Abstract

This research aims to develop basic skills counseling instruments which refer to various counseling theories and techniques that will be used to measure the ability of students in individual counseling practicum courses. Subjects were students Prodi BK sixth semester, the University of Muhammadiyah Metro totaling 44 students. Retrieving data using Likert scale model of the scale of basic counseling skills. The analysis revealed the acquisition of scores of each indicator that is the understanding of theoretical concepts and techniques of counseling the ideal score is 616, while perolehen a total score of 382, the indicator Already using theoretical approach and counseling techniques ideal score is 264, while the acquisition of the total score is 166, then the accuracy of selecting an approach to counseling theories and techniques, the ideal score is 264 and earned a total score of 144, and the indicators used counseling theories and techniques correctly, obtained a total score of 383 out of a score of 616 is ideal. Conclusion of research is the basis of student counseling keterampilaan Prodi BK sixth semester at the University of Muhammadiyah Metro, is still relatively moderate. Recommendations advice pembeajaran quality needs to be improved and need to be arranged individual counseling practicum guides more specific and easier to use prospective student counselor.

Abstract

Appropriate learning models contribute to student learning interest in math. The purpose of this study is to describe the difference in effectiveness between scientific approach based on group investigation and discovery in terms of student's interest in learning. The research that is conducted is quasi experimental research and the design used is 2 x factorial description. In experimental class I that apply scientific approach model based on study group investigation obtained the average value of learning outcome of 66.60 while in the experimental class II applying the approach Science-based discovery learning obtained the average value of posttest of 76.28. Based on the marginal rate, the scientific approach to discovery-based learning on moderate interest in learning outcomes is higher than the learning outcomes at high and low interest. In the scientific approach based on group study investigation and discovery learning there are differences in average learning outcomes between high, medium and low interest. Scientific approach based on group investigation learning on higher interest in learning outcomes is higher than moderate and low interest.

Abstract

Objective. Physical education is an educational process that is designed to enhance the overall development of individuals by fostering their physical, mental, and social well-being. Physical education encompasses a diverse array of physical activities, including running, leaping, and exercising, that contribute to the enhancement of an individual's overall physical fitness. The objective of this investigation is to evaluate the enhancement of learning outcomes associated with particular chest pass movements in basketball games by employing a play-based methodology. The learning outcomes of chest transfers in basketball games will be examined in this study in relation to the play approach. Materials and Methods. This investigation implements the classroom action research (CAR) methodology, employing class XF of SMA Negeri 6 Semarang, which comprises 21 female students and 15 male students. Data was gathered through the use of data collection instruments, such as observation sheets and tests, during the observation and measurement stages. Results. The study's findings indicated that the play approach method can enhance the chest pass skills of students. Prior to employing the play approach, the average value indicated that 39% of students had completed the course, while 61% had not. The percentage of students who completed cycle I increased to 67% after the play approach was implemented, while the percentage of students who did not complete cycle I was 33%. The percentage of improved chest pass learning outcomes in basketball games was achieved through the play approach during the second cycle stage, which made use of the same treatment. Conclusion. The results of the treatment cycles I and II indicated that the learning outcomes for chest passes in basketball games were improved through a playing approach.

Abstract

Objective. The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the discriminatory power, difficulty level, and distractor quality of daily test items in class XI-F at SMA N 6 Semarang. Materials and Methods. The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive technique that is employed to assess the quality of test items. This is accomplished by analyzing test result data, answer keys, and student answer results. The resulting data is then processed using Anates V4 software to determine the level of difficulty, discriminating power, and distractor quality. Results. According to the study's findings, 86% of the test items exhibited favorable discrimination power, while 14% of the test items exhibited feeble or insufficient discrimination power. The difficulty level was 17%, while the moderate criteria were 46%. The simple category was as high as 37%. Very excellent distractors were rated at 11%, good distractors at 17%, less good distractors at 11%, and bad distractors at 15%. Distractors in the very bad category were rated at 46%. Conclusion. The discriminating power of the daily test questions on the subject of Physical Education and Health, basketball material for class XI-F of SMA Negeri 6 Semarang is primarily in the very good category. This implies that the quality of the queries effectively differentiates between students who have comprehended the material and those who have not. The majority are classified as moderate in terms of their level of difficulty. This implies that the queries have the potential to motivate students to exert more effort in resolving a specific issue. The quality of distractors is classified as very good (11%), good (17%), less good (11%), poor (15%), and very bad (46%).

Abstract

Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) merupakan masalah kesehatan dunia. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan pemerintah untuk mengendalikan pandemi ini menimbulkan dampak yang luas pada perekonomian, kehidupan sehari-hari dan semua aspek kehidupan anak. Gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan seringkali tidak kentara dan sulit untuk diketahui, biasanya akan terdeteksi ketika sudah terjadi masalah. Proses skrining awal memungkinkan untuk menemukan anak-anak berisiko mengalami masalah dalam perkembangan. Orang tua memiliki peran yang penting dalam melakukan kegiatan ini. Tujuan Kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan orang tua dalam memantau pertumbuhan, perkembangan, pemberian stimulasi pada balita dirumah dan tercatatnya hasil pemantauan pada buku Kesehatan Ibu Anak (KIA). Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini terdapat peningkatan  pengetahuan pada orang tua balita mengenai pemantauan pertumbuhan dan perkempangan dilihat dari hasil pre dan posttest serta terlaksananya pemantauan pertumbuhan, perkembangan dan pemberian stimulasi pada balita dirumah.

Abstract

Stunting pada masa balita dapat meningkatkan terjadinya morbilitas, anak-anak mengalami kesulitan dalam hal belajar, stunting pada masa balita memungkinkan untuk memiliki status pendek dimasa dewasa. Masyarakat seringkali mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan deteksi terhadap stunting, karena perawakan yang pendek dianggap sangat umum sehingga merukan hal normal bagi masyarakat. Pengukuran pertumbuhan yang efektif dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas hidup balita. Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) merupakan salah satu tempat pelayanan kesehatan yang bersumberdaya masyarakat yang melakukan pemantauan terhadap pertumbuhan anak. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader posyandu dalam melakukan deteksi dini terhadap stunting melalui aplikasi berbasis web. Metode pengabdian adalah dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap 15 orang kader posyandu. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan kader posyandu setelah diberikan pelatihan serta seluruh kader posyandu mau dan mampu menerapkan penggunaan aplikasi berbasis web untuk mendeteksi dini stunting pada saat pelaksanaan posyandu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the support system in the aspects of consultation services and aspects of guidance and counseling program management at SMP Negeri 1 Metro. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The instruments used in data collection used 3 types of instruments, namely interview guidelines, observation guidelines, and documentation. The results of this study resulted in the conclusion that the implementation of system support in the implementation of counseling at SMP Negeri 1 Metro in the aspect of consultation services has been carried out by the coordinator and counseling teachers with various parties including school officials, subject teachers, homeroom teachers, parents of students and the surrounding community to support the program and counseling also participates in the planning and implementation of school activities such as the procurement of health tests, psychological tests, and other school activities. The implementation of system support in the implementation of counseling at SMP Negeri 1 Metro in the aspect of counseling program management activities has carried out program development in accordance with the changes in the curriculum from K13 to the independent curriculum and counseling teachers continue to develop their counselor professionalism by actively participating in organizations and attending seminars.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi stakeholder terhadap implementasi manajemen strategi di lembaga pendidikan dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilannya. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen pada beberapa lembaga pendidikan, madrasah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi stakeholder bervariasi tergantung pada tingkat keterlibatan, kualitas komunikasi, dukungan sumber daya, dan gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh pimpinan lembaga. Stakeholder yang dilibatkan secara aktif dan diberikan pemahaman yang jelas cenderung memiliki persepsi positif dan mendukung implementasi strategi dengan lebih baik. Sebaliknya, kurangnya partisipasi dan komunikasi yang tidak efektif menyebabkan persepsi negatif, resistensi, dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan strategi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya melibatkan stakeholder sejak tahap perencanaan hingga evaluasi, memperkuat komunikasi, serta memberikan dukungan sumber daya yang memadai untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan implementasi strategi. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu lembaga pendidikan dalam mengembangkan kebijakan dan praktik manajemen yang lebih inklusif dan efektif.This study aims to explore stakeholders' perceptions of the implementation of strategic management in educational institutions and the factors influencing its success. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed to collect data through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), participatory observations, and document analysis across various educational institutions madrasahs. The findings reveal that stakeholders' perceptions vary depending on the level of involvement, quality of communication, resource support, and leadership style applied by institutional leaders. Stakeholders who are actively involved and provided with a clear understanding tend to have positive perceptions and better support the implementation of strategies. Conversely, a lack of participation and ineffective communication leads to negative perceptions, resistance, and obstacles in strategy implementation. This study highlights the importance of involving stakeholders from the planning to the evaluation stages, strengthening communication, and providing adequate resource support to enhance the success of strategy implementation. The implications of this research are expected to assist educational institutions in developing more inclusive and effective management policies and practices.

Abstract

This study stems from the issue of adolescents living in the era of social media, where various information flows in without strict filtering. The research aims to examine the effect of group guidance services on the self-concept of Generation Z students at State of high school 5 in Metro city. The research problem is formulated as follows: Does the implementation of group guidance services affect the self-concept of Generation Z students. The study employed an experimental research method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research sample consisted of 10 students categorized as Generation Z at State of high school 5 in Metro city. Data were collected using a self-concept scale comprising 30 items. The data were analyzed using a different test technique. The results showed a significant difference in the self-concept of Generation Z students before and after receiving group guidance services. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the implementation of group guidance has an effect on the self-concept of Generation Z students at State of high school 5 in Metro city

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penerapan permainan tradisional Bentengan terhadap minat aktivitas fisik siswa di SMA Negeri 6 Semarang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental design). Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 80 siswa kelas XI yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang mengikuti permainan Bentengan dan kelompok kontrol yang melanjutkan kegiatan pendidikan jasmani konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada minat aktivitas fisik siswa di kelompok eksperimen dalam tiga aspek utama: kognitif (pengetahuan), afektif (perasaan), dan perilaku (partisipasi). Permainan Bentengan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas fisik. Selain itu, permainan ini juga meningkatkan kebugaran fisik siswa, memperkuat kerja sama tim, dan menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan dalam aktivitas fisik. Oleh karena itu, permainan Bentengan dapat menjadi alternatif yang menarik untuk meningkatkan minat aktivitas fisik siswa di sekolah.
