Abstract

Teaching materials are an important component in learning in schools. Based on the results of interviews with the principal and fifth grade teachers of Keude Bieng Elementary School, Aceh Besar, it was found that the material presented in the textbooks was not complete enough, so that students found it difficult to understand the water cycle material. One effort is to develop teaching materials based on interesting and appropriate book creators. The purpose of this study is to produce valid, practical, and effective products. This study uses the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE development model. The instruments used were validation sheets, response questionnaires, observations and tests. The subjects in this study included 40 fifth grade students of Keude Bieng Elementary School, Aceh Besar. The results of this study are as follows. 1) The results of the validation of material and media experts obtained an average of 95%. 2) The results of small-scale tests of observations of student activities and student responses averaged 93.55%. And the results of large-scale test data of observations of student activities and student responses averaged 96.72%. 3) Effectiveness data was obtained from student learning outcomes, as many as 100% of students got a KKM pass score. Thus, it can be concluded that book creator-based teaching materials for water cycle learning are declared valid, practical and effective to be used as learning resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Augmented Reality berbantuan Assemblr EDU terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Lampeuneurut pada materi harmoni dalam ekosistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experiment dan model Posttest Only Control Design. Sampel terdiri dari kelas eksperimen 24 siswa yang diterapkan media Augmented Reality berbantuan Assemblr EDU dan 24 siswa di kelas kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda dan essay sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney Test dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media Augmented Reality berbantuan Assemblr EDU pada harmoni dalam ekosistem terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil uji Mann Whitney Test nilai Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini membuktikan adanya perbedaan nilai post-test yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Adapun penggunaan media Augmented Reality berbantuan Assemblr EDU sebaiknya memperhatikan alokasi waktu pembelajaran. Dan perlu mengatur waktu secara efektif antara tahap pengenalan aplikasi, eksplorasi konten Augmented Reality, dan kegiatan refleksi atau diskusi. Agar penggunaan teknologi tidak mengurangi waktu untuk pemahaman konsep utama.
