Abstract

In the Pemitra community service activities for development cleaner farming in Desa Ngunut Kecamatan Jumantono kabupaten Karanganyar, has been done for directing activities, training, and mentoring for farmers of cattle and chickens in Desa Ngunut, Jumantono, Karanganyar. In this Pemitra activities have been conductedbriefings and training on producing of liquid and solid organic fertilizer, planting cassava  and  sengon  by  utilizing  manure,  the  introduction  of  biogas  technology applications on cattle ranchers. The results that have been obtained from this Pemitra community activities that partners have been able to understand and have the skills for managing livestock clean the biogas technology applications, the use of probiotics or fermentator in farm management, made of solid and liquid organic fertilizer, as well as the use of organic fertilizer for agricultural development cassava and sengon. The constraints and problems had been faced by the partners were 1) lack of farmer groups  that have  organizational unity  in designing,  managing, implementing  and evaluating the work program. So that the unity and continuity in performing community service activities can not be done well, 2) Most of the participants were active inpemitra was the village officials and their family, so not much give a breadth of benefits to the general public.

Abstract

School as an institution where children get education, teaching and learning so that the school produced a superior human beings and qualified. Kartasura PCM is one of the flagship PCM in PDM Sukoharjo have elementary school level that has been known in the community, namely: MIM PK Muhammadiyah Kartasura, MIM Pucangan, Kertonatan MIM, MIM Gonilan and SDIT Al Kawthar Makamhaji Kartasura. The current fifth that grade school has a good reputation in the community. This community service aimed to increased awareness of the environment from all components of school at Muhammadiyah Elementary schools in PCM Kartasura. The first stage wasthe policy workshop school by school leaders and teachers, the second was distribute the grant of trash cans and posters, the third stage wasparticipatory education of Hole Infiltration Biopori and the fourth stage was monitoring. Monitoring results found that posters used as it should be, but the trash cans are still not being used properly, placement of trash cans were not side by side and still foundedthe organic waste mix with an organic waste in the same trash cans. This community service is an initial step the realization of school basedeco-school

Abstract

The village has a population Eromoko Pucung in District 444 families (2,354 people) which includes 7 hamlet, in the dry season is always a shortage of clean water for daily use. At the peak of the dry season are forced to buy water being sold privately at a price of Rp200,000 / car tank (volume 4 m³) for the use of approximately 20  days.  In  order to  overcome the  problems of  water  needs,  the Pucung  Village Government took the initiative to manage groundwater resources that exist in the Suruh Cave. Removal activities river water underground community empowerment aimed at utilization of underground water in the Cave Have to solving the problem ofwater supply daily needs of society in Pucung Village, District Eromoko, Wonogiri. The success of water removal program is expected to reduce the price of 1 m³ water needs of the original with a maximum price of Rp 50,000 to Rp 5,000 only.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service, assess and understand; 1) learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) Curriculum 2013 based on lesson study in  the  School of  Muhammadiyah  Kartasura.  2)  Rationalization  and  elements  of curriculum change in 2013. 3) The process of learning and assessment processes appropriate to the curriculum in 2013. The method used; workshops and training. The Place; SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura. Execution time; odd semester 2014/2015. Subject: Elementary School teachers, Junior High School, High School and Vocational High School Muhammadiyah Kartasura. The results achieved; 1) learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) curriculum-based lesson study 203 through  three  stages, namely;  plan  (planning),  do  (action  and  observation),  see (reflection).  2) Rationalization and elements of curriculum change in 2013 stressed on; a) The scientific approach is based approach to encourage student creativity; b)Integrity of the competence of knowledge, skills, and attitudes; c) Integrity of the curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 3) The learning process is emphasized in the curriculum in 2013; (A) Integrated Thematic for elementary school level, (b) Approach Science (Natural Sciences) and IPS (Social Sciences) of partitive aggregative be integrated melt (liquid integrative), (c) religious and moral education, (d) learning objects; natural phenomena, social, and cultural arts. While the emphasisin  the assessment  process; assessment  student  achievement  by  using  descriptive qualitative and quantitative numerical. Learning implementation strategy IPS (Social Sciences) 203 curriculum-based lesson study using a modified model of lesson study, achievement indicators for a significant increase from the prior worhshop and trainingafter the workshop, namely; 30%: 80% (pre-test: post-test).

Abstract

Business Entrepreneurial Incubator Program (Inwabi) programmed for entrepreneurship aims to implement the role of science and technology for entrepreneurship for students at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). Activities include: recognition, empowerment, improvement of hard and soft skills of students, mental construct of student  entrepreneurship (entrepreneur soft skills), so that students are able to be creators of jobs (job creators) not only job seekers (job seekers). The target of the program Inwabi provide assistance to the 20 students in the field of new entrepreneurial small businesses and make at least 50% managed to independently manage their own businesses. Methods of community service Papiku in Inwabi include learning, training and empowerment using the concept of Project Based Learning (PBL), which contains models of mentoring, empowerment: doing, empowering, facilitating and evaluating. Besides PBL also uses Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) of potential exploration-based talent to produce and acquire prospective new entrepreneurs accordance talent / potential of each. Implementation conducted on students who are ready to become tenants, including students PKMK, students starting a new business that already have a business. Inwabi Papiku activities include direct entrepreneurial training and learning (doing), empowered (empowering), facilitated by (facilitating), and evaluated the problem constraints (evaluating) for three months. Implementation of assistance Papiku Inwabi carried out cooperation and synergy with the institutions Socialpreneur who have competence in their fields, namely (a) the Vocational School, supports hardware-based technology, training, learning and training, (b) Talents Center, to support the implementation of potential exploration entrepreneur based talent / potential, (c) Kemal Abda, an online shop is a community in the field of internet marketing. Tenant business group in Inwabi activities covering the fields of internet marketing online shop (11), the culinary field (3), in batik and fashion (2), the culinary field (4), the implementation is divided into seven stages. During the three months generated at least 50% independent of the number of 20 tenants, 10 students (tenant) became new entrepreneurs are well established, the rest is still to understand the  importance of entrepreneurship and self-employment as a mental construct a selection of work for him to be more independent.

Abstract

This community service activity conducted by lecture and discussion methods in space followed by a documentary film showing the effects of global warming that occurred in various parts of the world. This activity aims to foster understanding of the issue of global warming and reduction efforts to the members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan, Sub District Gatak in Sukoharjo District. After this socialization all members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Gatak sub-District became aware of the various issues of global warming and efforts to reduce its impact, further reducing the impact of intensified activities in greening the environment with family, school, and their villages.

Abstract

Once the problem of clean water shortage is resolved, new problems arise related to the cost of treating water pumps and water distribution channels through uneven public hydrants. Through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activity conducted by UMS Community Service Team which was attended by all heads of Dusun and management of Air Tirta Gua Suruh, it has been formulated the need for productive business in groups related to water utilization which can be used as a joint result for contribution of water pump maintenance cost Cave Suruh. The need for daily vegetable ingredients will be fulfilled independently and group through vegetable crops of pollybag media. The result of the sale of vegetable business of PKK Group and Karangtaruna has added input to the water management cost of Suruh Cave. This PEMITRA UMS Programs in assisting the community to make media pollybag as well as vegetable seed business capital managed by PKK Group in Kangkung and Karangtaruna group in Wijil have been understood.
