Abstract

Adoption Process System Of Rice Intensification (SRI) By Member Of SubakPacung In The Villege Selat, The Abiansemal Region, Badung RegencyFood Security is the availability of food and one's ability to access it. This studyaimed to determine the adoption of System of Rice Intensification (SRI) and theadopter category of Pacung Subak members. The research location wasintentionally determined in the village of Selat with a population of 50 people and asample of 24 people based on slovin formula and the data were analyzed withdescriptive analysis. The adoption process of SRI by Pacung Subak members at theconscious stage was 79.4%, at the interest stage it was 67.5%, at the judging stage,it was 80.2%, at the trying stage amounting to 80.3% to and at the adoption stage, itwas 40.2%. Adopter category Pacung Subak members, the Innovator class was 0%,early adopters was 13%, early majority was 54%, late majority was 33%, andlaggards amounted to 0%. In trying SRI, Subak members needs to do it over andover again so as to get good results. In addition, Subak members are expected toseek more information about SRI and the role of government is needed in thesuccessful adoption of an innovation that is given to farmers.

Abstract

The Impact of Changes in Local Food Consumptionof Sweet Potato and Sago into Rice Food,in Kampung Makimi, Makimi District,Nabire Regency, Papua ProvinceThe impact of rice policy is a change in the pattern of local food consumption of thecommunity. This study aims to determine the impact of changes in the pattern ofconsumption of sweet potato and sago local food into rice food consumption. Thesampling method uses simple random sampling as many as 40 household headsfrom402 populations, theanalysis method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Theresults showedthe impact of changes in the pattern of consumption of local food ofsweet potatoes and sago into rice consumption was a massive shift in publicconsumption resulted in a decrease in the level of preference for local sweet potato andsago food consumption. Most households prefer to consume rice food, because it tastesgood and is easily accessible. This can be seen by the amount of rice consumption asmuch as 1,443.8 kg / year, while the amount of sweet potato consumption is 182.4 kg /year, and sago is 728 kg / year. The negative impact of government policies andprograms on rice food availability has resulted in reduced production of local sweetpotatoes and sago. So the price of sweet potatoes and sago became expensive. Changesin the pattern of consumption of local foods of sweet potatoes and sago into riceresulted in an increase of 18.75% in Diabetes Meliatus in Makimi Makimi Village.Suggestion that can be submitted as input is that necessary to process local food intovalue-added commodities that can attract households to consume local food. Thegovernment is expected to formulate regulations related to the food sovereigntyprogram, especially local sweet potatoes and sago. Government policies for theassistance of raskin should be reduced by quota, and replaced by a food subsidiesprogram based on local food. There needs to be a tithe regarding the diversification ofconsumption of nutritiousbalanced food, especially in utilizing local food potential.

Abstract

Perception Farmers Against Availability Infrastructures in Subak BabakanBengkel I Village Getasan Sub District Petang Badung. Agriculture in a broad sense includes smallholder agriculture, plantation, forestry,animal husbandry and fishery. Facilities and infrastructure are all things that are used asa tool in achieving the objectives of farmers in Subak Babakan Bengkel I VillageGetasan to support developments in running the farm. Based on this expected that thedevelopments in the availability of facilities and infrastructure in the farming. Based onthe above problems, the purpose of this study was to determine the perception offarmers on the availability of facilities and infrastructure of farming in Subak BabakanBengkel I Village Getasan Sub District Petang Badung. To prepare a good questionnairerequired some testing prior to conducting the study. Testing the questionnaire usingSPSS. The variable in this study is the perception of farmers on the availability offacilities and infrastructure of farming in Subak Babakan Bengkel I Village Getasan SubDistrict Petang Badung. Indicators of this study include the availability of means ofproduction, namely seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, plant growth regulator and inoculant.Alsintan (agricultural machinery), ie sprayer, power weeder, emposan tikus, reaper,tractors and power threaser. Network infrastructure includes farm roads, halls Subak,and irrigation canals. To maintain and increase the availability of facilities andinfrastructure in Subak Babakan Bengkel I of both categories should be excellentfarmers complementary facilities and infrastructure that can greatly help in a timeefficient and agricultural work in Subak

Abstract

Agro Tourism Promotion Mix Strategies of Bagus Agro Pelaga in Pelaga Village, Petang Sub-District of Badung Regency Bagus Agro Pelaga is an agrotourism in North Badung. This agrotourism developed with the concept of Tri Hita Karana. This research was conducted with the aim to find out internal and external factors of Bagus Agro Pelaga. Determine alternative strategies and priority strategies for Bagus Agro Pelaga. The research methods used to achieve these objectives, namely descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis and QSPM. This study uses informants selected through the purposive sampling method with applicable terms and conditions. The resulting strategic priorities for Bagus Agro Pelaga include implementing cooperation with the local government, local communities, travel agents and sister partnerships. In addition, Bagus Agro Pelaga can also carry out market diversification by highlighting on-farm, off-farm and out-farm activities.

Abstract

Abstract Community Preference in Buying Oranges in Denpasar City, Bali Orange is one of the fruits that are often consumed by people. There are various types of local and import oranges in the market. In determining the choice or making decisions in product selection, every consumer are affected by preference. Preference is the tendency of consumer to choose one product rather than other products. Factors that are affecting consumer preferences in buying oranges are orange’s quality, social aspects, economic aspects, motivation, and continuity.The study conclude that the community preference in buying oranges in Denpasar city can be classified as a lot (7,105). The primary factor that has the greatest role is orange’s quality (19,05%), and social aspect (14,73%) has the lowest against the role of community preferences in buying oranges in Denpasar city. Secondary factor that have the greatest role ini community preferences in buying oranges are orange’s flavor (7,26%), and the lowest role of secondary factor is public knowledge regarding oranges (4,80%).

Abstract

Subak Lepang is located in Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency with an area of 165 hectares. That subak is experiencing water limitations so that the farmers are very difficult toget water. Besides that, the dry season is too long, at night the subak members must close thetertiary channel in order to get higher water volume into the rice field. Based on the casehence purpose of this study to know profile of Subak Lepang viewed from social aspect,economic aspect and technical aspect. This research data obtained through structuredinterviews and documentation then it analyzed by using descriptive qualitative analysismethod. The result of this study shows that profile of Subak Lepang viewed from economicaspect is included in high category (69,78%) and from technical aspect included in highcategory (70,21%) and social aspect included in medium category (67,07%). On theeconomic aspect, this is due to the cooperation between subak and cooperatives regarding thedistribution of subak fertilizer. Technical aspects shows that the maintenance of irrigationfacilities obtain a high indicator because subak members able to maintain and keep the SubakLepang’s irrigation facility. Social aspect in moderate category due to rare water so thatsubak members should able to manage water more efficient. Therefore, subak membersshould together to provide a water reservoir for used irrigation so that during the dry seasonthey not lack of water in the rice field.

Abstract

Perception of Farmers on Special Efforts to Increase Rice, Corn and SoybeanProduction (The Case of SRI Technology in Subak Lungatad,Peguyangan Kangin Village, Denpasar City)The need for food is one of the main aspects for the survival of society. Special Foodfor food self-sufficiency 2015-2017 is the effort of the Ministry of Agriculture tosucceed in self-sufficiency in rice, corn, soybeans in 2017. One of the hopes as the bestsolution for agriculture in Indonesia in increasing production is through a method offarming patterns with the System of Rice Intensification (SRI). The purpose of thisstudy was to find out the perception of farmers on the Upsus Pajale program, especiallySRI technology in Subak Lungatad, Peguyangan Kangin Village, North DenpasarDistrict. The number of samples was 30 farmers. The data were gathered throughquestionnaires using quantitative and qualitative data types. The data that had beenprocessed were further analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis method.Research results show that the farmers' perceptions of SRI technology: (1) innovationwas in good category with a score of 3.96, (2) social aspects were in good category witha score of 3.61, (3) economic aspects were in good category with a score of 4.09. And(4) the technical/ environmental aspects were also in the good category with a score of3.48.Based on the results of the research and conclusions obtained, the suggestion that can bemade to the government is that they should provide more input on the SRI plantingsystem, both through technical guidance, field practice (making demonstration plots)and mentoring during each planting season, so that the results achieved could berailored to the expectations of all parties. It is also recommended that they should paymore attention to the rice sales system which is currently being sold using a slashsystem, with the calculation using the area (acre), thus making it difficult for farmers toobtain optimal benefits.

Abstract

Kebutuhan sumber daya lahan dan air cenderung meningkat karena pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk, kepentingan pembangunan, dan perubahan gaya hidup. Persaingan menggunakan lahan dan air pada akhirnya akan menggeser ketersediaan mereka untuk pertanian. Status petani dan keberlanjutan bisnis usahatani akan mengukur keberadaan subak di tengah kebutuhan lahan untuk kepentingan non pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status petani dan kelangsungan usaha tani dengan keberadaan subak di Kecamatan Kuta Utara. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah responden adalah 60 anggota petani yang dikumpulkan secara proporsional random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status petani dan keberlanjutan bisnis usahatani memiliki pengaruh positif dan sangat signifikan dengan keberadaan subak. Nilai pengaruh tidak langsung yang merupakan pengaruh status petani melalui kelangsungan usaha pertanian lebih besar daripada pengaruh langsung. Ini membuktikan bahwa status petani belum maksimal mempertahankan keberadaan subak. Variabel pembentuk kontinuitas usaha usahatani memiliki nilai tertinggi yang berarti bahwa variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan patokan dalam mempertahankan keberadaan subak. Saran untuk Kramasubak di Kecamatan Kuta Utara adalah bahwa diharapkan dapat lebih aktif dalam melakukan kegiatan kelompok tani yang dapat membantu perekonomian. Pelaksana di bidang pertanian / akademisi dapat membantu mengubah pola pikir petani dan dapat membantu dalam memasok panen ke vila atau restoran lokal. Pemerintah dapat mendukung untuk menyiapkan mesin penggilingan padi yang dilengkapi dengan pengering.

Abstract

Pembangunan pertanian memiliki arah untuk meningkatkan produksi dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan pangan dan kebutuhan industri di dalam negeri, untuk meningkatkan ekspor, untuk memperluas kesempatan kerja dan untuk mendorong peluang bisnis pada saat yang sama untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani sehingga diharapkan untuk menganalisa efek dari produksi faktor meliputi luas lahan, pupuk, pestisida, tenaga kerja dan teknologi, terhadap peningkatan hasil produksi pertanian dan untuk analisis efisiensi teknis, harga dan ekonomi, faktor produksi berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi di Subak Carik Tangis, Tabanan -Bali. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petani di Subak Carik Tangis sebanyak 137 orang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah proporsional random sampling sebanyak 58 petani. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan penghitungan produksi Cobb-Douglas yang diperkirakan terhadap faktor produksi dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan regresi ordinary least square (OLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersamaan hampir semua faktor produksi padi dalam fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas dalam usahatani padi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap produksi padi. Faktor produksi benih, luas lahan, pupuk urea, dan teknologi berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi. Pestisida matador dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi beras. Hasil analisis efisiensi teknis, semua faktor produksi secara teknis efisien, faktor produksi benih, luas lahan, pupuk, pestisida, dan tenaga teknis yang efisien. Dilihat dari efisiensi harga, semua faktor produksi tidak efisien atau efisien, dalam hal ini penggunaan input digunakan secara berlebihan sehingga perlu dikurangi untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal. Dilihat dari efisiensi ekonomi semua faktor produksi tidak efisien yang artinya penggunaan input tidak optimal, sehingga petani belum mendapatkan keuntungan yang maksimal. Jika petani ingin hasil panen padi berpengaruh nyata, maka petani padi di Subak Carik Tangis Wongaya Gede Tabanan perlu memikirkan faktor-faktor produksi yang akan digunakan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang akan meningkatkan produksi padi secara maksimal. Dalam melakukan usahatani padi, pemerintah perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang akan mempengaruhi produksi padi sehingga mencapai efisiensi dalam usahatani padi. Penggunaan faktor produksi perlu dilakukan secara tepat, agar petani mampu mencapai tingkat efisiensi. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya yang akan melakukan penelitian di Subak Carik Tangis, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang "Efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi padi organik" dan "strategi pemasaran hasil produksi padi khususnya Beras Merah".

Abstract

The waste problem is not only related to the production and its transportation, but also concerning the sorting of organic and non-organic types. Temesi landfills in Gianyar Regency through the Yayasan Pemilahan Sampah Temesi (YPST) has a waste sorting activity to be used as a more economical product, namely compost fertilizer "Temesi Organik". The organic fertilizers usage in Bali Province in the last five years (2013-2017) has always been with an average of 28,897 tons. This potential will be a marketing opportunity for organic fertilizer producers in Bali Province. But YPST facing a problem lack of good planning in terms of product marketing. The purpose of this study was to analyze internal and external factors, formulate alternative strategies, and determine the priority strategies in developing marketing of compost fertilizer "Temesi Organik". Data analysis methods used are SWOT and AHP analysis. The results of the study based on the SWOT analysis obtained six alternative strategies namely improving product quality to maintain customer loyalty and the synergy of government policies, maintaining product continuity to reach the organic fertilizers market potential, maintaining the legality of organic certification, expanding market networks by utilizing social media and word of mouth marketing methods, complementing facilities and production infrastructure in composting, and improving the quality of human resources to produce products with a strong bargaining position. Based on AHP analysis obtained the main priority of six alternative strategies is to expand the market network by utilizing social media and the word of mouth marketing method.
