Abstract

One of the literary works that describes forms of human behavior into the value of friendship and contains the potential for local wisdom in each region can be realized in the form of short stories. This research aims to identify and describe the behavior between characters which illustrates the value of friendship which is implemented from local wisdom in the short story collection Anak Aku, Dia and They by Putu Ayub. This research is a qualitative type with a library research approach. Data is collected through documentation techniques, reading techniques and defects. The research results show that the implementation of the values ​​of friendship and local wisdom in the content of short stories includes the special nature of a moment, sharing feelings of joy and sorrow, trust in a secret, honesty over instincts in one's conscience, and the urgency of helping each other in all matters. The depiction of the value of friendship from the existence of local wisdom in each region has been realized in the content of the short story through the actions carried out between the characters in a narrative manner.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Interactive Digital Worksheet called "Liveworksheet" and assess its feasibility and practicality as a learning tool for Indonesian language in junior high school (SMP). The study employs a research and development (R&D) method, utilizing the Borl and Gell development framework consisting of six steps to create the Interactive Digital Worksheet (Liveworksheet). The six steps are: identifying potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. The subjects of the study included a subject matter expert, a media expert, two Indonesian language teachers from SMP (junior high school), and ninth-grade students from SMP Negeri 2 Miri, Sragen Regency. Data were collected through the feasibility questionnaire for the Liveworksheet, observations, and documentation. Data analysis employed quantitative descriptive statistics. The result of this research is an Interactive Digital Worksheet called "Liveworksheet" for students. The media feasibility, validated by the subject matter expert and media expert, received an average score of 78, with a percentage of 83.55%, indicating that the developed media is considered "feasible." Practicality validation conducted by teachers and students yielded an average score of 100, with a percentage of 83.33%, demonstrating that the Digital Liveworksheet is practical for enhancing student motivation in learning at SMP Negeri 2 Miri. This research suggests that teachers should consider developing Interactive Digital Worksheets (Liveworksheets) for other subjects as well.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SD Negeri Pranan 01 through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with paired card media. The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, with each cycle including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In the pre-cycle phase, only 30,77% of students achieved mastery in learning outcomes. The application of the PBL model in Cycle 1 resulted in an improvement to 69,23% of students reaching mastery, while Cycle 2 showed further improvement with 92,31% of students achieving mastery. Data were collected through observation sheets that recorded student engagement and participation, as well as learning outcome tests that assessed understanding of addition concepts before and after the implementation of the PBL model. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively to measure the improvement in learning outcomes and qualitatively to evaluate student activities during learning. The findings indicate that the PBL model with paired card media not only enhanced students' understanding of addition concepts but also improved student engagement and interaction during the learning process. This study suggests improvements in instructional delivery and the use of more varied learning media to achieve optimal learning outcomes and support the development of more innovative teaching practices in the future.
