Abstract

Dalam riset sebelumnya dimensi perilaku keberagamaan umumnya diukur dengan multi-aspek seperti ritual, pengetahuan keagamaan, kredo, keimanan, konsekuensi individual-sosial, habituasi dan seterusnya, sehingga akhirnya ditemukan faktor yang paling menentukan perilaku keberagamaan seseorang baik sebagai individu atau komunitas. Makalah ini memperluas kajian perilaku keberagamaan tersebut melalui variabel akibat terpaan media online. Pendekatan riset menggunakan mix-methods, dengan metode survey dan observasi langsung kepada 366 responden, melalui teknik quota sampling secara proporsional pada generasi veteran, x, y dan z. Dan hasilnya, media online terbukti menjadi variabel diterminan di antara kombinasi variabel habituasi beragama, pendidikan, kesejahteraan, identitas nasionalisme, dan kesenjangan sosial. Terpaan media online secara langsung berhasil mengubah konservatisme beragama khalayak muslim menjadi lebih moderat, sementara lainnya bersifat simultan dan atau tidak langsung. Selain itu, moderasi kehidupan beragama di lingkup keluarga muslim lebih mungkin dilakukan dibanding kehidupan sosial dan politiknya.

Abstract

Riset ini secara khusus ditujukan untuk memotret peta keilmuan dosen yang dimiliki UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta,  dengan mengkaji tipologi kajian keislaman para dosen dalam aspek teologi, filsafat Islam, tasawuf, dan problematika umat Islam modern. Estafet keilmuan studi Islam yang dikembangkan UIN Jakarta dinilai perlu untuk terus ditumbuhkembangkan pada generasi pendidik berikutnya sebagai bentuk konsistensi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan agar ciri UIN Jakarta sebagai Kampus Pembaharu Islam tidak memudar.Data dalam riset ini diperoleh dan dianalisis dari dokumen sitasi google scholar periode 1960-2018. Hasil riset ini diharapkan menjadi pijakan strategis para pengambil keputusan dalam merencanakan, mengelola dan menjamin mutu sumberdaya pendidik berbasis kekhasan visi dan misi UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta sebagai pusat studi Islam dunia. Secara akademis, kontribusi riset ini menjadi bagian dari sejarah perkembangan pemikiran Islam di Indonesia sekaligus menggambarkan corak pemikiran yang berkembang di setiap fase generasi pendidik pada institusi ini.

Abstract

TikTok is changing generation Z's interactions, communications, and identity formation, influencing social behavior and cultural values ​​with both positive and negative impacts. (1) The development of digital technology has changed the way generation Z interacts, which is very dependent on social media such as TikTok. This application has become a global phenomenon with significant influence on social and cultural aspects. (2) This research aims to explore the impact of TikTok on changes in social behavior and cultural values ​​of generation Z, including positive and negative aspects. (3) The research used a descriptive qualitative method with a symbolic interactionism theory approach and cultivation theory, through questionnaires and structured interviews with 109 respondents. (4) TikTok makes it easier to access information and strengthens social values ​​such as empathy and diversity, but it also influences social interaction patterns and creates social pressure for users. This platform also changes the way we view local culture, with a tendency to adopt global trends. Conclusion: TikTok plays a role in shaping the social behavior and cultural values ​​of generation Z, but a balance is needed between freedom of expression and preserving local values ​​to mitigate its negative impact in the digital era.

Abstract

Online mass media is growing rapidly over time, especially among Generation Z. Not only a tool for finding information or exchanging messages, online mass media can also be used as a place of transaction. The ease of accessing product information on online mass media triggers an increase in the buying and selling process, resulting in lifestyle changes that lead to consumptive behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence, factors, and psychological impact of online mass media exposure on changes in the consumptive behavior of generation Z. The approach taken is a descriptive quantitative method with a quantitative approach. The approach taken was a descriptive quantitative method with a questionnaire as a research instrument. The population taken is people who belong to generation Z. The results of the study show that the influence of online mass media exposure on the consumptive behavior of generation Z shows significant variations. As many as 50% of respondents were strongly influenced by online mass media exposure and behaved consumptive, 37% were moderately affected but did not show consumptive behavior, while 13% were not affected and remained rational in making purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di era digital telah mengubah media massa menjadi media digital yang mendukung aktivitas komersial, seperti integrasi e-commerce oleh platform Shopee. Hadirnya e-commerce tidak hanya mengubah perilaku konsumsi masyarakat, tetapi juga mempengaruhi gaya hidup dan nilai-nilai budaya konsumen Indonesia. Adapun penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan perilaku belanja, preferensi, serta pandangan terhadap nilai-nilai tradisional akibat kehadiran platform belanja online. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik survei atau jajak pendapat berupa kuesioner. Dengan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa e-commerce seperti Shopee memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap perubahan gaya hidup, pola konsumsi, dan nilai kultural di masyarakat, khususnya di kalangan Gen Z.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, fundraising through donations is no longer limited to donation boxes or collections conducted by philanthropic organizations or similar social institutions. Currently, social organizations are leveraging digital platforms to sustain donation funds through online innovations. This allows us to contribute donations anytime and anywhere. This research aims to analyze the social behavior related to the interest in charitable giving through electronic donations. The research method used in this study is qualitative, with a questionnaire distributed to a maximum of 30 respondents interested in donating through electronic donations. The results of this study indicate a high level of interest in making ZIS payments digitally, as it is more practical and flexible to use.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of thriller movies on anxiety and interpersonal relationship patterns of Gen Z students in Indonesia. The method used was quantitative with a survey approach, involving 123 respondents. Data was obtained through a questionnaire containing 12 multiple choice questions and 3 essay questions, using a Likert scale to measure respondents' attitudes and opinions. The results showed that most respondents felt anxiety when watching intense scenes in thriller movies and thought of bad scenarios more often. However, the impact on sleep difficulties and unreasonable anxiety was not significant. In addition, thriller movies affected the pattern of interpersonal relationships with respondents becoming more cautious in trusting others and more empathic to other people's emotional situations. Based on the Uses and Gratification theory, thriller movies are chosen to fulfill emotional and entertainment needs. The findings reveal how media, particularly thriller movies, can affect young people's psychological well-being and social relationships.

Abstract

Generation Z is a generation that has grown up with digital technology as an integral part of their lives. The main focus of this study is the impact of stereotypes spread through social media on the social interactions and behaviors of this generation. Using a questionnaire-based survey method, data was collected from 100 Generation Z respondents who are active on social media X. The results showed that social media X has a role to play in the social interaction and behavior of this generation. The results showed that social media X has an important role in Generation Z's communication, selfexpression and social awareness. Respondents recognized the benefits of social media in opening up insights into social issues and diversity, although the stereotypes circulating are not always accurate. In addition, social media is also considered capable of countering negative stereotypes through positive content that supports identity and diversity. However, respondents still see in-person interaction as an important element in building deeper relationships. In conclusion, social media X is not only a tool to enhance Generation Z's social connections and confidence, but also plays a role in reducing the negative impact of stereotypes through wise use

Abstract

The research entitled "The Influence of TikTok Shop on Lifestyle and Consumer Culture among UIN Jakarta Journalism Students" aims to find out how influential TikTok Shop is as an e-commerce platform for UIN Jakarta students. And does their use of TikTok Shop influence their lifestyle and change them into being consumptive in shopping? This research uses qualitative methods, namely by conducting interviews with 30 UIN Jakarta students. Based on the results of the analysis, researchers found that there is an influence of TikTok Shop on their lifestyle needs and consumer culture. And the TikTok Shop algorithm which is quite sophisticated in recommending products means that students tend to be exposed to relevant items according to their preferences. With very diverse impacts starting from lifestyle, shopping preferences and financial management. It can be concluded that TikTok Shop is not just a shopping platform, but part of the influence of digital culture which actively shapes consumption patterns in the younger generation, especially students.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the influence of Instagram use on religious and social behavior changes among Generation Z. A quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design was applied using a questionnaire as the main instrument. Data analysis included Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression. Results indicated that Instagram usage duration significantly affects changes in religious behavior (r=0.334; p<0.01) and social behavior (r=0.521; p<0.01), while frequency and intensity showed weaker effects. Longer usage duration increases the risk of neglecting religious activities and decreases face-to-face interaction intensity. This study highlights the importance of managing social media usage time to maintain the balance of religious and social life among Generation Z.
