialects, and identifying the identity of its relation to Ende language. The theories used in this study are the theory of traditional dialectology and the theory of generative. The data used were obtained from the primary and secondary sources. The observation method and the participative method were applied to collect the data needed. The data were analyzed using descriptive-comparative method which was continued with dialectometric and mapping method. The segments vowels, consonants and syllables grouped under regular and sporadic varieties. The regular vowel variety and the regular syllable variety were found just one and on the other hand 20 regular consonant varieties.   The vowel sporadic varieties found 37, the consonant sporadic varieties found 176, and the syllable sporadic varieties found 17. Lexically, Lio Language highly varied, indicated by the description of each gloss having more than 10 lexical varieties. Based on the isogloss bundles composed and based on the calculation obtained from both the lexical dialectometry and lexical dialectometry for the TPs which were close to each other, and on the permutation, DBL could be grouped into seven. (1) East Lio Language Dialect; (2) Central Lio Language Dialect; (3) Western Lio Language Dialect; (4) Ende Leo Language Dialect; (5) Welamosa Dialect; (6) Wololele A Dialect; and (7) Konara Dialect. From such groupings of dialects and sub dialects, it could be identified that Lio Language  and Ende Language were different dialects.
