Abstract

Universitas Negeri Semarang has utilized information system technology to facilitate the assessment of final student assignments. So it is necessary to test this information system to determine user satisfaction and the success of the information system in providing services. One way to test the information system is to analyze the usability aspect, using the Usefulness, Satisfaction, and Ease of use (USE) Questionnaire. Data collection involved 75 respondents from users of the final assignment system. The reliability test results on 30 questions resulted in a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.97, which means that the questionnaire's reliability was excellent. Whereas for Usability measurement, the percentage value of Usefulness is 86.7%, Ease of Use is 84.4%, Ease of learning is 86.6%, and Satisfaction is 83.0%, which shows that the final assignment system is very worthy of being used.

Abstract

Purpose: The study aims to reduce the number of irrelevant features in sentiment analysis with large features. Methods/Study design/approach: The Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm is used to classify hotel review sentiment analysis because it has advantages in processing large datasets. Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) is used to give weight values to features in the dataset. Result/Findings: This study's results indicate that the accuracy of the SVM method with TF-IDF produces an accuracy of 93.14%, and the SVM method in the classification of hotel reviews by implementing TFIDF and CFS has increased by 1.18% from 93.14% to 94.32%. Novelty/Originality/Value: Use of Correlation-Based Feature Section (CFS) for the feature selection process, which reduces the number of irrelevant features by ranking the feature subset based on the strong correlation value in each feature

Abstract

Nowadays, everything is within our grasp and with the mobile phones become easier. Its use is not limited to calls and SMS but has become a tool that can be used to serve business transactions, banking, academic of data through mobile applications. Tus, the security of authentication in the mobile application needs to be improved to avoid a hacker attack. This article presents an authentication in the mobile application to the server using a hybrid of cryptographic algorithm Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Blowfish. AES and Blowfish is a symmetric key algorithm is very fast and powerful. With the utilization of a large block size of AES and Blowfish to encrypt keys, AES security will be much more robust and complicated to attacked. So, it will be difficult for hackers to perform Man in the Middle (MitM) attacks.

Abstract

Internet dan teknologi komputasi grid mengubah cara kita mengatasi masalah yang kompleks. Komputasi grid terus menjanjikan untuk memberikan kemampuan yang tinggi dari berbagai sistem dan teknik komputasi. Kemampuan mendistribusikan aplikasi pada beberapa mesin adalah salah satu aspek kunci dari komputasi grid. Salah satu penyedia librari komputasi grid adalah Globus Toolkit. Komputasi grid ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menjalankan aplikasi opsi put Amerika dengan menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo. Simulasi Monte Carlo dapat meramalkan harga saham yang akan terjadi. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak simulasi yang dilakukan maka semakin akurat nilai rata-rata harga saham. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak simulasi yang dilakukan, akan menghasilkan nilai opsi put yang konvergen dengan standard error yang kecil dan proses komputasi dengan menggunakan jumlah prosesor yang besar akan lebih cepat.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan sistem informasi sebagai penopang organisasi tidak dapat dipungkiri lagi, dimana setiap bagian dari organisasi diharapkan mampu memberikan pelayanan yang cepat dan akurat kepada setiap end user. Salah satu bentuk layanan sistem informasi tersebut adalah Expertise Management System (EMS). EMS dikembangkan di Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) memiliki kemampuan untuk menyajikan data tentang pakar-pakar yang telah dimiliki UNNES kepada end user. Desain EMS melalui tahap prototype (analisis, perancangan, desain sistem, DFD, ERD, dan desain skema database), pemrograman, pengujian dan pemeliharaan. Melalui EMS ini pula, UNNES dapat menawarkan pakar-pakarnya untuk berkolaborasi dalam penelitian maupun kegiatan lainnya, sehingga dengan sendirinya akan memperkuat posisi UNNES di dalam persaingan tingkat regional maupun global.
