Abstract

This study aims to see or find out 1) the phenomenon of income inequality during 5 years of observation in the Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, 2) Human Development Index in Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, 3) The Impact of Income Inequality on the Human Development Index in Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province, The type of research used is associative research. This research was conducted using the object of research in districts / cities in West Sumatra province consisting of 19 districts / cities in Sumatra Bara province. Research data used during the period 2017-2021 with 90 samples. The results showed that: 1) Income Inequality has a negative and significant impact on the Human Development Index in the Districts / Municipalities of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of one variable with other variables and use the Stratified Random Sampling technique with a sample of 73 students. The results showed that: 1), learning discipline had a significant effect on learning achievement. Where indicated by the coefficient value of 0.591. This coefficient value is significant because the thitung value is 3.543 ttabel is 1.66980. 2), emotional intelligences have a significant effect on learning achievement. Where indicated by the coefficient value of -0.353. This coefficient value is significant because the value of thitung is -2.441 ttabel of 1.66980. 3), parents' attention has a significant effect on learning achievement. Where indicated by the coefficient value of -0.184. This coefficient value is significant because the value of thitung -1.919 ttabel is 1.66980. 4), independent learning have a significant effect on learning achievement. Where indicated by the coefficient value of 0.259. This coefficient value is significant because the thitung value is 2,680 ttabel is 1,66980. 5), peers have a significant effect on learning achievement. Where indicated by the coefficient value of -0.170. This coefficient value is significant because the value of thitung -1.959 ttabel is 1.66980. 6), learning disciplines, emotional intelligence, parental attention, independent learning, and peers together have a significant effect on learning achievement. Where obtained by the value of F-count 8.227 > F-table 2.31 with a significant level of 0.000 < = 0.05. This means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to see the influence of the contribution of social media, brandambassadors, service quality, consumer trust and brand image together on purchasing decisions amongPGRI West Sumatra Economics students.Design/Methods/Approach: This research uses a quantitative type of research. The population in thisstudy were all Economic Education Students Class of 2022 at PGRI University, West Sumatra. Dataanalysis techniques used in this research are Descriptive Analysis, Inductive Analysis, Multiple LinearRegression Analysis, Determination Analysis (R²), Hypothesis Testing.Findings: Based on the data analysis results, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1) Social Media hasa positive and significant effect on Purchase Decision, with a coefficient value of 0.181. 2) BrandAmbassador does not have a significant effect on Purchase Decision, with a coefficient value of 0.044. 3)Service Quality does not have a significant effect on Purchase Decision, with a coefficient value of 0.272.4) Consumer Trust has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decision, with a coefficient value of0.222. 5) Brand Image does not have a significant effect on Purchase Decision, with a coefficient value of0.074. 6) Social Media, Brand Ambassador, Service Quality, Consumer Trust, and Brand Image togetherhave an effect on Purchase Decision, where F-count (6.090) > F-table (2.317), with a coefficient ofdetermination (R2) value of 0.255. This means that Social Media, Brand Ambassador, Service Quality,Consumer Trust, and Brand Image influence Purchase Decision by 25.50%, with the remaining 74.50%.Originality/Value: This study employs model feasibility tests, namely the Maximum Likelihood Test andthe Ramsey RESET Test. These tests aim to identify the model parameters that are most likely to generatethe observed data and to assess whether the regression model used is correctly specified or suffers fromspecification errors.Practical/Policy implication: This research is beneficial for understanding the influence of Social Media,Brand Ambassadors, Service Quality, Consumer Trust, and Brand Image on the Purchase Decision ofTelkomsel Operator Services. Additionally, it provides insights into the theory of Purchase Decision andthe factors that influence it. Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Minat Belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Koefisien jalur Px1x2 = 0,210, thitung = 2,336 ˃ 1,664 sig. 0,02 ˂ 0,05. 2) Fasilitas Belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Koefisien jalur Px3x2 = 0,184, thitung = 2,147 ˃ 1,664 sig. 0,03 ˂ 0,05. 3) Disiplin Belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar. Koefisien jalur Px4x2 = 0,538, thitung = 6,173 ˃ 1,664 sig. 0,00 ˂ 0,05. 4) Minat Belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Belajar. Koefisien jalur Px1y = 0,150, thitung = 3,764 ˃ 1,664 sig. 0,00 ˂ 0,05. 5) Motivasi Belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap Prestasi Belajar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis 1) pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap hasil belajar, 2) pengaruh kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar, 3) lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar, 4) pengaruh metode mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar, (5) pengaruh efikasi diri, kebiasaan belajar, lingkungan keluarga dan metode mengajar guru secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS di Man Kota Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPS di Man Kota Solok yang berjumlah 70 sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian berupa angket tertutup dengan digunakan uji regresi linear berganda bertingkat dan uji hipotesa dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara efikasi diri terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai koefisien 0,090, nilai thitung 2,014>ttabel sebesar 1,997; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai koefisien 0,097, nilai thitung 2,343>ttabel sebesar 1,997; (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai koefisien 0,075, nilai thitung 2,107>ttabel sebesar 1,997; (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien 0,084 dan nilai thitung sebesar 2,654>ttabel sebesar 1,997; (5) terdapat pengaruh efikasi diri, kebiasaan belajar, lingkungan keluarga, metode mengajar guru, dan lingkungan sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar dengan Fhitung 23,144 > Ftabel 2,74.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way business people market their products through E-Commerce and social media. This condition requires the world of education, especially entrepreneurship study programs, to equip students with applicable digital marketing skills. E-Commerce not only functions as a transaction medium, but also as a means of learning digital entrepreneurship practices that integrate online store management, promotional strategy creation, and direct interaction with consumers through social media. This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of E-Commerce and the use of social media on students' understanding of entrepreneurship in the Digital Marketing and Social Media course. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with 35 respondents from the Entrepreneurship study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat . The results of data processing show that all indicators are valid and reliable with Outer Loading values above 0.70, AVE above 0.50, and Composite Reliability exceeding 0.70. Path Coefficient shows a significant influence of the use of E-Commerce (β = 0.52; p = 0.001) and social media (β = 0.47; p = 0.004) on students' understanding of digital marketing. This study is expected to be a reference for universities in designing an entrepreneurship curriculum based on digital practices that are in line with the development of the digital economy. The integration of E-Commerce and social media as learning media is believed to be able to produce young entrepreneurs who are adaptive, creative, and ready to face the challenges of the digital market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) model and emotional intelligence on the learning outcomes of grade X students in the Economics subject at SMA Negeri 6 Padang. The type of research used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of 60 students divided into two groups: 30 students in the experimental class taught using the IBL model and 30 students in the control class taught using the Direct Instruction model. The research instruments included an emotional intelligence questionnaire and a learning achievement test, which were then analyzed through validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty and discrimination index, normality and homogeneity tests, as well as two-way ANOVA using SPSS version 25. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) students taught with the IBL model achieved higher learning outcomes compared to those taught with Direct Instruction (tcount 8.706 > ttable 1.667); (2) students with high emotional intelligence taught with IBL obtained better results compared to Direct Instruction (tcount 7.905 > ttable 1.697); (3) students with low emotional intelligence also achieved higher results through IBL compared to Direct Instruction (tcount 4.215 > ttable 1.697); and (4) there was a significant interaction between the learning model and emotional intelligence on students’ learning outcomes (sig. 0.053 < α = 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the IBL model is more effective than Direct Instruction in improving students’ Economics learning outcomes, both for those with high and low emotional intelligence, and that the interaction of these variables significantly influences students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: pengaruh media pembelajaran YouTube dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar akuntansi siswa di kelas X AKL SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Jenis penelitian Quasi Experiment menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi 144 siswa dan sampel 72 siswa yang terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil belajar akuntansi siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas yang diajarkan dengan tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube di SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Hasil belajar akuntansi siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan media pembelajaran YouTube lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar akuntansi dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi yang diajar dengan tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube di SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Hasil belajar Akuntansi siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah yang diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran YouTube lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar akuntansi dengan kemandirian belajar rendah yang diajar dengan tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube di SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara media pembelajaran YouTube dan dan dengan tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran YouTube dengan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran akuntansi di SMK Negeri 2 Padang.
